3Optimization of microstructures and magnetic properties of Sm(Co_(bal)Fe_(0.227)Cu_(0.07)Zr_(0.023))_(7.6) magnets by sintering treatment显示文摘Magnetic properties and microstructures of Sm(Co_(bal)Fe_(0.227)Cu_(0.07)Zr_(0.023_)_(7.6) sintered magnets were optimized by sintering treatment. Results show that the knee-point magnetic field, Hknee, is twofold up and the intrinsic coercivity Hcjincreases by 40%, ranging from 21.64 to 30.39 kOe at the cost of a little decrease of Brfrom 10.84 to 10.31 kGs with sintering temperature decreasing from 1488 to 1473 K. And the average domain width is narrower and more uniform for the specimen sintered at 1473 K than that of the specimen sintered at 1488 K. It is impressive that the density of lamellar phase increases from ~0.050 to ~0.058 nm^(-1) with the sintering temperature decreasing from 1488 to 1473 K. Moreover, the average cellular size is about ~84 nm for the magnets sintered at 1473 K, which is 80% of that of the magnets sintered at 1488 K(~97 nm). And the cell boundary width of the magnets sintered at 1473 K(~7 nm) is only half average width of the magnets sintered at 1488 K(~14 nm). It is found that the Cu content in the cell boundaries is much higher(~17 at%) in the magnets sintered at 1473 K compared to that of the magnets sintered at 1488 K(~10 at%). 4Tuning the base properties of Mg–Al hydrotalcite catalysts using their memory effect显示文摘Herein,the relationship between the structure and base properties of Mg–Al hydrotalcite catalysts was comprehensively investigated in relation to heat treatment and rehydration processes,which are well known as memory effects of hydrotalcite.The structure of Mg–Al hydrotalcites changed from layered double hydroxide(LDH)to mixed metal oxide and subsequently to a spinel structure during heat treatment,and it was returned from mixed metal oxide to a LDH structure by rehydration.Based on various characterizations,we successfully proposed a detailed mechanism of memory effect.We also confirmed that the Mg–Al hydrotalcites had weak or strong base sites and that their base properties could be systematically tuned by heat treatment and rehydration.The prepared Mg–Al hydrotalcites were applied to a model reaction,isomerization of glucose to fructose,as base catalysts.Among the catalysts tested,the rehydrated Mg–Al hydrotalcite efficiently produced fructose due to its appropriate base and structure properties.We finally concluded that the base sites of Mg–Al hydrotalcites can be designed as desired by heat treatment and rehydration.Moreover,through systematic design of the base sites of Mg–Al hydrotalcites,these can be promising catalysts for various heterogeneous reactions over base catalysts,giving excellent catalytic performances.Dahye Kwon Ji Yeon Kang Suna An Inchan Yang Ji Chul Jung 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7:6
5Interesting rendezvous location in a liver transplantation patient with anastomosis stricture显示文摘An endoscopic or radiologic percutaneous approach may be an initial minimally invasive method for treating biliary strictures after living donor liver transplantation; however, cannulation of biliary strictures is sometimes difficult due to the presence of a sharp or twisted angle within the stricture or a complete stricture. When an angulated or twisted biliary stricture interrupts passage of a guidewire over the stricture, it is difficult to replace the percutaneous biliary drainage catheter with inside stents by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. The rendezvous technique can be used to overcome this difficulty. In addition to the classical rendezvous method, in cases with complete transection of the common bile duct a modified technique involving the insertion of a snare into the subhepatic space has been successfully performed. 7Serum arylesterase and paraoxonase activity in patients with chronic hepatitis显示文摘AIM: To investigate the relationship between serum paraoxonase (PON1), AST, ALT, GGT, and arylesterase (AE) activity alterations and the degree of liver damage in patients with chronic hepatitis.METHODS: We studied 34 chronic hepatitis patients and 32 control subjects, aged between 35 and 65 years,in the Department of Infection and Clinical Microbiology at the Firat University School of Medicine. Blood samples were collected from subjects between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. following a 12-h fast. Baseline and salt-stimulated PON1 activities were measured by the hydrolysis of paraoxon. Phenyl acetate was used as the substrate and formed phenol was measured spectrophotometrically at 270 nm after the addition of a 10-fold diluted serum sample in AE activity measurements.RESULTS: The results of this investigation revealed that the levels of AE activity decreased from 132±52 to 94±36 (29%), baseline PON1 activity from 452±112 to 164±67 (64%), salt-stimulated PON1 activity from 746±394 to 294±220 (61%), HDL from 58.4±5.1 to 47.2±5.6(20%), triglyceride from 133±51.2 to 86±34.0 (35%),while a slight increase in the level of LDL (from 163±54.1 to 177.3±56.0; 9%) and significant increases in the levels of AST (from 29±9.3 to 98±44), ALP (from 57.2±13.1 to 91±38.1), ALT (from 27.9±3.32 to 89±19.1), GGT (from 24.3±2.10 to 94±48.2), total bilirubin (from 0.74±0.02 to 1.36±0.06; 84%) and direct bilirubin (from 0.18±0.01 to 0.42±0.04; 133%) were detected.However, the levels of albumin, total protein, cholesterol,and uric acid were almost the same in chronic hepatitis and the control subjects.CONCLUSION: Low PON1 and AE activity may contribute to the increased liver dysfunction in chronic hepatitis patients by reducing the ability of HDL to retard LDL oxidation and might be clinically useful for monitoring the disease of chronic hepatitis.Suleyman Sirri Kilic Suleyman Aydin Nermin Kilic Fazilet Erman Suna Aydin Ilhami Celik 2005World Journal of Gastroenterology2005,11,46:4

Silk fibroin can be processed into a variety of formats to match different applications, such as tissue engineering, drug delivery or as the passive substrate of a bio-device. Advances in fabrication technologies provide new possibilities for the combination of silk fibroin with other nanomaterials to functionalize silk fibroin for specialized purposes, including sensing, cell visualization,resistance to ultraviolet light and provision of antibacterial properties. As the requirement for wearable and intelligent devices has become increasingly important over recent years, silk fibroin has been utilized as the active element in electronic and optical instruments. 9On-demand design of spectrally sensitive multiband absorbers using an artificial neural network显示文摘We report an approach assisted by deep learning to design spectrally sensitive multiband absorbers that work in the visible range.We propose a five-layered metal-insulator-metal grating structure composed of aluminum and silicon dioxide,and we design its structural parameters by using an artificial neural network(ANN).For a spectrally sensitive design,spectral information of resonant wavelengths is additionally provided as input as well as the reflection spectrum.The ANN facilitates highly robust design of a grating structure that has an average mean squared error(MSE)of 0.023.The optical properties of the designed structures are validated using electromagnetic simulations and experiments.Analysis of design results for gradually changing target wavelengths of input shows that the trained ANN can learn physical knowledge from data.We also propose a method to reduce the size of the ANN by exploiting observations of the trained ANN for practical applications.Our design method can also be applied to design various nanophotonic structures that are particularly sensitive to resonant wavelengths,such as spectroscopic detection and multi-color applications.Sunae So Younghwan Yang Taejun Lee Junsuk Rho 2021Photonics Research2021,9,4:4

11Solvent-and metal-directed lanthanide-organic frameworks based on pamoic acid:observation of slow magnetization relaxation,magnetocaloric effect and luminescent sensing显示文摘Two types of lanthanide coordination polymers, namely, [Ln(PA)(NO_3)(DMA)_3]_n(Ln=Gd(1), Dy(2), Eu(3), Tb(4))(type I), and {[Ln_2(PA)_3(DMF)_4]·2DMF}(Ln=Eu(5), Tb(6))(type II)(PA=Pamoic acid, DMA=dimethylacetamide,DMF=N,N-dimethylformamide), have been synthesized by the reaction of Ln(NO_3)_3·6H_2O with pamoic acid through layer diffusion method. These complexes were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, infrared spectroscopy(IR),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA), fluorescence and magnetic measurements. Solvents and lanthanide atoms in the reaction play an important role in controlling different structures. Type I demonstrated 1-D linear chain structure connected by Ln atoms and PA ligands. Type II exhibited non-interpenetrating 3-D 6-connected 4_36^(12) nets based on binuclear [Ln_2(CO_2)_6(DMF)_4] cores.Magnetic properties of complexes 1–4 were investigated in details. Complex 1 shows significant magnetocaloric effect with–ΔS_m=20.37 J kg^(–1) K^(–1) at 3.0 K and 7 T. Complex 2 exhibits slow relaxation of the magnetization. Complexes 3–6 exhibit both ligand- and metal-centered fluorescent properties. 12Scintigraphic evaluation of gallbladder motor functions in H pylori positive and negative patients in the stomach with dyspepsia显示文摘AIM:To evaluate the relationship between gallbladder (GB) motor function and H pylori infection in the stomach. METHODS: All cases (86) underwent the 14C urea breath test (UBT). 14C-UBT was found as positive in 58 and negative in 28 dyspeptic patients. 14C- UBT was accepted as a gold standard test. Clo test and histopathologic examination were compared with the results of 14C-UBT in cases who tolerated upper gastrointestinal endoscopy procedure. Cholescintigraphy with 99mTc-mebrofenin was used to determine the parameters of GB motor function (GB filling and emptying time, half of the emptying time, ejection fraction at 30th and 60th min) in all patients. RESULTS: We found the sensitivity and specificity as 88% and 86% for Clo test and as 89% and 80% for histologic evaluation, respectively. The parameters of GB function were not significantly different in H pylori positive and negative patients. The GB emptying was normal in both groups. Minimum GB filling time was 30 min in 34 of 86 cases (39.5%), filling was not observed in 2 cases. The GB ultrasonography (USG) results were normal for all cases and bile composition abnormality was not determined.CONCLUSION: Our study showed that 14C-UBT is highly reliable method to detect the presence of H pylori. 15High Refractive Index Ti3O5 Films for Dielectric Metasurfaces显示文摘Ti_3 O_5 films are deposited with the help of an electron beam evaporator for their applications in metasurfaces.The film of subwavelength(632 nm) thickness is deposited on a silicon substrate and annealed at 400°C. The ellipsometr.y result shows a high refractive index above 2.5 with the minimum absorption coefficient in the visible region, which is necessary for high efficiency of transparent metasurfaces. Atomic force microscopy analysis is employed to measure the roughness of the as-deposited films. It is seen from micrographs that the deposited films are very smooth with the minimum roughness to prevent scattering and absorption losses for metasurface devices. The absence of grains and cracks can be seen by scanning electron microscope analysis, which is favorable for electron beam lithography. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy reveals the transmission and reflection obtained from the film deposited on glass substrates. 163D Printed Gelatin Scaffold with Improved Shape Fidelity and Cytocompatibility by Using Antheraea pernyi Silk Fibroin Nanofibers显示文摘Gelatin(G)is a commonly used natural biomaterial owing to its good biocompatibility and easy availability.However,using pure gelatin as a bioink can barely achieve an ideal shape fidelity in 3D printing.In this study,Antheraea pernyi silk fibroin nanofibers(ASFNFs)with arginine-glycine-aspartic acid(RGD)peptide and partial natural silk structure are extracted and combined with pure gelatin bioink to simultaneously improve the shape fidelity and cytocompatibility of corresponding 3D printed scaffold.Results show that the optimum printing temperature is 30℃ for these bioinks.The printed filaments using 16G/4ASFNFs bioink(16wt%gelatin and 4wt%ASFNFs)demonstrate better morphology and larger pore size than those printed by pure gelatin bioink(20G,20wt%gelatin),thus successfully improve the shape fidelity and porosity of the 3D printed scaffold.The 16G/4ASFNFs scaffold also demonstrate higher swelling ratio and faster degradation rate than the pure gelatin scaffold.Moreover,the cell viability and proliferation ability of Schwann cells cultured on the 16G/4ASFNFs scaffold are significantly superior than those cultured on the pure 20G scaffold.The ASFNFs enhanced 16G/4ASFNFs scaffold reported here are expected to be a candidate with excellent potential for biomedical applications.Shengzhi Zou Suna Fan Ana L.Oliveira Xiang Yao Yaopeng Zhang Huili Shao 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,4:2
1712q24 locus association with type 1 diabetes:SH2B3 or ATXN2?显示文摘Genetic linkage analyses, genome-wide association studies of single nucleotide polymorphisms, copy number variation surveys, and mutation screenings found the human chromosomal 12q24 locus, with the genes SH2B3 and ATXN2 in its core, to be associated with an exceptionally wide spectrum of disease susceptibilities. Hematopoietic traits of red and white blood cells(like erythrocytosis and myeloproliferative disease), autoimmune disorders(like type 1 diabetes, coeliac disease, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, thrombotic antiphospholipid syndrome, lupus erythematosus, multiple sclerosis, hypothyroidism and vitiligo), also vascular pathology(like kidney glomerular filtration rate deficits, serum urate levels, plasma beta-2-microglobulin levels, retinal microcirculation problems, diastolic and systolic blood pressure and hypertension, cardiovascular infarction), furthermore obesity, neurodegenerative conditions(like the polyglutamine-expansion disorder spinocerebellar ataxia type 2, Parkinson's disease, the motor-neuron disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and progressive supranuclear palsy), andfinally longevity were reported. Now it is important to clarify, in which ways the loss or gain of function of the locally encoded proteins SH2B3/LNK and ataxin-2, respectively, contribute to these polygenic health problems. SH2B3/LNK is known to repress the JAK2/ABL1 dependent proliferation of white blood cells. Its null mutations in human and mouse are triggers of autoimmune traits and leukemia(acute lymphoblastic leukemia or chronic myeloid leukemia-like), while missense mutations were found in erythrocytosis-1 patients. Ataxin-2 is known to act on RNA-processing and trophic receptor internalization. While its polyglutamine-expansion mediated gain-of-function causes neuronal atrophy in human and mouse, its deletion leads to obesity and insulin resistance in mice.
