| 1 | Physical exercise in the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease显示文摘Dementia is one of the greatest global challenges for health and social care in the 21st century.Alzheimer’s disease(AD),the most common type of dementia,is by no means an inevitable consequence of growing old.Several lifestyle factors may increase,or reduce,an individual’s risk of developing AD.Much has been written over the ages about the benefits of exercise and physical activity.Among the risk factors associated with AD is a low level of physical activity.The relationship between physical and mental health was established several years ago.In this review,we discuss the role of exercise(aerobic and resistance)training as a therapeutic strategy for the treatment and prevention of AD.Older adults who exercise are more likely to maintain cognition.We address the main protective mechanism on brain function modulated by physical exercise by examining both human and animal studies.We will pay especial attention to the potential role of exercise in the modulation of amyloid b turnover,inflammation,synthesis and release of neurotrophins,and improvements in cerebral blood flow.Promoting changes in lifestyle in presymptomatic and predementia disease stages may have the potential for delaying one-third of dementias worldwide.Multimodal interventions that include the adoption of an active lifestyle should be recommended for older populations. | Adrian De la Rosa Gloria Olaso-Gonzalez Coralie Arc-Chagnaud Fernando Millan Andrea Salvador-Pascual Consolacion Garcıa-Lucerga Cristina Blasco-Lafarga Esther Garcia-Dominguez Aitor Carretero Angela G.Correas Jose Vina Mari Carmen Gomez-Cabrera | 2020 | Journal of Sport and Health Science2020，9，5： | 32 |
| 2 | Determinants of quinolone resistance in Escherichia coli causing community-acquired urinary tract infection in Bejaia,Algeria显示文摘Objective:To investigate the mechanisms of quinolone resistance and the association with other resistance markers among Esherichia coli(E.coli) strains isolated from outpatient with urinary tract infection in north of Algeria.Methods:A total of 30 nalidixic acid-resistant E.coli isolates from outpatient with urinary tract infections from January 2010 to April 2011 in north of Algeria(Bejaia) were studied.Antimicrobial susceptibility was determined by disc diffusion assay,minimal inhibitory concentrations(MIC) of quinolone were determined by microdilution.Mutations in the Quinolone Resistance-Determining Region(QRDR) of gyra and parC genes and screening for qnr(A,B and S) and bla genes were done by PCK and UNA sequencing.Results:Most of the E.coli isolates(56.66%) were shown to carry mutations in gyrA and parC,igyra:Ser83Leu + Asp87Asn and parC:Ser80Iler.While.16.66 had only an alteration in gyrA:Ser83Leu.One isolate produced qnrB-like and two qnrS-like.Four isolates were CTXM-15 producers associated with TEM-1 producing in one case.Co-expression of bla_(LTV,M)_(15) and qnrB was determined in one E.coli isolate.Conclusions:Our findings suggested the community emergence of gyrA and parC alterations and Qnr determinants that contributed to the development and spread of fluoroquinolone resistance in Algerian E.coli isolates. | Yanat Betitra Vinuesa Teresa Vinas Miguel Touati Abdelaziz | 2014 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2014，7，6： | 8 |
| 3 | Reallocation of foliicolous species of the genus Strigula into six genera(lichenized Ascomycota,Dothideomycetes,Strigulaceae)显示文摘Strigula sensu lato has been previously defined based on phenotype characters as a rather broad genus including tropical to temperate species growing on a wide array of substrata.In this study,based on a multilocus phylogenetic approach,we show that foliicolous species form six well-delimited clades that correlate with diagnostic phenotype features,including thallus morphology,carbonization of the involucrellum and excipulum,ascospore dimensions,and type of macroconidia.Given the topology,with five of the six clades emerging on long stem branches,and the strong phenotypical differentiation between the clades,we recognize these at the genus level,making mostly use of previously established genus names.Four genera,namely Phylloporis,Puiggariella,Raciborskiella,and Racoplaca,are resurrected for the S.phyllogena,S.nemathora,S.janeirensis,and S.subtilissima groups,respectively,whereas one new genus,Serusiauxiella gen.nov.,is introduced for a novel lineage with peculiar macroconidia.The only sequenced non-foliicolous species,S.jamesii,is not closely related to these six foliicolous lineages but clusters with Flavobathelium and Phyllobathelium,revealing it as an additional undescribed genus-level lineage being treated elsewhere.Within the new genus Serusiauxiella,three new species are described:Serusiauxiella filifera sp.nov.,S.flagellata sp.nov.,and S.sinensis sp.nov.In addition,ten new combinations are proposed:Phylloporis austropunctata comb.nov.,P.radiata comb.nov.,P.vulgaris comb.nov.,Puiggariella confluens comb.et stat.nov.,P.nemathora comb.nov.,P.nigrocincta comb.nov.,Racoplaca maculata comb.nov.,R.melanobapha comb.nov.,R.transversoundulata,and R.tremens comb.nov.We also report on a peculiar,previously unrecognized growth behaviour of the macroconidial appendages in Strigula s.lat. | Shu‑Hua Jiang Robert Lücking Amanda Barreto Xavier‑Leite Marcela E.S.Cáceres AndréAptroot Carlos Vinas Portilla Jiang‑Chun Wei | 2020 | Fungal Diversity2020，，3： | 5 |
| 4 | Anemia in patients with high-risk acute coronary syndromes admitted to Intensive Cardiac Care Units显示文摘Background Little information exists about the role of anemia in patients with acute coronary syndromes(ACS)admitted to Intensive Cardiac Care Units(ICCU).The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of anemia and its impact on management and outcomes in this clinical setting.Methods All consecutive patients admitted to eight different ICCUs with diagnosis of non-ST segment elevation ACS(NSTEACS)were prospectively included.Anemia was defined as hemoglobin<130 g/L in men and<120 g/L in women.The association between anemia and mortality or readmission at six months was assessed by the Cox regression method.Results A total of 629 patients were included.Mean age was 66.6 years.A total of 197 patients(31.3%)had anemia.Coronary angiography was performed in most patients(96.2%).Patients with anemia were significantly older,with a higher prevalence of comorbidities,poorer left ventricle ejection fraction and higher GRACE score values.Patients with anemia underwent less often coronary angiography,but underwent more often intraaortic counterpulsation,non-invasive mechanical ventilation and renal replacement therapies.Both ICCU and hospital stay were significantly longer in patients with anemia.Both the incidence of mortality(HR=3.36,95%CI:1.43–7.85,P=0.001)and the incidence of mortality/readmission were significantly higher in patients with anemia(HR=2.80,95%CI:2.03–3.86,P=0.001).After adjusting for confounders,the association between anemia and mortality/readmission remained significant(P=0.031).Conclusions Almost one of three NSTEACS patients admitted to ICCU had anemia.Most patients underwent coronary angiography.Anemia was independently associated to poorer outcomes at 6 months. | Victoria Lorente Jaime Aboal Cosme Garcia Jordi Sans-Rosello Antonia Sambola Rut Andrea Carlos Tomas Gil Bonet David Vinas Nabil el Ouaddi Santiago Montero Javier Cantalapiedra Margarida Pujol Isabel Hernandez Maria Perez-Rodriguez Isaac Llao Jose C Sanchez-Salado Miquel Gual Albert Ariza-Sole 无 | 2020 | Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2020，17，1： | 2 |
