1Nano-Graphene Oxide for Cellular Imaging and Drug Delivery显示文摘Two-dimensional graphene offers interesting electronic,thermal,and mechanical properties that are currently being explored for advanced electronics,membranes,and composites.Here we synthesize and explore the biological applications of nano-graphene oxide(NGO),i.e.,single-layer graphene oxide sheets down to a few nanometers in lateral width.We develop functionalization chemistry in order to impart solubility and compatibility of NGO in biological environments.We obtain size separated pegylated NGO sheets that are soluble in buffers and serum without agglomeration.The NGO sheets are found to be photoluminescent in the visible and infrared regions.The intrinsic photoluminescence(PL)of NGO is used for live cell imaging in the near-infrared(NIR)with little background.We found that simple physisorption viaπ-stacking can be used for loading doxorubicin,a widely used cancer drug onto NGO functionalized with antibody for selective killing of cancer cells in vitro.Owing to its small size,intrinsic optical properties,large specifi c surface area,low cost,and useful non-covalent interactions with aromatic drug molecules,NGO is a promising new material for biological and medical applications.Xiaoming Sun Zhuang Liu Kevin Welsher Joshua Tucker Robinson Andrew Goodwin Sasa Zaric Hongjie Dai 2008Nano Research2008,1,3:118
2三江平原典型湿地土壤剖面有机碳及全氮分布与积累特征显示文摘研究了三江平原2类典型湿地(毛果苔草沼泽和芦苇沼泽)沉积物剖面有机碳、全氮的分布特征与积累现状.结果表明,2类沼泽剖面有机碳分布均具有明显的储碳层和淀积层;上层的储碳层厚度约为60cm,有机碳平均含量分别为96和184g·kg^-1,全氮平均含量分别为7.4和17.6g·kg^-1;下层的淀积层内有机碳和全氮含量低而稳定.2类沼泽剖面有机碳和全氮含量随剖面深度增加而下降,有机碳、全氮与容重之间相关均极显著(P〈0.01).2类典型湿地有机碳密度在20-40cm剖面内最大.储碳层内,有机碳储量分别为1.83×10^4和1.73×10^4t·km^-2,全氮储量分别为1.45×10^3和1.67×10^3t·km^-2;100cm以内,有机碳储量分别为2.86×10^4和2.62×10^4t·km^-2,全氮储量分别为2.18×10^3和2.49×10^3t·km^-2.植被类型对湿地剖面有机碳、全氮含量及储量均具有不同程度的影响.石福臣 李瑞利 王绍强 Sasa Kaichiro 2007应用生态学报2007,18,7:80
3三江平原典型沼泽湿地养分累积与沉积特征显示文摘研究了三江平原两类典型沼泽湿地(毛果苔草沼泽和芦苇沼泽)沉积物剖面有机碳、全氮、全磷和全硫的垂直分布规律,初步分析了三江平原湿地的沉积速率与沉积通量.结果表明,土壤有机碳、全氮、全磷和全硫在垂直方向上具有明显的分层和富聚现象,自上而下,有机碳的含量逐渐降低;全氮含量呈先增加后减少的分布趋势;毛果苔草沼泽全磷含量呈先减少后增加的'V'型分布,芦苇沼泽全磷含量逐渐降低;全硫的分布和有机碳的分布规律一致.相关性分析表明,全氮、全磷和全硫与有机碳之间呈极显著的正相关关系(P<0.01);有机碳与容重之间呈极显著的负相关关系(P<0.01).植被类型是影响沼泽湿地土壤有机碳、全氮、全磷和全硫的空间分布的主要因素之一.应用137Cs、210Pb测定沉积年代,并结合恒定放射性通量(CRS)模式推算年龄的结果表明,三江平原湿地平均沉积速率为0.33 cm·a-1,沉积通量为0.03~0.48 g·(cm2·a)-1,平均为0.29 g·(cm2·a)-1.李瑞利 柴民伟 邱国玉 石福臣 Sasa Kaichiro 2014环境科学2014,35,8:16
4中国东北地区兴安落叶松林树干呼吸的研究(英文)显示文摘树干呼吸是森林碳平衡估计中的一个重要项目同时还能够显示树木的活力.对于如何准确估计森林树干呼吸释放CO2总量还存在争论.在本项研究中,2001~2002连续两年在一个33年生的兴安落叶松(Larix gmelini Rupr.)人工林内对树干呼吸进行了测定,同时测定了不同高度树干呼吸、呼吸的日变化、同龄落叶松林内不同个体的树干呼吸以及相关生长状态因子、水分因子和温度因子.结果显示:1)树干上部的呼吸速率在不同季节都高于下部呼吸速率,树干温度的差异能够一定程度上解释这种差异;2)树干呼吸有午间降低的现象,上午的测定结果树干温度与树干呼吸速率紧密相关,而下午则温度依赖性很小,土壤、空气、小枝木质部水势、叶片蒸腾速率和气孔导度都显示下午植物水分亏缺下午较上午严重,呼吸的这种上下午温度相关性的差异可能受这种水分亏缺的影响;3)在同龄林内,树木个体生长状态包括平均生长速率和树冠投影面积与树干呼吸速率有显著相关关系,而树干温度与之相关性很小.幂指数模型和S曲线模型能够产生较好的拟合效果;4)树干呼吸季节变化明显,7月份出现最大值,但同一月份的年间差异较大.自然指数模型能够较好地拟合温度与树干呼吸的季节变化规律.Q10值在2.22(2001年)和3.53(2002年)之间,与以往研究的结果相当.从以上结果可以看出,通过单一的Q10值估计森林树干呼吸总量会产生偏差,要想得到准确的估计,至少应该考虑生长状态的差异和水分状态的差异.王文杰 杨逢建 祖元刚 王慧梅 TAKAGI Kentaro SASA Kaichiro KOIKE Takayoshi 2003Acta Botanica Sinica2003,45,12:10
5Pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, diabetes mellitus and serum nutritional markers after acute pancreatitis显示文摘AIM:To investigate impairment and clinical significance of exocrine and endocrine pancreatic function in patients after acute pancreatitis(AP).METHODS:Patients with AP were invited to participate in the study.Severity of AP was determined by the Atlanta classification and definitions revised in2012.Pancreatic exocrine insufficiency(PEI)was diagnosed by the concentration of fecal elastase-1.An additional work-up,including laboratory testing of serum nutritional markers for determination ofmalnutrition,was offered to all patients with low levels of fecal elastase-1 FE.Hemoglobin A1c or oral glucose tolerance tests were also performed in patients without prior diabetes mellitus,and type 3c diabetes mellitus(T3c DM)was diagnosed according to American Diabetes Association criteria.RESULTS:One hundred patients were included in the study:75%(75/100)of patients had one attack of AP and 25%(25/100)had two or more attacks.The most common etiology was alcohol.Mild,moderately severe and severe AP were present in 67,15 and 18%of patients,respectively.The mean time from attack of AP to inclusion in the study was 2.7 years.PEI was diagnosed in 21%(21/100)of patients and T3c DM in14%(14/100)of patients.In all patients with PEI,at least one serologic nutritional marker was below the lower limit of normal.T3c DM was more frequently present in patients with severe AP(P=0.031),but was also present in some patients with mild and moderately severe AP.PEI was present in all degrees of severity of AP.There were no statistically significantly differences according to gender,etiology and number of AP attacks.CONCLUSION:As exocrine and endocrine pancreatic insufficiency can develop after AP,routine follow-up of patients is necessary,for which serum nutritional panel measurements can be useful.Miroslav Vujasinovic Bojan Tepes Jana Makuc Sasa Rudolf Jelka Zaletel Tjasa Vidmar Maja Seruga Bostjan Birsa 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,48:10
6Functional analysis of the ABA-responsive protein family in ABA and stress signal transduction in Arabidopsis显示文摘The phytohormone abscisic acid(ABA)plays an important role in plant growth and development,for example in seed dormancy and germination,as well as in plant responses to environmental stresses,such as drought and high salinity.Previous studies have shown that ABA regulates the expression of genes with an ABA-responsive element(ABRE)and their corresponding physiological responses.Bioinformatics analysis identified a GRAM domain-containing gene family that has a multiple ABRE cis-element,which was termed the ABA-responsive protein(ABR)family.To analyze the function of the ABR family,we identified homozygous T-DNA insertion mutants and constructed abr1,2,3 double mutants and triple mutant.The abr1,abr2 and abr3single mutants showed a normal phenotype;however,the germination of seeds of the double mutants and triple mutant were insensitive to ABA,NaCl,mannitol and glucose.ABR1-GFP was distributed as a punctate structure in the cytosol and may be localized in the endomembrane system.The ABR2-GFP and ABR3-GFP proteins localized in the cytoplasm.In addition,ABR1,ABR2 and ABR3 were expressed in various tissues,and could be induced by several abiotic stresses,especially by ABA.The expressions of these genes were significantly suppressed in aba2,abi1 and abi2 null mutants.These results suggested that the ABR family may act downstream of ABI1 and ABI2 in the ABA signal transduction process in plants.LIU LingYun LI Na YAO ChunPeng MENG SaSa SONG ChunPeng 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,31:7

11Experimental Investigation of Pyrolysis Process of Woody Biomass Mixture显示文摘This paper describes an experimental investigation of pyrolysis of woody biomass mixture. The mixture consists of oak, beech, fir, cherry, walnut and linden wood chips with equal mass fractions. During the experiment, the sample mass inside the reactor was 10 g with a particle diameter of 5-10 mm. The sample in the reactor was heated in the temperature range of 24-650oC. Average sample heating rates in the reactor were 21, 30 and 54 oC/min. The sample mass before, during and after pyrolysis was determined using a digital scale. Experimental results of the sample mass change indicate that the highest yield of pyrolytic gas was achieved at the temperature slightly above 650oC and ranged from 77 to 85%, while char yield ranged from 15 to 23%. Heating rate has significant influence on the pyrolytic gas and char yields. It was determined that higher pyrolysis temperatures and heating rates induce higher yields of pyrolytic gas, while the char mass reduces. Condensation of pyrolytic gas at the end of the pyrolysis process at 650oC produced 2.4-2.72 g of liquid phase. 13Attenuation and Distortion of Compression Waves Propagating in Very Long Tube显示文摘A lot of phenomena related to propagating various waves are seen when the high-speed train goes through the tunnel,the gas pipeline is broken due to an accident or the air brake of the wagon operates.For instance,a compression wave generated ahead of a high-speed train entering a tunnel propagates to the tunnel exit and spouts as a micro pressure wave,which causes an exploding sound.In order to estimate the magnitude correctly,the mechanism of the attenuation and distortion of a compression wave propagating along a very long tunnel must be understood and the experimental information on these phenomena is required.An experimental investigation is carried out to clarify the attenuation and distortion of the propagating compression wave in a very long tube.Experimental results show that the strength of a compression wave decreases with distance.The attenuation and distortion of compression waves are affected by the initial waveform of the compression wave and by the unsteady boundary layer induced by the propagating wave.The shape of a compression wave becomes different with the propagating distance;that is,a shock wave appears just head of a wavefront and an overshoot on pressure distribution is observed behind a shock wave due to the transition of the unsteady boundary layer.Shinya NAKAMURA Daisuke SASA Toshiyuki AOKI 2011Journal of Thermal Science2011,20,1:2
14AFP2 Coordinates the Activity of PIF7 for Thermomorphogenesis in Arabidopsis Seedlings显示文摘Ambient temperature induces the hypocotyl elongation of seedling,called as thermomorphogenesis.It has been reported that the bHLH transcriptional factor PIF7 acts as the critical component to modulate plant thermomorphogenesis,but the underlying mechanism remains elusive.The phytohormone abscisic acid(ABA)suppresses the hypocotyl elongation under high temperature(HT)stress.As the ABI5 binding protein,AFP2 acts as the negative factor to control ABA signaling.In this study,we first identified AFP2 as the interaction protein of PIF7 in vitro and in vivo.Phenotype analysis revealed that overexpressing AFP2 reduced the hypocotyl elongation,while loss-of-function afp2 mutant showed longer hypocotyl under HT.Consistently,overexpressing AFP2 impaired the transactivation effect of PIF7 on auxin biosynthesis related genes YUC8 and IAA19,which possibly resulted into the shorter hypocotyl in the transgenic line overexpressing AFP2 or co-overexpressing AFP2 and PIF7.Thus,these data suggest that AFP2 suppressed PIF7 activity to suppress hypocotyl elongation.Furthermore,we found that HT gradually induced the degradation of AFP2 that possibly released the inhibitory effect of AFP2 on PIF7,thus induced hypocotyl elongation under HT.Taken together,our result reveals the novel function of AFP2 in coordinating thermomorphogenesis through sophistically modulating PIF7 activity.Guoli Deng Songbei Ying Sasa Jing Jun Zhou Shiyan Lu Ping Li 2021Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,4:2
15AMS-(14)C样品制备系统的研制及其性能研究显示文摘为了开展加速器质谱仪(accelerator mass spectrometry, AMS)在(14)C测量方面的研究,研制了可采用锌法、氢法、氢化钛法制备(14)C样品的装置,该制样系统以石英玻璃为主要结构材料,分为以下三个单元:系统真空维护单元、CO_(2)纯化单元和CO_(2)还原单元。为验证此装置的可靠性,进行了系列(14)C样品的制备实验,得到的石墨产率基本达到80%,同时对商业碳粉、树木的含碳量与实验过程中测量区域对应的CO_(2)量进行了线性拟合,结果呈现明显的线性关系。对一批标准样品和本底样品进行AMS测试,结果显示每个样品(12)C-的引出束流均大于20μA,系列空白样品的测量结果表明,^(14)C/^(12)C丰度比平均值为1.061×10^(-15),样品制备系统稳定且在制样过程中引入的碳污染较小,符合制样要求,现代木头样品的AMS绝对测量值为(9.13±0.05)×10^(-13),与预期值~9.0×10^(-13)相符合。上述结果表明,该系统结构紧凑,能避免相互污染,高效且便于操作,满足AMS对(14)C样品的测试要求。亓明丽 李昭梅 唐俊森 魏思雨 刘明吉 赵振池 石书林 Kimikazu Sasa 沈洪涛 2021同位素2021,34,3:2
16Bioactive hyaluronic acid fragments inhibit lipopolysaccharideinduced inflammatory responses via the Toll-like receptor 4 signaling pathway显示文摘The high-and the low-molecular weight hyaluronic acids(HMW-HA and LMW-HA,respectively)showed different biological activities in inflammation.However,the role of LMW-HA in inflammatory response is controversial.In this study,we aimed to investigate the effect of bioactive hyaluronan(B-HA)on lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced inflammatory responses in human macrophages and mice.B-HA was produced from HA treated with glycosylated recombinant human hyaluronidase PH20.Human THP-1 cells were induced to differentiate into macrophages.THP-1-derived macrophages were treated with B-HA,LPS,or B-HA+LPS.The mRNA expression and the production of inflammatory cytokines were determined using quantitative real-time PCR and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.The phosphorylation levels of proteins in the nuclear factor-kB(NF-kB),mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK),and IRF-3 signaling pathways were measured using Western blot.The in vivo efficacy of B-HA was assessed in a mouse model of LPS-induced inflammation.Results showed that B-HA inhibited the expression of TNF-α,IL-6,IL-1,and IFN-β,and enhanced the expression of the antiinflammatory cytokine IL-10 in LPS-induced inflammatory responses in THP-1-derived macrophages and in vivo.B-HA significantly suppressed the phosphorylation of the TLR4 signaling pathway proteins p65,IKKα/β,IkBα,JNK1/2,ERK1/2,p38,and IRF-3.In conclusion,our results demonstrated that the B-HA attenuated the LPSstimulated inflammatory response by inhibiting the activation of the TLR4 signaling pathway.B-HA could be a potential anti-inflammatory drug in the treatment of inflammatory disease.Na You Sasa Chu Binggang Cai Youfang Gao Mizhou Hui Jin Zhu Maorong Wang 2021Frontiers of Medicine2021,15,2:2
