1Suspended particulate matter in Jiaozhou Bay:Properties and variations in response to hydrodynamics and pollution显示文摘Based on water samples collected and observations of currents, tidal levels as well as turbidities taken, respectively over a period of 15 and 7 d, in southwestern Jiaozhou Bay on August, 2001, it was found that: ( i ) the average content of non mineral component amounted to 87% of the suspended sediment matter (SPM) in Jiaozhou Bay,much higher than in estuaries and bays where turbidity is high and mineral particulates dominates; (ii) in contrast to high turbid bays, SPM was generally coarser than bed deposits and in upper water column than in lower water column in Jiaozhou Bay; (iii) in fair weathers, suspended sediment concentration (SPC) varied regularly within tidal cycles and neap-spring cycles, but the regularity was deformed in storms; and (iv) SPC was controlled by settling/resuspension near the bed and by advection at the surface at the study site with a depth of 20 m, suggesting weak vertical exchanges. 2Perfusion MR imaging and proton MR spectroscopy in a case of dysembryroplastic neuroepithelial tumor显示文摘Dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumors (DNTs), which were first described by Daumas-Duport in 1988, are one of rare benign tumors usually associated with medically intractable seizures which date from childhood. 1 The clinical, pathologic and neuroradiologic findings of DNT have been described. 2 Recent advances in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology allow the acquisition of cerebral microcirculation parameters by perfusion weighted imaging (PWI) and brain metabolic indices by MR spectroscopy (MRS). 3The Study of Plasma Nitriding of AISI304 Stainless Steel显示文摘This paper presents results on the plasma nitriding of AISI 304 stainless steel at different temperatures in NH 3 gas. The working pressure was 100-200 Pa and the discharge voltage was 700-800V. The phase of nitrided layer formed on the surface was confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The hardness of the samples was measured by using a Vickers microhardness tester with the load of 50g. After nitriding at about 400 °C for two hours a nitrided layer consisting of single YN phase with thickness of 5um was obtained. Microhardness measurements showed significant increase in the hardness from 240 HV (for untreated samples) up to 950 HV (for nitrided samples at temperature of 420°C). 4A ternary phased SnO_2-Fe_2O_3/SWCNTs nanocomposite as a high performance anode material for lithium ion batteries显示文摘A new SnO_2-Fe_2O_3/SWCNTs(single-walled carbon nanotubes) ternary nanocomposite was first synthesized by a facile hydrothermal approach.SnO_2 and Fe_2O_3 nanoparticles(NPs) were homogeneously located on the surface of SWCNTs,as confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscope(TEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX).Due to the synergistic effect of different components,the as synthesized SnO_2-Fe_2O_3/SWCNTs composite as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries exhibited excellent electrochemical performance with a high capacity of 692 mAh·g^(-1) which could be maintained after 50 cycles at 200 mA·g^(-1).Even at a high rate of2000 mA·g^(-1),the capacity was still remained at 656 mAh·g^(-1).Wangliang Wu Yi Zhao Jiaxin Li Chuxin Wu Lunhui Guan 2014Journal of Energy Chemistry2014,23,3:5
5Coalescence separation of oil water emulsion on amphiphobic fluorocarbon polymer and silica nanoparticles coated fiber-bed coalescer显示文摘Discharging untreated oily wastewater into the environment disrupts the ecological balance,which is a global problem that requires urgent solutions.Superhydrophilic and superoleophilic fibrous medium(FM)effectively separated oil–water emulsion as it was hydrophobic underwater.But its separation efficiencies(SEs)first increased to 98.9%,then dropped to 97.6%in 10 min because of oil-fouling.To tackle this problem,FM deposited with 0%–10%silica nanoparticle(NPsFMs),then coated by fluorocarbon polymer(X-[CH_(2)CH_(2)O]nCH_(2)CH_(2)O-Y-NH-COOCH_(2)C4F9)(FCNPs FMs),was used to enhance its roughness and regulate its initial wettability to improve the anti-fouling property.FCFM and FCNPs FMs were hydrophobic and oleophobic in air and oleophobic underwater.Their water contact angles,oil contact angles and oil contact angles were 115.3°–121.1°,128.8°–136.5°,and 131.6°–136.7°,respectively,meeting the requirement of 90°–140°for coalescence separation.FCNPs FM-5 had the best separation performance with a constant value of 99.8%in 10 min,while that of FCNPs FM-10 slightly decreased to 99.5%.Theoretical released droplet(TRD)diameter,calculated by the square root of the product of pore radius and fiber diameter,was used for the evaluation of coalescence performance.Analyzed by two ideal models,TRD diameter and fiber diameter showed a parabola type relationship,proving that the separation efficiency was a collaborative work of wettability,pore size and fiber diameter.Also,it explained the SEs reduction from FCNPs FM-5 to FCNPs FM-10 was revelent to the three parameters.Moreover,FCNPsFMs effectively separated emulsions stabilized by cationic surfactant CTAB(SEs:97.3%–98.4%)and anionic surfactant SDBS(SEs:91.3%–93.4%).But they had an adverse effect on nonionic surfactant Tween-80 emulsion separation(SEs:94.0%–71.76%).Emulsions made by diverse oils can be effectively separated:octane(SEs:99.4%–100%),rapeseed oil(SEs:97.3%–98.8%),and diesel(SEs:95.2%–97.0%).These findings provide new insights for designing novel materials for oil–water separation by coalescence mechanism.Qian Zhang Lei Li Lixia Cao Yanxiang Li Wangliang Li 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,8:3
6Enhanced coalescence separation of oil-in-water emulsions using electrospun PVDF nanofibers显示文摘A novel and high-efficiency coalescence membrane enhanced by nano-sized polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)nanofibers based on polyester(PET)substrate was fabricated using electrospinning method.The properties of the electrospun nanofibers such as roughness and surface morphology greatly affected the oil droplet interception efficiency and surface wettability of the membrane.A series of coalescence units were prepared with different layers of nanofibrous membrane and the separation efficiencies at different initial concentrations,flow rates,and oil types were tested.It is very interesting that the obtained nanofibrous membrane exhibited superoleophilicity in air but poor oleophilicity under water,which was beneficial to the coalescence process.The coalescence unit with four membrane layers had excellent performances under different initial concentrations and flow rates.The separation efficiency of the 4-layers unit remained above 98.2%when the initial concentration reached up to 2000 mg·L-1.Furthermore,the unit also exhibited good performance with the increasing oil density and viscosity,which is promising for large-scale oil wastewater treatment.Yujie Yang Lei Li Qian Zhang Wenwen Chen Song Lin Zaiqian Wang Wangliang Li 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,10:2
7Selection of adsorbents for in-situ coupling technology of adsorptive desulfurization and biodesulfurization显示文摘In-situ coupling of adsorptive desulfurization and biodesulfurization is a new desulfurization technol- ogy for fossil oil. It has the merits of high-selectivity of biodesulfurization and high-rate of adsorptive desulfurization. It is carried out by assembling nano-adsorbents onto surfaces of microbial cells. In this work, In-situ coupling desulfurization technology of widely used desulfurization adsorbents of γ-Al2O3, Na-Y molecular sieves, and active carbon with Pseudomonas delafieldii R-8 were studied. Results show that Na-Y molecular sieves restrain the activity of R-8 cells and active carbon cannot desorb the sub- strate dibenzothiophene (DBT). Thus, they are not applicable to in-situ coupling desulfurization tech- nology. Gamma-Al2O3 can adsorb DBT from oil phase quickly, and then desorb it and transfer it to R-8 cells for biodegradation, thus increasing desulfurization rate. It is also found that nano-sized γ-Al2O3 increases desulfurization rate more than regular-sized γ-Al2O3. 20Fabrication of magnetically responsive anti-fouling and easy-cleaning nanofiber membrane and its application for efficient oil-water emulsion separation显示文摘The magnetically responsive anti-fouling nanofiber membrane(MRANM)was fabricated for efficient oilwater emulsion separation,which could be cleaned using oscillating magnetic field.MRANM was prepared by grafting superparamagnetic Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles onto the surface of electrospun polyacrylonitrile nanofiber membrane(PANM).Compared with PANM,the water contact angle of MRANM decreased from 104°to 0°,indicating that the hydrophilicity of the membrane was significantly improved.For the emulsions of hexadecane,octane and rapeseed oil,the separation efficiency was 98.04%,96.59%and 92.67%,respectively.After the treatments in oscillating magnetic field,the separation efficiency kept above 95%after 8 times recycling,which indicated that the MRANM had good regenerability and reusability.The as-fabricated membrane with magnetic responsiveness facilitated an effective method for solving the membrane fouling problem during practical applications of separation high viscosity oil-water emulsion.Yajie Wang Zhiwei Guo Yujie Yang Yanxiang Li Qingchun Guo Peilin Cui Wangliang Li 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,1:1
