| 1 | 上颌窦底提升不同高度对种植义齿受力影响的三维有限元分析显示文摘目的:研究上颌窦底提升后种植义齿修复时,不同提升高度对种植体-骨界面应力状况的影响,为其临床应用提供生物力学参考依据。方法:采用健康志愿者的CT扫描数据,通过Mimics 11.0软件,建立上颌第一磨牙缺失、含上颌窦的上颌骨三维有限元模型,并模拟植入10 mm长标准种植体1枚。模拟上颌骨骨量不足,建立上颌窦底分别提升2、4、6 mm的种植义齿模型,并以无需窦底提升的种植义齿模型为对照。分别从垂直、颊向30°和舌向30°三个方向,对种植义齿上部结构牙冠咬合面中心点施加100 N的集中载荷,用三维有限元分析方法对不同模型的种植体-骨界面进行应力分析。结果:各模型在同一加载条件下,皮质骨的应力最大,松质骨和人工骨的应力值接近。随着窦底提升高度的增高,种植体颈部周围骨组织的应力总体呈先降后升的趋势,在提升高度为4 mm时最小。颊舌向加载时产生的应力远大于垂直载荷下产生的应力。结论:上颌骨后部骨量不足时,上颌窦底提升植骨可以大大改善种植体-骨界面内应力,植骨高度为4 mm时,种植体-骨界面应力总体最小;垂直载荷更有利于种植体-骨界面的应力分布状况,在临床设计种植义齿上部结构时应尽量减小或避免斜向载荷。 | Turki AL-zabib 王佐林 | 2012 | 口腔颌面外科杂志2012,22,3: | 5 |
| 2 | Transcranial magnetic stimulation in animal models of neurodegeneration显示文摘Brain stimulation techniques offer powerful means of modulating the physiology of specific neural structures. In recent years, non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation(TMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation, have emerged as therapeutic tools for neurology and neuroscience. However, the possible repercussions of these techniques remain unclear, and there are few reports on the incisive recovery mechanisms through brain stimulation. Although several studies have recommended the use of non-invasive brain stimulation in clinical neuroscience, with a special emphasis on TMS, the suggested mechanisms of action have not been confirmed directly at the neural level. Insights into the neural mechanisms of non-invasive brain stimulation would unveil the strategies necessary to enhance the safety and efficacy of this progressive approach. Therefore, animal studies investigating the mechanisms of TMSinduced recovery at the neural level are crucial for the elaboration of non-invasive brain stimulation. Translational research done using animal models has several advantages and is able to investigate knowledge gaps by directly targeting neuronal levels. | 3 | Total knee arthroplasty:Effect of obesity and other patients' characteristics on operative duration and outcome显示文摘AIM: To examine the effects of patients' characteristics mainly obesity on operative duration and other outcomemeasures of knee arthroplasty. METHODS: This is a retrospective chart review of 204 patients who had knee arthroplasty within the past five years(2007-2011) at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The data collection form was developed utilizing the literature review to gather all the needed variables. Data were gathered from admission notes, nursing notes, operative reports and discharge summaries.RESULTS: A feasible sample of 204 patients were included in the study. Of those patients, 155(76%) were females. The mean age was 70.1 years for males(SD ± 9.4) and 62.7 years(SD ± 8) for females. Regarding the type of total knee replacement(TKR), 163(79.9%) patients had unilateral TKR and 41(20.1%) had bilateral TKR. Nine patients(4.4%) had a normal body mass index(BMI)(18.5 to < 25). Overweight patients(BMI 25 to < 30) represented 18.1%. Obesity class Ⅰ(BMI 30 to < 35) and obesity class Ⅱ(BMI from 35 to < 40) were present in 23% and 29.9% of the patients, respectively. Morbid obesity(BMI greater than 40) was present in 24.5%. The mean duration of surgery was 126.3 min(SD ± 30.8) for unilateral TKR and 216.6 min(SD ± 55.4) for bilateral TKR.The mean length of stay in the hospital was 12 d(SD ± 4.9). The complications that patients had after the operation included 2 patients(1%) who developed deep venous thrombosis, 2 patients(1%) developed surgical wound infections and none had pulmonary embolism. Patients' characteristics(including age, gender, BMI and co-morbidities) did not have an effect on the operative duration of knee replacement nor the length of hospital stay. | 4 | Physico-chemical and mechanical properties of Ti_3SiC_2-based materials elaborated from SiC/Ti by reactive spark plasma sintering显示文摘In this paper, the synthesis of Ti_3 SiC_2 from SiC/Ti powder using reactive spark plasma sintering(R-SPS) in the temperature range of 1300-1400 ℃ is reported. The results show that the purity of Ti_3 SiC_2 is improved up to 75 wt% when the holding time is increased from 10 to 20 min at1400 ℃. | 5 | Redistribution of nerve strain enables end-to-end repair under tension without inhibiting nerve regeneration显示文摘End-to-end repair under no or low tension leads to improved outcomes for transected nerves with short gaps,compared to repairs with a graft.However,grafts are typically used to enable a tension-free repair for moderate to large gaps,as excessive tension can cause repairs to fail and catastrophically impede recovery.In this study,we tested the hypothesis that unloading the repair interface by redistributing tension away from the site of repair is a safe and feasible strategy for end-to-end repair of larger nerve gaps.Further,we tested the hypothesis that such an approach does not adversely affect structural and functional regeneration.In this study,we used a rat sciatic nerve injury model to compare the integrity of repair and several regenerative outcomes following end-to-end repairs of nerve gaps of increasing size.In addition,we proposed the use of a novel implantable device to safely repair end-to-end repair of larger nerve gaps by redistributing tension away from the repair interface.Our data suggest that redistriubution of tension away from the site of repair enables safe end-to-end repair of larger gap sizes.In addition,structural and functional measures of regeneration were equal or enhanced in nerves repaired under tension – with or without a tension redistribution device – compared to tension-free repairs.Provided that repair integrity is maintained,end-to-end repairs under tension should be considered as a reasonable surgical strategy.All animal experiments were performed under the approval of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of University of California,San Diego(Protocol S11274). | Holly M.Howarth Turki Alaziz Brogan Nicolds Shawn O'Connor Sameer B.Shah | 2019 | Neural Regeneration Research2019,14,7: | 2 |
| 6 | Control of Tetranychus urticae Koch by extracts of three essential oils of chamomile,marjoram and Eucalyptus显示文摘Objective:To evaluate the acaricidal activity of extracts of three essential oils of chamomile,marjoram and Eucalyptwi against Tetranychus urtiaie(T.urticae.)Koch.Methods:Extracts of three essential oils of chamomile,marjoram and Eucalyptus with different concentrations(0.5%,1.0%,2.0%,3.0%and 4.0%)were used to control T.urticae Koch.Results:The results showed that chamomile(Chamomilla recutita)represented the most potent efficient acaricidal agent against Tetranychus followed by marjoram(Marjorana hortensis)and Eucalyptus.The LC_(50)values of chamomile,marjoram and Eucalyptus for adults were 0.65,1.84 and 2.18,respectively and for eggs 1.17,6.26 and 7.33,respectively.Activities of enzymes including glutathione-Stxansferase,esterase(α-esterase andβ-esterase)and alkaline phosphatase in susceptible mites were determined and activities of enzymes involved in the resistance of acaricides were proved.Protease enzyme was significantly decreased at LC_(50)of both chamomile and marjoram compared with positive control.Gas chromatography-mass spectrometer(CC-MS)proved that the major compositions of Chamomilla recutita areα-bisabolol oxide A(35.251%),and trans-3-farersene(7.758%),while the main components of Marjorana hortensis are terpincne-4-ol(23.860%),p-cymene(23.404%)and sabinene(10.904%).Conclusions:It can be concluded that extracts of three essential oils of chamomile,marjoram and Eucalyptus possess acaricidal activity against T.urticae. | Abd El-Moneim MR Afify Fatma S Ali Turky AF | 2012 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine2012,2,1: | 2 |

| 10 | Effect of environmental factors on species diversity of the Yenice Hot Spot Forests in Turkey显示文摘We quantified the diversity of vascular plant species and described soil properties and topographical and climatic conditions of the Citdere and Kavakli Nature Reserves in the Yenice Forest of Turkey. We used the Shannon-Weiner and Simpson's indices of diversity,Margalef's index of species richness and Pielou's evenness index to quantify the structure of vascular plant assemblages. We measured soil parameters(NO_3^-, NH_4^+,available P, Mg^(++), K^+, Na^+, Ca^(++), organic matter, pH,soil moisture), elevation, slope gradient and aspect and their correlations with plant community parameters. In total, we recorded and identified 207 species and subspecies in the study area. Species cover, richness and diversity indices varied significantly by vegetation type(P < 0.01). Available NO_3^- and Ca++ in the soil were important factors for the area and species representation in the species-environment correlations estimated for the Kavakli area.
