| 1 | Inverse Gaussian process-based corrosion growth modeling and its application in the reliability analysis for energy pipelines显示文摘This paper describes an inverse Gaussian process-based model to characterize the growth of metal-loss corrosion defects on energy pipelines.The model parameters are evaluated using the Bayesian methodology by combining the inspection data obtained from multiple inspections with the prior distributions.The Markov Chain Monte Carlo(MCMC)simulation techniques are employed to numerically evaluate the posterior marginal distribution of each individual parameter.The measurement errors associated with the ILI tools are considered in the Bayesian inference.The application of the growth model is illustrated using an example involving real inspection data collected from an in-service pipeline in Alberta,Canada.The results indicate that the model in general can predict the growth of corrosion defects reasonably well.Parametric analyses associated with the growth model as well as reliability assessment of the pipeline based on the growth model are also included in the example.The proposed model can be used to facilitate the development and application of reliability-based pipeline corrosion management. | Hao QIN Shenwei ZHANG Wenxing ZHOU | 2013 | Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2013,7,3: | 6 |

| 7 | A preparation strategy for protein-oriented immobilized silica magnetic beads with Spy chemistry for ligand fishing显示文摘Due to the complexity of bioactive ingredients in biological samples,the screening of target proteins is a complex process.Herein,a feasible strategy for directing protein immobilization on silica magnetic beads for ligand fishing based on SpyTag/SpyCatcher(ST/SC)-mediated anchoring is presented.Carboxyl functional groups on the surface of silica-coated magnetic beads(SMBs)were coupled with SC using the 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide hydrochloride/N-hydroxysulfosuccinimide method,named SC-SMBs.The green fluorescent protein(GFP),as the capturing protein model,was ST-labeled and anchored at a specific orientation onto the surface of SC-SMBs directly from relevant cell lysates via ST/SC self-ligation.The characteristics of the SC-SMBs were studied via electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy,and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.The spontaneity and site-specificity of this unique reaction were confirmed via electrophoresis and fluorescence analyses.Although the alkaline stability of ST-GFP-ligated SC-SMBs was not ideal,the formed isopeptide bond was unbreakable under acidic conditions(0.05 M glycine-HCl buffer,pH 1e6)for 2 h,under 20%ethanol solution within 7 days,and at most temperatures.We,therefore,present a simple and universal strategy for the preparation of diverse protein-functionalized SMBs for ligand fishing,prompting its usage on drug screening and target finding. | Yu Yi Jianming Hu Shenwei Ding Jianfeng Mei Xudong Wang Yanlu Zhang Jianshu Chen Guoqing Ying | 2022 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2022,12,3: | 0 |
| 8 | Enhanced performance for propane dehydrogenation through Pt clusters alloying with copper in zeolite显示文摘Metal alloys have been widely applied for heterogeneous catalysis,especially alkane dehydrogenation.However,the catalysts always suffer from sintering and coke deposition due to the rigorous reaction conditions.Herein,we described an original approach to prepare a catalyst where highly dispersed Pt clusters alloying with copper were encapsulated in silicalite-1(S-1)zeolite for propane dehydrogenation(PDH).The introduction of Cu species significantly enhances the catalytic activity and prolongs the lifetime of the catalyst.0.1Pt0.4CuK@S-1 exhibits a propane conversion of 24.8%with 98.2%selectivity of propene,and the specific activity of propylene formation is up to 32 mol·gPt^(−1)·h^(−1)at 500℃.No obvious deactivation is observed even after 73 h on stream,affording an extremely low deactivation constant of 0.00032 h^(−1).The excellent activity and stability are ascribed to the confinement of zeolites and the stabilization of Cu species for Pt clusters. | Jie Zhou Ying Zhang Hao Liu Chao Xiong Peng Hu Hao Wang Shenwei Chen Hongbing Ji | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 0 |
| 9 | A Novel 2-dimensional Multiplex qPCR Assay for Single-Tube Detection of Nine Human Herpesviruses显示文摘Human herpesviruses are double-stranded DNA viruses that are classified into nine species.More than 90%of adults are ever infected with one or more herpesviruses.The symptoms of infection with different herpesviruses are diverse ranging from mild or asymptomatic infections to deadly diseases such as aggressive lymphomas and sarcomas.Timely and accurate detection of herpesvirus infection is critical for clinical management and treatment.In this study,we established a single-tube nonuple qPCR assay for detection of all nine herpesviruses using a 2-D multiplex qPCR method with a house-keeping gene as the internal control.The novel assay can detect and distinguish different herpesviruses with 30 to 300 copies per 25µL single-tube reaction,and does not cross-react with 20 other human viruses,including DNA and RNA viruses.The robustness of the novel assay was evaluated using 170 clinical samples.The novel assay showed a high consistency(100%)with the single qPCR assay for HHVs detection.The features of simple,rapid,high sensitivity,specificity,and low cost make this assay a high potential to be widely used in clinical diagnosis and patient treatment. | Yingxue Li Zhenzhou Wan Lulu Zuo Shenwei Li Honglian Liu Yingying Ma Lianqun Zhou Xia Jin Yuye Li Chiyu Zhang | 2021 | Virologica Sinica2021,36,4: | 0 |
| 10 | The Research of One Novel Cost-Sensitive Classification Algorithm显示文摘Assuming that misclassification costs between different categories are equal, traditional Graph based semi-supervised classification(GSSC) algorithms pursues high classification accuracy. In many practical problems, especially in the fields of finance and medicine,compared with global classification accuracy, less cost on global misclassification is more likely to be the most significant factor. We propose one novel cost-sensitive classification algorithm based on the local and global consistency, which utilizes the semi-supervised classification algorithms better, and ensures higher classification accuracy on the basis of reducing overall cost. Our improved algorithm may bring some problems due to unbalanced data account, so we introduce synthetic minority oversampling technique algorithm for further optimization. | 11 | Traffic control based on dahlin algorithm and neural network prediction in TAM networks显示文摘The propagation delay in networks has a great adverse effect on rote-based traffic control. This paper proposes the composite control based on Dahlin algorithm feedback control and neural network feedforward predictive compensation online for ABR (available bit rate) communication in ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) networks, which can overcome the adverse effect caused by the delay on the control rapidity and stability better. The theoretical analysis and simulation research show that the scheme can make sources respond to the changes of network status rapidly, avoid the congestion effectively and utilize the bandwidth sufficiently. | 13 | Uncovering the magnetic response of open-shell graphene nanostructures on metallic surfaces at different doping levels显示文摘Open-shell graphene nanostructures(GNs)are promising candidates for future spintronics and quantum technologies.Recent progress based on on-surface synthetic approach has successfully created such GNs on metallic surfaces.Meanwhile,the doping effect of metallic surfaces is inevitably present and can significantly tune their electronic and magnetic properties.Here,we investigate the zigzag end states of open-shell 7-armchair graphene nanoribbons(7-AGNRs)on Au(111),Au(100)and Ag(111)surfaces.Combined with the manipulation of a scanning tunneling microscope,we demonstrate that the end states can be tuned from empty states to singly occupied states and to doubly occupied states by substrate doping.Furthermore,the singly occupied states can be finely tuned,with the occupancy number of the states and related magnetic behaviors uncovered by experiments at different temperatures and magnetic fields.Our results provide a comprehensive study of the magnetic response of open-shell GNs on metallic surfaces at different doping levels. | Zengfu Ou Jun Wang Jihai Zhang Yukang Ding Shenwei Chen Wenya Zhai Jingcheng Li Dingyong Zhong Donghui Guo | 2024 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2024,67,2: | 0 |
