1Characterization of particulate matter from diesel passenger cars tested on chassis dynamometers显示文摘Emission characterization of particle number as well as particle mass from three diesel passenger cars equipped with diesel particulate filter(DPF), diesel oxidation catalyst(DOC)and exhaust gas recirculation(EGR) under the vehicle driving cycles and regulatory cycle.Total particle number emissions(PNEs) decreased gradually during speed-up of vehicle from 17.3 to 97.3 km/hr. As the average vehicle speed increases, the size-segregated peak of particle number concentration shifts to smaller size ranges of particles. The correlation analysis with various particulate components such as particle number concentration(PNC),ultrafine particle number concentration(UFPNC) and particulate matter(PM) mass was conducted to compare gaseous compounds(CO, CO_2, HC and NOx). The UFPNC and PM were not only emitted highly in Seoul during severe traffic jam conditions, but also have good correlation with hydrocarbons and NOxinfluencing high potential on secondary aerosol generation. The effect of the dilution temperature on total PNC under the New European Driving Cycle(NEDC), was slightly higher than the dilution ratio. In addition, the nuclei mode(DP: ≤ 13 nm) was confirmed to be more sensitive to the dilution temperature rather than other particle size ranges. Comparison with particle composition between vehicle speed cycles and regulatory cycle showed that sulfate was slightly increased at regulatory cycle, while other components were relatively similar. During cold start test, semivolatile nucleation particles were increased due to effect of cold environment. 3CORROSION AND MECHANICAL BEHAVIOR OF COPPER-NIOBIUM NANO-FILAMENTARY MICRO-COMPOSITES FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE ELECTRICAL CONDUCTOR WIRE显示文摘Corrosion behavior of heavily drawn bundled Copper-niobium filamentary micro-composite was studied as a function of niobium content to develop the relationship between microstructure and corrosion behavior in aqueous 30% HCI-FeCl3 solution. TEM observation revealed that niobium filaments were distributed regularly in copper matrix along the sides of a triangular unit cell in the transverse section and more sub-grain boundaries were absorbed at copper/niobium phase boundaries with increasing niobium content. The corrosion potential and rate in aqueous 30% HC1-10% Fe Cl3 was -680.3mVSHE and 1.179×10-5 A/cm2. The corrosion potential and rate decreased as increasing niobium content and FeCl3. The yield stress can be described as the sum of the substructure strengthening component due to elongated grains, subgrains and/or cells, the phase boundary strengthening term associated with the Hall-Petch type interaction between dislocations and phase boundaries and precipitate strengthening component.Y Choi1), T.W.Lim1) and S.I. 7Three cases of jejunal tumors detected by standard upper gastrointestinal endoscopy:A case series显示文摘BACKGROUND In patients with obscure gastrointestinal bleeding,re-examination with standard upper endoscopes by experienced physicians will identify culprit lesions in a substantial proportion of patients.A common practice is to insert an adult-sized forward-viewing endoscope into the second part of the duodenum.When the endoscope tip enters after the papilla,which is a marker for the descending part of the duodenum,it is difficult to endoscopically judge how far the duodenum has been traversed beyond the second part.CASE SUMMARY We experienced three cases of proximal jejunal masses that were diagnosed by standard upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and confirmed with surgery.The patients visited the hospital with a history of melena;during the initial upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and colonoscopy,the bleeding site was not confirmed.Upper gastrointestinal bleeding was suspected;thus,according to guidelines,upper endoscopy was performed again.A hemorrhagic mass was discovered in the small intestine.The lesion of the first patient was thought to be located in the duodenum when considering the general insertion depth of a typical upper gastrointestinal endoscope;however,during surgery,it was confirmed that it was in the jejunum.After the first case,lesions in the second and third patients were detected at the jejunum by inserting the standard upper endoscope as deep as possible.CONCLUSION The deep insertion of standard endoscopes is useful for the diagnosis of obscure gastrointestinal bleeding.Jaesun Lee Sunmoon Kim Daesung Kim Sangeok Lee Kihyun Ryu 2023World Journal of Clinical Cases2023,11,4:0
8CORROSION AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF Ti_3Al-Nb-Mo COMPOSITES FOR BIO-AND ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS PREMRED BY SELF-PROMGATING HIGH TEMPERATURE REACTION显示文摘Ti3 AL-Nb-Mo composites were prepared by SHS using initial powder mixtures of Ti-Al-Nb-Mo and their corrosion and mechanical properties were studied to develop bioand environmental materials. The composites reached 99.8% of theoretical density after the direct consolidation. The composites shows equiaxed primary a2 in a matrix of fine secondary a2 plates and ordered 82 (Bo) forming a basket weave structure. The strain rate sensitivity (m = dlnσ/dlne) at 2% strain is 0.008. Corrosion potential and corrosion rate of the composites formed by SHS were -151. 5m VSHE and 5. 72× 10-8A/cm2 for Ti3 Al-10Nb-1. 5Mo and - 138.4m VSHE and 4. 12×10-8cm2 for Ti3 Al-12Nb-1.5Mo in a 50% NaOH-10%FeCI3 solution, respectively. Corrosion resistance decreased with niobium content in the composites and chloride content in the aqueous solution. Selective corrosion of a2 phase in a matrix occurred in the corrosion environment which suggests that the corrosion potential and rate changes are related to the niobium content and Q2 phase in a matrix.Y Choi1), N.I. 9Sulfur-doped graphene anchoring of ultrafine Au25 nanoclusters for electrocatalysis显示文摘The biggest challenge of exploring the catalytic properties of under-coordinated nanoclusters is the issue of stability.We demonstrate herein that chemical dopants on sulfur-doped graphene(S-G)can be utilized to stabilize ultrafine(sub-2 nm)Au_(25)(PET)18 clusters to enable stable nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)without significant structural degradation.The Au_(25)@S-G exhibits an ammonia yield rate of 27.5μgNH_(3)·mgAu^(-1)·h^(-1)at-0.5 V with faradic efficiency of 2.3%.More importantly,the anchored clusters preserve~80%NRR activity after four days of continuous operation,a significant improvement over the 15%remaining ammonia production rate for clusters loaded on undoped graphene tested under the same conditions.Isotope labeling experiments confirmed the ammonia was a direct reaction product of N2 feeding gas instead of other chemical contaminations.Ex-situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray absorption near-edge spectroscopy of post-reaction catalysts reveal that the sulfur dopant plays a critical role in stabilizing the chemical state and coordination environment of Au atoms in clusters.Further ReaxFF molecular dynamics(RMD)simulation confirmed the strong interaction between Au nanoclusters(NCs)and S-G.This substrate-anchoring process could serve as an effective strategy to study ultrafine nanoclusters’electrocatalytic behavior while minimizing the destruction of the under-coordinated surface motif under harsh electrochemical reaction conditions.Mufan Li Bei Zhang Tao Cheng Sunmoon Yu Sheena Louisia Chubai Chen Shouping Chen Stefano Cestellos-Blanco William AGoddard III Peidong Yang 2021Nano Research2021,14,10:0
