Research on evaluations of several grey relational models adapt to grey relational axioms显示文摘Grey relational analysis is an important part of the grey systems theory, and it is the basis of the grey clustering analysis, grey decision-making and grey controlling. To research whether grey relational models satisfy the four grey relational theorems, several kinds of grey relational models are commented. Some problems including the properties of normality, pair symmetry and wholeness are discussed. The phenomenon that the lower value of almost each grey relational model is not equal to zero is proved. The contradiction problems between the properties of wholeness and pair symmetry are verified. Finally, several propositions are constructed to explain the above problems. | Xie Naiming Liu Sifeng | 2009 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2009,20,2: | 34
Prediction model of interval grey number based on DGM(1,1)显示文摘In grey system theory, the studies in the field of grey prediction model are focused on real number sequences, rather than grey number ones.Hereby,a prediction model based on interval grey number sequences is proposed.By mining the geometric features of interval grey number sequences on a two-dimensional surface, all the interval grey numbers are converted into real numbers by means of certain algorithm, and then the prediction model is established based on those real number sequences. The entire process avoids the algebraic operations of grey number, and the prediction problem of interval grey number is usefully solved.Ultimately, through an example's program simulation, the validity and practicability of this novel model are verified. | Bo Zeng Sifeng Liu Naiming Xie | 2010 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2010,21,4: | 19
Evaluation of soil fertility of the shelter-forest land along the Tarim Desert Highway显示文摘To study the changes of soil fertility of the shelter-forest land along the Tarim Desert Highway, soils from the forest land were collected at the layers of 0―10 cm, 10―20 cm, 20―30 cm. Different soil fertility parameters were measured, and quantitative evaluation of soil fertility was performed by the soil integrated fertility index (IFI). The main results show that the construction of the shelter forest along the Tarim Desert Highway improved the soil physical structure, increased soil porosity and enhanced wa- ter-holding capacity. With the increase of plantation time of the shelter forest, soil microbial biomass C, N, P and the activities of six types of enzyme were enhanced, which promoted the accumulation and transformation of soil nutrients of the forest land. Consequently, the soil nutrients in 12-year-old forest land were much higher than in the newer ones and drifting sand. However, soil salt content of the older forest land was higher owing to the drip-irrigation with salt water. Through the comprehensive evalua- tion, we found that soil fertility index in the forest land was enhanced with the forest age, and it had close correlations with the growth indices of the forest trees. In summary, construction of the shelterforest along the Tarim Desert Highway accelerated the improvement of aeolian soil in the forest land, and the soil fertility improved year by year. We conclude that the forest trees grow normally under the stress of the present drip-irrigation with salt water. | JIN ZhengZhong LEI JiaQiang XU XinWen LI ShengYu ZHAO SiFeng QIU YongZhi XU Bo | 2008 | Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,S2: | 18
Interval grey number sequence prediction by using non-homogenous exponential discrete grey forecasting model显示文摘This paper aims to study a new grey prediction approach and its solution for forecasting the main system variable whose accurate value could not be collected while the potential value set could be defined. Based on the traditional nonhomogenous discrete grey forecasting model(NDGM), the interval grey number and its algebra operations are redefined and combined with the NDGM model to construct a new interval grey number sequence prediction approach. The solving principle of the model is analyzed, the new accuracy evaluation indices, i.e. mean absolute percentage error of mean value sequence(MAPEM) and mean percent of interval sequence simulating value set covered(MPSVSC), are defined and, the procedure of the interval grey number sequence based the NDGM(IG-NDGM) is given out. Finally, a numerical case is used to test the modelling accuracy of the proposed model. Results show that the proposed approach could solve the interval grey number sequence prediction problem and it is much better than the traditional DGM(1,1) model and GM(1,1) model. | Naiming Xie Sifeng Liu | 2015 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2015,26,1: | 18
Extension of TOPSIS for fuzzy multi-attribute decision making problem based on experimental analysis显示文摘This paper is concerned with a technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS) method for fuzzy multi-attribute decision making,in which the information about attribute weights is partly known and the attribute values take form of triangular fuzzy numbers.Considering the fact that the triangular fuzzy TOPSIS results yielded by different distance measures are different from others,a comparative analysis of triangular fuzzy TOPSIS ranking from each distance measure is illustrated with discussion on standard deviation.By applying the most reasonable distance, the deviation degrees between attribute values are measured.A linear programming model based on the maximal deviation of weighted attribute values is established to obtain the attribute weights. Therefore, alternatives are ranked by using TOPSIS method. Finally,a numerical example is given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the method. | Min Tian Yuanyuan He Sifeng Liu | 2010 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2010,21,3: | 16
The Effect of Toxic Sulfide Exposure on Oxygen Consumption and Oxidation Products in Urechis unicinctus(Echiura:Urechidae)显示文摘To investigate sulfide detoxification in Urechis unicinctus, oxygen consumption rate and sulfide detoxification productswere analyzed during sulfide exposure under controlled laboratory conditions. The results showed that oxygen consumption rateswere elevated significantly during 3 h sulfide exposure compared to the control(P<0.05).The concentration of sulfite in body walland hindgut of experimental worms increased significantly(P<0.05)when exposed to 50μmolL-1sulfide,reached a maximum at24 h and then decreased.Similar result was observed in worms exposed to 150μmolL-1sulfide except that sulfite concentrationreached a maximum at 12 h.Contents of thiosulfate in body wall and hindgut of U.unicinctus exposed to sulfide were also significantly higher than that of the control without sulfide exposure. In conclusion, during short-time sulfide exposure U.unicinctus mayraise oxygen consumption to detoxify toxic sulfide into sulfite and thiosulfate.Sulfide detoxification was restrained when the expo-sure time was prolonged or sulfide concentration was increased, which was indicated by decrease of sulfite, the intermediate productof sulfide detoxification. | WANG Sifeng ZHANG Zhifeng CUI He KANG Kyoung Ho MA Zhuojun | 2010 | Journal of Ocean University of China2010,9,2: | 10

Advances in tumor-endothelial cells co-culture and interaction on microfluidics显示文摘The metastasis in which the cancer cells degrade the extracellular matrix(ECM) and invade to the surrounding and far tissues of the body is the leading cause of mortality in cancer patients. With a lot of advancement in the field, yet the biological cause of metastasis are poorly understood. The microfluidic system provides advanced technology to reconstruct a variety of in vivo-like environment for studying the interactions between tumor cells(TCs) and endothelial cells(ECs). This review gives a brief account of both two-dimensional models and three-dimensional microfluidic systems for the analysis of TCs-ECs coculture as well as their applications to anti-cancer drug screening. Furthermore, the advanced methods for analyzing cell-to-cell interactions at single-cell level were also discussed. | Weiwei Li Mashooq Khan Sifeng Mao Shuo Feng Jin-Ming Lin | 2018 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2018,8,4: | 5
Stochastic model updating using distance discrimination analysis显示文摘This manuscript presents a stochastic model updating method, taking both uncertainties in models and variability in testing into account. The updated finite element(FE) models obtained through the proposed technique can aid in the analysis and design of structural systems. The authors developed a stochastic model updating method integrating distance discrimination analysis(DDA) and advanced Monte Carlo(MC) technique to(1) enable more efficient MC by using a response surface model,(2) calibrate parameters with an iterative test-analysis correlation based upon DDA, and(3) utilize and compare different distance functions as correlation metrics. Using DDA, the influence of distance functions on model updating results is analyzed. The proposed stochastic method makes it possible to obtain a precise model updating outcome with acceptable calculation cost. The stochastic method is demonstrated on a helicopter case study updated using both Euclidian and Mahalanobis distance metrics. It is observed that the selected distance function influences the iterative calibration process and thus, the calibration outcome, indicating that an integration of different metrics might yield improved results. | Deng Zhongmin Bi Sifeng Sez Atamturktur | 2014 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2014,27,5: | 5
TWO-STAGE ORDERING DECISION FOR A SHORT-LIFE-CYCLE PRODUCT显示文摘This paper investigates the ordering decision problem for a short-life-cycle product under Bayesian updating. For a product characterized by a single manufacturing cycle and two selling periods, we depict a Two-Stage (TS) ordering strategy with a stochastic dynamic programming model in the view of the whole system, and prove that the expected profit function of the whole system is concave on the first ordering quantity and the remedial ordering quantity, respectively. Then, the optimal ordering decision is developed. Finally, characteristics of the optimal ordering quantities are analyzed with several examples. Our results show that the suggested TS decision model is better than a Quick Response (QR) decision model. | Bin LIU Jian CHEN Shu WU Sifeng LIU | 2006 | Journal of Systems Science and Systems Engineering2006,15,3: | 5
Influences of processing parameters on microstructure during investment casting of nickel-base single crystal superalloy DD3显示文摘The effects of solidification variables on the as-cast microstructures of nickel-base single crystal superalloy DD3 have been investigated by using the modified Bridgman apparatus. The experiments were performed under a thermal gradient of approximately 45 K·cm-1 and at withdrawal rates ranging from 30 to 200 m·s-1.The experimental results show that the primary and secondary dendritic arm spacings(PDAS and SDAS) decrease when the withdrawal rate is increased.Compared with the theoretical models of PDAS,the results are in good agreement with Trivedi's model. The relationships of PDAS and SDAS with withdrawal rates can be described as ? 1 =649.7V -0.24±0.02 and? 2 =281V -0.32±0.03 ,respectively. In addition, the size of theγ′phase significantly decreases with increasing withdrawal rate. | Gao Sifeng Liu Lin Xu Yiku Yang Chubin Zhang Jun Fu Hengzhi | 2012 | China Foundry2012,9,2: | 4

Preparation and Dynamic Tensile Behavior of C200 Green Reactive Powder Concrete显示文摘A new type of green reactive powder concrete (GRPC) with compressive strength of 200 MPa is prepared by utilizing composite mineral admixtures, natural fine aggregates, and short and fine steel fibers. The quasi-static mechanical properties (mechanical strength, toughness, fracture energy and interfacial bonding strength) of GRPC specimens, cured in three different types of regimes, are investigated. The experimental results show that the mechanical properties of the C200 GRPC made with the powder binders that is composed of 40% of Portland cement, 25% of ultra fine slag, 25% of ultra fine fly ash and 10% of silica fume are better than the others'. The corresponding compressive strength, flexural strength and fracture energy are more than 200 MPa, and 30 000 J/ m2 respectively. The dynamic tensile behavior of the C200 GRPC is also investigated through the split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) according to the spalling phenomenon. The dynamic testing results demonstrate that strain rate has an important effect on the dynamic tensile behavior of GRPC. With the increase of strain rate, its peak stress and relevant strain increase. The GRPC exhibits an excellent strain ratio stiffening effect under the dynamic tensile load with high strain ratio, resulting in a significant change of the fracture pattern. | ZHANG Yunsheng SUN Wei LIU Sifeng JIAO Chujie LAI Jianzhong | 2006 | Transactions of Tianjin University2006,12,B09: | 3
Denitrification and the controlling factors in Yunnan Plateau Lakes(China): Exploring the role of enhanced internal nitrogen cycling by algal blooms显示文摘Denitrification plays an important role in nitrogen(N) removal in freshwater ecosystems. This internal process regulates the fluctuations of N concentration, especially for lakes with high nutrients concentrations and long residence time. Lakes in Yunnan plateau(southwestern China) provide typical cases, while studies in this region have been rare. Therefore, we studied denitrification of two lakes(Lake Dianchi in hypereutrophic state and Lake Erhai in mesotrophic) in this region. We used acetylene inhibition technique to quantify potential denitrification rate(PDR) of these lakes in April and August, 2015 and 2016. PDR of the sediments ranged 0–1.21 μmol/(N·m^2·hr), and that of overlying water ranged 0–0.24 μmol/(N·L·hr). Then, we used Least Angle Regression to determine the controlling factors for denitrification. Nutrients controlled PDR from two aspects: providing essential nitrogen sources; and affecting the richness and metabolism of denitrifying bacteria. In April, both aspects limited PDR; while only nitrogen sources limited PDR in August, due to depleted nitrate and enhanced denitrifying bacteria activity. Ammonia was most significant to denitrification, indicating that nitrate from nitrification transported to the bottom of wellmixed lake provide major N source by denitrification. The high PDR and low nitrate concentrate in August were evidence of an enhanced internal N cycling by algal blooms. | Sifeng Wu Zhen Wu Zhongyao Liang Yong Liu Yilin Wang | 2019 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2019,31,2: | 3

Using the Fractional Order Method to Generalize Strengthening Buffer Operator and Weakening Buffer Operator显示文摘To reveal the relationship between a weakening buffer operator and strengthening buffer operator, the traditional integer order buffer operator is extended to one that is fractional order. Fractional order buffer operator not only can generalize the weakening buffer operator and the strengthening buffer operator, but also results in small adjustments of the buffer effect. The effectiveness of the grey model(GM(1,1)) with the fractional order buffer operator is validated by six cases. | Lifeng Wu Sifeng Liu Yingjie Yang | 2018 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2018,5,6: | 2
Characteristics of the soil microbial population in forest land irrigated with saline water in the desert area显示文摘The study of soil microbial populations and diversity is an important way to understanding the soil energy process. In this study we analyzed the characteristics of soil microbial populations of the Tarim Desert Highway shelter-forest,by identifying microbial fatty acids and using methods of conventional cul-tivation.The results illustrated that the amount of soil microbial activity and the diversity of soil microbial fatty acid increased significantly with the plantation age of the shelter-forest;the soil microbial population was dominated by bacteria. The fatty acids of C14︰0,C15︰0,C16︰0,C17︰0,C18︰1ω9,C18︰0,C18︰2ω6 and C21︰0 were found to be dominant soil microbial fatty acids in the shelter-forest soil.Prin-cipal analysis and regression analysis showed that(1) concentrations of fatty acids of C14︰0,C16︰0 and C18︰0 could be used as indicators of total soil microbial population;(2) soil bacteria and actinomycetes populations were closely correlated with the amount of fatty acids of C15︰0 and C17︰0;and(3) soil fungi were closely correlated with the amount of fatty acids of C18︰1ω9 and C18︰2ω6. | Jin, ZhengZhong Lei, JiaQiang Xu, XinWen Li, ShengYu Fan, JingLong Zhao, SiFeng | 2010 | Journal of Arid Land2010,2,2: | 2
Prediction of efficient outputs based on GM(1,N) model and weak DEA efficiency显示文摘This paper expresses the efficient outputs of decisionmaking unit(DMU) as the sum of 'average outputs' forecasted by a GM(1,N) model and 'increased outputs' which reflect the difficulty to realize efficient outputs. The increased outputs are solved by linear programming using data envelopment analysis efficiency theories, wherein a new sample is introduced whose inputs are equal to the budget in the issue No.n + 1 and outputs are forecasted by the GM(1,N) model. The shortcoming in the existing methods that the forecasted efficient outputs may be less than the possible actual outputs according to developing trends of input-output rate in the periods of pre-n is overcome. The new prediction method provides decision-makers with more decisionmaking information, and the initial conditions are easy to be given. | Jiefang Wang Sifeng Liu | 2011 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2011,22,6: | 2
Estimation of failure probability in braced excavation using Bayesian networks with integrated model updating显示文摘A probabilistic model is proposed that uses observation data to estimate failure probabilities during excavations. The model integrates a Bayesian network and distanced-based Bayesian model updating. In the network, the movement of a retaining wall is selected as the indicator of failure, and the observed ground surface settlement is used to update the soil parameters. The responses of wall deflection and ground surface settlement are accurately predicted using finite element analysis. An artificial neural network is employed to construct the response surface relationship using the aforementioned input factors. The proposed model effectively estimates the uncertainty of influential factors.A case study of a braced excavation is presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed approach. The update results facilitate accurate estimates according to the target value, from which the corresponding probabilities of failure are obtained. The proposed model enables failure probabilities to be determined with real-time result updating. | Longxue He Yong Liu Sifeng Bi Li Wang Matteo Broggi Michael Beer | 2020 | Underground Space2020,5,4: | 2
