| 1 | The Qitai radio telescope显示文摘This study presents a general outline of the Qitai radio telescope(QTT)project.Qitai,the site of the telescope,is a county of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China,located in the east Tianshan Mountains at an elevation of about 1800 m.The QTT is a fully steerable,Gregorian-type telescope with a standard parabolic main reflector of 110 m diameter.The QTT has adopted an umbrella support,homology-symmetric lightweight design.The main reflector is active so that the deformation caused by gravity can be corrected.The structural design aims to ultimately allow high-sensitivity observations from 150 MHz up to115 GHz.To satisfy the requirements for early scientific goals,the QTTwill be equipped with ultra-wideband receivers and large field-of-view multi-beam receivers.A multi-function signal-processing system based on RFSo C and GPU processor chips will be developed.These will enable the QTT to operate in pulsar,spectral line,continuum and Very Long Baseline Interferometer(VLBI)observing modes.Electromagnetic compatibility(EMC)and radio frequency interference(RFI)control techniques are adopted throughout the system design.The QTT will form a world-class observational platform for the detection of lowfrequency(nano Hertz)gravitational waves through pulsar timing array(PTA)techniques,pulsar surveys,the discovery of binary black-hole systems,and exploring dark matter and the origin of life in the universe.The QTT will also play an important role in improving the Chinese and international VLBI networks,allowing high-sensitivity and high-resolution observations of the nuclei of distant galaxies and gravitational lensing systems.Deep astrometric observations will also contribute to improving the accuracy of the celestial reference frame.Potentially,the QTT will be able to support future space activities such as planetary exploration in the solar system and to contribute to the search for extraterrestrial intelligence. | Na Wang Qian Xu Jun Ma Zhiyong Liu Qi Liu Hailong Zhang Xin Pei Maozheng Chen Richard N.Manchester Kejia Lee Xingwu Zheng Hans J.Kärcher Wulin Zhao Hongwei Li Dongwei Li Martin Süss Matthias Reichert Zhongyi Zhu Congsi Wang Mingshuai Li Rui Li Ning Li Guljaina Kazezkhan Wenming Yan Gang Wu Lang Cui Ming Zhang Haitao Li | 2023 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023，66，8： | 14 |

| 5 | Survival factors after resection of small hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Early resection of hepatocellular carcinoma is a key measure to prolong the survival of patients. This study was designed to summarize our experience in surgical resection of small hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and to analyze the factors influencing the postoperative survival of patients. METHODS:The clinicopathologic data of 105 patients with small HCC after resection from 1986 through 2003 were analyzed ; the patients had been followed up for more than half a year (median 33 months). Nine clinicopathologic factors, preoperative α-fetoprotein (AFP) level, liver cirrhosis, Child-Pugh score, tumor size (>2cm vs.≤2 cm) and number (single vs. multiple), capsule formation, portal vein tumor thrombi (PVTT), Edmondson tumor grade and surgical method, were analyzed by the log-rank test and the Cox proportional harzards model analysis. RESULTS:The cumulative 1-,3- and 5-year survival rates after the operation were 86.5%, 70.3% and 55.2%, respectively, and the 1-, 3- and 5-year disease-free survival rates were 78%, 58. 9% and 45. 6%, respectively. One patient died from esophagogastric varices hemorrhage in 2 weeks after reoperation. Thirty-six patients had intrahepatic recurrence or metastasis postoperatively and 34 patients died. The Kaplan-Meier method and the Cox proportional harzards model analysis indicated that poor Child-Pugh score, tumor more than 2 cm in diameter, PVTT and multiple lesions (including satellitic lesions) were adverse factors affecting postoperative survival. The Cox proportional harzards model analysis indicated that tumor size, PVTT and multiple lesions were the factors influencing postoperative disease-free survival. CONCLUSIONS:Limited hepatectomy with a margin more than 1 cm is an appropriate surgical approach. RESULTS Female predominance is seen with most SPN presenting asymptomatically in the 5th through 7th decade. Mean lesion size was 38.7 mm, 98% were single, 44.2% cystic, 46% mixed cystic and solid, and 94% hypoechoic on B-mode ultrasound. | 9 | Effects of Zr on Microstructure and Short-TermStrength in GH586显示文摘0.020, 0.045 and 0.075 wt pct Zr were added to a Ni-base superalloy GH586 to investigate theirefFects on the microstructure and the short-term strengths at 850℃. The results showed thatproper Zr addition could improve the alloy tensile strength at 850℃ and short-term rupture life at850℃, 580 MPa. Zr exists in both γ’ phase and γ matrix, which caused Zr to distribute in graininstead of segregating in grain boundaries, therefore increased both of their lattice parametersbut decreased the mismatch between them. Meanwhile, it also increased the amount of grain-boundary carbides and decreased their size markedly. These contributed to the improvement ofshort-term rupture life. However, further addition of Zr resulted in forming Zr4C2S2, a plate-fike stable sulphurocarbides in grain boundaries, which decreased short-term strength at hightemperature, and led to a worse hot workability.
