1Clustering by Fast Search and Find of Density Peaks with Data Field显示文摘A clustering algorithm named 'Clustering by fast search and find of density peaks' is for finding the centers of clusters quickly. Its accuracy excessively depended on the threshold, and no efficient way was given to select its suitable value, i.e., the value was suggested be estimated on the basis of empirical experience. A new way is proposed to automatically extract the optimal value of threshold by using the potential entropy of data field from the original dataset. For any dataset to be clustered, the threshold can be calculated from the dataset objectively instead of empirical estimation. 2Cavitation flow simulation for a centrifugal pump at a low flow rate显示文摘A computational model on the basis of the combination of the full cavitation model and the modified re-normalization group (RNG) k-ε turbulence model are used to simulate the cavitating flow in a centrifugal pump at a low flow rate. A filter function is introduced for the RNG k-ε turbulence model in order to consider the compressibility in the cavitating flow. The calculated values of the net positive suction head available (H NPSHa ) agree well with the experimental measurements. 3Effects of Meridional Flow Passage Shape on Hydraulic Performance of Mixed-flow Pump Impellers显示文摘During the process of designing the mixed-flow pump impeller, the meridional flow passage shape directly affects the obtained meridional flow field, which then has an influence on the three-dimensional impeller shape. However, the meridional flow passage shape is too complicated to be described by a simple formula for now. Therefore, reasonable parameter selection for the meridional flow passage is essential to the investigation. In order to explore the effects of the meridional flow passage shape on the impeller design and the hydraulic performance of the mixed-flow pump, the hub and shroud radius ratio (HSRR) of impeller and the outlet diffusion angle (ODA) of outlet zone are selected as the meridional flow passage parameters. 25 mixed-flow pump impellers, with specific speed of 496 under the design condition, are designed with various parameter combinations. Among these impellers, one with HSRR of 1.94 and ODA of 90° is selected to carry out the model test and the obtained experimental results are used to verify accuracies of the head and the hydraulic efficiency predicted by numerical simulation. Based on SIMPLE algorithm and standard k-ε two-equation turbulence model, the three-dimensional steady incompressible Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes equations are solved and the effects of different parameters on hydraulic performance of mixed-flow pump impellers are analyzed. The analysis results demonstrate that there are optimal values of HSRR and ODA available, so the hydraulic performance and the internal flow of mixed-flow pumps can be improved by selecting appropriate values for the meridional flow passage parameters. 5Experimental study of the effect of blade tip clearance and blade angle error on the performance of mixed-flow pump显示文摘The hydraulic performance test of the mixed-flow pump has been carried out through selecting different blade tip clearances and various blade angle errors.The ratio of the mixed-flow pump efficiency reduction and the blade tip clearance variation(η/δ) varies with the flow rate coefficient revealing a parabolic trend.An empirical equation has been developed for the mixed-flow pump model by parabolic fitting.For the same blade tip clearance variation δ,the mixed-flow pump efficiency reduction η increases rapidly as the flow rate rises.For any given flow rate,the efficiency,the head and the shaft power of the mixed-flow pump all decrease with the increase of the blade tip clearance.Among them,the efficiency reduction η varies approximately linearly with the blade tip clearance variation δ.When the angle of an individual blade of the mixed-flow pump has a deviation,the performance curves will move and change.These curves have consistent change directions with the performance curves under the condition of all the blades rotated at the same time,but have smaller offset and lower range of variation.When an individual blade angle error changes to ±2°,the optimal efficiency of the mixed-flow pump will have no significant difference.When the individual blade angle error increases to ±4°,the optimal efficiency will decrease by 1%.BING Hao CAO ShuLiang HE ChengLian LU Li 2013Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,2:13
6Geo-rough Space显示文摘Rough set is a new approach to uncertainties in spatial analysis.In this paper,rough set symbols are simplified and standardized in terms of rough interpretation and specialized indication.Rough spatial entities and their topological relationships are also proposed in rough space,thus a universal intersected equation is developed,and rough membership function is further extended with the gray scale in our case study.We complete three works.First,a set of simplified rough symbols is advanced on the basis of existing rough symbols.Second,rough spatial entity is put forward to study the real world as it is,without forcing uncertainties into crisp set.Third,rough spatial topological relationships are studied by using rough matrix and their figures.The relationships are divided into three types,crisp entity and crisp entity (CC),rough entity and crisp entity (RC),and rough entity and rough entity (RR).A universal intersected equation is further proposed.Finally,the maximum and minimum maps of river thematic classification are generated via rough membership function and rough relationships in our case study.WANG Shuliang LI Deren SHI Wenzhong WANG Xinzhou 2003Geo-Spatial Information Science2003,6,1:12
7Influence of Blade Wrap Angle on Centrifugal Pump Performance by Numerical and Experimental Study显示文摘The existing research on improving the hydraulic performance of centrifugal pumps mainly focuses on the design method and the parameter optimization.The traditional design method for centrifugal impellers relies more on experience of engineers that typically only satisfies the continuity equation of the fluid.In this study,on the basis of the direct and inverse iteration design method which simultaneously solves the continuity and motion equations of the fluid and shapes the blade geometry by controlling the wrap angle,three centrifugal pump impellers are designed by altering blade wrap angles while keeping other parameters constant.The three-dimensional flow fields in three centrifugal pumps are numerically simulated,and the simulation results illustrate that the blade with larger wrap angle has more powerful control ability on the flow pattern in impeller.The three pumps have nearly the same pressure distributions at the small flow rate,but the pressure gradient increase in the pump with the largest wrap angle is smoother than the other two pumps at the design and large flow rates.The pump head and efficiency are also influenced by the blade wrap angle.The highest head and efficiency are also observed for the largest angle.An experiment rig is designed and built to test the performance of the pump with the largest wrap angle.The test results show that the wide space of its efficiency area and the stability of its operation ensure the excellent performance of the design method and verify the numerical analysis.The analysis on influence of the blade wrap angle for centrifugal pump performance in this paper can be beneficial to the optimization design of the centrifugal pump.TAN Lei ZHU Baoshan CAO Shuliang BING Hao WANG Yuming 2014Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,1:10
8Codimension 3 nonresonant bifurcations of homoclinic orbits with two inclination flips显示文摘Homoclinic bifurcations in four-dimensional vector fields are investigated by setting up a local coordinate near a homoclinic orbit. This homoclinic orbit is principal but its stable and unstable foliations take inclination flip. The existence, nonexistence, and uniqueness of the 1-homoclinic orbit and 1-periodic orbit are studied. The existence of the two-fold 1-periodic orbit and three-fold 1 -periodic orbit are also obtained. 9A Collaborative Filtering Recommendation Algorithm Based on Item and Cloud Model显示文摘Recommender system is an important content in the research of E-commerce technology. Collaborative filtering recom-mendation algorithm has already been used successfully at recom-mender system. However,with the development of E-commerce,the difficulties of the extreme sparsity of user rating data have become more and more severe. Based on the traditional similarity measuring methods,we introduce the cloud model and combine it with the item-based collaborative filtering recommendation algorithms. The new collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm based on item and cloud model (IC-Based CF) computes the similarity de-gree between items by comparing the statistical characteristic of items. 10Effect of a Traditional Chinese Medicine combined therapy on adolescent idiopathic scoliosis:a randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness of a combined Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) therapy versus conventional treatment on adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.METHODS:One hundred twenty outpatients with mild and moderate adolescent idiopathic scoliosis were randomly divided into a TCM group(TCMG)and a brace group(CG).TCMG patients underwent Daoyin,Tuina,and acupotomology therapies.CG patients were treated with a Milwaukee brace.Each patient's Cobb angle was measured after 12 and 24 months of treatment,and pulmonary function was determined after 12 months of treatment.Average electromyogram(AEMG) ratio of the surface electromyogram was measured after 6 and 12 months of treatment and followed-up after 18 and 24 months.RESULTS:The Cobb angle significantly decreased in both groups after 12 months of treatment compared with before treatment(P< 0.05).The percentages of original Cobb angle in TCMG and CG were51.4%and 47.8%(P > 0.05) after 12 months and62.5%and 34.7%(P < 0.05) after 24 months,respectively.Pulmonary function significantly improved after 12 months in TCMG(P < 0.05) but significantly decreased in CG(P < 0.05).The AEMG ratio was significantly lower(P < 0.01) and tended to remain at1 after stopping treatment in TCMG,but increased in CG(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:TCM combined therapy can prevent the progression of scoliosis.The AEMG ratio is a promising index that could replace radiography in the evaluation of treatment effect and progression in scoliosis.Wei Hui Xu Jinyuan Jiang Zhong Ye Shuliang Song Hongquan Ning Xitao Huang Huanmin Chen Wei Pei Jianwei Jiang Nengyi Chen Shao Du Honggen 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,5:9
11Prediction method of impeller performance and analysis of loss mechanism for mixed-flow pump显示文摘A loss model for the mixed-flow pump impellers was developed by summarizing a variety of loss calculation formulas systematically.The internal flow field of the impeller was obtained by employing the iterative calculation for S 1 and S 2 stream surfaces to solve the continuity and motion equations of fluid.Based on the calculation method of the flow field and the loss model,it is achieved to predict the impeller performance of the mixed-flow pump and the performance curves of a mixed-flow pump model with adjustable blades.Compared with the test data,the loss model of the mixed-flow pump based on the iterative calculation can predict the impeller performance quickly and accurately,which has a high value on the engineering applications.Based on the test verification,curves of various kinds of losses varied for the flow rate were analyzed under different blade angles.In addition,the mechanisms of various kinds of losses inside the mixed-flow pump impeller were discussed in-depth.BING Hao TAN Lei CAO ShuLiang LU Li 2012Science China(Technological Sciences)2012,55,7:8

13Multi-parameter optimization design, numerical simulation and performance test of mixed-flow pump impeller显示文摘On the basis of the three-dimensional design platform of the mixed-flow pump impellers, an optimization design system was developed in this paper by improving the genetic algorithm with application of both strategies of keeping the optimal individual and employing the niche. This system took the highest efficiency of the impeller as the optimization objective and employed P, a0 , △θh and △θt , which could directly affect the shape and the position of the blade, as optimization parameters. In addition, loss model was used to obtain fast and accurate prediction of the impeller efficiency. The optimization results illustrated that this system had advantages such as high accuracy and fine convergence, thus to effectively improve the design of the mixed-flow pump impellers. Numerical simulation was applied to determine the internal flow fields of the impeller obtained by optimization design, and to analyze both the relative velocity and the pressure distributions. 14Surface crack imaging based on delayed temperature difference at symmetric points by laser spot thermography显示文摘Laser spot thermography is a novel technique for the detection of surface cracks with a laser to heat sample locally and with an IR camera to record the surface temperature distribution. Common methods to characterize cracks are only suitable for the situation that the laser scanning path is vertical to the crack. But due to the randomness of cracks,when the scanning path is parallel to the crack,surface cracks cannot be detected by these methods. To tackle this problem,a method is presented which is suitable for the situation that the scanning path is parallel to crack. The main idea is to evaluate the crack-caused asymmetries of the surface temperature distribution. The effect of temperature gradient and the maximum scanning interval are analyzed by a 2D simulation. A new crack imaging technique is presented that is based on delayed temperature difference at symmetric points to characterize the crack in the thermal image. 15A novel selective autophagy receptor,CCDC50,delivers K63 polyubiquitination-activated RIG-I/MDA5 for degradation during viral infection显示文摘Autophagy is a con served process that delivers cytosolic substa nces to the lysosome for degradatio n,but its direct role in the regulation of antiviral inn ate immu nity remains poorly un derstood.Here,through high-throughput screeni ng,we discovered that CCDC50 functions as a previously unknown autophagy receptor that negatively regulates the type I interferon(IFN)signaling pathway initiated by RIG-I-like receptors(RLRs),the sensors for RNA viruses.The expression of CCDC50 is enhanced by viral infection,and CCDC50 specifically recognizes K63-polyubiquitinated RLRs,thus delivering the activated RIG-I/MDA5 for autophagic degradation.The associatio n of CCDC50 with phagophore membrane protei n LC3 is con firmed by crystal structure analysis.In contrast to other known autophagic cargo receptors that associate with either the LIR-docking site(LDS)or the UIMdocking site(UDS)of LC3,CCDC50 can bind to both LDS and UDS,representing a new type of cargo receptor.In mouse models with RNA virus infection,CCDC50 deficiency reduces the autophagic degradation of RIG-I/MDA5 and promotes type I IFN responses,resulting in enhaneed viral resistance and improved survival rates.These results reveal a new link between autophagy and antiviral innate immune resp on ses and provide additional in sights into the regulatory mecha nisms of RLR-mediated antiviral signaling.Panpan Hou Kongxiang Yang Penghui Jia Lan Liu Yuxin Lin Zibo Li Jun Li Shuliang Chen Shuting Guo Ji'An Pan Junyu Wu Hong Peng Weijie Zeng Chunmei Li Yingfang Liu Deyin Guo 2021Cell Research2021,31,1:5
16Experimental Study of the Influence of Flow Passage Subtle Variation on Mixed-flow Pump Performance显示文摘In the mixed-flow pump design,the shape of the flow passage can directly affect the flow capacity and the internal flow,thus influencing hydraulic performance,cavitation performance and operation stability of the mixed-flow pump.However,there is currently a lack of experimental research on the influence mechanism.Therefore,in order to analyze the effects of subtle variations of the flow passage on the mixed-flow pump performance,the frustum cone surface of the end part of inlet contraction flow passage of the mixed-flow pump is processed into a cylindrical surface and a test rig is built to carry out the hydraulic performance experiment.In this experiment,parameters,such as the head,the efficiency,and the shaft power,are measured,and the pressure fluctuation and the noise signal are also collected.The research results suggest that after processing the inlet flow passage,the head of the mixed-flow pump significantly goes down;the best efficiency of the mixed-flow pump drops by approximately 1.5%,the efficiency decreases more significantly under the large flow rate;the shaft power slightly increases under the large flow rate,slightly decreases under the small flow rate.In addition,the pressure fluctuation amplitudes on both the impeller inlet and the diffuser outlet increase significantly with more drastic pressure fluctuations and significantly lower stability of the internal flow of the mixed-flow pump.At the same time,the noise dramatically increases.Overall speaking,the subtle variation of the inlet flow passage leads to a significant change of the mixed-flow pump performance,thus suggesting a special attention to the optimization of flow passage.This paper investigates the influence of the flow passage variation on the mixed-flow pump performance by experiment,which will benefit the optimal design of the flow passage of the mixed-flow pump.BING Hao CAO Shuliang 2014Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2014,27,3:5

18Radar maneuvering target tracking algorithm based on human cognition mechanism显示文摘Radar Maneuvering Targets Tracking(RMTT) in clutter is a quite challenging issue due to the errors in the models and the varying dynamics of the processes. Modern radar tracking system calls for the adaptive signal and data processing algorithm urgently to adapt the uncertainty of the environment. The mechanism of human cognition can help persons cope with the similar diffi-culties in visual tracking. Inspired by human cognition mechanism, a comprehensive method for RMTT is proposed. In the method, the model transition probability in Interacting Multiple Model(IMM) and the validation gate can be adjusted dynamically with target maneuver;the waveform in radar transmitter can vary with the perception of the environment.
