Based on the 2D traditional quantitative predicting method, the geoanomaly theory and the mineral exploration model idea, we constructed 3D models of the topography, strata, structure, magmatite and prospecting engineering of the study area using the commercial 3D modeling software Micromine, delineated eight prospective areas and estimated the gold resources amount with methods of Abundance Estimation and Volume Estimation. Then, we compared and counted the known ore blocks and the predicted blocks, which quantitatively explains this prediction's validity. | 4 | Comparison of dynamic adsorption/desorption characteristics of toluene on different porous materials显示文摘Four different types of adsorbents, SBA-15, MCM-41, NaY and SiO2, were used to study the dynamic adsorption/desorption of toluene. To further investigate the influence of pore structure on its adsorption performance, two SBA-15 samples with different microspores were also selected. It is shown that microporous material NaY has the largest adsorption capacity of 0.2873 mL/g, and the amorphous SiO2 exhibits the least capacity of 0.1003 mL/g. MCM-41 also shows a lower break through capacity in spite of the relatively small pore diameter, because it can not provide the necessary small geometric confinement for the tiny adsorbates. However, the mesoporous SBA-15 silica with certain micropore volume shows relatively higher adsorption capacity than that of MCM-41 silica. The presence of micropores directly leads to an increase in the dynamic adsorption capacity of toluene. Although NaY has the highest adsorption capacity for toluene, its complete desorption temperature for toluene is high (> 350°C), which limits its wide application. On the contrary, mesoporous silica materials exhibits a good desorption performance for volatile organic compounds at lower temperatures. Among these materials mesoporous SBA-15 samples, with a larger amount micropores and a lower desorption temperature, are a potentially interesting adsorbent for the removal of volatile organic compounds. | 9 | Numerical Investigations on the Steady and Unsteady Leakage Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics of Rotor Blade Squealer Tip显示文摘The steady and unsteady leakage flow and heat transfer characteristics of the rotor blade squealer tip were conducted by solving Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS) equations with k-ω turbulence model.The first stage of GE-E3 engine with squealer tip in the rotor was adopted to perform this work.The tip clearance was set to be 1% of the rotor blade height and the groove depth was specified as 2% of the span.The results showed that there were two vortexes in the tip gap which determined the local heat transfer characteristics.In the steady flow field,the high heat transfer coefficient existed at several positions.In the unsteady case,the flow field in the squealer tip was mainly influenced by the upstream wake and the interaction of the blades potential fields.These unsteady effects induced the periodic variation of the leakage flow and the vortexes,which resulted in the fluctuation of the heat transfer coefficient.The largest fluctuation of the heat transfer coefficient on the surface of the groove bottom exceeded 16% of the averaged value on the surface of the squealer tip. | Jun LI Hao SUN Jinshan WANG Zhenping FENG | 2011 | Journal of Thermal Science2011,20,4: | 9 |

Recursion method is adopted to calculate the electronic structure of RE (rare earth) in grains and around phase boundaries respectively. The calculation shows that RE is more stable around phase boundaries than in grains, which explains the fact that the solution of RE in α phase is less, and RE mainly aggregates in front of phase boundary. The calculations of bonding order integrals also show that RE in front of phases hardly solidify onto the grain surfaces as active element so as to prevent grains growth and refine the grains. The more the rotor tip speed increases and tip clearance height decreases, the more the scraping effect acts. | 17 | Highly catalytic activity of Mn/SBA-15 catalysts for toluene combustion improved by adjusting the morphology of supports显示文摘Rod-like, hexagonal and fiber-like SBA-15 mesoporous silicas were synthesized to support MnO_x for toluene oxidation. This study showed that the morphology of the supports greatly influenced the catalytic activity in toluene oxidation. MnO_x supported on rod-like SBA-15(R-SBA-15) displayed the best catalytic activity and the conversion at 230°C reached more than 90%, which was higher than the other two catalysts. MnO_x species consisted of coexisting MnO_2 and Mn_2O_3 on the three kinds of SBA-15 samples. Large amounts of Mn_2O_3 species were formed on the surface and high oxygen mobility was obtained on MnO_x supported on R-SBA-15, according to the H_2 temperature programmed reduction(H_2-TPR)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) results. The Mn/R-SBA-15 catalyst with greater amounts of Mn_2O_3 species possessed a large amount of surface lattice oxygen, which accelerated the catalytic reaction rate. The retinal tissues of studied eyes and control eyes were obtained for the pathological examination with TUNEL method respectively.The value of glutamate in vitreum of injured eyes was measured and was compared with that of contralateral eyes. Statistical comparison analysis on the experiment data was performed.Result: The value of glutamate in vitreum of injured eyes was significantly higher than that of contralateral eyes in all rabbits in the study. A lot of TUNEL positive cells were observed in the injured eyes. | 20 | Au plasmon enhanced high performance β-Ga_2O_3 solar-blind photo-detector显示文摘Surface plasmon polariton(SPP) is electro-magnetic wave coupled to free electron oscillations near the surface of metal, and has been used to improve the photoelectric properties in many optoelectronic devices. In the present study, the Au nanoparticles(NPs)/β-Ga_2O_3 composite thin film was fabricated through depositing Au ultra-thin film on the β-Ga_2O_3 thin film followed by post-thermal treatment. Compared to bare β-Ga_2O_3 thin film, a significant absorption around 510 nm, which is attributed to SPP of Au NPs, was observed in the UV–vis spectrum of Au NPs/β-Ga_2O_3 composite thin film.
