1Selective catalytic methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gases over Ni/ZrO_2 catalyst显示文摘Ni/ZrO2 catalysts were prepared by the incipient-wetness impregnation method and were investigated in activity and selectivity for the selective catalytic methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gases with more than 20 vol% CO2. The result showed that Ni loadings significantly influenced the performance of Ni/ZrO2 catalyst. The 1.6 wt% Ni loading catalyst exhibited the highest catalytic activity among all the catalysts in the selective methanation of CO in hydrogen-rich gas. The outlet concentration of CO was less than 20 ppm with the hydrogen consumption below 7%, at a gas-hourly-space velocity as high as 10000 h-1 and a temperature range of 260 °C to 280 °C. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and temperature programmed reduction (TPR) measurements showed that NiO was dispersed thoroughly on the surface of ZrO2 support if Ni loading was under 1.6 wt%. 2Distributed modeling of monthly air temperatures over the rugged terrain of the Yellow River Basin显示文摘Our analyses of the monthly mean air temperature of meteorological stations show that altitude,global solar radiation and surface effective radiation have a significant impact on air temperature.We set up a physically-based empirical model for monthly air temperature simulation.Combined the proposed model with the distributed modeling results of global solar radiation and routine meteorological observation data,we also developed a method for the distributed simulation of monthly air temperatures over rugged terrain.Spatial distribution maps are generated at a resolution of 1 km×1 km for the monthly mean,the monthly mean maximum and the monthly mean minimum air temperatures for the Yellow River Basin.Analysis shows that the simulation results reflect to a considerable extent the macro and local distribution characteristics of air temperature.Cross-validation shows that the proposed model displays good stability with mean absolute bias errors of 0.19℃-0.35℃.Tests carried out on local meteorological station data and case year data show that the model has good spatial and temporal simulation capacity.The proposed model solely uses routine meteorological data and can be applied easily to other regions.ZENG Yan QIU XinFa HE YongJian SHI GuoPing LIU ChangMing 2009Science China Earth Sciences2009,52,5:11

4Early Eocene Radiolarian Fauna from the Sangdanlin, Southern Tibet: Constraints on the Timing of Initial India-Asia Collision显示文摘This is a new report on the early Eocene radiolarian fauna from the Sangdanlin section in the Gyirong region, along the southern margin of the Yarlung Zangbo Suture Zone. The Sangdanlin section measured in this study is divided into three lithostratigraphic units from bottom to top: the Zongzhuo, Sangdanlin, and Zheya formations. Abundant radiolarian fossils were obtained from the Sangdanlin section and 54 species of 30 genera were identified and assigned as follows: Cryptamphorella conara-C. macropora the late Cretaceous Zone and Amphisphaera coronate, Buryella tetradica-Bekoma campechensis, and B.bidartensis-B. divaricata the Paleocene-early Eocene Interval Zones. The Paleocene–early Eocene radiolarian zones are comparable to the radiolarian zones RP4-RP8 in New Zealand. Based on the data of radiolaria and lithofacies, it is suggested that the Zongzhuo Formation should be deposited along the base of the north-facing, continental slope of the Greater Indian continental margin, and the Sangdanlin Formation should be a deep marine, sedimentary sequence located in a foreland basin. 5Effect of Transition Metals (Cu, Co and Fe) on the Autothermal Reforming of Methane over Ni/Ce_(0.2)Zr_(0.1)Al_(0.7)O_δ Catalyst显示文摘The transition metals (Cu, Co, and Fe) were applied to modify Ni/Ce0.2Zr0.1 Al0.7Oδcatalyst. The effects of transition metals on the catalytic properties of Ni/Ce0.2Zr0.1 Al0.7Oδautothermal reforming of methane were investigated. The Ni-supported catalysts were characterized by XRD, TPR and XPS. Tests in autothermal reforming of methane to hydrogen showed that the addition of transition metals (Cu and Co) significantly increased the activity of catalyst under the conditions of lower reaction temperature, and Ni/Cu0.05Ce0.2Zr0.1Al0.65Oδwas found to have the highest conversion of CH4 among all catalysts in the operation temperatures ranging from 923 K to 1023 K. TPR, XRD and XPS measurements indicated that the cubic phases of CexZr1-xO2 solid solution were formed in the preparation process of catalysts. Strong interaction was found to exist between NiO and CexZr1-xO2 solid solution. 6Selective CO methanation over amorphous Ni-Ru-B/ZrO_2 catalyst for hydrogen-rich gas purification显示文摘Amorphous Ni-Ru-B/ZrO2 catalysts were prepared by chemical reduction method. The effects of Ni-Ru-B loading and Ru/Ni mole ratio on the catalytic performance for selective CO methanation from reformed fuel were studied, and the catalysts were characterized by BET, ICP, XRD and TPD. The results showed that Ru strongly affected the catalytic activity and selectivity by increasing the thermal stability of amorphous structure, promoting the dispersion of the catalyst particle, and intensifying the CO adsorption. For the catalysts with Ru/Ni mole ratio under 0.15, the CO methanation conversion and selectivity increased significantly with the increasing Ru/Ni mole ratio. 7A Novel Chimeric Mitochondrial Gene Confers Cytoplasmic Effects on Seed Oil Content in Polyploid Rapeseed (Brassica napus)显示文摘Cytoplasmic effects (CEs) have been discovered to influence a diverse array of agronomic traits in crops, and understanding the underlying mechanisms can help accelerate breeding programs. Seed oil content (SOC) is of great agricultural, nutritional, and economic importance. However, the genetic basis of CEs on SOC (CE-SOC) remains enigmatic. In this study, we use an optimized approach to sequence the cytoplasmic (plastid and mitochondrial) genomes of allotetraploid oilseed rape (Brassica napus) cultivars, 51218 and 56366, that bear contrasting CE-SOC. By combining comparative genomics and genome-wide transcriptome analysis, we identify mitochondria-encoded orf188 as a potential CE-SOC determinant gene. Functional analyses in the model system Arabidopsis thaliana and rapeseed demonstrated that orf188 governs CE-SOC and could significantly increase SOC, strikingly, through promoting the yield of ATP. Consistent with this finding, transcriptional profiling with microarray and RNA sequencing revealed that orf188 affects transcriptional reprogramming of mitochondrial energy metabolism to facilitate ATP production. Intriguingly, orf188 is a previously uncharacterized chimeric gene, and the presence of this genetic novelty endows rapeseed with positive CE-SOC. 8Effect of CeO2 on the catalytic performance of Ni/Al2O3 for autothermal reforming of methane显示文摘The effect of promoter Ce on the catalytic performance of Ni/Al_2O_3 catalyst for autothermal reforming of methane to hydrogen was investigated.The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),temperature-programmed reduction (TPR),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The results indicated that the catalytic performance of the catalysts was improved with the addition of Ce.Ni/Ce_(30)Al_(70)O_δshowed the highest CH_4 conversion in operation temperatures ranging from 650℃to 850℃.At the same time,the decrease in H_2/CO ratio with increasing reaction temperature was consistent with the fact that water-gas shift reaction was thermodynamically unfavorable at higher temperatures.The XRD result indicated that adding Ce to Ni/Al_2O_3 catalyst prevented the formation of NiAl_2O_4 and facilitated the formation of NiO.The formation of NiO increased the number of active sites,resulting in higher activity.Comparing the TPR profiles of Ni/Ce_(30)Al_(70)O_δwith Ni/Al_2O_3,it could be clearly observed that with the addition of Ce,the total reduction peak areas in the middle and low temperatures increased.It was most probably that the addition of Ce inhibited the stronger interaction between Ni and Al_2O_3 to form the phase of NiAl_2O_4,and favored the formation of the strong interaction between NiO species and CeO_2.Therefore, the addition of Ce to the Ni/Al_2O_3 catalyst increased the active surface that promoted the activity of the catalyst.Xiulan Cai Xinfa Dong Weiming Lin 2008Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2008,17,1:4

Using thedeveloped model,normalsofannualDSR quantity with aresolution of1 km × 1 km forthe Yellow River Basin was generated, with DEM data as the general characterization of terrain. 13Basement Structure and Properties of the Western Junggar Basin, China显示文摘A comprehensive geophysical profile stretching from Qingyijing at the southern edge of the Junggar Basin to Ubara on the northern margin of the Junggar Basin was conducted in an attempt to probe the crustal structure of the western Junggar Basin(hereafter referred to simply as ‘the Basin'), and, in particular, the structure and property of the Basin's crystalline basement. A survey using seismically converted waves was conducted along this profile to determine the characteristics of the P-and Swave velocities typical of the crust and uppermost mantle. A joint inversion of gravitation and aeromagnetic data was also performed to acquire the density and magnetization intensity values found beneath the western Basin. This research revealed that the Basin is composed of the so-called Manasi terrain in the south, and the Wulungu terrain in the north. Their boundary is located along the WNW-trending Dishuiquan-Sangequan suture, linking the NE-striking Da'erbute suture(DS) in the west, and the WNWtrending Kalameili suture(KS) in the east. In its northern part, the Wulungu-type terrain has a doublelayered basement, of which the upper layer is a folded basement of Hercynian orogenic origin, and the lower layer is a crystalline basement of Middle–Upper Proterozoic age. The southern part of the Basin, i.e., the Manasi terrain, has a single-layered crystalline basement. 14Removal of CO from reformed fuels by selective methanation over Ni-B-Zr-O_δ catalysts显示文摘The Ni-B-Oδ and Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts were prepared by the method of chemical reduction, and the deep removal of CO by selective methanation from the reformed fuels was performed over the as-prepared catalysts. The results showed that zirconium strongly influenced the activity and selectivity of the Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts. Over the Ni-B-Oδ catalyst, the highest CO conversion obtained was only 24.32% under the experimental conditions studied. However, over the Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts, the CO methanation conversion was higher than 90% when the temperature was increased to 220℃. Additionally, it was found that the Ni/B mole ratio also affected the performance of the Ni-B-Zr-Oδ catalysts. With the increase of the Ni/B mole ratio from 1.8 to 2.2, the CO methanation activity of the catalyst was improved. But when the Ni/B mole ratio was higher than 2.2, the performance of the catalyst for CO selective methanation decreased instead. Among all the catalysts, the Ni29B13Zr58Oδ catalyst investigated here exhibited the highest catalytic performance for the CO selective methanation, which was capable of reducing the CO outlet concentration to less than 40 ppm from the feed gases stream in the temperature range of 230-250℃, while the CO2 conversion was kept below 8% all along. 15CO selective methanation in hydrogen-rich gas mixtures over carbon nanotube supported Ru-based catalysts显示文摘Series of carbon nanotube supported Ru-based catalysts were prepared by impregnation method and applied successfully for complete removal of CO by CO selective methanation from H2-rich gas stream conducted in a fixed-bed quartz tubular reactor at ambient pressure.It was found that the metal promoter,reduction temperature and metal loading affected the catalytic properties significantly.The most excellent performance was presented by 30 wt% Ru-Zr/CNTs catalyst reduced at 350℃.Since it decreased CO concentration to below 10ppm from 12000ppm by CO selective methanation at the temperature range of 180-240℃,and kept CO selectivity higher than 85% at the temperature below 200℃.Characterization using XRD,TEM,H2-TPR and XPS suggests that Zr modification of Ru/CNTs results in the weakening of the interaction between Ru and CNTs,a higher Ru dispersion and the oxidization of surface Ru.Amorphous and high dispersed Ru particles with small size were obtained for 30 wt% Ru-Zr/CNTs catalyst reduced at 350℃,leading to excellent catalytic performance in CO selective methanation.Jun Xiong Xinfa Dong Lingling Li 2012Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,4:3
16Influence of TiB2 particles on machinability and machining parameter optimization of TiB2/Al MMCs显示文摘In situ formed TiB_2 particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites(TiB_2/Al MMCs)have some extraordinary properties which make them be a promising material for high performance aero-engine blade.Due to the influence of TiB_2 particles, the machinability is still a problem which restricts the application of TiB_2/Al MMCs.In order to meet the industrial requirements, the influence of TiB_2 particles on the machinability of TiB_2/Al MMCs was investigated experimentally.Moreover, the optimal machining conditions for this kind of MMCs were investigated in this study.The major conclusions are:(1) the machining force of TiB_2/Al MMCs is bigger than that of nonreinforced alloy and mainly controlled by feed rate;(2) the residual stress of TiB_2/Al MMCs is compressive while that of non-reinforced alloy is nearly neutral;(3) the surface roughness of TiB_2/Al MMCs is smaller than that of non-reinforced alloy under the same cutting speed, but reverse result was observed when the feed rate increased;(4) a multi-objective optimization model for surface roughness and material removal rate(MRR) was established, and a set of optimal parameter combinations of the machining was obtained.The results show a great difference from Si C particle reinforced MMCs and provide a useful guide for a better control of machining process of this material.Ruisong JIANG Xinfa CHEN Renwei GE Wenhu WANG Guodong SONG 2018Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2018,31,1:3
17Distributed Modeling of Extraterrestrial Solar Radiation Over the Rugged Terrains of Pakistan显示文摘In Pakistan,the solar analogue has been addressed but its surface geographical parameterization has given least attention.Inappropriate density of stations and their spatial coverage particularly in difficult peripheral national territories,little or no solar radiation data,non-satisfactory sunshine hours data,and low quality of ground observed cloud cover data create a situation in which the spatial modeling of Extraterrestrial Solar Radiation(ESR) and its ground parameterization got sufficient scope.The Digital Elevation Model (DEM) input into Geographic Information System (GIS) is a compatible tool to demonstrate the spatial distribution of ESR over the rugged terrains of the study domain.For the first time,distributed modeling of ESR is done over the rugged terrains of Pakistan,based on DEM and ArcGIS..Results clearly depict that the complex landforms profoundly disrupt the zonal distribution of ESR in Pakistan.The screening impact of topography is higher on spatial distribution of ESR in winter and considerably low in summer.The combined effect of topography and latitude is obvious.Hence,the model was further testified by plotting Rb (ratio of ESR quantity over rugged terrain against plane surface) against azimuth at different latitudes with different angled slopes.The results clearly support the strong screening effect of rugged terrain through out the country especially in Himalayas,Karakoram and Hindukush (HKH),western border mountains and Balochistan Plateau.This model can be instrumental as baseline geospatial information for scientific investigations in Pakistan,where substantial fraction of national population is living in mountainous regions.Romana AMBREEN QIU Xinfa Iftikhar AHMAD 2011Journal of Mountain Science2011,8,3:3
18Preparation and oxygen permeation properties of SrFe(Cu)O_(3-δ) dense ceramic membranes显示文摘Mixed oxygen-ionic and electronic conducting membranes of SrFe(Cu)O3-δ were prepared by solid-state reaction method. The crystal structure, oxygen nonstoichiometry, and phase stability of the materials were studied by TGA and XRD. Oxygen permeation fluxes through these membranes were studied at operating temperature ranging from 750 to 950 °C. Results showed that doping Cu in SrFeO3-δ compound had a significant effect on the formation of single-phased perovskite structure. For SrFe1-xCuxO3-δ series materials, the oxygen nonstoi- chiometry and the oxygen permeation flux increased considerably with the increase of Cu-doping content (x = 0.1–0.3). The sintering property of the membrane decreased significantly when the Cu substitution amount reached 40%. 19New Method for Estimating Daily Global Solar Radiation over Sloped Topography in China显示文摘A new scheme for the estimation of daily global solar radiation over sloped topography in China is developed based on the Iqbal model C and MODIS cloud fraction. The effects of topography are determined using a digital elevation model. The scheme is tested using observations of solar radiation at 98 stations in China, and the results show that the mean absolute bias error is 1.51 MJ m^(-2) d^(-1) and the mean relative absolute bias error is 10.57%. Based on calculations using this scheme,the distribution of daily global solar radiation over slopes in China on four days in the middle of each season(15 January,15 April, 15 July and 15 October 2003) at a spatial resolution of 1 km × 1 km are analyzed. To investigate the effects of topography on global solar radiation, the results determined in four mountains areas(Tianshan, Kunlun Mountains, Qinling,and Nanling) are discussed, and the typical characteristics of solar radiation over sloped surfaces revealed. 20Hydrogen production by glycerol reforming in supercritical water over Ni/MgO-ZrO_2 catalyst显示文摘Nano ZrO2 and MgO-ZrO2 were prepared by a self-assembly route and were employed as the support for Ni catalysts used in hydrogen production from glycerol reforming in supercritical water (SCW). The reforming experiments were conducted in a tubular fixed-bed flow reactor over a temperature range of 600-800℃. The influences of process variables such as temperature, contact time, and water to glycerol ratio on hydrogen yield were investigated and the catalysts were charactered by ICP, BET, XRD and SEM. The results showed that high hydrogen yield was obtained from glycerol by reforming in supercritical water over the Ni/MgO-ZrO2 catalysts in a short contact time. The MgO in the catalyst showed significant promotion effect for hydrogen production likely due to the formation of the alkaline active site. Even when the glycerol feed concentration was up to 45 wt%, glycerol was completely gasified and transfered to the gas products containing hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and methane along with small amounts of carbon monoxide.
