1High-performance asymmetric supercapacitors based on reduced graphene oxide/polyaniline composite electrodes with sandwich-like structure显示文摘The sandwich-like structure of reduced graphene oxide/polyaniline(RGO/PANI) hybrid electrode was prepared by electrochemical deposition. Both the voltage windows and electrolytes for electrochemical deposition of PANI and RGO were optimized. In the composites, PANI nanofibers were anchored on the surface of the RGO sheets, which avoids the re-stacking of neighboring sheets. The RGO/PANI composite electrode shows a high specific capacitance of 466 F/g at 2 m A/cm^2 than that of previously reported RGO/PANI composites. Asymmetric flexible supercapacitors applying RGO/PANI as positive electrode and carbon fiber cloth as negative electrode can be cycled reversibly in the high-voltage region of 0–1.6 V and displays intriguing performance with a maximum specific capacitance of 35.5 m F cm^(-2). Also, it delivers a high energy density of 45.5 m W h cm^(-2) at power density of 1250 m W cm^(-2). 2Construction of S-scheme MnO_(2)@CdS heterojunction with core–shell structure as H_(2)-production photocatalyst显示文摘Artificial photosynthesis is deemed as an efficient protocol for transforming abundant solar energy into valuable fuel. In this paper, the well-defined one-dimensional(1D) core–shell MnO_(2)@CdS hybrids were constructed by employing MnO_(2) nanotubes and CdS nanoparticles as nano-building blocks via a chemical coprecipitation route. The rationally designed core–shell structure provided an intimate heterojunction interface between the CdS shell and MnO_(2) core. All the MnO_(2)@CdS core–shell nanocomposites possess higher H_(2) evolution rate through visible light irradiation contrary to pristine CdS, and the optimal MnO_(2)@CdS hybrid exhibits the utmost H_(2) evolution rate of 3.94 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1), which is2.8-fold higher compared with that of CdS. Appertaining to XPS and Mott-Schottky(M-S) analysis, such enhanced photocatalytic H_(2) generation of MnO_(2)@CdS heterojunction was ascribed to an S-scheme mechanism, which suppressed the charge recombination along with a fast detachment of electron–hole pairs(e^(-)–h^(+)) and significantly improved the severance of carriers, thus improved H_(2) evolution performance. 4Quinone oxidoreductase 1 is overexpressed in gastric cancer and associated with outcome of adjuvant chemotherapy and survival显示文摘BACKGROUND Quinine oxidoreductase 1(NQO1)plays a vital role in protecting normal cells against oxidative damage and electrophilic attack.It is highly expressed in many solid tumors,suggesting a role in cancer development and progression.However,the role of NQO1 in gastric cancer and its effect on cancer development and prognosis have not been fully investigated.AIM To investigate the clinical relevance of NQO1 protein expression in gastric cancer and to explore the potential of NQO1 to serve as a prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target.METHODS In this retrospective study,gastric cancer specimens of 175 patients who were treated between 1995 and 2011 were subjected to immunohistochemistry analyses for NQO1.The correlation of NQO1 expression with gastric cancer prognosis and clinical and pathological parameters was investigated.RESULTS NQO1 protein was overexpressed in 59.43%(104/175)of the analyzed samples.Overexpression of NQO1 was associated with a significantly inferior prognosis.In addition,multivariate analysis suggested that NQO1 overexpression,along with tumor stage and patient age,are prominent prognostic biomarkers for gastric cancer.Moreover,NQO1 overexpression was correlated to a better response to 5-fluorouracil(5-FU)-based adjuvant chemotherapy.CONCLUSION NQO1 overexpression is associated with a significantly poor prognosis and better response to 5-FU in patients with gastric cancer.These findings are relevant for improving therapeutic approaches for gastric cancer patients.Zhi-Nong Jiang Syed Minhaj Uddin Ahmed Qin-Chuan Wang Hong-Fei Shi Xiu-Wen Tang 2021World Journal of Gastroenterology2021,27,22:2
