1可验证安全外包矩阵计算及其应用显示文摘矩阵计算在科学计算和密码学领域中都有着重要的作用.许多密码协议、科学和数值计算问题都涉及到了矩阵计算.然而,对那些计算能力有限的用户来说,独立完成矩阵计算并不是件容易的事情.云计算拥有强大的计算资源,它使得用户的计算能力不再受限于他们的资源约束型设备,他们可以外包工作量给云.本文围绕矩阵计算展开研究,针对矩阵乘积、矩阵的行列式以及矩阵的逆这3种运算,分别设计了切实可行的可验证安全外包协议.与已有的关于这3种可验证外包计算的协议相比,我们的协议在效率和安全性方面都有了改进,而且我们的协议不需要任何的密码学假设.本文中,还为我们的协议给出两个具体应用,即为'大型线性方程组的求解'以及'基于纠错码的密码体制的实现'这两个问题分别构造了高效的可验证外包计算协议.胡杏 裴定一 唐春明 Duncan S.WONG 2013中国科学:信息科学2013,43,7:22

4Synthesis and electrocatalytic applications of flower-like motifs and associated composites of nitrogen-enriched tungsten nitride(W2N3)显示文摘We have sought to improve the electrocatalytic performance of tungsten nitride through synthetic control over chemical composition and morphology.In particular,we have generated a thermodynamically unstable but catalytically promising nitrogen-rich phase of tungsten via a hydrothermal generation of a tungsten oxide intermediate and subsequent annealing in ammonia.The net product consisted of three-dimensional(3D)micron-scale flower-like motifs of W2N3;this architecture not only evinced high structural stability but also incorporated the favorable properties of constituent two-dimensional nanosheets.From a performance perspective,as-prepared 3D W2N3 demonstrated promising hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)activities,especially in an acidic environment with a measured overpotential value of−101 mV at a current density of 10 mA/cm^2.To further enhance the electrocatalytic activity,small amounts of precious metal nanoparticles(such as Pt and Au),consisting of variable sizes,were uniformly deposited onto the underlying 3D W2N3 motifs using a facile direct deposition method;these composites were applied towards the CO2 reduction reaction(CO2RR).A highlight of this series of experiments was that Au/W2N3 composites were found to be a much more active HER(as opposed to either a CO2RR or a methanol oxidation reaction(MOR))catalyst.Sha Tan Brian M.Tackett Qun He Ji Hoon Lee Jingguang G.Chen Stanislaus S.Wong 2020Nano Research2020,13,5:2
5Microbial responses to combined oxidation and catalysis treatment of 1,4-dioxane and co-contaminants in groundwater and soil显示文摘Post-treatment impacts of a novel combined hydrogen peroxide(H2O_(2))oxidation and WOx/ZrO_(2) catalysis used for the removal of 1,4-dioxane and chlorinated volatile organic compound(CVOC)contaminants were investigated in soil and groundwater microbial community.This treatment train removed~90%1,4-dioxane regardless of initial concentrations of 1,4-dioxane and CVOCs.The Illumina Miseq platform and bioinformatics were used to study the changes to microbial community structure.This approach determined that dynamic shifts of microbiomes were associated with conditions specific to treatments as well as 1,4-dioxane and CVOCs mixtures.The biodiversity was observed to decrease only after oxidation under conditions that included high levels of 1,4-dioxane and CVOCs,but increased when 1,4-dioxane was present without CVOCs.WO_(x)/ZrO_(2) catalysis reduced biodiversity across all conditions.Taxonomic classification demonstrated oxidative tolerance for members of the genera Massilia and Rhodococcus,while catalyst tolerance was observed for members of the genera Sphingomonas and Devosia.Linear discriminant analysis effect size was a useful statistical tool to highlight representative microbes,while the multidimensional analysis elucidated the separation of microbiomes under the low 1,4-dioxane-only condition from all other conditions containing CVOCs,as well as the differences of microbial population among original,post-oxidation,and post-catalysis states.The results of this study enhance our understanding of microbial community responses to a promising chemical treatment train,and the metagenomic analysis will help practitioners predict the microbial community status during the post-treatment period,which may have consequences for long-term management strategies that include additional biodegradation treatment or natural attenuation.Yu Miao Nicholas W.Johnson Kimberly Heck Sujin Guo Camilah D.Powell Thien Phan Phillip B.Gedalanga David T.Adamson Charles J.Newell Michael S.Wong Shaily Mahendra 2018Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2018,12,5:2

13Optically invariant InGaN nanowire light-emitting diodes on flexible substrates under mechanical manipulation显示文摘The integration of GaN-based light-emitting diodes(LEDs)onto flexible platforms provides opportunities for conformal lighting,wearable electronics,and bendable displays.While this technology may enhance the functionality of the light source,the development of flexible GaN LEDs suffers from performance degradation,when mechanical bending is applied during operation.A unique approach to eliminate the degradation employs dot-in-wire structures,using cylindrical light-emitting heterostructures that protrude above the flexible platform,separating the active light-emitting region from the bending substrate.Here,we demonstrate the optical enhancement of nanowire light emitters by changing the geometric orientation within a 1×1 mm^(2) array of nanowires on a flexible platform through bending of the substrate platform.The flexible structures were achieved by transferring GaN nanowire LEDs from sapphire substrates onto flexible polyethylene terephthalate(PET)using a“paste-and-cut”integration process.The I–V characteristics of the nanowire LEDs showed negligible change after integration onto the PET,with a turn-on voltage of 2.5 V and a forward current of 400μA at 4 V.A significant advantage for the nanowire devices on PET was demonstrated by tilting the LEDs through substrate bending that increased the electroluminescence(EL)intensity,while the I–V characteristics and the EL peak position remained constant.Through finite-element analysis and three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain modeling,it was determined that tilting the protruding devices changed the effective distance between the structures,enhancing their electromagnetic coupling to increase light output without affecting the electrical properties or peak emission wavelength of the LEDs.Mohsen Asad Renjie Wang Yong-Ho Ra Pranav Gavirneni Zetian Mi William S.Wong 2019npj Flexible Electronics2019,3,1:1

19Nanoscale plasma-activated aerosol generation for in situ surface pathogen disinfection显示文摘Plasma treatment constitutes an efficient method for chemical-free disinfection.A spray-based system for dispensing plasma-activated aerosols onto surfaces would facilitate disinfection of complex and/or hidden surfaces inaccessible to direct line-of-sight(for example,UV)methods.The complexity and size of current plasma generators(for example,plasma jet and cometary plasma systems)-which prohibit portable operation,together with the short plasma lifetimes,necessitate a miniaturized in situ technique in which a source can be simultaneously activated and administered on-demand onto surfaces.Here,we demonstrate this possibility by combining two nanoscale technologies for plasma and aerosol generation into an integrated device that is sufficiently small and lightweight.Plasma is generated on a carpet of zinc oxide nanorods comprising a nanoneedle ensemble,which when raised to a high electric potential,constitutes a massive point charge array with near-singular electric fields to effect atmospheric breakdown.The plasma is then used to activate water transported through an underlying capillary wick,that is subsequently aerosolized under MHz-order surface acoustic waves.We show that the system,besides being amenable to miniaturization and hence integration into a chipscale device,leads to a considerable improvement in plasma-activation over its macroscale cometary discharge predecessor,with up to 20%and 127%higher hydrogen peroxide and nitrite ion concentrations that are respectively generated in the plasma-activated aerosols.This,in turn,leads to a 67%reduction in the disinfection time to achieve 95%bacterial load reduction,therefore demonstrating the potential of the technology as an efficient portable platform for on-demand field-use surface disinfection.Nicholas S.L.Chew Kiing S.Wong Wei S.Chang Chien W.Ooi Leslie Y.Yeo Ming K.Tan 2022Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,2:0
