| 3 | Application of BEMD in Extraction of Magnetic Anomaly Components Associated with Sn-W Polymetallic Mineralization in SE Yunnan,SW China显示文摘The tin(Sn)-tungsten(W)polymetallic ore concentrated district in SE Yunnan is distributed at the junction region of the Yangtze Block,the Cathaysian Block and the Indosinian Block,where there are several giant deposits of tin,tungsten,copper,silver,lead,zinc and indium closely associated with a large scale Late Cretaceous magmatism.Bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition(BEMD)is used to extract aeromagnetic anomalous components at the survey scale of 1:200000 from the original aeromagnetic data of SE Yunnan.Four intrinsic mode functions(IMFs)and a residues component are obtained,which may reflect the geological structures and geological bodies at different spatial scales from high frequency to low frequency.The results are shown as follows:(1)Two different types of Precambrian basement in the study area were recognized:one is the Yangtze Block basement characterized by a strong positive magnetic anomaly,the other is the Cathaysian Block basement with a weak negative magnetic anomaly.The former consists of high grade metamorphic rocks including metamorphosed basic igneous rocks,while the latter consists of low grade metamorphosed sedimentary rocks.(2)The aeromagnetic anomalies associated with Sn-W polymetallic mineralization and related to granites in the study area illustrate a pattern of a skarnized alteration-mineralization zone with a positive ring magnetic anomaly enclosing a granitic intrusion with negative magnetic anomaly;(3)The ring positive magnetic anomaly zones enclosing the negative magnetic anomaly are defined as the SnW polymetallic ore-searching targets in the study area. | Chen Chen Xu Zhu Yongqing Chen Shouting Zhang Pengda Zhao | 2021 | Journal of Earth Science2021,32,2: | 2 |
| 4 | Integrated Exploration Model for Concealed Ore Deposit:A Case Study from Shuitou Fluorite Deposit,Inner Mongolia,North China显示文摘The demand for fluorite resource is increasing rapidly as most fluorite deposits on Earth’s surface have been exhausted.The newly discovered fluorite deposits in Inner Mongolia are hosted by Permian metamorphosed sandy slate,intermediate-acid intrusive rocks and Cretaceous volcanic sedimentary rocks.The ore bodies are strictly controlled by faults and buried by cover rocks.The feasibility and effectiveness of multi-techniques for prospecting concealed fluorite ore bodies are evaluated,and 10 anomalies are delineated.On the basis of geological features and effectiveness of different methods,the optimum combinations of ore prospecting techniques are proposed for the exploration of zonal type and burial type concealed fluorite ore bodies.Based on comprehensive researches,an integrated exploration model is proposed:(i)select key prospecting targets based on geological backgrounds,regional geochemical anomalies of F and Ca,and remote sensing images;(ii)identify the spatial distribution of low resistivity anomaly and ore-controlling structure from geophysical survey;(iii)evaluate the mineralization potential in fault zone based on F and Ca anomalies in key sections selected from low resistivity anomaly zones;and(iv)evaluate the mineralization potential and reveal the spatial distribution of fluorite ore bodies and ore-controlling faults based on integrated geophysical and geochemical anomalies.The integrated exploration model is verified to be a powerful tool for prospecting concealed fluorite ore bodies in coverage area. | Liang Wang Shouting Zhang Yi Fang Li Tang | 2021 | Journal of Earth Science2021,32,2: | 2 |
| 5 | Potential Deformation and Its Application to the Diagnosis of Heavy Precipitation in Mesoscale Convective Systems显示文摘Many observational studies have shown that deformation, like vertical vorticity and divergence, is closely related to the occurrence and distribution of strong precipitation. In this paper, to involve deformation in precipitation diagnosis, a new parameter called potential deformation(PD) is derived and then applied to precipitation detection within a simulated mesoscale convective system(MCS). It is shown that PD includes both stretching deformation and shearing deformation and shares similar characteristics with deformation insofar as it does not change with the rotating coordinate. Diagnosis of the simulated MCS reveals that PD performs well in tracing the MCS' precipitation. In terms of their distributional pattern, the large-value areas of PD are similar to the precipitation in the different development stages of the MCS. A detailed analysis of the physical processes contained within the PD shows that it can reflect the three-dimensional moisture variation,vertical wind shear and wind deformation within the MCS. These structures are usually a comprehensive reflection of the characteristics of the surface cold pool, rear inflow jet, downward cold air flow and upward warm moist flow within the precipitating convective cells. Among them, Pd modified zeolite PNA materials have received more attention because of their excellent NO_(x) storage capacity, anti-poisoning and hydrothermal stability and since Pd/zeolite PNA was proposed, a variety of advanced characterization methods have been applied to investigate its adsorption behavior and structure-performance relationship. The comprehension of the active sites and adsorption chemistry of Pd/zeolite PNA was also significantly improved. However, there are few reviews that systematically summarize the recent progress and application challenges in atomic-level understanding of this material. In this review, we summarized the latest research progress of Pd/zeolite PNA, including active adsorption sites, adsorption mechanism, material physicochemical properties, preparation methods, storage and release performance and structure-performance relationships. In addition, the deactivation challenges faced by Pd/zeolite PNA in practical applications, such as chemical poisoning, high temperature hydrothermal aging deactivation, etc., were also discussed at the micro-level, and some possible effective countermeasures are given.
