3Role and effect of vein-transplanted human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells in the repair of diabetic foot ulcers in rats显示文摘Diabetic foot ulcer(DFU)is one of diabetic complications,which is frequently present and tormented in diabetes mellitus.Most multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells(MSCs)are capable of immune evasion,providing an allogeneic,ready-to-use,cell product option for therapeutic applications.The beneficial effect of MSCs for the treatment of a variety of traumatic injuries,such as open wounds,has been extensively explored.In this study,a rat DFU model was used to simulate the pathophysiology of clinical patients and to investigate the localization of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells(hUC-MSCs)after intravenous transplantation and its role in DFU healing,so as to evaluate the potential of hUC-MSCs in the treatment of DFU.The diabetic rat model was established by streptozotocin injection,which was used to create full-thickness foot dorsal skin wounds to mimic DFU by a 6-mm skin biopsy punch and a Westcott scissor.The hUC-MSCs were transplanted through femoral vein,and the ulcer cicatrization situation and the fate of hUC-MSCs were evaluated.Our data suggest that intravenously transplantated hUC-MSCs have the ability to migrate and locate to the wound tissue and are helpful to wound healing in DFU rats,partly by regulating inflammation,trans-differentiation and providing growth factors that promote angiogenesis,cell proliferation and collagen deposition.Herein,we demonstrate that hUC-MSC transplantation is able to accelerate DFU healing in rats and transplantation of exogenous stem cells may be a potential strategy for clinical application in DFUs.Rongfeng Shi Weishuai Lian Yinpeng Jin Chuanwu Cao Shilong Han Xiaohu Yang Suming Zhao Maoquan Li Hui Zhao 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,6:13
4Optimized design and test for a pendulum suspension of the crop spray boom in dynamic conditions based on a six DOF motion simulator显示文摘Spray deposit distribution from a field sprayer is mainly affected by the boom movements when the tractor is driven over a rough soil surface,the pendulum suspension that used to reduce and control the movement of spray boom by isolating the boom from vibrations of the tractor will directly enhance uniform deposition of chemicals.However,how to match the parameters of the suspension with the properties of the boom is the key problem.The dynamic rigid-flexible coupling model of the virtual prototype of the spray boom suspension system was established by using ADAMS and ABAQUS software.An optimization of the suspension parameters for a large spay boom was carried out based on the optimal Latin hypercube design,radial basis function neural network,and multi-objective genetic algorithm NSGA-II.After modified parameters of the suspension,the travel of the sprayer on a typical field motion track was simulated based on a six DOF motion simulator,and the dynamic behavior of the boom suspension was measured.The results show that RMS of the measured boom roll angle and the boom center displacement for optimized solution were reduced by 14.76%and 12.43%compared with the original suspension.Finally,the inertial measurement unit(IMU)was used to measure the movements of the sprayer vehicle during the pesticide application on the Hongze Lake Farm,the experiment of field condition reproduced by using the six DOF motion simulator,the standard deviation of the roll angle and vibration displacement for the optimized sprayer boom are only 0.6382°and 62.279 mm respectively.The research provides theoretical basis and experimental method for parameter optimization of large scale boom suspension.Longfei Cui Hanping Mao Xinyu Xue Suming Ding Baiyu Qiao 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,3:9

7A capacitive sensor based on molecularly imprinted polymers and poly(p-aminobenzene sulfonic acid) film for detection of pazufloxacin mesilate显示文摘A novel capacitive sensor for pazufloxacin mesilate (pazufloxacin) determination was developed by electropolymerizing p-aminobenzene sulfonic (p-ABSA) and molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs), which was synthesized through thermal radical copolymerization of metharylic acid (MAA) and ethyl-ene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) in the presence of pazufloxacin template molecules, on the gold electrode surface. Furthermore, 1-dedecanethiol was used to insulate the modified electrode. Alter-nating current (ac) impedance experiments were carried out with a Model IM6e to obtain the capaci-tance responses. Under the optimum conditions, the sensor showed linear capacitance response to pazufloxacin in the range of 5 ng·mL-1 to 5 μg·mL-1 with a relative standard deviation (RSD) 5.3% (n=7) and a detection limit of 1.8 ng·mL-1. The recoveries for different concentration levels of pazufloxacin samples varied from 94.0% to 102.0%. 8Design and experiment of electro hydraulic active suspension for controlling the rolling motion of spray boom显示文摘Boom sprayer is one of the most commonly used plant protection machinery for spraying pesticide.Studies have shown that the efficiency of chemicals is highly correlated with the uniformity of spray distribution patterns.As the boom is a large and flexible structure,boom rolling leads to overlapping and leakage of the pesticides.In order to improve spray uniformity,the boom attitude should be kept parallel to the ground slope or to the crop canopy beneath the boom.Passive suspension can attenuate frequencies above its resonance frequency,but nothing can be done to align the boom to the sloping ground.Therefore,an active suspension system is designed,which includes DSP-based controller,a servo valve,a hydraulic cylinder,two ultrasonic sensors,one inertial attitude sensor,and the developed control procedures.In order to prevent the wrong response of the control system caused by the high frequency component due to uneven crop canopy or rough ground.A special signal processing algorithm was proposed,including the limiting filter,smoothing algorithm and data fusion algorithm based on optimal weight.The transient and steady-state performances of the boom control system using velocity feedforward PID algorithm were tested on a six DOF motion simulator.It can be seen that the low-frequency tracking performance of the boom was greatly improved after the electro-hydraulic active suspension was added.At the resonance frequency,the peak angle of active suspension and passive suspensions are 0.72°and 1.29°respectively,and the resonance peak is greatly reduced.The controller was implemented on a self-propelled boom sprayer and validated under field conditions,the standard deviation of the roll angle of the boom with active suspension is 0.40°,compared with 1.04°of the sprayer chassis.Experimental results show that the active suspension control system can effectively reduce the effect of ground excitation disturbance on the application process,and has good tracking performance for low frequency terrain change.Longfei Cui Xinyu Xue Feixiang Le Hanping Mao Suming Ding 2019International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2019,12,4:3
9Relationship among plasma endothelin, calcitonin gene-related peptide and blood flow rate of bilateral vertebral arteries in patients with cervical vertigo显示文摘Objective: To investigate the relationship among plasma endothelin(ET), calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP) and blood flow rate of bilateral vertebral arteries in patients with cervical vertigo(CV) and to assess the effect of ET and CGRP on the onset of CV. Methods:The concentration of ET and CGRP in 64 patients with CV and 30 controls was determined by radioimmunity method. The average blood flow velocity (Vm) of bilateral vertebral arteries was detected by Transcranial Doppler(TCD). Results:Plasma concen- tration of ET(91.48± 9.08 pg/ml) and ET/CGRP ratio value(2.88± 0.52) in vertebrobasilar arteriospasm group were both higher than those in vertebrobasilar non-arteriospasm group and in controls, while CGRP concentration(30.66± 6.05 pg/ml) in vertebrobasilar arteriospasm group was lower than that in vertebrobasilar non-arteriospasm group and controls respectively. The Vm of bilateral verte- bral arteries in vertebrobasilar arteriospasm group(67.97± 11.64 cm/s ) was higher than that in vertebrobasilar non-arteriospasm group and controls respectively, having a positive correlation with ET concentration and ET/CGRP ratio value(r1=0.52, P < 0.05; r2=0.59, P < 0.05), but a negative correlation with CGRP concentration(r3=-0.54, P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in ET and CGRP concentration, ET/CGRP ratio value and the Vm of bilateral vertebral arteries between vertebrobasilar non-arteriospasm group and the control group. Conclusion: All the results indicate that ET and CGRP are possibly the most important substance factors at the onset of CV with vertebrobasilar arteriospasm, and their imbalance of regulating vertebrobasilar arterial contraction and relaxation may play an important role in the onset of CV with vertebrobasilar arteriospasm.Jiajun Wei Jinzhi Xu Suming Zhang 2008Journal of Nanjing Medical University2008,22,3:3
10Morphology of the ascending aorta: a study on 114 Chinese patients显示文摘Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the morphological characteristics of ascending aortic dissection in detail. Materials and Methods: The ascending aorta was morphologically assessed in a consecutive series of patients between January 2009 and October 2014. A new assessment and evaluation method was used to describe 114 patients with ascending aortic dissection. Results: A large difference was found in the degree of curvature between the ascending aorta with and without dissection. The shape of the former was straighter and steeper(control group R, 47.46 ± 6.40 mm; experimental group R, 59.70 ± 10.27 mm, P < 0.001). In the case of aortic dissection involving the valves, the proximal edge of the first entry was obviously close to the aortic sinus. The orientation of the entries was mainly around the 10 o'clock and 1–2 o'clock positions, and most of their shapes were fusiform(111; 70.02%). The distance of the distal extending dissection was associated with cases involving the branch arteries(involving three branches 441.40 ± 101.13 mm vs 159.85 ± 131.86 mm in others, P < 0.001). 11Uterine artery embolization combined with ultrasound-guided dilation and 5–8-year follow-up study显示文摘Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of uterine artery embolization(UAE) combined with dilation and curettage(D&C) using ultrasound as a treatment for cesarean scar pregnancy(CSP) and assess its effect on ovarian and reproductive function.Methods: A total of 54 patients with uterine CSP between January 2011 and December 2015 were included in this retrospective study. The patients were treated with UAE combined with D&C using ultrasound for the treatment of CSP and followed up for 5–8 years. Their medical records, medical histories, clinical manifestations, treatment courses, and treatment results were analyzed.Results: The 54 patients were initially treated without severe complications. β-Human chorionic gonadotropin(β-hCG) normalization took 36.11 ± 10.73 days(range, 25–84 days), length of hospitalization was 6.6 ± 1.5 days(range, 4–10 days), and total blood loss was 18.48 ± 8.41 mL(range, 5–33 mL). All patients resumed normal menstruation after 33.48 ± 8.71 days(range, 26–70 days). At the 5–8-year follow-up after UAE combined with D&C by ultrasound for the treatment of uterine CSP, the menstrual volume in 32(59.3%) patients decreased versus before the operation. Compared with pretreatment, the menstrual cycle was prolonged in two(3.7%) cases,shortened in 10(18.5%) cases, irregular in one(1.9%) case, and unchanged in 39(72.2%) cases. Three patients conceived naturally and successfully gave birth to healthy children. Seven(12.96%) patients with accidental natural pregnancies chose induced abortion with no significant change in their sex lives.Conclusion: UAE combined with D&C using ultrasound for the treatment of uterine CSP is safe and effective and may not affect the fertility of patients aged <40 years. 12Uncovering growth species of multivariate MOFs in liquid phase by mass spectrometry显示文摘The unveiling of MOF growth mechanism is hampered by the lack of fundamental knowledge about the very early stage of nucleation,especially the form and ratio of molecular species in the solution for crystal growth.Herein,we report the detection of growth species for a series of MOFs with mono-linker,CuMOF-2-BDC and Cu-MOF-2-NDC,and two linkers,MTV-MOF-2-(C_(4)H_(4))x,by high resolution ESI-MS,where a large variety of Cu-containing species are identified unambiguously.The solvent molecules such as H_(2)O,methanol and DMF participate in the formation of these species,other than ethanol.Furthermore,in the growth solution of MTV-MOF-2-(C_(4)H_(4))x,growth species containing two different organic linkers are observed.The feeding ratio is not the only factor controlling the distribution of growth species for MTVMOFs,but also the solvent involves in coordination,an aspect usually overlooked previously.Jinli Han Suming Chen Xiaochun Zhou Hexiang Deng 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8:2
13Absolute instability modes due to rescattering of stimulated Raman scattering in a large nonuniform plasma显示文摘Absolute instability modes due to secondary scattering of stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in a large nonuniform plasma are studied theoretically and numerically. The backscattered light of convective SRS can be considered as a pump light with a finite bandwidth. The different frequency components of the backscattered light can be coupled to develop absolute SRS instability near their quarter-critical densities via rescattering process. The absolute SRS mode develops a Langmuir wave with a high phase velocity of about c/■ with c the light speed in vacuum. Given that most electrons are at low velocities in the linear stage, the absolute SRS mode grows with very weak Landau damping. When the interaction evolves into the nonlinear regime, the Langmuir wave can heat abundant electrons up to a few hundred ke V via the SRS rescattering. Our theoretical model is validated by particle-in-cell simulations. 14Mild hypothermia effects on matrix metalloproteinase-9 expression in the perihematomal region of rats following experimental intracerebral hemorrhage显示文摘BACKGROUND: Matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) expression increases with intracerebral hemorrhage, and participates in the pathophysiological processes of secondary brain injury after intracerebral hemorrhage. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of mild hypothermia on MMP-9 expression and brain edema in the perihematomal region of experimental intracerebral hemorrhage rats. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: The randomized, controlled experiment was performed at the Central Laboratory of Shandong Provincial Hospital between May and September 2007. MATERIALS: Seventy-two, Wistar, male rats, 12-weeks old, were used for this study. Rabbit anti-MMP-9 primary antibody was purchased from Boster, China. METHODS: Wistar rats were equally and randomly divided into normothermia and mild hypothermia groups. The two groups each comprised control, 6-hour intracerebral hemorrhage, 24-hour intracerebral hemorrhage, 48-hour intracerebral hemorrhage, 72-hour intracerebral hemorrhage, and 1-week intracerebral hemorrhage subgroups, with six rats in each subgroup. Rat models of intracerebral hemorrhage were established by injecting 100 μL of autologous blood into the rat caudate nucleus. Rats in the mild hypothermia group received four hours of local mild hypothermia immediately following the injection. Intracerebral temperature was maintained at (33 ± 0.5) ℃. Subsequently, intracerebral temperature was spontaneously recovered at 25 ℃. Rats in the control subgroup were not injected with autologous blood and received only with intracerebral hemorrhage. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Brain water content and MMP-9 expression surrounding the hematoma region. RESULTS: MMP-9 expression increased at 6 hours, and brain edema reached a peak at 48 hours after intracerebral hemorrhage. MMP-9 expression was significantly decreased in the mild hypothermia group compared with the normothermia group at each time point (P < 0.05). 15Re-evaluation of the mechanical properties and creep resistance of commercial magnesium die-casting alloy AE44显示文摘This paper presents a re-evaluation of the room temperature mechanical properties and high temperature creep resistance of magnesium die-casting alloy AE44(Mg-4Al-4RE)in light of the influence of minor Mn addition.It is shown that the Mn-containing AE44 exhibits distinct age hardening response upon direct ageing(T5)due to the precipitation of nanoscale Al-Mn particles,as reported previously in a similar alloy.The T5 ageing leads to a significant improvement in strength with similar ductility.Consequently,the T5-aged AE44 has a remarkably better strength-ductility combination than most Mg die-casting alloys and even the Al die-casting alloy A380.Minor Mn addition is also shown to be critical for the creep resistance of AE44 whereas the influence of the RE constituent is not as significant as previously thought,which reaffirms that precipitation hardening of theα-Mg matrix is more important than grain boundary reinforcement by intermetallic phases for the creep resistance of die-cast Mg alloys.The findings in this work could provide new application perspectives for AE44,particularly in the automotive industry.Suming Zhu Trevor B.Abbott Jian-Feng Nie Hua Qian Ang Dong Qiu Kazuhiro Nogita Mark A.Easton 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,5:2

18Singularity detection of the rabbit electrocardiogram:An evolutionary spectral method显示文摘The time-frequency characteristics of the spectral density of non-stationary signals(NSS) in the neighborhood of an instant time point can be determined using the evolutionary spectral analysis.An experimental rabbit model involving ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery to simulate the physiology of early phase myocardial ischemia(EPMI) has been previously described.Clinically,EPMI derived from left coronary artery stenosis is the main symptom of coronary heart diseases including acute myocardial infarction.Here,we propose a new algorithm for estimating the evolutionary spectral density functions,which is an effective approach to determine the instantaneous frequency spectra(IFS) of NSS under the uncertainty principle in the time-frequency domain.The localization singularity information in the data recorded from a living system could be detected by means of the IFS.Electrocardiogram(ECG) data recorded from experimental rabbits were analyzed with the new algorithm.Results showed that the Q's value of the evolutionary spectral quality number of the QRS-complex data was the characteristic parameter of ECG,and there was a matched connection between the time-frequency characteristics of QRS-complex data and the myocardial ischemia symptoms of the rabbits.These results provide valuable information regarding features of the EPMI for use in clinical diagnoses.Xinyuan Liu Dingwu He Liuqing Pei Suming Zhang 2009Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2009,19,10:2
