The effect of an electric field on the thermomechanical damage of nodular defects in dielectric multilayer coatings irradiated by nanosecond laser pulses显示文摘Thermomechanical damage of nodules in dielectric multilayer coatings that are irradiated by nanosecond laser pulses has been interpreted with respect to mechanical properties and electric-field enhancement. However, the effect of electric-field enhancement in nodular damage, especially the influence of electric-field distributions, has never been directly demonstrated through experimental results, which prevents the achievement of a clear understanding of the damage process of nodular defects. Here,a systematic and comparative study was designed to reveal how electric-field distributions affect the damage behavior of nodules. To obtain reliable results, two series of artificial nodules with different geometries and film absorption characteristics were prepared from monodisperse silica microspheres. After establishing simplified geometrical models of the nodules, the electric-field enhancement was simulated using a three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain code. Then, the damage morphologies of the artificial nodules were directly compared with the simulated electric-field intensity profiles. For both series of nodules, the damage morphologies reproduced our simulated electric-field intensity distributions very well. These results indicated that the electric-field distribution was actually a bridge that connected the nodular mechanical properties to the final thermomechanical damage.Understanding of the damage mechanism of nodules was deepened by obtaining data on the influence of electric-field distributions on the damage behavior of nodules. | Xinbin Cheng Jinlong Zhang Tao Ding Zeyong Wei Hongqiang Li Zhanshan Wang | 2013 | Light(Science & Applications)2013,2,1: | 20
Effect of composite supports on the methanation activity of Co-Mo-based sulphur-resistant catalysts显示文摘The effects of composite supports of CeO2-Al2O3,MgO-Al2O3,TiO2-Al2O3 or ZrO2-Al2O3 on the methanation activity of supported Co-Mo-based sulphur-resistant catalysts were investigated. The catalysts were further characterized by nitrogen adsorption measurement,X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The catalyst of 5%CoO-15%MoO3 supported on CeO2-Al2O3,MgO-Al2O3,TiO2-Al2O3 or ZrO2-Al2O3 composite oxides, respectively, showed different catalytic performances of syngas methanation in the presence of hydrogen sulphide as compared with that of the 5%CoO-15%MoO3/Al2O3 catalyst. The Co-Mo/CeO2-Al2O3 catalyst shows the highest methanation activity among the tested catalysts. The enhanced methanation activity may be attributed to the improvement of the dispersion of active metal species and the inhibition of the formation of S6+. | Haiyang Wang Zhenhua Li Erdong Wang Can Lin Yuguang Shang Guozhong Ding Xinbin Ma Shaodong Qin Qi Sun | 2012 | Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,6: | 15
High CO methanation activity on zirconia-supported molybdenum sulfide catalyst显示文摘In this study, different methods were used to prepare MoO3/ZrO2 catalysts for sulfur resistant methanation reaction. It was found that MoO3/ZrO2 catalyst prepared by one-step co-precipitation method achieved high methanation performance. CO conversion could reach up to90% on 25 wt% MoO3/ZrO2 catalyst, much higher than that on the conventional 25 wt% MoO3/Al2O3 catalyst. The Mo-based catalysts were characterized by XRF, XRD, Raman, BET, TEM and H2-TPR etc. It was found that MoO3 particles were highly dispersed on ZrO2 support for 25 wt% MoO3/ZrO2 catalyst prepared at 65-85℃ because of its relatively larger pore size, which contributed to a high CO conversion.Meanwhile, when MoO3 loading exceeded the monolayer coverage, the formed crystalline MoO3 and ZrMo2O8might block the micropores of the catalyst and make the methanation activity declined. These results are useful for preparing highly efficient catalyst for CO methanation process. | Zhenhua Li Ye Tian Jia He Baowei Wang Xinbin Ma | 2014 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2014,23,5: | 15
Mercury isotope variations in surface soils in different contaminated areas in Guizhou Province,China显示文摘Guizhou Province is known as a heavily Hg-polluted area in China due to its special geochemical background and complicated Hg emission sources. In this study,we investigated the Hg isotope compositions of surface soil samples in the Hg mining area, zinc smelting area, coal combustion area, which are known to be the typical pollution regions of Hg in this province. We also compared the Hg isotopic fingerprints of primary Hg sources, such as hydrothermal Hg-bearing ores, coals and atmospheric Hg samples.According to our study,Hg stored in surface soils in different pollution regions in Guizhou Province displays a wide range of both mass dependent fractionation(MDF,δ202Hg) and mass independent fractionation(MIF,△199Hg).δ 202 Hg varies by 2.0‰ and △199Hg varies by 0.25‰ in the investigated surface soils. This study demonstrated that using a 'MDF-MIF' two dimensional Hg isotope system could be particularly useful in discriminating Hg sources in soils. | FENG XinBin YIN RunSheng YU Ben DU BuYun | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,2: | 13
Mercury speciation and spatial distribution in surface waters of the Yarlung Zangbo River,Tibet显示文摘The Yarlung Zangbo River is the highest river in the world. It flows from west to east through the southern part of Tibet. The mercury(Hg)speciation and distribution in surface waters and soils near the bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River and its two tributaries, the Lhasa and Niyang Rivers, were investigated in June 2007.Simultaneously,major water quality parameters were also measured at the same stations.Total Hg(THg)and total methylmercury(TMeHg)concentrations in surface waters of the Yarlung Zangbo River ranged from 1.46 to 4.99 ng/L and from 0.06 to 0.29 ng/L,respectively,representing the background levels in river systems of the Tibetan Plateau.Particulate Hg(PHg)accounted for 69%of the THg,and the two Hg species had a significant relationship(r=0.990,P<0.01).Approximately 61%of the spatial distribution of THg was controlled by the concentrations of total suspended particles(TSP).Reactive Hg(RHg)concentrations ranged from 0.10 to 0.36 ng/L,and this fraction may play a weak role in terms of the transport and fate of Hg in surface waters.Dissolved methylmercury(DMeHg)constituted 71%of the TMeHg and was significantly correlated with TMeHg(r=0.746,P<0.01).The spatial distribution of TMeHg is not strongly affected by environmental factors such as THg,RHg,temperature,pH,dissolved organic carbon(DOC),and TSP.In addition, the inflow of both the Lhasa and Niyang Rivers probably influences the concentrations of THg in surface waters of the mainstream, but such an effect is not obvious for TMeHg. | ZHENG Wei KANG ShiChang FENG XinBin ZHANG QiangGong LI ChaoLiu | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,24: | 11
An Approach of Distributed Joint Optimization for Cluster-based Wireless Sensor Networks显示文摘Wireless sensor networks(WSNs) are energyconstrained,so energy saving is one of the most important issues in typical applications. The clustered WSN topology is considered in this paper. To achieve the balance of energy consumption and utility of network resources,we explicitly model and factor the effect of power and rate.A novel joint optimization model is proposed with the protection for cluster head.By the mean of a choice of two appropriate sub-utility functions, the distributed iterative algorithm is obtained. The convergence of the proposed iterative algorithm is proved analytically. We consider general dual decomposition method to realize variable separation and distributed computation, which is practical in large-scale sensor networks.Numerical results show that the proposed joint optimal algorithm converges to the optimal power allocation and rate transmission, and validate the performance in terms of prolonging of network lifetime and improvement of throughput. | Zhixin Liu Yazhou Yuan Xinping Guan Xinbin Li | 2015 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2015,2,3: | 10
Three-Dimensional Heat Transfer Analysis for A Thermal Energy Storage Canister显示文摘High temperature latent thermal storage is one of the critical techniques for a solar dynamic power system. This paper presents results from heat transfer analysis of a phase change salt containment canister A three-dimensional analysis program is developed to model heat transfer in a PCM canister. Analysis include effects of asymmetric circumference heat flux, conduction in canister walls, liquid PCM and solid PCM, void volume change and void location, and conduction and radiation across PCM vapor void. The PCM phase change process is modeled using the enthalpy method and the simulation results are compared with those of other two- dimensional investigations. It’s shown that there are large difference with two-dimensional analysis, therefore the three-dimensional model is necessary for system design of high temperature latent thermal storage. | Hou Xinbin, Xin Yuming, Yang Chunxin, Yuan Xiugan (Dept.of Flight Vehicle Design and Applied Mechanics, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing, 100083.) | 8 | Refreezing of cast-in-place piles under various engineering conditions显示文摘In the construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Power Transmission Line(QTPTL), cast-in-place piles(CIPPs) are widely applied in areas with unfavorable geological conditions. The thermal regime around piles in permafrost regions greatly affects the stability of the towers as well as the operation of the QTPTL. The casting of piles will markedly affect the thermal regime of the surrounding permafrost because of the casting temperature and the hydration heat of cement. Based on the typical geological and engineering conditions along the QTPTL, thermal disturbance of a CIPP to surrounding permafrost under different casting seasons, pile depths, and casting temperatures were simulated. The results show that the casting season(summer versus winter) can influence the refreezing process of CIPPs, within the first 6 m of pile depth. Sixty days after being cast, CIPPs greater than 6 m in depth can be frozen regardless of which season they were cast, and the foundation could be refrozen after a cold season. Comparing the refreezing characteristics of CIPPs cast in different seasons also showed that, without considering the ground surface conditions, warm seasons are more suitable for casting piles. With the increase of pile depth, the thermal effect of a CIPP on the surrounding soil mainly expands vertically, while the lateral heat disturbance changes little. Deeper, longer CIPPs have better stability. The casting temperature clearly affects the thermal disturbance, and the radius of the melting circle increases with rising casting temperature. The optimal casting temperature is between 2 °C and 9 °C. | Lei Guo QiHao Yu XiaoNing Li XinBin Wang YongYu Yue | 2015 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2015,7,4: | 8
Late-stage rapid accumulation of the PL19-3 giant oilfield in an active fault zone during Neotectonism in the Bozhong depression,Bohai Bay显示文摘Late-stage is defined here as the period when Neotectonism occurred since 5.1 Ma. Most petroliferous basins in China lie in the areas where Neotectonism occurred intensively. In recent years, Chinese petroleum geologists have paid much attention to late-stage petroleum accumulation. The PL19-3 giant oilfield is situated where faulting activities occurred violently during Neotectonism. To understand the mechanism of lat-stage rapid accumulation, we discussed the most important aspects responsible for the formation of the giant oilfield, including oil generation, active oil-source rock occurrence, fault activity and fault conduits, late-stage rapid oil injection as well as the distinguishing indicators. This study shows that: (1) sufficient oil was supplied to the PL19-3 field since 5.1 Ma because the PL19-3 structure was surrounded by four sags in which three intervals of high-quality source rocks remained active during Neotectonism; (2) densely distributed faults and high porosity/permeability sandstone carrier beds comprised the effective conduit system for oil migration and injection; (3) oil migrated along the faults and charged the PL19-3 structure rapidly by means of seismic pumping which was triggered by frequent earthquakes during Neotetonism. It is documented that elevated reservoir temperature, abnormal geothermal gradients and abnormally high homogenization temperatures of the fluid inclusions are the indicators for late-stage rapid oil accumulation. | ZOU HuaYao GONG ZaiSheng TENG ChangYu ZHUANG XinBin | 2011 | Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,3: | 8

High-precision measurement of mercury isotope ratios of atmospheric deposition over the past 150 years recorded in a peat core taken from Hongyuan, Sichuan Province, China显示文摘High-precision 210Pb dating technology was applied to a peat core with a time span of about 150 years that was taken from Hongyuan, Sichuan Province, China. The concentrations of total mercury (Hg) and stable isotope compositions of mercury in the peat core were measured using a LUMEX 915 instrument and multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer, respectively. Total mercury (Hg) concentrations in the peat core had a clearly increasing trend from the bottom to top of the core while δ 202Hg values (relative to NIST 3133) of peat had a decreasing trend. The total mercury (Hg) concentration varied from 16.7 to 101.3 ng/g and the δ 202Hg values ranged from –0.44‰± 0.14‰ to –1.45‰± 0.22‰. We clearly show that the study area experienced mercury pollution after the industrial revolution, and the mercury emitted from natural sources and anthropogenic sources had different Hg isotope signatures. | SHI WenFang FENG XinBin ZHANG Gan MING LiLi YIN RunSheng ZHAO ZhiQi WANG Jing | 2011 | Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,9: | 7
Total mercury in wild fish in Guizhou reservoirs, China显示文摘The health hazard of mercury (Hg) compounds is internationally recognized, and the main pathways for methylmercury (MeHg) intake in humans are through consumption of food, especially fish. Given the large releases of Hg to the environment in China, combined with the fast development of hydropower, this issue deserves attention. Provided similar mobilization pathways of Hg in China as seen in reservoirs in North America and Europe one should expect increased Hg contamination in relation to future hydropower reservoir construction in this country. This study presents total Hg (THg) concentrations in wild fish from six Guizhou reservoirs, China. The THg concentrations in fish were generally low despite high background levels in the bedrock and depositions from local point sources. The over all mean ± SD concentration of THg was (0.066 ± 0.078) μg/g (n = 235). After adjusting for among-reservoir variation in THg, there were significant differences in THg among functional groups of the fish, assumed to re?ect trophic levels. Predicted THg- concentration ratios, retrieved from a mixed linear model, between the functional groups were 9:4:4:1 for carnivorous, omnivorous, planktivorous and herbivorous fish. This result indicated that MeHg accumulation may prevail even under circumstances with short food chains as in this Chinese water system. No fish exceeded recommended maximum THg limit for human consumption set by World Health Organization and the Standardization Administration of China (0.5 μg/g fish wet weight (ww)). Only six fish (2.5%) exceeded the maximum THg limit set by US Environmental Protection Agency (0.3 μg/g fish ww). | Haiyu Yan Atle Rustadbakken Heng Yao Thorjorn Larssen Xinbin Feng Ting Liu Lihai Shang Thrond O. | 13 | Numerical analysis of applying special pavements to solve the frost heave diseases of high-speed railway roadbeds in seasonally frozen ground regions显示文摘The Haerbin-Dalian Passenger Dedicated Line is the first high-speed railway constructed in the seasonally frozen ground regions of northeastern China. Frost heave diseases occurred in the first winter of its operation(between October 2012 and January 2013), and frost heave was observed mainly in the roadbed fills that were considered not susceptible to frost heave. This paper proposes applying two special pavements — black pavement and insulation-black pavement — to improve the thermal regime of the roadbed. Three numerical models of the roadbed temperature field were built based on the field conditions of the Changchun section(D3K692+840 to D3K692+860). The results show that:(1) Compared with cement pavement, black pavement and insulation-black pavement could reduce the freezing index at the roadbed surface by 37% and 64%, respectively, which could influence the maximum frozen depth;(2) the maximum frozen depths under the black pavement and insulation-black pavement were respectively 1.3–1.4 m and 1 m. Compared with cement pavement, they could reduce the maximum frozen depth by 0.4 m and 0.7–0.8 m, respectively, which would reduce the permitted amount of frost heave by 4 mm and 7–8 mm, which would meet the deformation limit established by the Code for Design on Special Subgrade of Railway;(3) the freezing periods of the black pavement and the insulation-black pavement were, respectively, approximately four months and two months. Compared with cement pavement, they could reduce the freezing period by approximately 19 days and 40 days, respectively, and delay the initial freezing time by 9 days and 18 days; and(4) compared with cement pavement, black pavement and black-insulation pavement could reduce the frozen areas of roadbeds in the cold season, which suggests that these two special pavements could provide better thermal stability for roadbeds. | Chang Yuan FuJun Niu QiHao Yu XinBin Wang Lei Guo YanHui You | 2015 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2015,7,4: | 5
Distribution and speciation of mercury in the Hongfeng Reservoir,Guizhou Province, China显示文摘The water, pore water, sediment, and fish samples were collected from the Hongfeng Reservoir in No- vember 2003 and February 2004 in accordance with trace metal protocols. The average concentrations of total mer- cury (THg), dissolved mercury (DHg), reactive mercury, dissolved gaseous mercury, total methylmercury, and dis- solved methylmercury in the water columns were 8.00, 5.70, 0.63, 0.05, 0.16, and 0.07 ng/L, respectively. THg and DHg in the water columns, THg in pore water and THg in lake sediments of the Hongfeng Reservoir showed the level of mercury in the Hongfeng Reservoir was higher than in other natural waters in the world due to the loading of a lot of waste water with relatively high concentrations of mercury, whereas methylmercury concentrations in fish (wet weight) varied from 1.73–51.00 ng/g, much lower than in most remote lakes and reservoirs reported in northern Europe and North America. Methylmercury distributions in pore water and sediments showed methylation oc- curred mainly in the upper several centimeters of sediment cores in the Hongfeng Reservoir. The concentrations of dissolved organic carbon, total suspended particles, total Hg, and methylmercury were higher at Houwu than those at Daba in November 2003. It is suggested that other pollutants such as N and P from fishing farm and other waste water at Houwu, which resulted in deterioration of water quality, affected the concentrations and distributions of mercury species in the reservoir. | HE Tianrong FENG Xinbin GUO Yanna QIU Guangle YAN Haiyu MENG Bo | 2008 | Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2008,27,1: | 5
Effect of cobalt and its adding sequence on the catalytic performance of MoO_3/Al_2O_3 toward sulfur-resistant methanation显示文摘The effect of promoter cobalt and the sequences of adding cobalt and molybdenum precursors on the performance of sulfur-resistant methanation were investigated. All these samples were prepared by impregnation method and characterized by N2-adsorption, X-ray diffraction(XRD), temperature-programmed reduction(TPR) and laser Raman spectroscopy(LRS). The conversions of CO for Mo-Co/Al, Co-Mo/Al and CoMo/Al catalysts were 59.7%, 54.3% and 53.9%, respectively. Among these catalysts, the Mo-Co/Al catalyst prepared stepwisely by impregnating Mo precursor firstly showed the best catalytic performance. Meanwhile, the conversions of CO were 48.9% for Mo/Al catalyst and 10.5% for Co/Al catalyst. The addition of cobalt species could improve the catalytic activity of Mo/Al catalyst. The N2-adsorption results showed that Co-Mo/Al catalyst had the smallest specific surface area among these catalysts. CoMoO4species in CoMo/Al catalyst were detected with XRD, TPR and LRS. Moreover, crystal MoS2which was reported to be less active than amorphous MoS2was found in both Co-Mo/Al and CoMo/Al catalysts. Mo-Co/Al catalyst showed the best catalytic performance as it had an appropriate surface structure, i.e., no crystal MoS2and very little CoMoO4species. | Baowei Wang Yuqin Yao Minhong Jiang Zhenhua Li Xinbin Ma Shaodong Qin Qi Sun | 2014 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2014,23,1: | 5
RuCl_3 anchored onto post-synthetic modification MIL-101(Cr)-NH_2 as heterogeneous catalyst for hydrogenation of CO_2 to formic acid显示文摘A series of efficient ruthenium chloride (RuCl_3)-anchored MOF catalysts, such as RuCl_3@MIL-101 (Cr)-Sal,and RuCl_3@MIL-101 (Cr)-DPPB, have been successfully synthesized by post-synthetic modification (PSM)of the terminal amino of MIL-101(Cr)-NH_2 with salicylaldehyde, 2-diphenylphosphinobenzaldehyde (DPPBde) and anchoring of Ru (Ⅲ) ions. The stronger coordination electron donor interaction between Ru (Ⅲ) ions and chelating groups in the RuCl_3@MIL-101 (Cr)-DPPB enhances its catalytic performance for CO_2 hydrogenation to formic acid. The turnover number (TON) of formic acid was up to 831 in reaction time of 2 h with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and water (H_2O) as mixed solvent, trimethylamine (Et_3N) as organic base, and PPh_3 as electronic additive. | Shengping Wang Shihui Hou Chao Wu Yujun Zhao Xinbin Ma | 2019 | Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,2: | 5
Interface tuning of Cu+/CuO by zirconia for dimethyl oxalate hydrogenation to ethylene glycol over Cu/SiO2 catalyst显示文摘An efficient ZrO2-doped Cu/SiO2 catalyst was fabricated through hydrolysis precipitation method(HP)and used to produce ethylene glycol(EG)through dimethyl oxalate(DMO)hydrogenation. The states for zirconia on copper catalyst and roles in DMO hydrogenation were investigated through various characterization tools, including N2 physical adsorption,XRD,H2-TPR,Methyl glycolate-TPD-MS,XPS,XAES as well.Compared with common ammonia evaporation and co-precipitation methods used in catalyst preparation, this HP method is found to effectively suppress the agglomeration and further size growth of copper nanoparticles by enhancing the interactions between copper and zirconia species.More importantly, uniform distribution of ZrO2 dopant is achieved due to the pseudo-homogeneous reactions in the mixing step of catalyst preparation.A proper amount of zirconium dopant helps achieve the desirable proportion of Cu+/(Cu++CuO)for surface copper species, especially promotes the production of Cu+species originated from Cu-ZrO2 species at the interface of copper and zirconia particles. In comparison with Cu+species formed from copper phyllosilicates reduction, the Cu+sites derived from Cu-ZrO2 species show higher adsorption ability of MG,an important intermediate species in ethylene glycol production. These adsorbed MG molecules further react with atomic hydrogen shifted from adjacent metallic copper surface, leading to a higher catalytic behavior. For the EG production via DMO hydrogenation, the turnover frequency(TOF)normalized by CuO species on CuZr/SiO2 catalyst is 1.8 times than that of traditional Cu/SiO2 counterpart.Due to the enhanced synergy effect between Cu+and Cuo active sites,a lower activation energy of ester hydrogenation on this ZrO2-doped Cu/SiO2 catalyst is believed to be responsible for the significant improvement. | Yujun Zhao Huanhuan Zhang Yuxi Xu Shengnian Wang Yan Xu Shengping Wang Xinbin Ma | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,10: | 5
Failure Mechanism and Stability Analysis of an Active Landslide in the Xiangjiaba Reservoir Area,Southwest China显示文摘Dam construction for hydropower development is a very important subject all around the world, especially in developing countries due to energy crises. Filling of reservoir lakes may trigger or reactivate landslides in reservoir area. Active landslides in populated districts in the Xiangjiaba Reservoir area have become a striking problem for residents, local government and construction engineers. The key objective of this study is to analyze the role of reservoir filling and fluctuation in the activation/reactivation of the landslide as well as the mechanism of landslide from microstructures of pre-sheared slip surface. A large active landslide with a total volume of 1.25 Mm^3 at the left margin of Jinsha River in Pingshan County of Sichuan Province, Southwest China, was selected as a case study. Field investigation, field monitoring and laboratory tests were carried out to find out the failure mechanism and the stability of the active landslide. The shear strength test and stability analysis confirm that the water level fluctuations have an adverse effect on slope stability. It is obvious from microstructure analysis that the clay minerals contribute to down-slope movement at micro-scale as well as presence of expansive minerals(e.g., montmorillonite) decreases the strength of soil due to water level rise. | Javed Iqbal Fuchu Dai Min Hong Xinbin Tu Qizhi Xie | 2018 | Journal of Earth Science2018,29,3: | 4
Annual Time-series Analyses of Total Gaseous Mercury Measurement and its Impact Factors on the Gongga Mountains in the Southeastern Fringe of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Long-term monitoring programs for measurement of atmospheric mercury concentrations are presently recognized as powerful tools for local, regional and global studies of atmospheric long-range transport processes, and they could also provide valuable information about the impact of emission controls on the global budget of atmospheric mercury, their observance and an insight into the global mercury cycle. China is believed to be an increasing atmospheric mercury emission source. However, only a few measurements of mercury,to our knowledge, have been done in ambient air over China. The highly-time resolved atmospheric mercury concen-trations have been measured at Moxi Base Station (102°72′E 29°92′N,1640 m asl) of the Gongga Alpine Ecosystem Observation and Experiment Station of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) from May 2005 to June 2006 by using a set of Automatic Atmospheric Mercury Speciation Analyzers (Tekran 2537A). Measurements were carried out with a time resolution of every 15 minutes. The overall average total gaseous mercury (TGM) covering the measurement periods was 4±1.38 ng·m-3 (N=57310),which is higher than the global background level of approximately 1.5~2.0 ng·m-3. The measurements in all seasons showed a similar diurnal change pattern with a high concentration during daytime relative to nighttime and maximum concentration near solar noon and minimum concentration immediately before sunrise. The presence of diurnal TGM peaks during spring and summer was found earlier than that during autumn and winter. When divided seasonally,it was found that the concentrations of TGM were highest in winter with 6.13 ± 1.78 ng·m-3 and lowest in summer with 3.17 ± 0.67 ng·m-3. There were no significant differences in TGM among wind sectors during each season. Whereas Hg generally exhibited significant correlations with the parameters, such as temperature, saturated vapor pressure, precipitation, ultraviolet radiation (UV) and atmospheric pressure at the whole measurement stage, and the correlations varied seasonally. Our results suggest that the local or regional abundant geothermal activities, such as thermal spring, anthropogenic source processes and changes in meteorological conditions, regulate and affect Hg behavior in the study area. | ZHU Wanze FU Xuewu FENG Xinbin Julia Y. | 20 | Metasurface-enabled on-chip multiplexed diffractive neural networks in the visible显示文摘Replacing electrons with photons is a compelling route toward high-speed,massively parallel, and low-power artificial intelligence computing.Recently, diffractive networks composed of phase surfaces were trained to perform machine learning tasks through linear optical transformations. However, the existing architectures often comprise bulky components and, most critically, they cannot mimic the human brain for multitasking. Here,we demonstrate a multi-skilled diffractive neural network based on a metasurface device, which can perform on-chip multi-channel sensing and multitasking in the visible. The polarization multiplexing scheme of the subwavelength nanostructures is applied to construct a multi-channel classifier framework for simultaneous recognition of digital and fashionable items. The areal density of the artificial neurons can reach up to 6.25×10^(6)mm^(-2) multiplied by the number of channels. The metasurface is integrated with the mature complementary metal-oxide semiconductor imaging sensor, providing a chip-scale architecture to process information directly at physical layers for energy-efficient and ultra-fast image processing in machine vision, autonomous driving, and precision medicine. | Xuhao Luo Yueqiang Hu Xiangnian Ou Xin Li Jiajie Lai Na Liu Xinbin Cheng Anlian Pan Huigao Duan | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,7: | 4
