| 1 | Crop photosynthetic response to light quality and light intensity显示文摘Under natural conditions, plants constantly encounter various biotic and abiotic factors, which can potentially restrict plant growth and development and even limit crop productivity. Among various abiotic factors affecting plant photosynthesis, light serves as an important factor that drives carbon metabolism in plants and supports life on earth. The two components of light(light quality and light intensity) greatly affect plant photosynthesis and other plant's morphological, physiological and biochemical parameters. The response of plants to different spectral radiations and intensities differs in various species and also depends on growing conditions. To date, much research has been conducted regarding how different spectral radiations of varying intensity can affect plant growth and development. | 2 | Soil Microbiological Activity and Carbon Dynamics in the Current Climate Change Scenarios:A Review显示文摘Microbial activities are affected by a myriad of factors with end points involved in nutrient cycling and carbon sequestration issues.Because of their prominent role in the global carbon balance and their possible role in carbon sequestration, soil microbes are very important organisms in relation to global climate changes. This review focuses mainly on the responses of soil microbes to climate changes and subsequent effects on soil carbon dynamics. An overview table regarding extracellular enzyme activities(EAA) with all relevant literature data summarizes the effects of different ecosystems under various experimental treatments on EAA. Increasing temperature, altered soil moisture regimes, and elevated carbon dioxide significantly affect directly or indirectly soil microbial activities.High temperature regimes can increase the microbial activities which can provide positive feedback to climate change, whereas lower moisture condition in pedosystem can negate the increase, although the interactive effects still remain unanswered. Shifts in soil microbial community in response to climate change have been determined by gene probing, phospholipid fatty acid analysis(PLFA),terminal restriction length polymorphism(TRFLP), and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE), but in a recent investigations,omic technological interventions have enabled determination of the shift in soil microbe community at a taxa level, which can provide very important inputs for modeling C sequestration process. | 3 | Evaluation on Properties of CaO-BaO-B_2O_3-Al_2O_3-SiO_2 Glass-Ceramic Sealants for Intermediate Temperature Solid Oxide Fuel Cells显示文摘To develop suitable sealants for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFC), glasseceramics based on the CaO-BaO-B2O3-Al2O3-SiO2 system were studied. Coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), glass transition temperature (Tg) and dilatometric softening point temperature (Td) of specimens were determined by means of dilatometer analysis and crystallization temperature was measured by differential thermal analysis (DTA). Also, crystallization behavior during prolonged heat-treatment and microstructure properties were studied by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. Electrical properties were measured at different temperatures, and the results showed a high resistance (>10 4Ω) at the SOFC operation temperature (600-800℃). Moreover, mechanical properties of heat-treated specimens (1, 10, 30, 50 h) were measured. Recently, nanoscale memristor has renewed interest in experimental realization of neural network. A neural network with a memristive synaptic weight is studied in this work. Dynamical properties of the proposed neural network are investigated through phase portraits, Poincaré map, and Lyapunov exponents. Interestingly, the memristive neural network can generate hyperchaotic attractors without the presence of equilibrium points. | 7 | Shade stress decreases stem strength of soybean through restraining lignin biosynthesis显示文摘Lodging is the most important constraint for soybean growth at seedling stage in maize-soybean relay strip intercropping system.In the field experiments,three soybean cultivars Nandou 032-4(shade susceptible cultivar; B1),Jiuyuehuang(moderately shade tolerant cultivar; B2),and Nandou 12(shade tolerant cultivar; B3) were used to evaluate the relationship between stem stress and lignin metabolism in the stem of soybean.Results showed that the intercropped soybean was in variable light condition throughout the day time and co-growth stage with maize.The xylem area and cross section ratio played a main role to form the stem stress.The B3 both in intercropping and monocropping expressed a high stem stress with higher xylem area,lignin content,and activity of enzymes(phenylalanine ammonia-lyase(PAL),4-coumarate: CoA ligase(4CL),cinnamyl alcohol dehydrogenase(CAD),and peroxidase(POD)) than those of B1 and B2.Among the soybean cultivars and planting pattern,lignin content was positively correlated with stem stress.However,a negative correlation was found between lignin content and actual rate of lodging.In conclusion,the shade tolerant soybean cultivar had larger xylem area,higher lignin content and activities of CAD,4CL,PAL,and POD than other soybean cultivars in intercropping.The lodging in maize-soybean intercropping can be minimized by planting shade tolerant and lodging resistant cultivar of soybean.The lignin content in stem could be a useful indicator for the evaluation of lodging resistance of soybean in intercropping and activities of enzymes were the key factors that influence the lignin biosynthesis. | LIU Wei-guo Sajad Hussain LIU Ting ZOU Jun-lin REN Meng-lu ZHOU Tao LIU Jiang YANG Feng YANG Wen-yu | 2019 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2019,18,1: | 8 |
| 8 | A new approach for visual identification of orange varieties using neural networks and metaheuristic algorithms显示文摘Accurate classification of fruit varieties in processing factories and during post-harvesting applications is a challenge that has been widely studied.This paper presents a novel approach to automatic fruit identification applied to three common varieties of oranges(Citrus sinensis L.),namely Bam,Payvandi and Thomson.A total of 300 color images were used for the experiments,100 samples for each orange variety,which are publicly available.After segmentation,263 parameters,including texture,color and shape features,were extracted from each sample using image processing.Among them,the 6 most effective features were automatically selected by using a hybrid approach consisting of an artificial neural network and particle swarm optimization algorithm(ANN-PSO).Then,three different classifiers were applied and compared:hybrid artificial neural network–artificial bee colony(ANN-ABC);hybrid artificial neural network–harmony search(ANN-HS);and k-nearest neighbors(kNN).The experimental results show that the hybrid approaches outperform the results of kNN.The average correct classification rate of ANN-HS was 94.28%,while ANN-ABS achieved 96.70%accuracy with the available data,contrasting with the 70.9%baseline accuracy of kNN.Thus,this new proposed methodology provides a fast and accurate way to classify multiple fruits varieties,which can be easily implemented in processing factories.The main contribution of this work is that the method can be directly adapted to other use cases,since the selection of the optimal features and the configuration of the neural network are performed automatically using metaheuristic algorithms. | Sajad Sabzi Yousef Abbaspour-Gilandeh Ginés García-Mateos | 2018 | Information Processing in Agriculture2018,5,1: | 8 |
| 9 | Multi-objective planning model for simultaneous reconfiguration of power distribution network and allocation of renewable energy resources and capacitors with considering uncertainties显示文摘This research develops a comprehensive method to solve a combinatorial problem consisting of distribution system reconfiguration, capacitor allocation, and renewable energy resources sizing and siting simultaneously and to improve power system's accountability and system performance parameters. Due to finding solution which is closer to realistic characteristics, load forecasting, market price errors and the uncertainties related to the variable output power of wind based DG units are put in consideration. This work employs NSGA-II accompanied by the fuzzy set theory to solve the aforementioned multi-objective problem. The proposed scheme finally leads to a solution with a minimum voltage deviation, a maximum voltage stability, lower amount of pollutant and lower cost. The cost includes the installation costs of new equipment, reconfiguration costs, power loss cost, reliability cost, cost of energy purchased from power market, upgrade costs of lines and operation and maintenance costs of DGs. Therefore, the proposed methodology improves power quality, reliability and security in lower costs besides its preserve, with the operational indices of power distribution networks in acceptable level. | 10 | 套作对大豆苗期碳氮物质代谢的影响及其与抗倒伏性的关系显示文摘为从植株光形态建成的角度,阐明玉米-大豆套作模式下,大豆苗期倒伏发生的原因。在大豆单作和玉米-大豆套作两种种植模式下,以强耐阴大豆南豆12和弱耐阴大豆南032-4为试验材料,对大豆倒伏率、茎秆形态、叶片光合特性,茎秆和叶片碳氮代谢物质含量等进行调查、测定和分析。结果表明,由于套作受共生期内玉米的遮阴,大豆处于弱光环境,导致植株形态发生改变,光合速率降低,并发生倒伏,但两种大豆品种受荫蔽影响的程度不同。南豆12受荫蔽的影响较小,倒伏率显著低于南032-4,茎秆长粗比增加幅度和光合速率降低幅度也显著低于南032-4,相关分析表明,倒伏率与茎秆长粗比呈极显著正相关(r=0.946;P<0.01);与叶片光合速率呈显著负相关(r=-0.886;P<0.05);叶片光合速率与光合有效辐射呈极显著正相关(r=0.900;P<0.01),说明套作荫蔽降低了大豆冠层的光合有效辐射而导致大豆叶片光合速率降低是引起套作大豆形态改变,发生倒伏的重要原因;分析大豆叶片光合速率、茎秆碳氮比、叶片碳氮比和倒伏率发现,套作显著降低了茎秆和叶片碳氮比,降低幅度表现为南032-4显著高于南豆12,相关分析表明,叶片光合速率与茎秆和叶片碳氮比呈显著或极显著负相关(r=-0.871,-0.930;P<0.05),茎秆和叶片碳氮比与倒伏率呈极显著正相关(r=0.985,0.968;P<0.01),说明较高的碳氮比是南豆12具有较强抗倒伏能力的生理基础,使其能够在套作环境下维持较优的光形态特性,更适合于套作种植;分析大豆碳氮物质代谢可知,套作显著降低了大豆茎秆和叶片的碳氮代谢物质含量,不同品种间表现为南豆12显著高于南032-4。说明较高的碳氮代谢活性和光合产物运输能力是增强套作大豆抗倒伏能力的物质基础和代谢基础。以玉米-大豆带状套作种植为对象,探明了套作大豆植株倒伏与茎叶碳氮代谢物质转运的关系,为培育套作专用的耐阴抗倒伏大豆品种提供理论支持。 | 任胜茂 邓榆川 文凤君 刘明洁 袁小琴 Sajad Hussain 蒲全明 刘卫国 杨文钰 | 2018 | 草业学报2018,27,9: | 6 |
| 11 | 套作对大豆苗期茎秆纤维素合成相关糖类物质转化的影响及其与叶片光合的关系显示文摘【目的】从纤维素合成相关糖类物质转化的角度,阐明玉米大豆套作模式下,大豆苗期茎秆光形态建成的机理。【方法】在大豆单作和玉米大豆套作两种种植模式下,以强耐荫大豆南豆12和弱耐荫大豆南032-4为试验材料,对叶片光合速率和茎秆总碳、纤维素、可溶性糖、蔗糖、β-1,3-葡聚糖等含量进行测定和分析。【结果】与单作相比,套作大豆由于受到玉米荫蔽,苗期光合速率显著降低,但材料间对套作的反应程度不同,强耐荫大豆南豆12受套作荫蔽的影响程度相对较小,在套作下表现出较强的光合能力;套作显著降低了大豆叶片和茎秆的总碳含量,但南豆12的降低幅度显著低于南032-4。相关分析表明叶片光合速率与叶片和茎秆的总碳含量、茎秆的纤维素含量均呈极显著正相关(r=0.952,0.935,0.825,P<0.01),说明荫蔽通过影响大豆叶片的光合速率,减少了光合产物的积累和向茎秆中的分配,导致大豆植株茎秆纤维素含量降低;强耐荫大豆南豆12在荫蔽下的光合速率较高,光合产物积累较多,适合套作种植。在整个苗期,虽然套作大豆茎秆可溶性糖含量均显著低于单作,但β-1,3-葡聚糖和蔗糖含量在大豆出苗后30—51 d却表现为套作显著高于单作,且在套作模式下,两个大豆糖类物质转化率差异显著;同一种植模式下,强耐荫大豆南豆12茎秆可溶性糖、蔗糖和β-1,3-葡聚糖的含量和转化率均显著或极显著高于南032-4。对纤维素沉积方式分析表明,同一大豆材料,单作模式下茎秆纤维素快速累积时间和累积速率要高于套作;同一种植模式下,强耐荫大豆南豆12纤维素快速累积时间要短于南032-4,但差异较小,而累积速率要高于南032-4,最终导致南豆12的茎秆纤维素含量显著高于南032-4。【结论】套作荫蔽降低了大豆叶片的光合能力,减少了光合产物向茎秆的运输量和茎秆填充物的含量,改变了茎秆纤维素的沉积方式,使得纤维素的含量降低;而强耐荫性大豆南豆12在套作模式下能保持较高光合能力和茎秆纤维素合成能力,具有较强的抗倒伏性。 | 任胜茂 邓榆川 文凤君 Sajad Hussain 蒲全明 于晓波 刘卫国 杨文钰 | 2018 | 中国农业科学2018,51,7: | 6 |

| 14 | Plasma diagnostics by optical emission spectroscopy on manganese ore in conjunction with XRD, XRF and SEM-EDS显示文摘Manganese(Mn) is an important industrial mineral.Information about the chemical and phase constitution along with the concentration of impurities presented in Mn ore is compulsory in assessing its suitability for different applications.We performed the qualitative and quantitative analysis of low-grade Mn ore(LGMO) using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy(LIBS) in conjunction with x-ray diffraction(XRD), x-ray fluorescence(XRF) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM) coupled with energy dispersive x-ray electron spectroscopy(EDS).The optical emission spectra of the LGMO sample displayed the presence of Mn, Si, Ca, Fe, Al, Mg,V, Ti, Sr, Ni, Na, Ba and Li.The plasma parameters, electron temperature and number density were estimated using the Boltzmann plot and Stark broadening line profile methods and were found to be 7500 K±750 K and 8.18±0.8×1017 cm-3, respectively.Quantitative analysis was performed using the calibration-free LIBS(CF-LIBS) method and its outcome along with XRD, XRF and SEM-EDS data showed almost analogous elemental composition, while the LIBS method gave acceptably precise elemental analysis by detecting the low atomic number element Li besides V and Sr.The results obtained using LIBS for the LGMO exhibited its ability as a powerful analytical tool and XRF, XRD and SEM-EDS as complementary methods for the compositional analysis of complex low-grade mineral ore. | Muhammad FAHAD Sajad ALI Yaseen IQBAL | 2019 | Plasma Science and Technology2019,21,8: | 4 |
| 15 | Effect of shade stress on lignin biosynthesis in soybean stems显示文摘To clarify how shade stress affects lignin biosynthesis in soybean stem, two varieties, Nandou 12(shade tolerant) and Nan 032-4(shade susceptible) grew under normal light and shade conditions(the photosynthetically active radiation and the ratio of red:far-red were lower than normal light condition). Lignin accumulation, transcripts of genes involved in lignin biosynthesis, and intermediates content of lignin biosynthesis were analyzed. Both soybean varieties suffered shade stress had increased plant heights and internode lengths, and reduced stem diameters and lignin accumulation in stems. The expression levels of lignin-related genes were significantly influenced by shade stress, with interactions between the light environment and variety. The gene of 3-hydroxylase(C3H), cinnamoyl-Co A reductase(CCR), caffeoylCoAO-methyltransferase(CCoAOMT), and peroxidase(POD) attributed to lignin biosynthesis under shade stress, and the down-regulation of these genes resulted in lower caffeic, sinapic, and ferulic acid levels, which caused a further decrease in lignin biosynthesis. Under shade stress, the shade tolerant soybean variety(Nandou 12) showed stiffer stems, higher lignin content, and greater gene expression level and higher metabolite contents than shade susceptible one. | 16 | Islet transplantation and antioxidant management: A comprehensive review显示文摘Islet transplantation as a promising treatment for type 1 diabetes has received widespread attention. Oxidative stress plays an essential role in cell injury during islet isolation and transplantation procedures. Antioxidants have been used in various studies to improve islet transplantation procedures. The present study reviews the role of oxidative stress and the benefits of antioxidants in islet transplantation procedures. The bibliographical databases Pubmed and Scopus were searched up to November 2008. All relevant human and animal in-vivo and in-vitro studies, which investigated antioxidants on islets, were included. Almost all the tested antioxidants used in the in-vitro studies enhanced islet viability and insulin secretion. Better control of blood glucose after transplantation was the major outcome of antioxidant therapy in all in-vivo studies. The data also indicated that antioxidants improved islet transplantation procedures. | 19 | Using Audiometric Data to Weigh and Prioritize Factors that Affect Workers’ Hearing Loss through Support Vector Machine (SVM) Algorithm显示文摘Workers’exposure to excessive noise is a big universal work-related challenges.One of the major consequences of exposure to noise is permanent or transient hearing loss.The current study sought to utilize audiometric data to weigh and prioritize the factors affecting workers’hearing loss based using the Support Vector Machine(SVM)algorithm.This cross sectional-descriptive study was conducted in 2017 in a mining industry in southeast Iran.The participating workers(n=150)were divided into three groups of 50 based on the sound pressure level to which they were exposed(two experimental groups and one control group).Audiometric tests were carried out for all members of each group.The study generally entailed the following steps:(1)selecting predicting variables to weigh and prioritize factors affecting hearing loss;(2)conducting audiometric tests and assessing permanent hearing loss in each ear and then evaluating total hearing loss;(3)categorizing different types of hearing loss;(4)weighing and prioritizing factors that affect hearing loss based on the SVM algorithm;and(5)assessing the error rate and accuracy of the models.The collected data were fed into SPSS 18,followed by conducting linear regression and paired samples t-test.It was revealed that,in the first model(SPL<70 dBA),the frequency of 8 KHz had the greatest impact(with a weight of 33%),while noise had the smallest influence(with a weight of 5%).The accuracy of this model was 100%.In the second model(7085 dBA),the frequency of 4 KHz had the highest impact(with a weight of 22%),while the frequency of 250 Hz had the smallest influence(with a weight of 3%).The accuracy of this model was 100%too.In the fourth model,the frequency of 4 KHz had the greatest effect(with a weight of 24%),while the frequency of 500 Hz had the smallest effect(with a weight of 4%).The accuracy of this model was found to be 94%.According to the modeling conducted using the SVM algorithm,the frequency of 4 KHz has the most profound effect on predicting changes in hearing loss.Given the high accuracy of the obtained model,this algorithm is an appropriate and powerful tool to predict and model hearing loss. | Hossein ElahiShirvan MohammadReza Ghotbi-Ravandi Sajad Zare Mostafa Ghazizadeh Ahsaee | 2020 | Sound & Vibration2020,54,2: | 2 |
| 20 | Machine vision based expert system to estimate orange mass of three varieties显示文摘A key issue in fruit export is classification and sorting for acceptable marketing.In the present work,the image processing technique was employed to grade three varieties of oranges(Bam,Khooni and Thompson)separately.The reason for choosing this fruit as the object of the study was its abundant consumption worldwide.In this study,14 parameters were extracted:area,eccentricity,perimeter,length/area,blue value,green value,red value,width,contrast,texture,width/area,width/length,roughness,and length.Further,the ANFIS(Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System)method was utilized to estimate the orange mass from the data obtained using the image processing in three varieties.In ANFIS model,samples were divided into two sets,one with 70%for training set and the other one with 30%for testing set.The results of the present study demonstrated that the coefficient of determination(R2)of the best model for Bam,Khooni and Thompson measured 0.948,0.99,and 0.98,respectively.In addition,the results indicated that the estimation accuracy of the best model for Bam,Khooni and Thompson was measured as±3.7 g,±1.28 g,±3.2 g,respectively.This result was very satisfactory for the application of ANFIS to estimate the orange mass. | Hossein Javadikia Sajad Sabzi Hekmat Rabbani | 2017 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,2: | 2 |
