| 1 | JAK-STAT pathway in carcinogenesis:Is it relevant to cholangiocarcinoma progression?显示文摘The features of JAK-STAT signaling in liver cells are discussed in the current review. The role of this signaling cascade in carcinogenesis is accentuated. The possible involvement of this pathway and alteration of its elements are compared for normal cholangiocytes, cholangiocarcinoma predisposition and development. Prolactin and interleukin-6 are described in detail as the best studied examples. | 4 | Nontrivial coupling of light into a defect:the interplay of nonlinearity and topology显示文摘The flourishing of topological photonics in the last decade was achieved mainly due to developments in linear topological photonic structures.However,when nonlinearity is introduced,many intriguing questions arise.For example,are there universal fingerprints of the underlying topology when modes are coupled by nonlinearity,and what can happen to topological invariants during nonlinear propagation?To explore these questions,we experimentally demonstrate nonlinearity-induced coupling of light into topologically protected edge states using a photonic platform and develop a general theoretical framework for interpreting the mode-coupling dynamics in nonlinear topological systems.Performed on laser-written photonic Su-Schrieffer-Heeger lattices,our experiments show the nonlinear coupling of light into a nontrivial edge or interface defect channel that is otherwise not permissible due to topological protection.Our theory explains all the observations well.Furthermore,we introduce the concepts of inherited and emergent nonlinear topological phenomena as well as a protocol capable of revealing the interplay of nonlinearity and topology.These concepts are applicable to other nonlinear topological systems,both in higher dimensions and beyond our photonic platform. | Shiqi Xia Dario Jukic Nan Wang Daria Smirnova Lev Smirnov Liqin Tang Daohong Song Alexander Szameit Daniel Leykam Jingjun Xu Zhigang Chen Hrvoje Buljan | 2020 | Light(Science & Applications)2020,9,1: | 3 |

| 12 | Peculiarities of the rheological behavior and structure formation of aluminum under deformation at near-solidus temperatures显示文摘This paper deals with a peculiar rheological behavior of aluminum at near-solidus temperatures. It has been experimentally established that there is an inverse strain rate dependence of strain resistance at temperatures ranging between 560 and 640°С and strain rates ranging from 0.06 to 1.2 s^(-1). Electron backscatter diffraction analysis has shown that at temperatures ranging between 540 and 640°С and strain rates ranging from 0.06 to 0.1 s^(-1), the main process of softening is dynamic polygonization, resulting in in situ recrystallization. At higher strain rates, ranging between 0.8 and 1.2 s~(^(-1)), and temperatures ranging between 560 and 640°С, the recovery is dynamic. This unusual behavior of the mechanism of softening and the presence of the inverse strain rate dependence of strain resistance can be explained by blocking the motion of free dislocations by foreign atoms, which occurs at strain rates ranging between 0.06 and 0.1 s^(-1). This process results in dislocation pile-up, thereby causing in situ recrystallization. At strain rates exceeding 0.16 s^(-1), there is no intensive blocking of dislocations, leading to a direct strain rate dependence of strain resistance. | A. S. Smirnov A. V. Konovalov G. A.
