1A piezoelectric energy harvester based on internal resonance显示文摘A vibration-based energy harvester is essentially a resonator working in a limited frequency range.To increase the working frequency range is a challenging problem.This paper reveals a novel possibility for enhancing energy harvesting via internal resonance.An internal resonance energy harvester is proposed.The excitation is successively assumed as the Gaussian white noise,the colored noise defined by a second-order filter,the narrow-band noise,and exponentially correlated noise.The corresponding averaged root-meansquare output voltages are computed.Numerical results demonstrate that the internal resonance increases the operating bandwidth and the output voltage.Liqun Chen Wenan Jiang 2015Acta Mechanica Sinica2015,31,2:12
2A Disturbance Rejection Control Approach for Clock Synchronization in IEEE 1588 Networks显示文摘This paper is concerned with the clock synchronization problem for IEEE 1588 networks.First,the synchronization error is described as a bounded disturbance,and a linear extended state observer (LESO)is designed to estimate the lumped disturbance induced by the oscillator frequency drift and timestamps quantization errors.Then,the lumped disturbance is compensated by the proposed controller.The proposed approach has the advantage that it's able to deal with non-Gaussian disturbance induced by accumulated quantization errors.Simulations are Drovided to validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed approach.ZHANG Junhao ZHANG Wenan 2018Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2018,31,6:4
3An Efficient and Reliable Assay for Investigating the Effects of Hypoxia/Anoxia on Drosophila显示文摘Stroke is a leading cause of death worldwide. Up to one thousand potential drugs or interventions have been developed to treat stroke, out of which ~160 have gone on to clinical trials. However, none of them has been successful. New insights into the molecular and cellular mechanisms of ischemia-induced injury are needed for discovering new therapeutic targets. Recently, Drosophila has been used to uncover new hypoxia-related genes. In this study, we describe an efficient and reliable assay with a sophisticated apparatus for studying the effects of oxygen deprivation on flies. Using this assay, wild-type flies were exposed to an anoxic environment for varying lengths of time, then the cumulative death rate and mobility recovery were systematically analyzed. We found that anoxia for over one hour caused lethality. The cumulative death rate on day 5 after anoxia was linearly and positively correlatedwith the duration of anoxia, and reached 50% when the duration was 2.5 h–3 h. We also found that the mobility recovery in normoxia was slow, as the climbing ability remained largely unchanged 4 h–6 h after 2.5-h of anoxia.We suggest that 2.5 h–3 h of anoxia and 4 h–6 h of recovery before mobility analysis are appropriate for future use of the anoxia assay.Yiling Xia Wangchao Xu Shiquan Meng Nastasia K.H.Lim Wenan Wang Fu-De Huang 2018Neuroscience Bulletin2018,34,2:3

5An Improved Double r-iteration IOD Method for GEO UCTs Based on SBSS System显示文摘The purpose of initial orbit determination,especially in the case of angles-only data for observation,is to obtain an initial estimate that is close enough to the true orbit to enable subsequent precision orbit determination processing to be successful.However,the classical angles-only initial orbit determination methods cannot deal with the observation data whose Earth-central angle is larger than 360°.In this paper,an improved double r-iteration initial orbit determination method to deal with the above case is presented to monitor geosynchronous Earth orbit objects for a spacebased surveillance system.Simulation results indicate that the improved double r-iteration method is feasible,and the accuracy of the obtained initial orbit meets the requirements of re-acquiring the object.TANG Yi ZHONG Wenan LI Shuang SHOU Junming 2014空间科学学报2014,34,6:2

7Searching for critical slip surfaces of slopes using stress fields by numerical manifold method显示文摘This study first reviews the numerical manifold method(NMM)which possesses some advantages over the traditional limit equilibrium methods(LEMs)in calculating the factors of safety(Fs)of the slopes.Then,with regard to a trial slip surface(TSS),associated stress fields reproduced by NMM as well as the enhanced limit equilibrium method are combined to compute Fs.In order to search for the potential critical slip surface(CSS),the MAX-MIN ant colony optimization algorithm(MMACOA),one of the best performing algorithms for some optimization problems,is adopted.Procedures to obtain Fs in conjunction with the potential CSS are described.Finally,the proposed numerical model and traditional methods are compared with stability analysis of three typical slopes.The numerical results show that Fs and CSSs of the slopes can be accurately calculated with the proposed model.Yongtao Yang Wenan Wu Hong Zheng 2020Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,6:2
