| 1 | 外用人α1型基因工程干扰素治疗慢性宫颈炎673例疗效观察显示文摘1988年8月至1989年1月,本协作组使用长春生研所研制成功的二种不同剂量外用人α1型基因工程干扰素1×10~5IU/ml及1×10~6IU/ml治疗慢性宫颈炎673例,在一疗程后总有效率达84.3%及86.6%,较对照组卡那霉素及妇炎灵的66.3%及62.9%为高(P<0.005)。停药6个月后,干扰素治疗组总有效率上升至90.1%及95.7%,疗效仍高于卡那霉素组的69.5%(P<0.05)。对宫颈糜烂病例宫颈局部作拭子标本197份进行HPV—16DNA分子杂交,阳性率达41.6%,其中经干扰素治疗166例,其治疗前后的阳性率分别为41.6%及17.5%,说明干扰素对HPV—16有一定的抑制作用。推测它有可能是一种阻断宫颈癌发生的方法。 | Wang Dawan, et al Beijing Obstetrics and Genecology Hospital, Beijing | 1990 | 中国免疫学杂志1990,6,1: | 17 |
| 2 | Brain-derived neurotrophic factor and its related enzymes and receptors play important roles after hypoxic-ischemic brain damage显示文摘Brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) regulates many neurological functions and plays a vital role during the recovery from central nervous system injuries. However, the changes in BDNF expression and associated factors following hypoxia-ischemia induced neonatal brain damage, and the significance of these changes are not fully understood. In the present study, a rat model of hypoxic-ischemic brain damage was established through the occlusion of the right common carotid artery, followed by 2 hours in a hypoxic-ischemic environment. Rats with hypoxic-ischemic brain damage presented deficits in both sensory and motor functions, and obvious pathological changes could be detected in brain tissues. The m RNA expression levels of BDNF and its processing enzymes and receptors(Furin, matrix metallopeptidase 9, tissuetype plasminogen activator, tyrosine Kinase receptor B, plasminogen activator inhibitor-1, and Sortilin) were upregulated in the ipsilateral hippocampus and cerebral cortex 6 hours after injury;however, the expression levels of these m RNAs were found to be downregulated in the contralateral hippocampus and cerebral cortex. These findings suggest that BDNF and its processing enzymes and receptors may play important roles in the pathogenesis and recovery from neonatal hypoxic-ischemic brain damage. | 5 | Spectroscopic evidence for triplet excitation energy transfer among carotenoids in the LH2 complex from photosynthetic bacterium Rhodopseudomonas palustris显示文摘The LH2 complex from Rhodopsudomonas (Rps.) palustris is unique in the heterogeneous carotenoid compositions. The dynamics of triplet excited state Carotenoids (3Car*) has been investigated by means of sub-microsecond time-resolved absorption spectroscopy both at physiological temperature (295 K) and at cryogenic temperature (77 K). Broad and asymmetric Tn←T1 transient absorption was observed at room temperature following the photo-excitation of Car at 532 nm, which suggests the contribution from various carotenoid compositions having different numbers of conjugated C=C double bonds (NC=C). The triplet absorption bands of different carotenoids, which superimposed at room temperature, could be clearly distinguished upon decreasing the temperature down to 77 K. At room temperature the shorter-wavelength side of the main Tn←T1 absorption band decayed rapidly to reach a spectral equilibration with a characteristic time constant of~1 μs, the same spectral dynamics, however, was not observed at 77 K. The aforementioned spectral dynamics can be explained in terms of the triplet-excitation transfer among heterogeneous carotenoid compositions. Global spectral analysis was applied to the time-resolved spectra at room temperature, which revealed two spectral components peaked at 545 and 565 nm, and assignable to the Tn←T1 absorption of Cars with NC=C=11 and NC=C=13, respectively. Surprisingly, the decay time constant of a shorter-con- jugated Car, I.e. 0.72 μs (aerobic) and 1.36 μs (anaerobic), is smaller than that of a longer-con- jugated Car, I.e. 2.12 μs (aerobic) and 3.75 μs (anaerobic), which is contradictory to the general rule of carotenoids and relative polyenes. The results are explained in terms of triplet-excitation transfer among different types of Cars. | 7 | Genetic diversity of pepper(Capsicum spp.) germplasm resources in China reflects selection for cultivar types and spatial distribution显示文摘Pepper(Capsicum spp.) is an important vegetable crop in the world. Now the pepper in China contributes one-third of the world's peppers production. Genetic diversity of the pepper germplasm of China is expected interesting to know. To explore the structure of genetic diversity in Chinese pepper germplasm resources and possible relationship with cultivar types or geographic origin, we sampled and compared 372 Gen Bank pepper accessions(local cultivars and landraces) from 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities of China and 31 additional accessions from other countries. These accessions were genotyped using 28 simple sequence repeat(SSR) markers spanning the entire pepper genome. We then investigated the genetic structure of the sampled collection using model-based analysis in STRUCTURE v2.3.4 and examined genetic relationships by the unweighted pair-group method of mathematical averages(UPGMA) in MEGA. In addition to geographic origin, we evaluated eight plant and fruit traits. In total, 363 alleles were amplified using the 28 SSR primers. Gene diversity, polymorphism information content and heterozygosity of the 28 SSR loci were estimated as 0.09–0.92, 0.08–0.92 and 0.01–0.34, respectively. The UPGMA cluster analysis clearly distinguished Capsicum annuum L. from other cultivated pepper species. Population structure analysis of the 368 C. annuum accessions uncovered three genetic groups which also corresponded to distinct cultivar types with respect to the plant and fruit descriptors. The genetic structure was also related to the geographic origin of the landraces. | 11 | Efficacy of Yangyin Yiqi Huoxue Granule (养阴益气活血颗粒) in Treatment of Ischemic Stroke Patients with Qi-Yin Deficiency and Blood Stasis Syndrome: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Multicenter, Phase-2 Clinical Trial显示文摘Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Yangyin Yiqi Huoxue Granule(养阴益气活血颗粒,YYHG)in the treatment of ischemic stroke(IS)patients with qi-yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome(QYDBSS),and to explore its effective dosage.Methods The total of 288 patients were randomly assigned to the YYHG high-dose,YYHG low-dose,positive control(administered Xiaoshuantong Granule,XSTG,消栓通颗粒),or placebo control(administered inert granule)groups(72 cases per group)by software-drived competitive block randomization.The trial was conducted for a 28-day period,with a 180-day follow-up period.The primary outcome was the comprehensive curative evaluation,and secondary outcomes were the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score,Barthel activities of daily living(ADL)index score,the quality of life index(QLI)score,and the Chinese medicine syndrome(CMS)score.All analyses were done on an intention-to-treat basis.The clinical safety was also assessed.Results The total of 288 participants were recruited between June 1,2008 and September 30,2009,and 287 patients received intervention;the treatment groups were well balanced at baseline.The comprehensive cure rates of YYHG high-dose,low-dose,positive and placebo control groups were 63.38%,31.94%,36.11%and 6.14%,respectively;there was a statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.01),while the high-dose YYHG treatment group was significantly higher than the other 3 groups(P<0.01).The improvement of NIHSS,ADL,QLI and CMS scores of the YYHG high-dose and low-dose groups was significantly better than that of the positive control group and the placebo control group(P<0.05).In terms of improving the classification of the NIHSS scale and the assessment of the ADL scale,the YYHG high-dose group was significantly better than the other three groups(P<0.05),and the YYHG low-dose group was better than the placebo control group(P<0.01).At the same time,except for the QLI score,the high-dose group was better than the low-dose group(P<0.05).In terms of safety,adverse reactions after YYHG treatment were generally mild(3.78%),and no serious adverse reactions have been reported.Conclusion YYHG is safe and effective in the treatment of IS patients with QYDBSS. | WANG Yu YANG Jie-hong WAN Hai-tong HE Yu XU Bin Al Chang-shan ZHOU Hui-fen YU Li WAN Hao-fang BIE Xiao-dong | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2021,27,11: | 4 |

| 15 | Sharkskin-Inspired Magnetoactive Reconfigurable Acoustic Metamaterials显示文摘Most of the existing acoustic metamaterials rely on architected structures with fixed configurations,and thus,their properties cannot be modulated once the structures are fabricated.Emerging active acoustic metamaterials highlight a promising opportunity to on-demand switch property states;however,they typically require tethered loads,such as mechanical compression or pneumatic actuation.Using untethered physical stimuli to actively switch property states of acoustic metamaterials remains largely unexplored.Here,inspired by the sharkskin denticles,we present a class of active acoustic metamaterials whose configurations can be on-demand switched via untethered magnetic fields,thus enabling active switching of acoustic transmission,wave guiding,logic operation,and reciprocity.The key mechanism relies on magnetically deformable Mie resonator pillar(MRP)arrays that can be tuned between vertical and bent states corresponding to the acoustic forbidding and conducting,respectively.The MRPs are made of a magnetoactive elastomer and feature wavy air channels to enable an artificial Mie resonance within a designed frequency regime.The Mie resonance induces an acoustic bandgap,which is closed when pillars are selectively bent by a sufficiently large magnetic field.These magnetoactive MRPs are further harnessed to design stimuli-controlled reconfigurable acoustic switches,logic gates,and diodes.Capable of creating the first generation of untethered-stimuli-induced active acoustic metadevices,the present paradigm may find broad engineering applications,ranging from noise control and audio modulation to sonic camouflage. | Kyung Hoon Lee Kunhao Yu Hasan Al Ba’ba’a An Xin Zhangzhengrong Feng Qiming Wang | 2020 | Research2020,,1: | 2 |
