2Combination of eddy current and heat treatment for crack healing and mechanical-property improvement in magnesium alloy tube显示文摘The continuous eddy current pulse treatment(ECPT)combined with heat treatment was employed to heal the microcracks in spin formed Mg alloy tubes and improve their mechanical properties in this study.The results show that all the microcracks in different tube specimens were almost healed after different continuous ECPT schemes up to 15 cycles.The schemes with less cooling intervals exhibited better healing effect and increased the strength and elongation of Mg alloy tubes more obviously.After aging treatment,the strength improvement of the specimens with ECPT was more remarkable than that of the specimens without ECPT,and the elongation decrease of the specimens with ECPT was less evident than that of specimens without ECPT due to the segregation of RE elements on the crack surface.Besides,after solution treatment,the strength reduction and ductility improvement of the specimens with ECPT were more pronounced than that of the specimens without ECPT owing to the notable decrease of dislocation density of the specimens with ECPT.Both narrowed cracks induced by ECPT and the segregation of precipitates in the vicinity of microcrack surface during aging treatment contributed to the maximum strength in the as-spun specimens with ECPT followed by aging treatment.Wenchen Xu Chuan Yang Haiping Yu Xueze Jin Guojing Yang Debin Shan Bin Guo 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,5:1
3Hot spinning of cylindrical workpieces of TA15 titanium alloy显示文摘In order to form large-diameter thin-wall cylindrical workpieces of TA15 titanium alloy,tube hot spinning experiments of the alloy were conducted on a CNC hot spinning machine.The causes of some forming defects occuring in hot spinning,such as crack,pileup,bulge and corrugation,were analyzed and the corresponding measures were put forward to avoid spinning defects,based on which a proper process scheme of hot spinning of TA15 alloy was obtained and the large-diameter and thin-walled cylindrical workpieces were formed with good quality.The results show that spinning temperature has distinct influence on forming quality of spun workpieces.The range of spinning temperature determines the spinnability of titanium alloy and the ununiformity of temperature distribution near the deformation zone leads to the formation of bulge.The reasonable heating method is that the deforming region is heated to the optimum temperature range of 600-700 ℃,the deformed region is heated continuously and a certain length of undeformed region is preheated.With the thickness-to-diameter ratio(t/D) of spun workpiece reducing to certain value(t/D<1%),surface bulge and corrugation is rather easier to come into being,which could be controlled through restraining diameter growth and employing smaller reduction rate and lower temperature in the optimum spinning temperature range.XU Wenchen,SHAN Debin,YANG Guoping,CHEN Yu,LU Yan,and KANG Dachang School of Materials Science and Engineering,Harbin Institute of Technology,Harbin 150001,China 2007Rare Metals2007,26,S1:1

5Effect of power spinning and heat treatment on microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of duplex low-cost titanium alloy显示文摘The microstructural evolution and mechanical properties of low-cost Ti-5.5Al-1Fe-3.5Cr-3.2Zr-0.2Si al-loy during power spinning and after three types of heat-treatment routines(low-temperature anneal-ing,high-temperature annealing,solution and annealing)were systematically studied.An effective heat-treatment routine to fabricate high-strength and acceptable ductile as-spun Ti-5.5Al-1Fe-3.5Cr-3.2Zr-0.2Si alloy tubes was then proposed whereby the relationship between the mechanical performances and mi-crostructures was analyzed.The{0002}_(α)and{001}_(β)textures were formed after multi-pass power spin-ning.The as-spun LC-Ti alloy exhibited a good combination of strength and elongation after heat treat-ment at 550℃for 4 h,which was ascribed to the large plastic induced low-temperature spheroidization of deformedαphase and nanoscaleαprecipitation from deformedβphase.However,the elongation de-creased evidently when Zr2Si/TiCr2 participated at the interphase boundaries after heat treatment at 550℃for 8 h.In high-temperature annealing,the elongation changed nonlinearly owing to the precipitation of Zr2Si particles at triangular grain boundaries treated at 750℃for 1 h,and the spheroidization of the deformedα_(p)phase.Under solution and annealing conditions,lenticularαs would participate from the metastableβgrains,which contributed to the greatest strength albeit poor ductility.This study provides an effective guidance for the processing and application of the low-cost titanium alloy.Zhongze Yang Wenchen Xu Weiqing Zhang Yu Chen Debin Shan 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,5:0

7Solution-processed quantum-dot light-emitting diodes combining ultrahigh operational stability,shelf stability,and luminance显示文摘The shelf-stability issue,originating from the ZnO-induced positive aging effect,poses a significant challenge to industrializing the display technology based on solution-processed quantum-dot light-emitting diodes(QLEDs).Currently,none of the proposed solutions can simultaneously inhibit exciton quenching caused by the ZnO-based electron-transporting layer(ETL)and retain other advantages of ZnO.Here in this work,we propose a bilayer design of ETL in which a buffer layer assembled of SnO_(2) nanoparticles(NPs)suppresses the QD-ETL exciton quenching and tunes charge balance while ZnO NPs provide high electron conductivity.As a result,the bottom-emitting QLED combining capped ZnO and SnO_(2) buffer exhibit a maximum luminance over 100,000 cd m^(−2) and a T95 operational lifetime averaging 6200 h at 1000 cd m^(−2) on the premise of entirely inhibiting positive aging.Zi Ye Mengyu Chen Xingtong Chen Wenchen Ma Xiaojuan Sun Longjia Wu Xiongfeng Lin Yu Chen Song Chen 2022npj Flexible Electronics2022,6,1:0
