Blockchain which is a decentralised transaction and data management technology, has attracted increasing interests from both academic and industrial aspects since 2008. However,most of the existing research and practices are focused on the blockchain itself(i.e. technical challenges and limitations) or its applications in the finance service sector(i.e.Bitcoin). This paper aims to investigate the potential of applying blockchain technology in the construction sector.Three types of blockchain-enabled applications are proposed to improve the current processes of contract management, supply chain management, and equipment leasing, respectively. | 2 | Modulating the optical and electrical properties of MAPbBr_(3) single crystals via voltage regulation engineering and application in memristors显示文摘Defect density is one of the most significant characteristics of perovskite single crystals(PSCs)that determines their optical and electrical properties,but few strategies are available to tune this property.Here,we demonstrate that voltage regulation is an efficient method to tune defect density,as well as the optical and electrical properties of PSCs.A three-step carrier transport model of MAPbBr_(3) PSCs is proposed to explore the defect regulation mechanism and carrier transport dynamics via an applied bias.Dynamic and steady-state photoluminescence measurements subsequently show that the surface defect density,average carrier lifetime,and photoluminescence intensity can be efficiently tuned by the applied bias.In particular,when the regulation voltage is 20 V(electrical poling intensity is 0.167 Vμm^(−1)),the surface defect density of MAPbBr_(3) PSCs is reduced by 24.27%,the carrier lifetime is prolonged by 32.04%,and the PL intensity is increased by 112.96%.Furthermore,a voltage-regulated MAPbBr_(3) PSC memristor device shows an adjustable multiresistance,weak ion migration effect and greatly enhanced device stability.Voltage regulation is a promising engineering technique for developing advanced perovskite optoelectronic devices. | Jun Xing Chen Zhao Yuting Zou Wenchi Kong Zhi Yu Yuwei Shan Qingfeng Dong Ding Zhou Weili Yu Chunlei Guo | 2020 | Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1: | 3 |
| 3 | Energy Efficient MAC Protocol for Wireless Full-Duplex Networks显示文摘The wireless full-duplex(FD) nodes can transmit and receive at the same time using the same frequency-band. Currently, the latest FD media access control(MAC) protocols mainly focus on how to convert the physical layer gains of FD nodes to the throughput gain of wireless FD networks, but pay little attention to the energy consumptions of FD nodes. In this paper, we propose an energy efficient FD MAC protocol. According to the values of self-interference cancellation coefficients corresponding to the nodes of each FD pair and the signal propagation attenuation, the proposed protocol can adaptively select the communication mode of the FD pair between the full-duplex and half-duplex. Also, the minimum transmit power for FD nodes can be obtained to achieve high energy efficiency. We develop an analytical model to characterize the performance of our protocol. | 4 | Concentric UCAs Based Low-Order OAM for High Capacity in Radio Vortex Wireless Communications显示文摘Due to the potential capacity-boosting for wireless communications,radio vortex wireless communication(RowComm)over orthogonal states/modes of orbital angular momentum(OAM)has been paid much attention to in recent years.A uniform circular array(UCA),as an efficient and convenient antenna structure,can transmit/receive multiple OAM beams with different OAM-modes simultaneously when the transmitter and receiver are aligned.However,for high-order OAMmodes,the OAM beams are divergent accompanied by severe attenuation.Thus,it is difficult to directly use high-order OAM-modes to achieve high capacity for RowComms.To obtain high capacity potentially offered by OAM-modes,in this paper we transform the singular UCA into the concentric UCAs,where high capacity can be achieved using multiple parallel low-order OAM-modes instead of all high-order OAM-modes,to increase the capacity of transmitter-receiver aligned Row-Comms.In particular,we study two cases:1).concentric UCAs based RowComms without co-mode interference;2).concentric UCAs based RowComms with co-mode interference.We propose a co-mode-interference-free and a co-mode-interference-contained mode-decomposition schemes to recover transmitted signals for these two cases,respectively.Additionally,we develop optimal power allocation schemes to maximize the capacity for these two cases.Numerical simulations are presented to validate and evaluate that our developed concentric UCAs based low-order RowComms can significantly increase the capacity as compared with that of singular UCA based RowComms. | Haiyue Jing Wenchi Cheng Zan Li Hailin Zhang | 2018 | Journal of Communications and Information Networks2018,3,4: | 2 |
| 5 | Quality-of-service driven power allocations for wireless full-duplex bidirectional links显示文摘Wireless full-duplex transmission has the potential to double the system throughput compared with the conventional half-duplex transmission.To achieve the maximum potential system throughput,optimal power allocation taking into account quality-of-service(QoS)is urgently needed.In this paper,we propose the QoS driven power allocation schemes for wireless full-duplex bidirectional links.By integrating information theory with the statistical QoS principle,we build two models–local transmit power related self-interference(LTPRS)model and local transmit power unrelated self-interference(LTPUS)model to analyze the wireless full-duplex transmission.For both of these two models,we derive the optimal power allocation schemes,which aim at maximizing the system throughput subject to the given delay-QoS constraint,over wireless bidirectional links with full-duplex transmission.The analyses and numerical results verify that our proposed power allocation scheme can efficiently support diverse QoS requirements over wireless bidirectional links.Our proposed fullduplex QoS driven power allocation schemes can obtain larger effective capacity compared with the conventional half-duplex transmission over wireless bidirectional links. | CHENG WenChi ZHANG HaiLin | 2014 | Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,4: | 2 |
| 6 | Approximating maximum likelihood performance reduced dimension VBLAST detection algorithm显示文摘SM (spatial multiplexing) can effectively increase the information rate in multiple input multiple output system. BLAST is the typical representation of SM, especially VBLAST, which has some simple de- tection algorithms such as ML, ZF-DFE and ML-DFE, etc. However, the existing algorithms cannot approach ML performance. This paper discusses the effect for detection performance by the correlation of channel ma- trix, proposes a new algorithm-HPML detection algorithm, which can approach ML performance with low complexity. In the new algorithm, we travel the first d layers, and use the DFE procedure for the remaining layers, then perform ML detection for all obtained signals. | 7 | Fractal Uniform Circular Arrays Based Multi-Orbital-Angular-Momentum-Mode Multiplexing Vortex Radio MIMO显示文摘A radio wave driven by Orbital angular momentum(OAM) is called a vortex radio and has a helical wavefront. The differential helical wavefronts of several vortex radios are closely related to their topological charges or mode numbers. In physics, two or more radio waves with different mode numbers are orthogonal to their azimuth angles. With the development of radio communication technologies, some researchers have been exploring the OAM-based multi-mode multiplexing(multi-OAM-mode multiplexing) technologies in order to enhance the channel spectrum efficiency(SE) of a radio communication system by using the orthogonal properties of vortex radios. After reviewing the reported researches of OAM-based radio communication, we find that some breakthroughs have been made in the combination of OAM and traditional Multi-Input-Multi-Output(MIMO). However, the existing technology is not sufficient to support OAM-based MIMO system to achieve maximum the channel SE. To maximize the spectrum efficiency of OAM-based MIMO system, we present a reused multi-OAM-mode multiplexing vortex radio(RMMVR) MIMO system, which is based on fractal uniform cir-cular arrays(UCAs). The scheme described in this study can effectively combine multiOAM-mode multiplexing with MIMO spatial multiplexing. First, we present the generation of RMMVR MIMO signals. Second, under line-of-sight(LOS) propagation conditions, we derive the channels of the RMMVR MIMO system. Third, we separate the RMMVR MIMO signals using an orthogonal separation method based on full azimuth sampling. Finally, we introduce the method for calculating the channel capacity of the RMMVR MIMO system. Theoretical analysis shows that the scheme proposed in this study is feasible. Moreover, the simulation results show that spatial and mode diversity are obtained by exploiting fractal UCAs.
