1Preliminary results pertaining to coseismic displacement and preseismic strain accumulation of the Lushan M_S7.0 earthquake,as reflected by GPS surveying显示文摘This paper presents the coseismic displacement and preseismic deformation fields of the Lushan MS7.0 earthquake that occurred on April 20,2013.The results are based on GPS observations along the Longmenshan fault and within its vicinity.The coseismic displacement and preseismic GPS results indicate that in the strain release of this earthquake,the thrust rupture is dominant and the laevorotation movement is secondary.Furthermore,we infer that any possible the rupture does not reach the earth’s surface,and the seismogenic fault is most likely one fault to the east of the Guanxian-Anxian fault.Some detailed results are obtainable.(1)The southern segment of the Longmenshan fault is locked preceding the Lushan earthquake.After the Wenchuan earthquake,the strain accumulation rate in the southeast direction accelerates in the epicenter of the Lushan earthquake,and the angle between the principal compressional strain and the seismogenic fault indicates that a sinistral deformation background in the direction of the seismogenic fault precedes the Lushan earthquake.Therefore,it is evident that the Wenchuan MS8.0 earthquake accelerated the pregnancy of the Lushan earthquake.(2)The coseismic displacements reflected by GPS data are mainly located in a region that is 230 km(NW direction)×100 km(SW direction),and coseismic displacements larger than 10 mm lie predominantly in a100-km region(NW direction).(3)On a large scale,the coseismic displacement shows thrust characteristics,but the associated values are remarkably small in the near field(within 70 km)of the earthquake fault.Meanwhile,the thrust movement in this70-km region does not correspond with the attenuation characteristics of the strain release,indicating that the rupture of this earthquake does not reach the earth’s surface.(4)The laevorotation movements are remarkable in the 50-km region,which is located in the hanging wall that is close to the earthquake fault,and the corresponding values in this case correlate with the attenuation characteristics of the strain release.WU YanQiang JIANG ZaiSen WANG Min CHE Shi LIAO Hua LI Qiang LI Peng YANG YongLin XIANG HePing SHAO ZhiGang WANG WuXing WEI WenXin LIU XiaoXia 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28:33

5Anomalous crustal movements before great Wenchuan earthquake observed by GPS显示文摘Studies of GPS data carried out before and after the great Wenchuan earthquake of Ms8.0 on May 12,2008 show that anomalous crustal movements occurred before the earthquake.Data from 4 pre-earthquake observation sessions at a dense network of stations show that there were prominent broad-ranged long-and mid-term anomalies in horizontal displacements and strain and in vertical displacements.Data from the fewer-numbered reference stations of continuous GPS observations since 1999 in West and South China showed short-term preseismic anomalies in horizontal displacements.The detection of co-seismic horizontal displacements at these stations supports the existence of the pre-earthquake anomalies.Results of single-epoch solutions of data from continuous-observation stations near the epicenter also show large imminent anomalies in vertical displacements.Although the Wenchuan earthquake was not predicted,these results give a strong indication that GPS should be the main observation technique for long-term,mid-term,short-term and imminent earthquake predictions.Gu Guohua Meng Guojie Wang Wuxing 2011Geodesy and Geodynamics2011,2,2:10
6Horizontal crustal movement before the great Wenchuan earthquake obtained from GPS observations in the regional network显示文摘The great Wenchuan earthquake of M8.0 on May 12,2008,occurred in an area with dense GPS observation stations in the regional network of the Crustal Movement Observation Network of China(CMONOC).Non-continuous observations were carried out at the 1 000 GPS stations of the regional network in 1999,2001,2004 and 2007.The horizontal displacements at GPS stations in the regional network before the Wenchuan earthquake show that the main driving tectonic force of the earthquake was the northward pushing of the Indian plate,added at the same time by the pushing of plates on the east and south.In comparison to the displacements in other regions,the horizontal displacements near and around the seismic area is characterized by diverging eastward displacements,that is,the stations to the north of the epicenter moved in the ENE direction while those to the south of epicenter moved in ESE direction with smaller displacements at stations near the epicenter.The accuracy of the estimated strain results is briefly discussed.In order to obtain the anomalous information before the earthquake,the methods of both best fits by trend surface and statistics have been used in the study for finding the future epicentral area from the strain accumulations in the regional network observed from 1999 to 2007 before the Wenchuan earthquake.Besides the epicentral area of the western Kunlun mountain pass earthquake of M8.1 in 2001,the results of best fits by trend surfaces of the strain accumulations from 1999 to 2007 in the regional network show that the Wenchuan earthquake occurred at the eastern fringe of a large area with relatively large accumulations of the first shear strains and also at the northeastern fringe of a smaller area with significant accumulated areal compressions.The statistics of the accumulations of the strain components demonstrates that they also showed anomalous distribution patterns in this area and its neighborhood with increasing accumulations of both shear strains and areal compressions.Guohua Gu Wuxing Wang Yueren Xu Wenjun Li 2009Earthquake Science2009,22,5:9
7Viscous lithospheric structure beneath Sumatra inferred from post-seismic gravity changes detected by GRACE显示文摘Satellite gravity data of the regional rheological structure of the lithosphere in the vicinity of Sumatra is used as evidence to enable a better understanding of the regional geodynamic environment.The data is interpreted using the theory of post-seismic viscoelastic relaxation.Coand post-seismic changes in the gravity field resulting from the 2004 M w 9.3 Sumatra earthquake were calculated from Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellite data.A spatial Gaussian filter,500 km wide,was used in the calculation.The results indicate that there were significant co-seismic jumps in both uplifted and subducted regions.The magnitude of the jump in the subducted zone was ~9 10 8 m/s 2,more significant than the ~2 10 8 m/s 2 jump observed in the uplifted zone.However,a positive gravity change occurred in the uplifted zone very soon after the earthquake.The rheological structure of the lithosphere has a great effect on deformation and its determination is a fundamental part of developing reliable numerical simulations in geodynamics.Based on the temporally-variable gravity field observed by GRACE,the viscous lithospheric structure of the Sumatra area is investigated with a self-gravitating,half space,viscoelastic earth model.The estimated viscosity is of the order of 1.0 10 18 Pa·s and there are differences in the rheological parameters on the two sides of the fault.The factors that affect the viscosity are discussed in connection with the tectonic structure of the Sumatra area.WANG WuXing SHI YaoLin SUN WenKe ZHANG Jing 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,8:9
8Effects of long-term fertilizer applications on peanut yield and quality and plant and soil heavy metal accumulation显示文摘The status of essential and potentially toxic trace elements in soils and crops can be affected by long-term fertilization practices. This study aimed to investigate changes in peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) yield and kernel quality, and changes in copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), lead (Pb), and cadmium (Cd)concentrations in soil and peanut kernels after 16 years of continuous cropping with different fertilization treatments. Five fertilization treatments were applied at a red soil site in Southeast China:chemical fertilizer (F) containing nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, F+trace elements (FT), pig manure (M), M+effective microorganisms (MB), and MB+trace elements (MBT). Properties of soil and pig manure, heavy metal contents in soil and peanut kernels, and the compositions of amino and fatty acids in kernels were determined. Application of pig manure significantly increased peanut biomass, kernel yield, and crude protein and total amino acid contents in kernels, but led to higher amounts of Cu, Zn, and Cd in soil and higher amounts of Zn and Cd in peanut kernels compared with that of chemical fertilizer. 9CLASSIFICATION OF GEAR FAULTS USING HIGHER-ORDER STATISTICS AND SUPPORT VECTOR MACHINES显示文摘Gears alternately mesh and detach in driving process, and then working conditions of gears are alternately changing, so they are easy to be spalled and worn. But because of the effect of additive gaussian measurement noises, the signal-to-noises ratio is low; their fault features are difficult to extract. This study aims to propose an approach of gear faults classification,using the cumulants and support vector machines. The cumulants can eliminate the additive gaussian noises, boost the signal-to-noises ratio. Generalisation of support vector machines as classifier, which is employed structural risk minimisation principle, is superior to that of conventional neural networks, which is employed traditional empirical risk minimisation principle. Support vector machines as the classifier, and the third and fourth order cumulants as input, gears faults are successfully recognized. 11Synthesis and modification of well-ordered layered cathode oxide LiNi_(2/3)Mn_(1/3)O_2显示文摘Oxalic-acid-based co-precipitation method was employed to prepare LiNi2/3Mn1/3O2 sample with a high-ordered structure. Li+,Ni2+ and Mn2+ acetates were used as starting materials. The influence of the amount of lithium source in the starting materials on Li+ content,disorder of Li+-Ni2+ ions,and electrochemical performance has been investigated. Rietveld refinement shows that the sample prepared with 20% excess Li-source in the starting materials exhibits a perfect ordered structure. A specific discharge capacity is as high as 172 mAh/g at C/20 in the voltage range of 4.35?2.7 V. However,the cyclability is not satisfactory:about 25.3% fade in capacity was observed over 50 cycles. Chemically stable SiO2 was coated on the surface of LiNi2/3Mn1/3O2 particles. 12Morphology-controllable solvothermal synthesis of nanoscale LiFePO_4 in a binary solvent显示文摘LiFePO4(LFP) nanobars,microplates and nanorods have been selectively synthesized via a solvothermal method in a water-ethylene glycol(EG) binary solvent with H3PO4,LiOH·H2O,and FeSO4·7H2O as starting materials.The morphology and size of the as-obtained LFP products can be deliberately controlled by varying the volume ratio of EG to water.The formation mechanism and electrochemical properties of different LFP morphologies have been investigated.With carbon coating,the Li-ion diffusion coefficients of LFP nanorods,nanobars and micro-plates are 2.58×10-9,2.91×10-10,and 7.22×10-10 cm2 s-1,respectively.For the carbon-coated nanorods,excellent rate capability and cyclability were attained.At 5 C,the capacity was 141 mAh g-1 for the first cycle and maintained 120 mAh g-1 after 100 cycles;at 10 C,the capacity was still as high as 132 mAh g-1.WU Miao WANG ZhaoHui YUAN LiXia ZHANG WuXing HU XianLuo HUANG YunHui 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,32:4
13Application of PID controller to 2D differential geometric guidance problem显示文摘This paper presents the application of the proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller to the fiight control system (FCS) for two-dimensional (2D) differential geometric (DG) guidance and control problem. In particular, the performance of the designed FCS is investigated. To this end, the commanded angle-of-attack is firstly developed in the time domain using the classical DG formulations. Then, the classical PID controller is introduced to develop a FCS so as to form the 2D DG guidance and control system, and the PID controller parameters are determined by the Ziegler-Nichols method as well as the Routh-Hurwitz stability algorithm to guarantee the convergence of the system error. 14Urban Plant Diversity in Relation to Land Use Types in Built-up Areas of Beijing显示文摘Urban plants provide various ecosystem services and biodiversity for human well-being. It is necessary to examine the plant species and functional traits composition and the influencing factors. In this study, a field survey was conducted using the tessellation-randomized plot method to assess the plant species and functional traits variability in greenspaces across eight land use types(LUTs) in the built-up areas of Beijing, China. Results showed that the woody plants in the built-up areas of Beijing comprised 85 non-native species(57%), 21 pollen-allergenic species(14%), and 99 resistant species(67%). Residential areas, community parks and institutional areas had higher woody plant species richness than other LUTs. Native and extralimital native species were more widespread than exotic species. Proportions of species with resistances were low except for cold-and drought-resistance; consequently, a high intensity of management and maintenance is essential for survival of plants in this urban area. Caution should be exerted in selecting plant species with resistance to harsh conditions in different LUTs. Housing prices, distances from the urban center, years since the establishment of LUTs and greening rate were strongly correlated with the plant functional traits and species diversity. 15Post-Synthetic and In Situ Vacancy Repairing of Iron Hexacyanoferrate Toward Highly Stable Cathodes for Sodium-Ion Batteries显示文摘Iron hexacyanoferrate(FeHCF)is a promising cathode material for sodium-ion batteries.However,FeHCF always suffers from a poor cycling stability,which is closely related to the abundant vacancy defects in its framework.Herein,post-synthetic and in-situ vacancy repairing strategies are proposed for the synthesis of highquality FeHCF in a highly concentrated Na_(4)Fe(CN)_(6) solution.Both the post-synthetic and in-situ vacancy repaired FeHCF products(FeHCF-P and FeHCF-I)show the significant decrease in the number of vacancy defects and the reinforced structure,which can suppress the side reactions and activate the capacity from low-spin Fe in FeHCF.In particular,FeHCF-P delivers a reversible discharge capacity of 131 mAh g^(−1) at 1 C and remains 109 mAh g^(−1) after 500 cycles,with a capacity retention of 83%.FeHCF-I can deliver a high discharge capacity of 158.5 mAh g^(−1) at 1 C.Even at 10 C,the FeHCF-I electrode still maintains a discharge specific capacity of 103 mAh g^(−1) and retains 75% after 800 cycles.This work provides a new vacancy repairing strategy for the solution synthesis of high-quality FeHCF.Min Wan Rui Zeng Jingtao Meng Zexiao Cheng Weilun Chen Jiayu Peng Wuxing Zhang Yunhui Huang 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,1:3
16Parametric modeling of hypersonic ballistic data based on time varying auto-regressive model显示文摘For describing target motion in hypersonic vehicle defense,a parametric analyzing and modeling method on ballistic data is proposed based on time varying auto-regressive method.Ballistic data are regarded as non-stationary random signal,where the hidden internal law is studied.Firstly,ballistic data are decomposed into smooth linear trend signal and non-stationary periodic skip signal with ensemble empirical mode decomposition method to avoid mutual interference between different modal data.Secondly,the linear trend signal and the periodic skip signal are modeled separately.The linear trend signal is approximated by power function regressive estimator and the periodic skip signal is modeled based on time varying auto-regressive method.In order to determine optimal model orders,a novel method is presented based on information theoretic criteria and the criteria of minimizing the mean absolute error.Finally,the consistency test is conducted by investigating the time-frequency spectrum characteristics and statistical properties of outputs of the parametric model established above and dynamics model under the same initial condition.Simulation results demonstrate that the parametric model established by the proposed method shares a high consistency with the original dynamics model.HU YuDong LI JunLong ZHANG Zhao JING WuXing GAO ChangSheng 2020Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,8:3
17Autonomous navigation to quasi-periodic orbits near translunar libration points显示文摘Libration-point missions have been very useful and successful.Due to the unstable natures of most of these orbits,the long-time stationkeeping demands frequent maneuvers and precise orbit determinations.Earth-based tracking will have to undertake much more responsibilities with the increasing number of libration missions.An autonomous navigation system could offer a better way to decrease the need for Earth-based tracking.Nevertheless,when an autonomous navigation system is applied,there are three important factors affecting autonomous navigation accuracy,i.e.,the accuracy of initial conditions,the accuracy of measurements,and the accuracy of onboard dynamics for propagation.This paper focuses on analyzing the influence from the third factor and fnding an appropriate navigation dynamics,which can satisfy the requirement of estimation accuracy but not cause too much burden for onboard computation.When considering the restricted three-body model and the bicircular restricted four-body model as navigation dynamics,the astringency is not shown during the simulations.Meanwhile,when considering the influences of the Sun's direct and indirect perturbations and the eccentricity of the Moon's orbit,a new navigation dynamic model with the standard ephemerides is proposed.The simulation shows the feasibility of the proposed model.Jing Wuxing Qian Yingjing Gao Changsheng Li Jianqing 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5:3
18Pre-seismic and Co-seismic Crustal Movements of the M 7.3 Kyushu Earthquake on April 16,2016 in Japan显示文摘The time series of coordinates of a large number of GPS stations in the world,processed by Prof. Geoffrey Blewitt with GIPSY software are available at http://geodesy. unr. edu.Based on the time series of coordinates in the global reference frame of IGS08 at more than250 stations of continuous GPS observations,downloaded from the website,the co-seismic displacements of the M7. 3 Kyushu earthquake on April 16,2016 in Japan and the preseismic strain accumulations and displacements in the regional reference frame were obtained. The station of continuous GPS observation at BJFS near Beijing has been quite stable in displacement in the eastern part of China for more than 17 years since the beginning of its operation,and this station is used as the core station in the regional reference frame for the pre-seismic displacement of the Kyushu earthquake of M7. 3. The main feature of the pre-seismic displacements of the Kyushu earthquake is characterized by locking in the crust at and near the epicenter. The anomalous pre-seismic strain accumulation developed in an area of anomalous accumulation of the shear strain component of γ1 on the northeast side of the epicenter,with increasing size of the area and increasing magnitude in γ1. The largest area covered by the anomalous γ1 is about 2000 km2. The change in the E component at BJFS since November 26,2015 was caused by the replacement of the receiver and the antenna at the station. In order to study the shortterm change in displacements at stations at and near the epicenter,the time series at 3 stations with continuous GPS observations,2 at SUWN and DAEJ in south Korea and 1 at BJSH near Beijing were analyzed. The analysis shows that the displacements at the 3 stations have been quite stable in the same manner in east Asia. 19A novel adaptive lateral reentry guidance algorithm with complex distributed no-fly zones constraints显示文摘Aimed at complex distributed no-fly zones avoidance problems,a novel adaptive lateral reentry guidance algorithm is proposed.Firstly,by introducing the improved attractive and repulsive potential fields,an improved artificial potential field method is developed.Combined with the proposed judgment criterion for whether a no-fly zone has been avoided,the proposed improved artificial potential field method effectively solves the reference heading angle determination problem under the constraints of complex distributed no-fly zones.Then,based on the proposed no-fly zone’s threat quantitative evaluation method and the reference heading angle determined by the proposed improved artificial potential field method,the heading corridor is improved to increase its sensitivity to the threat changes of the no-fly zones.Finally,for satisfying the requirements of complex distributed no-fly zones avoidance,a novel guidance logic via improved heading corridor is proposed to update the reference heading corridor adaptively in real time according to the threat and constraint changes of the no-fly zones,and the bank reversal logic is employed to control the lateral motion.The simulation results for nominal and dispersed cases indicate that the proposed guidance algorithm has high robustness,stability,and applicability,and is feasible and effective to deal with the complex distributed no-fly zones avoidance problems.Yudong HU Changsheng GAO Junlong LI Wuxing JING Wenxue CHEN 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,7:2
20Three-dimensional cooperative guidance law for multiple missiles with impact angle constraint显示文摘This paper proposes a cooperative guidance law for attacking a ground target with the impact angle constraint based on the motion camouflage strategy in the line-of-sight(LOS)frame.A dynamic model with the impact angle constraint is established according to the relative motion between multiple missiles and the target.The process of cooperative guidance law design is divided into two stages.Firstly,based on the undirected graph theory,a new finite-time consensus protocol on the LOS direction is derived to guarantee relative distances reach consensus.And the value of acceleration command is positive,which is beneficial for engineering realization.Secondly,the acceleration command on the normal direction of the LOS is designed based on motion camouflage and finite-time convergence,which can ensure the missiles reach the target with the desired angle and satisfy the motion camouflage state.The finitetime stability analysis is proved by the Lyapunov theory.Numerical simulations for stationary and maneuver targets have demonstrated the effectiveness of the cooperative guidance law proposed.YANG Biao JING Wuxing GAO Changsheng 2020Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,6:2
