1Experimental exploration and research prospect of physical bases and functional characteristics of meridians显示文摘The physical basis of meridians and acupoints (acupuncture points) is in a complex system mainly of connective tissue and interwoven with the blood capillaries, nerves, lymph vessels,etc. Elements of Ca, P, K, Fe, Zn, Mn, etc are found concentrated in the deep connective tissue structures in locations corresponding to acupoints. On this physical basis, the specific waveband of high efficiency for transmission of infrared rays exists in the collagenous fibre in a liquid crystal state. 2The Electric Field Detector (EFD) onboard the ZH-1 satellite and firstobservational results显示文摘Previous studies have reported that, before or after occurrences of strong earthquakes, some low earth orbit satellites recorded ionospheric disturbances, including electromagnetic emissions and plasma fluctuations over the epicenter region or its conjugate point.Theoretically speaking, due to some electromagnetic coupling effect, electromagnetic emissions from the earthquake preparation zone could propagate from the lithosphere to the atmosphere, and could reach the ionosphere, even up to the inner magnetosphere. This paper introduces the electric field detector(EFD) onboard the ZhangHeng-1 satellite(ZH-1). The EFD is designed to measure electric field fluctuations within the broad frequency range of DC to 3.5 MHz, divided into 4 channels: ULF(DC–16 Hz), ELF(6 Hz–2.2 kHz), VLF(1.8 kHz–20 kHz) and HF(18 kHz–3.5 MHz). The sampling rates of the channels are 125 Hz, 5 kHz, 50 kHz and 10 MHz, respectively. The EFD includes4 spherical probes mounted on a over 4.5 m boom and an electronic box inside the satellite module. The resolution of the EFD is 1μV·m-1·Hz-1/2 at frequencies from DC to 16 Hz, and the sensitivity is 0.1 μV·m-1·Hz-1/2 at frequencies from 6 Hz to 2.2 kHz, 0.05 μV·m-1·Hz-1/2 in the band 1.8 kHz to 20 kHz, and 0.1μV·m-1·Hz-1/2 from 20 kHz to 3.5 MHz. The dynamic range from DC to 20 kHz is over 120 dB, and over96 dB from 20 kHz to 3.5 MHz. The EFD has two observation modes: survey mode and burst mode. The survey mode concentrates primarily on electric field power density values; the burst mode provides high sampling rate waveform data. The detailed configuration of the EFD onboard the ZH-1 is also introduced in this paper. During the six months' orbit test phase, the EFD recorded a number of natural electromagnetic emissions. 3Surface-modification effect of MgO nanoparticles on the electrical properties of polypropylene nanocomposite显示文摘Polypropylene(PP)-based nanocomposite is a promising insulation material for recyclable high-voltage direct current(HVDC)cables,where the coupling agent plays an important role.In this study,four silane coupling agents with different alkyl chain groups(methyl,propyl,octyl,and octadecyl)were used to surface-modify magnesium oxide(MgO)nanoparticles.The surface-modification effect on the electrical properties of PP/MgO nanocomposites was investigated.The results show that surface-modified nanoparticles introduce quantities of deep traps,whose quantity increases as the alkyl chain length increases.The similar tendency also occurs on DC volume resistivity.All these nanocomposites show remarkable space charge suppression ability and improved DC breakdown strength.Among them,the nanocomposites with octyl-modified MgO show the best electrical properties,which could be attributed to the introduction of a large quantity of deep traps.The work may give a reference for the selection of coupling agents in PP-based nanocomposite insulation material for HVDC cable.Shixun Hu Yao Zhou Chao Yuan Wei Wang Jun Hu Qi Li Jinliang He 2020High Voltage2020,5,3:6
4Network for hypersonic UCAV swarms显示文摘Unmanned combat aerial vehicles(UCAVs)that swarm with both autonomous decision-making and cooperative attacking have been regarded as revolutionary elements of modern warfare.In such a swarm,inter-group connectivity must be ensured in a network to maintain a collective consensus.In recent years,academia and industry have made many efforts to achieve common tactical data link systems and commercial drone networks.However,the existing results have difficulty meeting the needs of cooperative autonomous UCAV swarms with both hypersonic mobility and time sensitivity in severe confrontation scenarios.In this article,we conduct an in-depth investigation of the network used for the hypersonic UCAV swarms,which can be considered as a special form of mobile wireless network.Furthermore,faced with specific functional demands,we summarize the main challenges of designing this dedicated network.In addition,a comprehensive survey of potential solutions for the network design is presented.Lastly,we discuss the possible capabilities of the network given the current forefront of technology,as well as remaining challenges and open issues.Shixun LUO Zhongshan ZHANG Shuai WANG Shuo ZHANG Jibo DAI Xiangyuan BU Jianping AN 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,4:3
5Double-loop robust tracking control for micro machine tools显示文摘This paper addresses double-loop robust tracking controller design of the miniaturized linear motor drive precision stage with mass and damping ratio uncertainties.As an inner-loop,a disturbance observer(DOB) is employed to suppress exogenous low frequency disturbances such as friction and cutting force.To further eliminate the residual disturbance and to guarantee the robust tracking to the reference input,a-synthesis outer-loop controller is designed.For eliminating the steady state error,a technique is proposed to design the-synthesis outer-loop controller with an integrator.A guideline to select the bandwidth of the Q-filter in the DOB is provided.Simulations using a model of a prototype micro-milling machine indicate that the proposed outer-loop synthesis scheme is superior to the H suboptimal control in disturbance rejection performance and steady state tracking performance.Furthermore,it is shown experimentally that the proposed double-loop robust tracking controller improves the tracking performance of the stage by 29.6% over PID control with a DOB inner-loop.FAN ShiXun NAGAMUNE Ryozo FAN DaPeng 2011Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,11:2
6Selected multiferroic perovskite oxides containing rare earth and transition metal elements显示文摘Multiferroic materials are currently the subject of intensive research worldwide, because of both their fundamental scientific problems and also possible technological applications. Among a number of candidates in the laboratories, compounds consisting of rare earth and transition metal perovskite oxides have very unusual structural and physical properties. In contrast to the so-called type I multiferroics, ferroelectricity may be induced by magnetic ordering or by applying external fields. In this review, the recent progress on the experimental and theoretical studies of some selected type II multiferroics is presented, with a focus on the perovskite oxides containing rare earth and transition metal elements. The rare earth orthoferrite crystals, rare earth titanate strained film, and rare earthbased superlattices are systematically reviewed to provide a broad overview on their promising electric, magnetic, and structural properties. The recent experimental advances in single-crystal growth by optical floating zone method are also presented. 91.3 μm Emission from Nd^(3+)-doped Tellurite Glass Fiber显示文摘1 wt pct Nd2O3-doped tellurite bulk glass and fiber with the same composition of 75TeO2-15ZnO-5Na2O-5Li2O (molfraction, %) were fabricated. Judd-Ofelt analysis was carried out for the bulk. The emission from the 4F3/2→4I13/2 transition in fiber is at 1.33 μm wavelength with a spectral bandwidth of 55 nm, which is similar to that in bulk. In the case of the fiber, the lifetime of 4F3/2 level is 164μs, and the quantum efficiency is ~100%. 10Preparation and ASE Spectrum of a Single-Mode Erbium Doped Tellurite Glass Fiber with D-type Cladding Geometry显示文摘Based on the host of tellurite glasses, the glass formation, preform manufacture, and fiber fabrication are described. The characterization of amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) from this newly fabricated single-mode Er3+-dopedtellurite fibers is also presented. When pumped at 980 nm, a very broad erbium ASE around 1.53μm was observed. The variations of ASE with fiber length and pumping power are measured and discussed. 14High-precision gyro-stabilized control of a gear-driven platform with a floating gear tension device显示文摘This study presents an improved compound control algorithm that substantially enhances the antidisturbance performance of a gear-drive gyro-stabilized platform with a floating gear tension device.The tension device can provide a self-adjustable preload to eliminate the gap in the meshing process.However,the weaker gear support stiffness and more complex meshing friction are also induced by the tension device,which deteriorates the control accuracy and the ability to keep the aim point of the optical sensors isolated from the platform motion.The modeling and compensation of the induced complex nonlinearities are technically challenging,especially when base motion exists.The aim of this research is to cope with the unmeasured disturbances as well as the uncertainties caused by the base lateral motion.First,the structural properties of the gear transmission and the friction-generating mechanism are analyzed,which classify the disturbances into two categories:Time-invariant and time-varying parts.Then,a proportional-integral controller is designed to eliminate the steady-state error caused by the time-invariant disturbance.A proportional multiple-integral-based state augmented Kalman filter is proposed to estimate and compensate for the time-varying disturbance that can be approximated as a polynomial function.The effectiveness of the proposed compound algorithm is demonstrated by comparative experiments on a gear-drive pointing system with a floating gear tension device,which shows a maximum 76%improvement in stabilization precision.Xianliang JIANG Dapeng FAN Shixun FAN Xin XIE Ning CHEN 2021Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering2021,16,3:1
