| 1 | Characteristics of acoustic emission signals in damp cracking coal rocks显示文摘A uniaxial load experiment on coal rocks at different stress rates was carried out, based on the characteristics of acoustic emission (AE) signals in cracking coal rocks, decomposition, de-noising and reconstruction for the AE signals through wavelet packet transform for solving the current problems created by the presence of noise in AE signals and the existing problems in AE signal processing. The results show that the various characteristics of AE signals in coal rocks cracking under different situations can be clearly reflected, after the AE signals are de-noised by the wavelet packet. Compared to dry coal rocks, the number of AE occurrences in damp coal rocks was significantly reduced, as well as the average amplitude. The number of AE occurrences in damp and dry coal rocks clearly increased with increases in the loading rate, but the largest amplitude of the AE signals in damp coal rocks has been reduced. | 5 | Applicable conditions for a classification system of aquifer-protective mining in hallow coal seams显示文摘Based on the conclusions of domestic and foreign research, we have analyzed the collapse-fall characteristics of overlying strata and the mechanism of aquifer-protective mining in shallow coal seam working faces at the Shendong Mine. We have selected the height of the water-conducting fracture zone in overlying strata as a composite index and established the applicable conditions of aquifer-protective mining in shallow coal seams with a multi-factor synthetic-index classification method. From our calculations and analyses of variance, we used factors such as the overlying strata strength, mining disturbing factors and rock integrity as related factors of the composite index. We have classified the applicable conditions of aquifer-protective mining in shallow coal seams into seven types by comparing the result of the height of water-conducting fractured zones of long-wall and short-wall working faces with the thickness of the bedrock, the thickness of the weathered zone and the size of safety coal-rock pillars. As a result, we propose the preliminary classification system of aquifer-protective mining in shallow coal seams. | 6 | BER Performance of FSO Communication System with Differential Signaling over Correlated Atmospheric Turbulence Fading显示文摘Free space optical(FSO) communication system with differential signaling possesses the advantage of requiring no channel state information and avoiding computational load or link throughput reduction compared to the systems with conventional receivers. In this work, we investigate bit error rate(BER) performance of this system over partially and fully correlated atmospheric turbulence fading. In order to conduct the above analysis, we obtain a probability density functions(PDF) of the channel fading on the differential signals and derive our instantaneous BER using differential signaling scheme. Based on these results, we develop two closed-form mathematical expressions for the average BER under fully correlated and partially correlated fading in the convergent infinite series confirmed by Cauchy’s ratio test. | 8 | Ultrasound-assisted microfeeding of fine powders显示文摘Ultrasonic microfeeding of powders is a new and promising method for use in solid freeforming and pharmaceutical dosing. In this work, computer-controlled microfeeding systems using ultrasonic vibration of a capillary were built. A wide range of controlled, stable rates of flow and switching control were achieved in the acoustic vibration system and uniform powder doses were obtained in the ultrasonic system. Experimental results show that nozzle diameter, transmission fluid depth, waveform, voltage amplitude, frequency and oscillation duration all influence the dose mass. Among these factors, nozzle diameter, voltage amplitude and oscillation duration can be best used to control the dose mass. | 9 | Ferric ion-ascorbic acid complex catalyzed calcium peroxide for organic wastewater treatment:Optimized by response surface method显示文摘Hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))disproportionation,iron precipitation,and narrow pH range are the drawbacks of traditional Fenton process.To surmount these barriers,we proposed a ferric ion(Fe^(3+))-ascorbic acid(AA)complex catalyzed calcium peroxide(CaO_(2))Fenton-like system to remove organic dyes in water.This collaborative Fe^(3+)/AA/CaO_(2)system presented an obvious improvement in the methyl orange(MO)decolorization,and also effectively eliminated other dyes.Response surface method was employed to optimize the running parameters for this coupling process.Under the optimized arguments(2.76 mmol/L Fe^(3+),0.68 mmol/L AA,and 4 mmol/L CaO_(2)),the MO removal achieved 98.90%after 15 min at pH 6.50,which was close to the computed outcome of 99.30%.Furthermore,this Fenton-like system could perform well in a wide range of pH(3-11),and enhance the H_(2)O_(2)decomposition and Fe ions recycle.The scavenger experiment result indicated that hydroxyl radical,superoxide anion free radical,and singlet oxygen were acted on the dye elimination.Moreover,electron spin resonance analysis corroborated that the existences of these active species in the Fe^(3+)/AA/CaO_(2)system.This study could advance the development of Fenton-like technique in organic effluent disposal. | Deling Yuan Chen Zhang Shoufeng Tang Zetao Wang Qina Sun Xiaoyu Zhang Tifeng Jiao Qingrui Zhang | 2021 | Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,11: | 2 |
