3Dietary and socio-economic factors in relation to Helicobacter pylori re-infection显示文摘AIM:To examine if dietary and socio-economic factors contribute to Helicobacter pylori(H pylori)re-infection. METHODS:The population of patients consisted of subjects in whom H pylori infection had been successfully treated in the past.Patients were divided into two groups:Ⅰ-examined group(111 persons with H pylori re-infection)andⅡ-control group(175 persons who had not been re-infected).The respondents were interviewed retrospectively on their dietary habits and socio-economic factors. RESULTS:A statistically significant lower frequency of fermented dairy products(P<0.0001),vegetables (P=0.02),and fruit(P=0.008)consumption was noted among patients with H pylori re-infection as compared to those who had not been re-infected. 4不同色相‘富士’苹果解袋后着色相关因子变化显示文摘为了解‘富士’苹果解袋后着色相关主要生理指标变化,测定‘富士’苹果解袋后12 d内主要着色生理和表型指标,实验数据使用Excel 2016、SPSS 19等软件进行处理与分析。结果显示,生理及外观指标综合聚类可将‘富士’苹果解袋后关键着色期分为2个阶段:着色变化剧烈期(前6 d,S1)和着色变化平缓期(后6 d,S2)。‘富士’苹果解袋至完全上色12 d内花青苷迅速积累,叶绿素、类胡萝卜素含量逐渐下降,第6天后色素含量趋于稳定;果皮红色程度加深,颜色种类变少,色彩逐渐鲜明,色彩饱和度升高,于第6天后(S2时期)变化趋势减缓。对条红和片红2种色相‘富士’苹果研究结果显示,前者主要色素、色泽以及着色指标均优于后者。由此得出,‘富士’苹果解袋后至完全着色期可以分为着色变化剧烈期和着色变化平缓期两个时期,花青苷、叶绿素及类胡萝卜素是影响富士苹果着色的重要色素指标,条纹‘富士’整体着色水平优于片红‘富士’。迟馨 王心悦 刘学卿 姜中武 Sylwia Keller-Przybylkowicz 宋来庆 杜晓云 2021分子植物育种2021,19,5:4
5Pediatric non-alcoholic steatohepatitis:The first report on the ultrastructure of hepatocyte mitochondria显示文摘AIM:To investigate the ultrastructure of abnormal hepatocyte mitochondria,including their cellular and hepatic zonal distribution,in bioptates in pediatric nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH).METHODS:Ultrastructural investigations were conducted on biopsy liver specimens obtained from 10children(6 boys and 4 girls)aged 2-14 years with previously clinicopathologically diagnosed NASH.The disease was diagnosed if liver biopsy revealed steatosis,inflammation,ballooned hepatocytes,Mallory hyaline,or focal necrosis,varying degrees of fibrosis in the absence of clinical,serological,or histological findings of infectious liver diseases,autoimmune hepatitis,metabolic liver diseases,or celiac disease.For ultrastructural analysis,fresh small liver blocks(1 mm3 volume)were fixed in a solution containing 2%paraformaldehyde and 2.5%glutaraldehyde in 0.1 mol/L cacodylate buffer.The specimens were postfixed in osmium tetroxide,subsequently dehydrated through a graded series of ethanols and propylene oxide,and embedded in Epon812.The material was sectioned on a Reichert ultramicrotome to obtain semithin sections,which were stained with methylene blue in sodium borate.Ultrathin sections were contrasted with uranyl acetate and lead citrate,and examined using an Opton EM 900 transmission electron microscope.RESULTS:Ultrastructural analysis of bioptates obtained from children with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis revealed characteristic repetitive mitochondrial abnormalities within hepatocytes;mainly mitochondrial polymorphisms such as megamitochondria,loss of mitochondrial cristae,and the presence of linear crystalline inclusions within the mitochondrial matrix of an increased electron density.The crystalline inclusions were particularly evident within megamitochondria(MMC),which seemed to be distributed randomly both within the hepatic parenchymal cell and the zones of hepatic lobule,without special variations in abundance.The inclusions appeared as bundles viewed longitudinally,or as an evenly spaced matrix in cross section,and frequently caused mitochondrial deformation.The average diameter of these linear structures was 10 nm and the average space between them 20 nm.Sometimes enlarged intramitochondrial granules were seen in their vicinity.Foamy cytoplasm of hepatocytes was found,resulting from the proliferation of smooth endoplasmic reticulum and glycogen accumulation.The perivascular space of Disse was frequently dilated,and contained transitional hepatic stellate cells,as well as mature and/or newly forming collagen fiber bundles.CONCLUSION:Marked ultrastructural abnormalities observed in hepatocyte mitochondria,especially their polymorphism in the form of MMC and loss of mitochondrial cristae,accompanied by foamy cytoplasm,clearly indicate a major role of these organelles in the morphogenesis of pediatric NASH.Our findings seem to prove the high effectiveness of electron microscopy in the diagnosis of the disease.Joanna M Lotowska Maria E Sobaniec-Lotowska Sylwia B Bockowska Dariusz M Lebensztejn 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,15:3
6GDF-15 Level Correlates with CMKLR1 and VEGF-A in Tumor-free Margin in Colorectal Cancer显示文摘Colorectal cancer(CRC)is the third most frequently diagnosed cancer worldwide,responsible for over 880000 deaths each year.Growth/differentiation factor 15(GDF-15)is reported to be a promising diagnostic and prognostic factor in CRC.It induces pleiotropic effects in tumor cells:proliferation,sternness,invasion and metastasis.Some studies indicate that GDF-15 may stimulate angiogenesis in malignant neoplasms.However,it has not been investigated in CRC yet.The aim of our study was to determine the level of GDF-15 and the concentrations of hypoxia-inducible factor-la(HIF-1α),VEGF-A and chemokine-like receptor 1(CMKLR1)in tumor and margin specimens of CRC in relation to histological grade and TNM staging.The study comprised 33 samples of tumor and margin tissues obtained from CRC patients.To assess the concentration of GDF-15,HIF-1α,VEGF-A and CMKLR1,commercially available enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)kits were used.We found significantly increased levels of GDF-15 and CMKLR1 in tumor tissue compared to margin tissue and higher concentrations of HIF-1α and VEGF-A in margin tissue than in tumor tissue.The levels of GDF-15 and HIF-1α were significantly correlated with VEGF-A and CMKLR1 in margin tissue.In CRC,the increased level of GDF-15 might stimulate angiogenesis through upregulation of HIF-1α,VEGF A and CMKLR1 expression.Our study is the first one to reveal the correlation between the levels of GDF-15 and CMKLR1 in CRC.The elevated levels of HIF-1α and VEGF-A in tumor-free margin tissues suggest that noncancer cells in the tumor microenvironment are an important source of proangiogenic factors.Sylwia Mielcarska Kamila Stopifnska Miriam Dawidowicz Agnieszka Kula Pawel Kicamer Alicja Prawdric Senkowska Ewa Nowakowska Zajde Katarzyna Walkiewicz Dariusz Waniczek Elzbieta Swietochowska 2021Current Medical Science2021,41,3:3

8不同色相‘富士’苹果解袋后着色过程中DNA甲基化的差异分析显示文摘以十四年生‘富士’苹果为试材,采用甲基化敏感扩增多态性(methylation sensitive amplified polymorphism,MSAP)技术,研究了不同色相‘富士’苹果解袋后12 d着色期内果皮DNA全基因组甲基化变化,以探讨‘富士’苹果着色与其果皮DNA全基因组甲基化的关系。结果表明:Ⅱ型甲基化(外侧胞嘧啶半甲基化/CGH甲基化)、Ⅲ型甲基化(内侧胞嘧啶全甲基/CG甲基化)在解袋第6天明显出现一个拐点,甲基化水平和甲基化模式变异在2个着色期(前6 d为S1期,后6 d为S2)变化明显,甲基化水平明显降低,甲基化模式前期以甲基化为主,后期则以去甲基化为主。可见,去甲基化在解袋后‘富士’苹果着色期可能发挥了重要作用;条红和全红2种色相‘富士’苹果研究结果显示,DNA的甲基化水平及模式变化条红‘富士’更为明显。该研究可为不同色相富士苹果的鉴定,以及富士苹果的选育,着色的调控提供新的思路。迟馨 王心悦 刘学卿 KELLER-PRZYBYLKOWICZ Sylwia 宋来庆 杜晓云 2020北方园艺2020,,17:2
9Decreased serum platelet derived growth factor BB levels in acute and increased in chronic pancreatitis显示文摘AIM: To examine circulating growth factor concentrations in patients with acute pancreatitis(AP) and chronic pancreatitis(CP), and walled-off pancreatic necrosis(WOPN). METHODS: Forty patients with mild AP, 40 patients with alcoholic CP, 33 patients with WOPN and 40 healthy subjects were examined. Serum concentrations of platelet derived growth factor BB(PDGF-BB), transforming growth factor β-1(TGFβ-1), chemerin and high-mobility group box chromosomal protein 1(HMBG1) were assayed by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS: Patients with mild AP and those with WOPN had significantly lower serum levels of PDGF-BB compared to healthy subjects(4.0 ± 0.61 ng/mL vs 6.2 ± 0.76 ng/mL, P = 0.027, and 1.60 ± 0.31 ng/mL vs 6.2 ± 0.76 ng/mL, P < 0.001, respectively), while CP was associated with higher serum levels of PDGF-BB(12 ± 1.3 ng/mL vs 6.2 ± 0.76 ng/mL, P < 0.001). Circulating TGFβ-1 and chemerin levels were elevated in CP patients(57 ± 3.6 ng/mL vs 39 ± 3.6 ng/mL, P < 0.001 and 73 ± 7.2 ng/mL vs 48 ± 2.3 ng/mL, P < 0.001, respectively), but not in patients with AP and WOPN. No significant changes in serum HMBG1 levels were found either in patients with AP, WOPN or CP. CONCLUSION: The serum levels of some growth factors and cytokines differ significantly in AP, WOPN and CP. 10Emission of BTEX and PAHs from molding sands with furan cold setting resins containing different contents of free furfuryl alcohol during production of cast iron显示文摘At present, furan resin is the largest selling no-bake system of moulding sands. The most commonly used furan no-bake binders(FNB) are condensation products of furfuryl alcohol(FA) urea, formaldehyde and phenol. They are generally cured by exposure to organic sulfonic acids. FNB provide excellent mold and core strength, cure rapidly and allow the sand to be reclaimed at fairly high yields, generally 75%-80%, especially in applications where due allowance is made for the need to keep total sulfur content below 0.1%. However, due to probable carcinogenic properties of furfuryl alcohol, the EU Directive limits the content of this substance(in a monomer form in resin) to 25%. The classification of furfuryl alcohol and the resulting furan resin products has changed from 'harmful' to 'toxic by inhalation'. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of free furfuryl alcohol content in the resin on the emission of harmful substances from the BTEX(Benzene Toluene Ethylbenzene & Xylene) and PAHs(polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon) group exposed to high temperature and how it affects the emissions allowance of reclaimed sand in the matrix. Three resins from a leading manufacturer were examined, which contain a free furfuryl alcohol content of 71%-72%, about 50% and < 25%, respectively. The hardener for each resin was 65% aqueous solution of paratoluenesulfonic acid. Tests were carried out in semi-industrial conditions where liquid cast-iron was poured into sample sand mold at 1,350 °C. The matrix of the studied sands was reclaimed in the amount of 0, 50%, 100%, respectively.With the increase of free furfuryl alcohol content, the volume of evolved gases decreased. For all resins the main component from the BTEX group dominating in the emitted gases was benzene; however toluene also appeared in the amount of a few percentages. In contrast, ethylbenzene and xylenes occurred only in the gases emitted from resin-bonded sands with the largest furfuryl alcohol content. The increase in the share of reclaimed sands resulted in very significant increase in the volume of gas generated and participation of benzene in these gases. In terms of emission of compounds from the PAHs group virtually for all resins, the total content of these substances was comparable(within the limits of error).
