1Gas-water stratified flow patterns from electromagnetic tomography显示文摘Because of gravitational differentiation of multi-phase fluids,gas-water flow is usually stratified in highly inclined or horizontal gas wells.By using electrode arrays to scan flowing fluids, electromagnetic tomography can identify the flow patterns of mixed fluid from the different electrical properties of gas and water.The responses for different gas-water interface locations were calculated and then physical measurements were undertaken.We compared the results of the numerical simulation with the experimental data,and found that the response characteristics were consistent in the circumstances of uniform physical fields and stratified flows.By analyzing the signal characteristics,it is found that,with the change of the interface location,the response curves showed'steps'whose position and width were decided by the location of fluid interface.The measurement accuracy of this method depended on the vertical distance between adjacent electrodes.The results showed that computer simulation can simulate the measurement of the electromagnetic tomography accurately,so the physical experiment can be replaced.Wang Xiaoxing Wu Xiling 2009Petroleum Science2009,6,3:7
2Corrections for downhole NMR logging显示文摘Nuclear magnetic resonance logging (NMR) is an open well logging method. Drilling mud resistivity, formation resistivity and sodium ions influence its radio frequency (RF) field strength and NMR logging signals. Research on these effects can provide an important basis for NMR logging data acquisition and interpretation. Three models, water-based drilling mud-water bearing formation, water-based drilling mud-oil bearing formation, oil-based drilling mud-water bearing formation, were studied by finite element method numerical simulation. The influences of drilling mud resistivity and formation resistivity on the NMR logging tool RF field and the influences of sodium ions on the NMR logging signals were simulated numerically. On the basis of analysis, RF field correction and sodium ion correction formulae were proposed and their application range was also discussed. The results indicate that when drilling mud resistivity and formation resistivity are 0.02 Ω·m and 0.2 Ω·m respectively, the attenuation index of centric NMR logging tool is 8.9% and 9.47% respectively. The RF field of an eccentric NMR logging tool is affected mainly by formation resistivity. When formation resistivity is 0.1 Ω·m, the attenuation index is 17.5%. For centric NMR logging tools, the signals coming from sodium ions can be up to 31.8% of total signal. 4Flow pattern identification in oil wells by electromagnetic image logging显示文摘Petroleum production logging needs to determine the interpretation models first and flow pattern identification is the foundation, but traditional flow pattern identification methods have some limitations. In this paper, a new method of flow pattern identification in oil wells by electromagnetic image logging is proposed. First, the characteristics of gas-water and oil-water flow patterns in horizontal and vertical wellbores are picked up. Then, the continuous variation of the two phase flow pattern in the vertical and horizontal pipe space is discretized into continuous fluid distribution models in the pipeline section. Second, the electromagnetic flow image measurement responses of all the eight fluid distribution models are simulated and the characteristic vector of each response is analyzed in order to distinguish the fluid distribution models. Third, the time domain changes of the fluid distribution models in the pipeline section are used to identify the flow pattern. Finally, flow simulation experiments using electromagnetic flow image logging are operated and the experimental and simulated data are compared. 6Simulation Experiments in Electromagnetic Tomography Well Logging in Two-phase Flow显示文摘Electromagnetic Computer Tomography (ECT) is a method to probe the interior of an inhomogeneous medium via surface measurement in a non-linear way. Due to the great differences in conductivity and permittivity between oil and water in the well, Electromagnetic Tomography Well Logging (ETWL), a new flow imaging measurement system, is proposed to describe the distribution and movement of oil/water two-phase flow in the well by scanning the detected region and applying a suitable data processing algorithm. 7The antiestrogen-like activity and reproductive toxicity of 2,6-DCBQ on female zebrafish upon sub-chronic exposure显示文摘2,6-Dichloro-1,4-benzoquinone(2,6-DCBQ), an emerging water disinfection by-product, is widely detected in water resources. However, its potential effects on the reproductive system are largely unknown. Here, we investigated the long-term effects of 2,6-DCBQ on gonadal development by exposing zebrafish from 15 to 180 days postfertilization(dpf). Following exposure to 2,6-DCBQ(20 and 100 μg/L), female-specific effects including delayed puberty onset, retarded ovarian growth and breakdown of the zona radiata were observed, resulting in subfertility in adult females. Adverse effects in folliculogenesis disappeared two months after cessation of 2,6-DCBQ administration. In contrast, no adverse impacts were noted in male testes. The effects on females were associated with significant reduction in 17 β-estradiol(E2) level, suggesting a role for 2,6-DCBQ in anti-estrogenic activity. E2 level change in blood was further supported by dysregulated expression of genes( cyp19a1a, fshb, kiss3, esr2b, vtg1, and vtg3) related to the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonad-liver(HPGL) axis. 8Chromosome-level genome assemblies of five Prunus species and genome-wide association studies for key agronomic traits in peach显示文摘Prunus species include many important perennial fruit crops,such as peach,plum,apricot,and related wild species.Here,we report de novo genome assemblies for five species,including the cultivated species peach(Prunus persica),plum(Prunus salicina),and apricot(Prunus armeniaca),and the wild peach species Tibetan peach(Prunus mira)and Chinese wild peach(Prunus davidiana).The genomes ranged from 240 to 276 Mb in size,with contig N50 values of 2.27−8.30Mb and 25,333−27,826 protein-coding gene models.As the phylogenetic tree shows,plum diverged from its common ancestor with peach,wild peach species,and apricot~7 million years ago(MYA).We analyzed whole-genome resequencing data of 417 peach accessions,called 3,749,618 high-quality SNPs,577,154 small indels,31,800 deletions,duplications,and inversions,and 32,338 insertions,and performed a structural variant-based genome-wide association study(GWAS)of key agricultural traits.From our GWAS data,we identified a locus associated with a fruit shape corresponding to the OVATE transcription factor,where a large inversion event correlates with higher OVATE expression in flat-shaped accessions.Furthermore,a GWAS revealed a NAC transcription factor associated with fruit developmental timing that is linked to a tandem repeat variant and elevated NAC expression in early-ripening accessions.We also identified a locus encoding microRNA172d,where insertion of a transposable element into its promoter was found in double-flower accessions.Thus,our efforts have suggested roles for OVATE,a NAC transcription factor,and microRNA172d in fruit shape,fruit development period,and floral morphology,respectively,that can be connected to traits in other crops,thereby demonstrating the importance of parallel evolution in the diversification of several commercially important domesticated species.In general,these genomic resources will facilitate functional genomics,evolutionary research,and agronomic improvement of these five and other Prunus species.We believe that structural variant-based GWASs can also be used in other plants,animal species,and humans and be combined with deep sequencing GWASs to precisely identify candidate genes and genetic architecture components.Qiuping Tan Sen Li Yuzheng Zhang Min Chen Binbin Wen Shan Jiang Xiude Chen Xiling Fu Dongmei Li Hongyu Wu Yong Wang Wei Xiao Ling Li 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:1
9Experimental study of gas-water elongated bubble flow during production logging显示文摘In order to improve the interpretation of production log data on gas-water elongated bubble(EB) flow in horizontal wells,a multi-phase flow simulation device was set up to conduct a series of measurement experiments using air and tap water as test media,which were measured using a real production logging tool(PLT) string at different deviations and in different mixed flow state s.By understanding the characteristics and mechanisms of gas-water EB flow in transparent experimental boreholes during production logging,combined with an analysis of the production log response characteristics and experimental production logging flow pattern maps,a method for flow pattern identification relying on log responses and a drift-flux model wer e proposed for gas-water EB flow.This mo del,built upon experimental data of EB flow,reveals physical mechanisms of gas-water EB flow during measurement processing.Th e coefficients it contains are the specific values under experimental conditions and with the PLT string used in our experiments.These coefficients also reveal the interference with original downhole flow patterns by the PLT string.Due to the representativeness that our simulated flow experiments and PLT string possess,the model coefficients can be applied as e mpirical values of logging interpretation model parameters directly to real production logging data interpretation,when the measurement circumstances and PLT strings are similar.Lu Jing Wu Xiling 2011Petroleum Science2011,8,2:1

13Operando monitoring of dendrite formation in lithium metal batteries via ultrasensitive tilted fiber Bragg grating sensors显示文摘Lithium(Li)dendrite growth significantly deteriorates the performance and shortens the operation life of lithium metal batteries.Capturing the intricate dynamics of surface localized and rapid mass transport at the electrolyte–electrode interface of lithium metal is essential for the understanding of the dendrite growth process,and the evaluation of the solutions mitigating the dendrite growth issue.Here we demonstrate an approach based on an ultrasensitive tilted fiber Bragg grating(TFBG)sensor which is inserted close to the electrode surface in a working lithium metal battery,without disturbing its operation.Thanks to the superfine optical resonances of the TFBG,in situ and rapid monitoring of mass transport kinetics and lithium dendrite growth at the nanoscale interface of lithium anodes have been achieved.Reliable correlations between the performance of different natural/artificial solid electrolyte interphases(SEIs)and the time-resolved optical responses have been observed and quantified,enabling us to link the nanoscale ion and SEI behavior with the macroscopic battery performance.This new operando tool will provide additional capabilities for parametrization of the batteries’electrochemistry and help identify the optimal interphases of lithium metal batteries to enhance battery performance and its safety.Xile Han Hai Zhong Kaiwei Li Xiaobin Xue Wen Wu Nan Hu Xihong Lu Jiaqiang Huang Gaozhi Xiao Yaohua Mai Tuan Guo 2024Light(Science & Applications)2024,13,1:0
