| 2 | Precise modeling of arc tooth face-gear with transition curve显示文摘A fabrication method is adopted for which an imaginary gear simultaneously realizes conjugated meshing with an arc tooth cylindrical gear and an arc tooth face-gear.The cutter fllet and tooth crest edge form the tooth root fllet of the gear,and the linear tooth surface equation of the imaginary gear and the position vector of the curvature center of the cutter fllet are constructed with certain cutter inclination to deduce a working arc tooth surface equation.The tooth root fllet equation of the arc tooth face-gear is derived from the meshing geometry and kinematics.A numerically controlled machining model of the arc tooth face-gear is established through the transformation of adjustment parameters from the cutter-tilt milling machine to a common multi-axis NC machine.Motion parameters of each movement axis of the NC machine are acquired.A processing example is presented to verify the precision of the fabrication method in processing the arc tooth face-gear.The method provides a theoretical and tentative basis for the analysis of tooth surface contact stress,tooth root bending stress and dynamics.A hobbing test is conducted to demonstrate the good meshing condition of the arc tooth face-gear pair. | Cui Yanmei Fang Zongde Su Jinzhan Feng Xianzhang Peng Xianlong | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5: | 9 |
| 3 | PM_(2.5)and water-soluble inorganic ion concentrations decreased faster in urban than rural areas in China显示文摘We investigated variations of PM_(2.5)and water-soluble inorganic ions chemical characteristics at nine urban and rural sites in China using ground-based observations.From 2015 to 2019,mean PM_(2.5)concentration across all sites decreased by 41.9μg/m~3with a decline of 46%at urban sites and 28%at rural sites,where secondary inorganic aerosol(SIAs)contributed to 21%(urban sites)and 17%(rural sites)of the decreased PM_(2.5).SIAs concentrations underwent a decline at urban locations,while sulfate(SO_(4)^(2–)),nitrate(NO_(3)^(–)),and ammonium(NH_(4)^(+))decreased by 49.5%,31.3%and 31.6%,respectively.However,only SO_(4)^(2–)decreased at rural sites,NO_(3)^(–)increased by 21%and NH_(4)^(+)decreased slightly.Those changes contributed to an overall SIAs increase in 2019.Higher molar ratios of NO_(3)^(–)to SO_(4)^(2–)and NH_(4)^(+)to SO_(4)^(2–)were observed at urban sites than rural sites,being highest in the heavily polluted days.Mean molar ratios of NH_(3)/NH_xwere higher in 2019 than 2015 at both urban and rural sites,implying increasing NH_xremained as free NH_(3).Our observations indicated a slower transition from sulfate-driven to nitrate-driven aerosol pollution and less efficient control of NO_(x)than SO_(2)related aerosol formation in rural regions than urban regions.Moreover,the common factor at urban and rural sites appears to be a combination of lower SO_(4)^(2–)levels and an increasing fraction of NO_(3)^(–)to PM_(2.5)under NH_(4)^(+)-rich conditions.Our findings imply that synchronous reduction in NO_(x)and NH_(3)emissions especially rural areas would be effective to mitigate NO_(3)^(–)-driven aerosol pollution. | Yangyang Zhang Aohan Tang Chen Wang Xin Ma Yunzhe Li Wen Xu Xiaoping Xia Aihua Zheng Wenqing Li Zengguo Fang Xiufen Zhao Xianlong Peng Yuping Zhang Jian Han Lijuan Zhang Jeffrey L.Collett Jr Xuejun Liu | 2022 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,12: | 2 |
| 4 | Effect of cyclic mechanical loading on immunoinflammatory microenvironment in biofabricating hydroxyapatite scaffold for bone regeneration显示文摘It has been proven that the mechanical microenvironment can impact the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs).However,the effect of mechanical stimuli in biofabricating hydroxyapatite scaffolds on the inflammatory response of MSCs remains unclear.This study aimed to investigate the effect of mechanical loading on the inflammatory response of MSCs seeded on scaffolds.Cyclic mechanical loading was applied to biofabricate the cell-scaffold composite for 15 min/day over 7,14,or 21 days.At the predetermined time points,culture supernatant was collected for inflammatory mediator detection,and gene expression was analyzed by qRT-PCR.The results showed that the expression of inflammatory mediators(IL1B and IL8)was downregulated(p<0.05)and the expression of ALP(p<0.01)and COL1A1(p<0.05)was upregulated under mechanical loading.The cell-scaffold composites biofabricated with or without mechanical loading were freeze-dried to prepare extracellular matrix-based scaffolds(ECM-based scaffolds).Murine macrophages were seeded on the ECM-based scaffolds to evaluate their polarization.The ECM-based scaffolds that were biofabricated with mechanical loading before freeze-drying enhanced the expression of M2 polarization-related biomarkers(Arginase 1 and Mrc1,p<0.05)of macrophages in vitro and increased bone volume/total volume ratio in vivo.Overall,these findings demonstrated that mechanical loading could dually modulate the inflammatory responses and osteogenic differentiation of MSCs.Besides,the ECM-based scaffolds that were biofabricated with mechanical loading before freeze-drying facilitated the M2 polarization of macrophages in vitro and bone regeneration in vivo.Mechanical loading may be a promising biofabrication strategy for bone biomaterials. | Penghui Zhang Xizhe Liu Peng Guo Xianlong Li Zhongyuan He Zhen Li Martin J.Stoddart Sibylle Grad Wei Tian Dafu Chen Xuenong Zou Zhiyu Zhou Shaoyu Liu | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,10: | 2 |

| 7 | Effects of Mg on C and N Metabolism of Soybean at Different Nitrogen Supplying Levels显示文摘A pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of magnesium on carbon and nitrogen metabolism of soybean at different nitrogen supplying levels. The results showed that the effects of magnesium at low nitrogen rate on N content, soluble protein, soluble sugar contents were not alike at different growth stage, although nodule dry weights raised, the yield and protein content of seeds decreased, however, the oil content was improved. The application of magnesium at medium and high nitrogen supplying levels promoted the uptake of N effectively, increased the soluble protein and soluble sugar contents, but the nodule dry weights of application magnesium at medium nitrogen supplying level decreased and the yield increased only a little despite the improved quality. | 8 | Quantitative Trait Locus Mapping of High Photosynthetic Efficiency and Biomass in Oryza longistaminata显示文摘Photosynthetic efficiency,a key trait that determines yield potential in rice,is quantitatively regulated by multiple genes.Utilization of valuable genetic resources hidden in wild rice is an effective way to improve rice photosynthesis and yield potential.In this study,152 backcross inbred lines derived from wild rice Oryza longistaminata were explored for QTL mapping of photosynthetic rate(Pn)and biomass(BM)in natural fields.Five novel QTLs for Pn and seven QTLs for BM or daily biomass(DBM)derived from O.longistaminata were identified.One of these QTLs,qPn8.1,could significantly improve Pn and was located in a 68-kb region containing only 11 candidate genes.Meanwhile,qBM1.1 and qDBM1.1 for BM and DBM on chromosome 1 were overlapped with qPn1.1 for Pn from 9311,and could affect both Pn and BM in natural fields.These QTLs identified in O.longistaminata may provide a novel alternative to explore new genes and resources for yield potentiality,highlighting the important role of wild rice in rice breeding programs. | SI Fengfeng FAN Fengfeng WEI Xiao HE Shihao LI Xianlong PENG Xiaojue LI Shaoqing | 2022 | Rice science2022,29,6: | 0 |
| 9 | Fabrication of 3D hollow acorn-shell-like PtBi intermetallics via a surfactant-free pathway for efficient ethylene glycol electrooxidation显示文摘The synthesis of atomically ordered Pt-based intermetallic electrocatalysts for the direct alcohol fuel cells generally requires the addition of surfactants or the high-temperature annealing.However,some residual surfactants on the surface of the assynthesized catalysts would prevent the exposure of catalytic active sites,the high-temperature annealing process is easy to accelerate the sintering of the metal,which both lead to the decline of electrocatalytic performance.Herein,we construct the atomically ordered bimetallic PtBi intermetallics with clean surfaces and unique three-dimensional hollow acorn-shell-like structure(3D PtBi HASL)by a simple,low-temperature,surfactant-free one-pot synthetic approach.Benefiting from the special hollow structures,the obtained 3D PtBi HASL intermetallics expose abundant accessible active sites.Moreover,the introduction of oxophilic metal Bi can enhance adsorption of OHads,thereby significantly facilitating removal of poisoned intermediates.Density functional theory(DFT)simulations further indicate that formation of the PtBi intermetallic phase with the downshift of the Pt d-band center endows 3D Pt49.4Bi50.6 HASL intermetallics with significantly attenuated COads and enhanced OHads adsorption,bringing about the boosting electrocatalytic property.The mass activity of the 3D Pt49.4Bi50.6 HASL intermetallics for ethylene glycol oxidation reaction is as high as 24.67 A·mgPt^(−1),which is 12.98 times higher than that of commercial Pt/C(1.90 A·mgPt^(−1)).This work may inspire the design of Pt-based intermetallics as high-efficiency anode electrocatalysts for fuel cell applications. | Tingting Wan Xin Huang Sichen Li Qiuyu Li Xianlong Yang Zhenjie Sun Dong Xiang Kun Wang Peng Li Manzhou Zhu | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 0 |
