1Preliminary assessment of the navigation and positioning performance of BeiDou regional navigation satellite system显示文摘BeiDou regional navigation satellite system(BDS)also called BeiDou-2 has been in full operation since December 27,2012.It consists of 14 satellites,including 5 satellites in Geostationary Orbit(GEO),5 satellites in Inclined Geosynchronous Orbit(IGSO),and 4 satellites in Medium Earth Orbit(MEO).In this paper,its basic navigation and positioning performance are evaluated preliminarily by the real data collected in Beijing,including satellite visibility,Position Dilution of Precision(PDOP)value,the precision of code and carrier phase measurements,the accuracy of single point positioning and differential positioning and ambiguity resolution(AR)performance,which are also compared with those of GPS.It is shown that the precision of BDS code and carrier phase measurements are about 33 cm and 2 mm,respectively,which are comparable to those of GPS,and the accuracy of BDS single point positioning has satisfied the design requirement.The real-time kinematic positioning is also feasible by BDS alone in the opening condition,since its fixed rate and reliability of single-epoch dual-frequency AR is comparable to those of GPS.The accuracy of BDS carrier phase differential positioning is better than 1 cm for a very short baseline of 4.2 m and 3 cm for a short baseline of 8.2 km,which is on the same level with that of GPS.For the combined BDS and GPS,the fixed rate and reliability of single-epoch AR and the positioning accuracy are improved significantly.The accuracy of BDS/GPS carrier phase differential positioning is about 35 and 20%better than that of GPS for two short baseline tests in this study.The accuracy of BDS code differential positioning is better than 2.5 m.However it is worse than that of GPS,which may result from large code multipath errors of BDS GEO satellite measurements.YANG YuanXi LI JinLong WANG AiBing XU JunYi HE HaiBo GUO HaiRong SHEN JunFei DAI Xian 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,1:125

4Contemporary crustal movement of continental China obtained by global positioning system(GPS) measurements显示文摘We obtain a unified horizontal velocity field of continental China and vicinity through measurements at 81 GPS stations provided by the National Key Infrastructure Project, Crustal Movement Observation Network of China. The velocity field delineates patterns of movements and deformation of active crustal blocks in continental China under the Eurasia-fixed reference frame. The space-based geodesy also clearly shows for the first time the horizontal movementand deformation of continental China induced by indentation of the Indian plate. 5Transmission routes of 2019-nCoV and controlsin dental practice显示文摘A novel β-coronavirus(2019-nCoV) caused severe and even fatal pneumonia explored in a seafood market of Wuhan city, Hubei province, China, and rapidly spread to other provinces of China and other countries. The 2019-nCoV was different from SARS-Co V,but shared the same host receptor the human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2). The natural host of 2019-nCoV may be the bat Rhinolophus affinis as 2019-nCoV showed 96.2% of whole-genome identity to Bat Co V Ra TG13. The person-to-person transmission routes of 2019-nCoV included direct transmission, such as cough, sneeze, droplet inhalation transmission, and contact transmission, such as the contact with oral, nasal, and eye mucous membranes. 2019-nCoV can also be transmitted through the saliva, and the fecal–oral routes may also be a potential person-to-person transmission route. The participants in dental practice expose to tremendous risk of 2019-nCoV infection due to the face-to-face communication and the exposure to saliva, blood, and other body fluids, and the handling of sharp instruments. Dental professionals play great roles in preventing the transmission of2019-nCoV. 6Compound Danshen injection improves endotoxin-induced microcirculatory disturbance in rat mesentery显示文摘AIM: To investigate the effect of compound Danshen injection on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced rat mesenteric microcirculatory dysfunctions and the underlying possible mechanism by an inverted intravital microscope and high-speed video camera system. METHODS: LPS was continuously infused through the jugular artery of male Wistar rats at the dose of 2 mg/kg per hour. Changes in mesenteric microcirculation,such as diameters of arterioles and venules,velocity of RBCs in venules,leukocyte rolling,adhesion and emigration,free radicals released from post-capillary venules,FITC- albumin leakage and mast cell degranulation,were observed through an inverted intravital microscope assisted with CCD camera and SIT camera. Meanwhile,the expression of adhesion molecules CD11b/CD18 and the production of free radical in neutrophils,and the expression of intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM-1) in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were quantified by flow cytometry (FACS) in vitro. RESULTS: The continuous infusion with LPS resulted in a number of responses in microcirculation,including a significant increase in the positive region of venulestained with Monastral blue B,rolling and adhesion of leukocytes,production of oxygen radical in venular wall,albumin efflux and enhanced mast cell degranulation in vivo,all of which,except for the leukocyte rolling,were attenuated by the treatment with compound Danshen injection. Experiments performed in vitro further revealed that the expression of CD11b/CD18 and the production of oxygen free radical in neutrophils,and the expression of ICAM-1 in HUVECs were increased by exposure to LPS,and they were attenuated by compound Danshen injection. 7Latest Progress of the Chinese Meteorological Satellite Program and Core Data Processing Technologies显示文摘In this paper,the latest progress,major achievements and future plans of Chinese meteorological satellites and the core data processing techniques are discussed.First,the latest three FengYun(FY)meteorological satellites(FY-2H,FY-3D,and FY-4A)and their primary objectives are introduced Second,the core image navigation techniques and accuracies of the FY meteorological satellites are elaborated,including the latest geostationary(FY-2/4)and polar-orbit(FY-3)satellites.Third,the radiometric calibration techniques and accuracies of reflective solar bands,thermal infrared bands,and passive microwave bands for FY meteorological satellites are discussed.It also illustrates the latest progress of real-time calibration with the onboard calibration system and validation with different methods,including the vicarious China radiance calibration site calibration,pseudo invariant calibration site calibration,deep convective clouds calibration,and lunar calibration.Fourth,recent progress of meteorological satellite data assimilation applications and quantitative science produce are summarized at length.The main progress is in meteorological satellite data assimilation by using microwave and hyper-spectral infrared sensors in global and regional numerical weather prediction models.Lastly,the latest progress in radiative transfer,absorption and scattering calculations for satellite remote sensing is summarized,and some important research using a new radiative transfer model are illustrated.Peng ZHANG Qifeng LU Xiuqing HU Songyan GU Lei YANG Min MIN Lin CHEN Na XU Ling Sun Wenguang BAI Gang MA Di XIAN 2019Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2019,36,9:26
8Report on Childhood Obesity in China (9): Sugar-sweetened Beverages Consumption and Obesity显示文摘Objective To explore the associations between sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) consumption and obesity as well as obesity-related cardiometabolic disorders among children in China. Methods A total of 6974 (boys 3558, girls 3412) children aged 6-13 years participated in the study. Each participant's height, weight, waist circumference, fasting glucose, triglycerides, total cholesterol, high- density lipoprotein cholesterol, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol were measured. The type of beverage consumption was determined using a self-administered questionnaire. Results SSBs were consumed regularly by 46.1% of the children. The prevalence [adjusted odds ratio (95% confidence internal (CI)] of obesity was 7.6% [as the reference group (ref.)], 10.1% [1.36(1.07, 1.74)], and 11.6% [1.46(1.21, 1.75)], among children who regularly drank milk, other beverages and SSBs, respectively. Regularly drinking SSBs elevated the likelihood of abdominal obesity [adjusted odds ratio (95% CI): 1.36 (1.17, 1.59)]. The prevalence [adjusted odds ratio (95% CI)] of obesity among children who regularly drank sports/caloric beverages, carbonated beverages, sweet tea, and plant protein beverages was 16.8% [2.00(1.31, 3.07)], 12.7% [1.52(1.23, 1.88)], 11.5% [1.52(1.18, 1.95)], and 10.4% [1.41(1.03, 1.94)], respectively, which was higher than that of regular milk drinkers [7.6 % (ref.)]. The prevalence [adjusted odds ratio (95% CI)] of abdominal obesity among children who regularly drank sweet tea, fruit/vegetable juices, and carbonated beverages was 17.7% [1.55(1.26, 1.90)], 16.2% [1.36(1.09, 1.70)], and 15.3% [1.24(1.03, 1.50)], respectively, which was much higher than that of regular milk drinkers [12.8% (ref.)]. Conclusions Regular SSB consumption was positively related to obesity and abdominal obesity. 9Multiple imaging techniques in the diagnosis of ampullary carcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND:Ampullary carcinoma is a neoplasia with a good prognosis compared to pancreatic cancer. But it is difficult to early diagnose because it lacks clear clinical symptoms.This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of abdominal ultrasonography(US),enhanced computed tomography(CT),magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography(MRCP)and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP)in detecting ampullary carcinoma. METHODS:Forty-one patients with ampullary carcinoma who had been confirmed pathologically among the inpatients at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine from February 2003 to March 2007 were analyzed retrospectively.The accuracy of US,CT,MRCP and ERCP were compared in the diagnosis of ampullary carcinoma. RESULTS:The accurate rate for detection of ampullary carcinoma with US was 26.83%.The accuracy of CT and ERCP in detection of ampullary tumors was 84.62%and 100%,respectively,which were significantly higher than that of US(P<0.05).The accuracy of MRCP in detection of ampullary tumors was similar to that of US in spite of visualization of obstruction and dilatation of the pancreaticobiliary duct with MRCP. 10MAFLD vs.NAFLD:shared features and potential changes in epidemiology,pathophysiology,diagnosis,and pharmacotherapy显示文摘Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is the most common chronic liver disease worldwide,placing an increasing burden on human health.NAFLD is a complex multifactorial disease involving genetic,metabolic,and environmental factors.It is closely associated with metabolic syndrome,obesity,and type 2 diabetes,of which insulin resistance is the main pathophysiological mechanism.Over the past few decades,investigation of the pathogenesis,diagnosis,and treatments has revealed different aspects of NAFLD,challenging the accuracy of definition and therapeutic strategy for the clinical practice.Recently,experts reach a consensus that NAFLD does not reflect the current knowledge,and metabolic(dysfunction)associated fatty liver disease(MAFLD)is suggested as a more appropriate term.The new definition puts increased emphasis on the important role of metabolic dysfunction in it.Herein,the shared features and potential changes in epidemiology,pathophysiology,diagnosis,and pharmacotherapy of the newly defined MAFLD,as compared with the formerly defined NAFLD,are reviewed for updating our understanding.Ying-Xin Xian Jian-Ping Weng Fen Xu 2021Chinese Medical Journal2021,,1:18
11The efficiency of long-term straw return to sequester organic carbon in Northeast China's cropland显示文摘Black soil is one of the most precious soil resources on earth because it has abundant carbon stocks and a relatively high production capacity. However, decreasing organic matter after land reclamation, and the effects of long-term inputs of organic carbon have made it less fertile black soil in Northeast China. Straw return could be an effective method for improving soil organic carbon(SOC) sequestration in black soils. The objective of this study was to evaluate whether straw return effectively increases SOC sequestration. Long-term field experiments were conducted at three sites in Northeast China with varying latitudes and SOC densities. Study plots were subjected to three treatments: no fertilization(CK); inorganic fertilization(NPK); and NPK plus straw return(NPKS). The results showed that the SOC stocks resulting from NPKS treatment were 4.0 and 5.7% higher than those from NPK treatment at two sites, but straw return did not significantly affect the SOC stocks at the third site. Furthermore, at higher SOC densities, the NPKS treatment resulted in significantly higher soil carbon sequestration rates(CSR) than the NPK treatment. The equilibrium value of the CSR for the NPKS treatment equated to cultivation times of 17, 11, and 8 years at the different sites. Straw return did not significantly increase the SOC stocks in regions with low SOC densities, but did enhance the C pool in regions with high SOC densities. These results show that there is strong regional variation in the effects of straw return on the SOC stocks in black soil in Northeast China. 12Effects of warming and clipping on plant and soil properties of an alpine meadow in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, China显示文摘Climate warming and livestock grazing are known to have great influences on alpine ecosystems like those of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(QTP) in China. However, it is lacking of studies on the effects of warming and grazing on plant and soil properties in these alpine ecosystems. In this study, we reported the related research from manipulative experiment in 2010–2012 in the QTP. The aim of this study was to investigate the individual and combined effects of warming and clipping on plant and soil properties in the alpine meadow ecosystem. Infrared radiators were used to simulate climate warming starting in July 2010, while clipping was performed once in October 2011 to simulate the local livestock grazing. The experiment was designed as a randomized block consisting of five replications and four treatments: control(CK), warming(W), clipping(C) and warming+clipping combination(WC). The plant and soil properties were investigated in the growing season of the alpine meadow in 2012. The results showed that W and WC treatments significantly decreased relative humidity at 20-cm height above ground as well as significantly increases air temperature at the same height, surface temperature, and soil temperature at the depth of 0–30 cm. However, the C treatment did not significantly decrease soil moisture and soil temperature at the depth of 0–60 cm. Relative to CK, vegetation height and species number increased significantly in W and WC treatment, respectively, while vegetation aboveground biomass decreased significantly in C treatment in the early growing season. However, vegetation cover, species diversity, belowground biomass and soil properties at the depth of 0–30 cm did not differ significantly in W, C and WC treatments. Soil moisture increased at the depth of 40–100 cm in W and WC treatments, while belowground biomass, soil activated carbon, organic carbon and total nitrogen increased in the 30–50 cm soil layer in W, C and WC treatments. Although the initial responses of plant and soil properties to experimental warming and clipping were slow and weak, the drought induced by the downward shift of soil moisture in the upper soil layers may induce plant belowground biomass to transfer to the deeper soil layers. This movement would modify the distributions of soil activated carbon, organic carbon and total nitrogen. 13Molecular mechanisms of apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma cells induced by ethanol extracts of Solanum lyratum Thumb through the mitochondrial pathway显示文摘AIM To explore the induction effects and mechanism of Solanum lyratum Thumb(ST) on human hepatocellularcarcinoma SMMC-7721 cells through the mitochondrial pathway.METHODS The experiments were conducted on three groups: an experimental group (with ST ethanol extracts' concentration being 2.5, 5 and 10 mg/L), a negative control group (with only nutrient solution, 0 mg/L ST ethanol extracts), and a positive control group (2.5 mg/L DDP). The inhibition rate of cell proliferation was checked by using the methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium method, and cell apoptosis was tested by TUNEL method. Furthermore, RT-PCR was used to examine m RNA expression of Fas, Fas L, caspase-8, caspase-3, p53 and Bcl-2 genes.RESULTS Compared with the negative control group, the inhibition and apoptosis rates of the experimental group with different concentrations of ST extracts on human hepatocellular carcinoma SMMC-7721 cells significantly increased(P<0.05). Besides, the m RNA expression of Fas L and Bcl-2 significantly decreased(P<0.05) while the m RNA expression of Fas, caspase-8, caspase-3 and p53 increased significantly. 15A Survey of Image Synthesis and Editing with Generative Adversarial Networks显示文摘This paper presents a survey of image synthesis and editing with Generative Adversarial Networks(GANs). GANs consist of two deep networks, a generator and a discriminator, which are trained in a competitive way. 16Fengyun Meteorological Satellite Products for Earth System Science Applications显示文摘Following the progress of satellite data assimilation in the 1990s, the combination of meteorological satellites and numerical models has changed the way scientists understand the earth. With the evolution of numerical weather prediction models and earth system models, meteorological satellites will play a more important role in earth sciences in the future. As part of the space-based infrastructure, the Fengyun (FY) meteorological satellites have contributed to earth science sustainability studies through an open data policy and stable data quality since the first launch of the FY-1A satellite in 1988. The capability of earth system monitoring was greatly enhanced after the second-generation polar orbiting FY-3 satellites and geostationary orbiting FY-4 satellites were developed. Meanwhile, the quality of the products generated from the FY-3 and FY-4 satellites is comparable to the well-known MODIS products. FY satellite data has been utilized broadly in weather forecasting, climate and climate change investigations, environmental disaster monitoring, etc. This article reviews the instruments mounted on the FY satellites. Sensor-dependent level 1 products (radiance data) and inversion algorithm-dependent level 2 products (geophysical parameters) are introduced. As an example, some typical geophysical parameters, such as wildfires, lightning, vegetation indices, aerosol products, soil moisture, and precipitation estimation have been demonstrated and validated by in-situ observations and other well-known satellite products. To help users access the FY products, a set of data sharing systems has been developed and operated. 17Genomic Survey and Expression Profiling of the MYB Gene Family in Watermelon显示文摘Myeloblastosis(MYB)proteins constitute one of the largest transcription factor(TF)families in plants.They are functionally diverse in regulating plant development,metabolism,and multiple stress responses.However,the function of watermelon MYB proteins remains elusive to date.Here,a genome-wide identification of watermelon MYB TFs was performed by bioinformatics analysis.A total of 162 MYB genes were identified from watermelon(Cla MYB).A comprehensive overview of the Cla MYB genes was undertaken,including the gene structures,chromosomal distribution,gene duplication,conserved protein motif,and phylogenetic relationship.According to the analyses,the watermelon MYB genes were categorized into three groups(R1R2R3-MYB,R2R3-MYB,and MYB-related).Amino acid alignments for all MYB motifs of Cla MYBs demonstrated high conservation.Investigation of their chromosomal localization revealed that these Cla MYB genes distributed across the 11watermelon chromosomes.Gene duplication analyses showed that tandem duplication events contributed predominantly to the expansion of the MYB gene family in the watermelon genome.Phylogenetic comparison of the Cla MYB proteins with Arabidopsis MYB proteins revealed that watermelon MYB proteins underwent a more diverse evolution after divergence from Arabidopsis.Some watermelon MYBs were found to cluster into the functional clades of Arabidopsis MYB proteins.Expression analysis under different stress conditions identified a group of watermelon MYB proteins implicated in the plant stress responses.The comprehensive investigation of watermelon MYB genes in this study provides a useful reference for future cloning and functional analysis of watermelon MYB proteins.XU Qing HE Jie DONG Jianhui HOU Xiaojin ZHANG Xian 2018Horticultural Plant Journal2018,4,1:14

19Roles of sphincter of Oddi motility and serum vasoactive intestinal peptide,gastrin and cholecystokinin octapeptide显示文摘AIM:To investigate roles of sphincter of Oddi(SO)motility played in pigment gallbladder stone formation in model of guinea pigs.METHODS:Thirty-four adult male Hartley guinea pigs were divided randomly into two groups:the control group and pigment stone group.The pigment stone group was divided into 4 subgroups with 6 guinea pigs each according to time of sacrifice,and were fed a pigment lithogenic diet and sacrificed after 3,6,9 and 12wk.SO manometry and recording of myoelectric activity of the guinea pigs were obtained by multifunctional physiograph at each stage.Serum vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP),gastrin and cholecystokinin octapeptide (CCK-8)were detected at each stage in the process of pigment gallbladder stone formation by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS:The incidence of pigment gallstone formation was 0%,0%,16.7%and 66.7%in the 3-,6-,9-and 12-wk group,respectively.The frequency of myoelectric activity decreased in the 3-wk group.The amplitude of myoelectric activity had a tendency to decrease but not significantly.The frequency of the SO decreased significantly in the 9-wk group.The SO basal pressure and common bile duct pressure increased in the 12-wk group(25.19±7.77 mmHg vs 40.56±11.81 mmHg,22.35±7.60 mmHg vs 38.51±11.57mmHg,P<0.05).Serum VIP was significantly elevated in the 6-and 12-wk groups and serum CCK-8 was decreased significantly in the 12-wk group.CONCLUSION:Pigment gallstone-causing diet may induce SO dysfunction.The tension of the SO increased.The disturbance in SO motility may play a role in pigment gallstone formation,and changes in serum VIP and CCK-8 may be important causes of SO dysfunction.Zhen-Hai Zhang Cheng-Kun Qin Shuo-Dong Wu Jian Xu Xian-Ping Cui Zhi-Yi Wang Guo-Zhe Xian 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,16:12
20Warming effects on plant biomass allocation and correlations with the soil environment in an alpine meadow,China显示文摘Alpine meadow ecosystem is fragile and highly sensitive to climate change.An understanding of the allocation of above-and below-ground plant biomass and correlations with environmental factors in alpine meadow ecosystem can result in better protection and effective utilization of alpine meadow vegetation.We chose an alpine meadow in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau of China as the study area and designed experimental warming plots using a randomized block experimental design.We used single-tube infrared radiators as warming devices,established the warming treatments,and measured plant above- (AGB) and below-ground biomass (BGB) during the growing seasons (May to September) in 2012 and 2013.We determined the allocation of biomass and the relationship between biomass and soil environment under the warming treatment.Biomass indices including above-ground biomass,below-ground biomass and the ratio of root to shoot (R/S) ,and soil factors including soil moisture and soil temperature at different depths were measured.The results showed that (1) BGB of the alpine meadow had the most significant allometric correlation with its AGB (y=298.7x~ (0.44) ,P<0.001) ,but the relationship decreased under warming treatment and the determination coefficient of the functional equation was 0.102 which was less than that of 0.188 of the unwarming treatment (control) ; (2) BGB increased,especially in the deeper soil layers under warming treatment (P>0.05) .At 0–10 cm soil depth,the percentages of BGB under warming treatment were smaller than those of the control treatment with the decreases being 8.52% and 8.23% in 2012 and 2013,respectively.However,the BGB increased 2.13% and 2.06% in 2012 and 2013,respectively,at 10–50 cm soil depths; (3) BGB had significant positive correlations with soil moisture at 100 cm depth and with soil temperature at 20–100 cm depths (P<0.05) ,but the mean correlation coefficient of soil temperature was 0.354,greater than the 0.245 of soil moisture.R/S ratio had a significant negative correlation with soil temperature at 20 cm depth (P<0.05) .The warmer soil temperatures in shallow layers increased the biomass allocation to above-ground plant parts,which leading to the increase in AGB;whereas the enhanced thawing of frozen soil in deep layers causing by warming treatment produced more moisture that affected plant biomass allocation.XU Manhou LIU Min XUE Xian ZHAI Datong 2016Journal of Arid Land2016,8,5:12
