1Effect of scraping therapy on weightlifting ability显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To verify the effects of scraping therapy on the weightlifting ability by measuring the subjective sensation,and changes of biomarkers.METHODS:Five students,who have been trained for 3 years in a sport school in China were participated in this study.A course of scraping therapy was applied to intervene during the normal 7-week of weightlifting training programme.The ability of weightlifting,the scale of rating perceived exertion and serum biochemical markers were measured before and after the intervention.RESULTS:Scraping therapy caused a significant increase in weightlifting ability(P<0.05).The level of rating perceived exertion remained stable with the increase in the training volume.Immuno-globulinA was significantly increased(P<0.05),and creatine kinase and blood urea nitrogen were significantly decreased(P<0.05).No significant changes were observed in white blood cell,neutrophil,and testosterone.CONCLUSION:Scraping therapy may facilitate weightlifting ability mainly by decreasing weight sensation and improving serum biochemical parameters.Xingze Wang Wichai Eungpinichpong Jinsheng Yang Uraiwan Chatchawan Saowanee Nakmareong Yingying Wang Xinyan Gao 2014Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014,34,1:11
2Compact CMOS spectral sensor for the visible spectrum显示文摘A compact single-shot complementary metal-oxide semiconductor(CMOS) spectral sensor for the visible range(wavelength 400–700 nm) is presented. The sensor consists of two-dimensional silicon nitride-based photonic crystal(PC) slabs atop CMOS photodetectors. The PC slabs are fabricated using one-step lithography and amenable to monolithic integration into CMOS image sensors. Featuring a small footprint of 300 μm× 350 μm,the sensor can successfully measure the spectra over the 400–700 wavelength range with a best resolution of1 nm. 3Guasha improves the rating of perceived exertion scale score and reduces heart rate variability in male weightlifters:a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effects of Guasha therapy on the rating of perceived exertion(RPE) scale score, and heart rate variability(HRV).METHODS: A randomized controlled trial of Guasha(skin scraping) was compared with a sham scraping group and control group. Sixteen sessions within an 8-week period were completed. Sixty-five male weightlifters who had undergone normal weightlifting training for a mean of 5 years before study commencement were recruited. The RPEscale score of 'snatch', 'clean and jerk' maneuvers(85% of one-repetition maximum), and HRV were measured before and after the intervention.RESULTS: The RPE scale score for snatch, clean and jerk were reduced significantly after intervention in the Guasha group and sham group. 4Corporate governance and audit fees:Evidence from companies listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange显示文摘This study uses data from companies listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange to investigate the relationship between corporate governance and audit fees. Full sample results reveal a significant negative relationship between corporate governance and audit fees, and subsample results further show that corporate governance's influence on audit fees is affected by corporate growth. The negative relationship between corporate governance and audit fees is economically and statistically significant in sample companies that grew moderately during the sample period, and mixed or insignificant in companies that experienced overly fast or negative growth.Xingze Wu 2012China Journal of Accounting Research2012,,4:3
5Effects of Gua Sha therapy on weightlifting training: a randomized trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of Gua Sha therapy on weightlifting training.METHODS: The sample size was calculated by conducting a pilot study. A total of 44 male weightlifters were randomly assigned to either the Gua Sha group(n = 15), sham scraping group(n = 14), or control group(n = 14). The participants in the Gua Sha group and sham scraping group received 16 sessions of Gua Sha therapy during normal weightlifting training for 8 weeks. No treatment was applied to participants in the control group. The effectiveness of Gua Sha therapy was evaluated by measuring weightlifting ability, the rating of perceived exertion(RPE) of snatch and clean and jerk(85% of1 repetition maximum), and creatinine kinase(CK),blood urea nitrogen(BUN), and immunoglobulin A levels.RESULTS: Gua Sha therapy treatment significantly increased weightlifting ability in participants in the Gua Sha group(P < 0.01). The RPE values of snatch and clean and jerk were significantly lower in the Gua Sha group and sham scraping groups compared with the control group(P < 0.05). CK levels were lower and immunoglobulin A levels were significantly higher in the Gua Sha group compared with sham scraping group and control group(both P < 0.05). BUN levels tended to be reduced only in the Gua Sha group. A close correlation between CK levels and the RPE was found in the Gua Sha group.CONCLUSION: Gua Sha therapy can facilitate weightlifting ability, reduce the RPE, and inhibit muscle injury by promoting recovery from fatigue caused by normal weightlifting training. 14Sources of sediment in tidal flats off Zhejiang coast,southeast China显示文摘The growth of tidal flats off Zhejiang coasts in southwestern China has provided substantial areas for local agriculture and construction activities.To evaluate modern and future development of tidal flats in the region,a good understanding of sediment sources is necessary.Previous research has concluded that the Changjiang(Yangtze)River is the dominant supplier of sediments to this part of the southeast Chinese coast,despite the fact that sediment delivery from this source has been decreased markedly in the past two decades.In this study,we investigated the sources of tidal flat sediments,and the magnetic and geochemical properties of recent tidal flat sediments along the Zhejiang coast were compared with those discharged from rivers.Magnetic and geochemical properties of the tidal flat samples reveal statistically distinct sediment provenance groups.The magnetic and geochemical scatter plots show that the suspended sediment samples are naturally divided into two different groups,one including the Changjiang River and Qiantang River material,and the other including the Jiaojiang,Oujiang,and Feiyun Rivers that located in the central and southern parts of the study areas.At last,a binary source of tidal flat sediments along the Zhejiang coast was determined,with the substantial majority originating from local rivers,while a much smaller proportion emanates from the Changjiang River to the north.We conclude that the sediment contribution of the Changjiang River to tidal flat development in the region has been markedly overestimated,with important implications for management.Jia JIA Xingze ZHANG Ruhui ZHOU Michael MEADOWS Dhritiraj SENGUPTA Lidong ZHU 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,4:0
15Circuit-level convergence of electronics and photonics:basic concepts and recent advances显示文摘Integrated photonics is widely regarded as an important post-Moore’s law research direction.However,it suffers from intrinsic limitations,such as lack of control and satisfactory photonic memory,that cannot be solved in the optical domain and must be combined with electronics for practical use.Inevitably,electronics and photonics will converge.The photonic fabrication and integration technology is gradually maturing and electronics-photonics convergence(EPC)is experiencing a transition from device integration to circuit design.We derive a conceptual framework consisting of regulator,oscillator,and memory for scalable integrated circuits based on the fundamental concepts of purposeful behavior in cybernetics,entropy in information theory,and symmetry breaking in physics.Leveraging this framework and emulating the successes experienced by electronic integrated circuits,we identify the key building blocks for the integrated circuits for EPC and review the recent advances.Min Tan Yuhang Wang Ken Xingze Wang Yuan Yu Xinliang Zhang 2022Frontiers of Optoelectronics2022,15,2:0
16Effect of calcination temperature on B-site vacancy content of La0.75Sr0.25Mn0.92△0.08O3-δperovskite显示文摘Lanthanum manganite with cation vacancies from nominal La_(0.75)Sr_(0.25)Mn_(0.92)△_(0.08)O_(3-δ) nanocrystalline powder was successfully prepared at different calcination temperatures using the sol-gel method. X-ray diffraction shows that as the calcination temperature(T_(Cal)) increases, the crystal particle diameter increases, but the B-site vacancy content decreases. According to a powder diffraction profile fitting technique and transmission electron microscopy results, the vacancy content can be estimated as 0.08,0.01, and 0.005 for T_(Cal) = 1073,1273, and 1473 K, respectively. Magnetization versus temperature curves show that the magnetic transition temperatures, including the Curie temperature, are influenced by both B-site vacancies and double-exchange interaction between Mn^(3+) and Mn^(4+) cations. A core-shell model is proposed for vacancies located on the surfaces of the crystal particles. 17The reservoir learning power across quantum many-body localization transition显示文摘Harnessing the quantum computation power of the present noisy-intermediate-size-quantum devices has received tremendous interest in the last few years. Here we study the learning power of a one-dimensional long-range randomly-coupled quantum spin chain, within the framework of reservoir computing. In time sequence learning tasks, we find the system in the quantum many-body localized (MBL) phase holds long-term memory, which can be attributed to the emergent local integrals of motion. On the other hand, MBL phase does not provide sufficient nonlinearity in learning highly-nonlinear time sequences, which we show in a parity check task. This is reversed in the quantum ergodic phase, which provides sufficient nonlinearity but compromises memory capacity. In a complex learning task of Mackey–Glass prediction that requires both sufficient memory capacity and nonlinearity, we find optimal learning performance near the MBL-to-ergodic transition. This leads to a guiding principle of quantum reservoir engineering at the edge of quantum ergodicity reaching optimal learning power for generic complex reservoir learning tasks. 18Observation of dark edge states in parity-time-symmetric quantum dynamics显示文摘Topological edge states arise in non-Hermitian parity-time(PT)-symmetric systems, and manifest themselves as bright or dark edge states, depending on the imaginary components of their eigenenergies. As the spatial probabilities of dark edge states are suppressed during the non-unitary dynamics, it is a challenge to observe them experimentally. Here we report the experimental detection of dark edge states in photonic quantum walks with spontaneously broken PT symmetry, thus providing a complete description of the topological phenomena therein. We experimentally confirm that the global Berry phase in PT-symmetric quantum-walk dynamics unambiguously defines topological invariants of the system in both the PT-symmetry-unbroken and-broken regimes. 19Atomic Ni directional-substitution on ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheet to achieve the equilibrium of elevated redox capacity and efficient carrier-kinetics performance in photocatalysis显示文摘It is a challenge to coordinate carrier-kinetics performance and the redox capacity of photogenerated charges synchronously at the atomic level for boosting photocatalytic activity.Herein,the atomic Ni was introduced into the lattice of hexagonal ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheets(Ni/ZnIn_(2)S_(4))via directionalsubstituting Zn atom with the facile hydrothermal method.The electronic structure calculations indicate that the introduction of Ni atom effectively extracts more electrons and acts as active site for subsequent reduction reaction.Besides the optimized light absorption range,the elevation of Efand ECBendows Ni/ZnIn_(2)S_(4) photocatalyst with the increased electron concentration and the enhanced reduction ability for surface reaction.Moreover,ultrafast transient absorption spectroscopy,as well as a series of electrochemical tests,demonstrates that Ni/ZnIn_(2)S_(4) possesses 2.15 times longer lifetime of the excited charge carriers and an order of magnitude increase for carrier mobility and separation efficiency compared with pristine ZnIn_(2)S_(4).These efficient kinetics performances of charge carriers and enhanced redox capacity synergistically boost photocatalytic activity,in which a 3-times higher conversion efficiency of nitrobenzene reduction was achieved upon Ni/ZnIn_(2)S_(4).Our study not only provides in-depth insights into the effect of atomic directional-substitution on the kinetic behavior of photogenerated charges,but also opens an avenue to the synchronous optimization of redox capacity and carrier-kinetics performance for efficient solar energy conversion.Haibin Huang Guiyang Yu Xingze Zhao Boce Cui Jinshi Yu Chenyang Zhao Heyuan Liu Xiyou Li 2024Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,88,1:0
20Thermoplastic elastomer enhanced interface adhesion and bending durability for flexible organic solar cells显示文摘Stable interface adhesion and bending durability of flexible organic solar cells(FOSCs)is a basic requirement for its real application in wearable electronics.Unfortunately,the device performance always degraded during continuous bending.Here,we revealed the weak interface adhesion force between MoO_(3) hole transporting layer(HTL)and the organic photoactive layer was the main reason of poor bending durability.The insertion of an interface bonding layer with a thermoplastic elastomer,polystyrene-blockpoly(ethylene-ran-butylene)-block-polystyrene(SEBS)effectively improved the interface adhesion force of MoO_(3) HTL and the active layer and decreased the modulus,which ensured higher than 90%of the initial efficiency remaining after 10000 bending.Meanwhile,the FOSCs gave an efficiency of 14.18%and 16.15%for the PM6:Y6 and PM6:L8-BO devices,which was among the highest performance of FOSCs.These results demonstrated the potential of improving the mechanical durability of FOSCs through thermoplastic elastomer interface modification.Zihan Xu Yunfei Han Yuanyuan Bai Xingze Chen Jingbo Guo Lianping Zhang Chao Gong Qun Luo Ting Zhang Chang-Qi Ma 2022npj Flexible Electronics2022,6,1:0
