| 1 | Mechanism of vertical crack formation in Yb_(2)SiO_(5) coatings deposited via plasma spray-physical vapor deposition显示文摘Plasma spray-physical vapor deposition(i.e.,PS-PVD)is a promising method for obtaining advanced environmental barrier coatings(EBCs).The EBCs must meet some requirements in the application,in which the thermal cycle performance affects the service lifetime.The preparation of artificial vertical cracks in Yb_(2)SiO_(5) coatings is an effective approach for meeting the requirements above because vertical cracks provide a strain tolerance.To clarify the formation mechanism of vertical cracks during the PSPVD,the effects of coating thickness and substrate temperature on the formation of vertical cracks were investigated.In addition,the interactions of spray powder and plasma flame during coating deposition were also characterized by optical spectroscopy.It is indicated that vertical cracks are formed due to a thermal expansion mismatch between Yb_(2)SiO_(5) and mullite coating,transient cooling after deposition and the nucleation of evaporated Yb_(2)SiO_(5) as well. | Xiaofeng Zhang Chao Wang Ruijun Ye Chunming Deng Xinghua Liang Ziqian Deng Shaopeng Niu Jinbing Song Guo Liu Min Liu Kesong Zhou Jian Lu Junli Feng | 2020 | Journal of Materiomics2020,6,1: | 6 |
| 2 | Progress and key challenges in catalytic combustion of lean methane显示文摘As a primary type of clean energy,methane is also the second most important greenhouse gas after CO_(2)due to the high global warming potential.Large quantities of lean methane(0.1–1.0 vol%)are emitted into the atmosphere without any treatment during coal mine,oil,and natural gas production,thus leading to energy loss and greenhouse effect.In general,it is challenging to utilize lean methane due to its low concentration and flow instability,while catalytic combustion is a vital pathway to realize an efficient utilization of lean methane owing to the reduced emissions of polluting gases(e.g.,NOxand CO)during the reaction.In particular,to efficiently convert lean methane,it necessitates both the designs of highly active and stable heterogeneous catalysts that accelerate lean methane combustion at low temperatures and smart reactors that enable autothermal operation by optimizing heat management.In this review,we discuss the in-depth development,challenges,and prospects of catalytic lean methane combustion technology in various configurations,with particular emphasis on heat management from the point of view of material design combined with reactor configuration.The target is to describe a framework that can correlate the guiding principles among catalyst design,device innovation and system optimization,inspiring the development of groundbreaking combustion technology for the efficient utilization of lean methane. | Xiangbo Feng Lei Jiang Danyang Li Shaopeng Tian Xing Zhu Hua Wang Chi He Kongzhai Li | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,,12: | 4 |
| 3 | Genome research profile of two Cordyceps sinensis cDNA libraries显示文摘Cordyceps sinensis (CS) is well known as an ancient Chinese herb. It is used to expand bronchial smooth muscles, inhibit tumor growth and decrease blood pressure. Cordyceps sinensis is composed of two parts. One is the dead larvae body; the other is the stroma like withered grass. Up to now, few genome database articles about Cordyceps sinensis have been reported. In this study, two cDNA libraries were constructed using the worm part and grass part respectively for the first time. 12192 and 15456 clones from the worm-part (CSCA) and grass-part (CSBA) library were respectively picked. Sequences derived from CSCA were clustered into 1333 contigs and 2469 singlets, while those from CSBA were clustered into 1297 contigs and 2875 singlets. These ESTs include sequences representing a significant portion of proteins encoding genes in cell signalling, metabolism, information storage and processing. Some enzymes encoding genes were also found and linked with CS’s physiology such as proteases, peptidases, lipases and chitinase. Pairwise comparison between the two cDNA libraries was also studied. Some ESTs were found only in CSCA and some only in CSBA. Finally, a comparative genomics research was performed with Fusarium graminearum, Aspergillus nidulans, Neurospora crassa and Saccharomyces bayanus. | 4 | Yield and quality properties of silage maize and their influencing factors in China显示文摘Silage maize(Zea mays L.) is one of the most important forages in the world, and its yield and quality properties are critical parameters for livestock production and assessment of forage values. However, relationships between its yield and quality properties and the controlling factors are not well documented. In this study, we collected 5,663 observations from 196 publications across the country to identify the relationships between yield and quality properties of silage maize and to assess the impact of management practices and climatic factors on its yield and quality in China. The average dry matter yield of silage maize was(19.98±6.93) Mg ha^(-1), and the average value of crude protein, ether extract, crude ash, crude fiber, acid detergent fiber, neutral detergent fiber, nitrogen-free extract, and relative feed value was 7.86%±1.71%, 2.53%±1.01%, 5.05%±1.66%,23.97%±6.34%, 27.62%±7.12%, 51.60%±9.85%, 59.68%±7.72%, and 131.17±31.49, respectively. In general, its nutritive value decreased as its yield increased. Increasing planting density could increase the yield but inhibit the nutritive values, while increasing fertilization could benefit the nutritive values. Geographically, the yield increased and the nutritive value decreased from warm(south) to cold(north) regions. The length of growth duration was a major controlling factor for the patterns of these properties. | 5 | Bi_(2)O_(2)Se/BP van der Waals heterojunction for high performance broadband photodetector显示文摘Broadband photodetector has wide applications in the field of remote sensing,health monitoring and medical imaging.Two-dimensional(2D)materials with narrow bandgaps have shown enormous potential in broadband photodetection.However,the device performance is often restricted by the high dark currents.Herein,we demonstrate a high performance broadband photodetector by constructing Bi_(2)O_(2) Se/BP van der Waals heterojunction.The device exhibits a p-n diode behavior with a current rectification ratio of~20.Benifited from the low dark current of the heterojunction and the effective carrier separation,the device achieves the responsivity(R)of~500 A/W,~4.3 A/W and~2.3 A/W at 700 nm,1310 nm and 1550 nm,respectively.The specific detectivity(D^(*))is up to~2.8×10^(11) Jones(700 nm),~2.4×10^(9) Jones(1310 nm)and~1.3×10^(9) Jones(1550 nm).Moreover,the response time is~9 ms,which is more than 20 times faster than that of individual BP(~190 ms)and Bi_(2)O_(2)Se(~180 ms)devices. | Xing LIU Wenhui WANG Fang YANG Shaopeng FENG Zhenliang HU Junpeng LU Zhenhua NI | 2021 | Science China(Information Sciences)2021,64,4: | 2 |

| 9 | Status of the IHEP 1.3 GHz superconducting RF program显示文摘The 1.3 GHz superconducting radio-frequency (SRF) technology is one of the key technologies for the ILC and future XFEL and ERL projects in China. With the aim to develop 1.3 GHz SRF technology, IHEP has started a program to build an SRF Accelerating Unit. This unit contains a 9-cell 1.3 GHz superconducting cavity, a short cryomodule, a high power input coupler, a tuner and a low level RF system. This program also includes the SRF laboratory upgrade, which will permit the unit to be built and tested at IHEP. The unit will be used for the 1.3 GHz SRF system integration study, high power horizontal test and possible beam test in the future. In this paper, we report the recent R&D status of this program. The first large grain low-loss shape 9-cell superconducting RF cavity made by IHEP reached 20 MV/m in the first vertical test in July, 2010. The prototype tuner and low level RF (LLRF) system are under test. The high power input coupler and cryomodule are under fabrication. | 14 | Performance enhancement for antipodal Vivaldi antenna modulated by a high-permittivity metasurface lens显示文摘A metasurface unit is designed operating at 2–20 GHz to enhance the gain and radiation performance of an antipodal Vivaldi antenna(AVA).The unit has a simple structure,stable ultra-wideband performance,high permittivity,and can independently modulate two polarization modes electromagnetic waves.We analyze the current distribution on the unit and extract equivalent characteristic parameters to verify the ability of independent modulation on two polarization modes electromagnetic waves.The designed metasurface unit is integrated into the aperture of the AVA and forms the metasurface lens(ML)for guiding the propagation of electromagnetic waves.Two types of ML are proposed and integrated into the AVA to design antennas Ant1 and Ant2.The modulation effect of the lens on the electromagnetic wave is analyzed from the perspective of electric field amplitude and phase,and the final design is obtained.From the optimized design results,the AVA and the proposed Ant2 are fabricated and measured,and the measurement results are in good agreement with the simulation ones.The impedance bandwidth measured by Ant2 basically covers the 2–18 GHz frequency band.Compared with the conventional AVA,the gain of the proposed Ant2 is increased by 0.6–3.7 d B,the sidelobe level is significantly reduced,and the directivity has also been clearly improved. | Shaopeng PAN Mingtuan LIN Lin QI Pan CHEN Yang FENG Gaosheng LI | 2021 | Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering2021,22,12: | 0 |
