| 1 | Positive impact of adding No.14v lymph node to D2 dissection on survival for distal gastric cancer patients after surgery with curative intent显示文摘Background:D2 lymphadenectomy has been increasingly regarded as standard surgical procedure for advanced gastric cancer(GC),while the necessity of No.14 v lymph node(14v) dissection for distal GC is still controversial.Methods:A total of 920 distal GC patients receiving at least a D2 lymph node dissection in Department of Gastric Cancer,Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital were enrolled in this study,of whom,243 patients also had the 14 v dissected.Other 677 patients without 14 v dissection were used for comparison.Results:Forty-five(18.5%) patients had 14 v metastasis.There was no significant difference in 3-year overall survival(OS) rate between patients with and without 14 v dissection.Following stratified analysis,in TNM stages I,II,IIIa and IV,14 v dissection did not affect 3-year OS;in contrast,patients with 14 v dissection had a significant higher 3-year OS than those without in TNM stages IIIb and IIIc.In multivariate analysis,14 v dissection was found to be an independent prognostic factor for GC patients with TNM stage IIIb/IIIc disease [hazard ratio(HR),1.568;95% confidence interval(CI):1.186-2.072;P=0.002].GC patients with 14 v dissection had a significant lower locoregional,especially lymph node,recurrence rate than those without 14 v dissection(11.7 % vs.21.1%,P=0.035).Conclusions:Adding 14 v to D2 lymphadenectomy may be associated with improved 3-year OS for distal GC staged TNM Ⅲb/Ⅲc. | Yuexiang Liang Liangliang Wu Xiaona Wang Xuewei Ding Hongmin Liu Bin Li Baogui Wang Yuan Pan Rupeng Zhang Ning Liu Han Liang | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2015,27,6: | 22 |

| 3 | The status of exploitation techniques of natural gas hydrate显示文摘Natural gas hydrate(NGH)has been widely considered as an alternative form of energy with huge potential,due to its tremendous reserves,cleanness and high energy density.Several countries involving Japan,Canada,India and China have launched national projects on the exploration and exploitation of gas hydrate resources.At the beginning of this century,an early trial production of hydrate resources was carried out in Mallik permafrost region,Canada.Japan has conducted the first field test from marine hydrates in 2013,followed by another trial in 2017.China also made its first trial production from marine hydrate sediments in 2017.Yet the low production efficiency,ice/hydrate regeneration,and sand problems are still commonly encountered;the worldwide progress is far before commercialization.Up to now,many gas production techniques have been proposed,and a few of them have been adopted in the field production tests.Nevertheless,hardly any method appears really promising;each of them shows limitations at certain conditions.Therefore,further efforts should be made on the economic efficiency as well as sustainability and environmental impacts.In this paper,the investigations on NGH exploitation techniques are comprehensively reviewed,involving depressurization,thermal stimulation,chemical inhibitor injection,CO2–CH4 exchange,their combinations,and some novel techniques.The behavior of each method and its further potential in the field test are discussed.The advantages and limitations of laboratory studies are also analyzed.The work could give some guidance in the future formulation of exploitation scheme and evaluation of gas production behavior from hydrate reservoirs. | Lei Yang Yulong Liu Hanquan Zhang Bo Xiao Xianwei Guo Rupeng Wei Lei Xu Lingjie Sun Bin Yu Shudong Leng Yanghui Li | 2019 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2019,27,9: | 9 |
| 4 | Mechanism of acupuncture regulating visceral sensation and mobility显示文摘Chinese ancient medical scientists have long focused on the internal and external contacts between acupoints on the surface of the body and the viscera.The Miraculous Pivot(it is one of the earliest medical classics in China)stated,“Twelve regular channels belong to the zang-fu organs internally,and connect to the extremities and joints externally.”Traditional Chinese medicine considers acupoints as defined areas where the Qi of viscera and meridians are transfused.These include the reaction points of visceral diseases on the body surface as well as the acupuncture trigger points that promote the flow of Qi and blood,and regulate visceral function.Chinese ancient medical scientists classified the specificity of the main acupoints in the body based on the meridian doctrine,which has been instructing clinical application for about 2000 years.Laws on the domino effect of acupoints have mainly focused on conclusions to clinical experiences.Indications of some acupoints exceed the practical paradigm since the excessive extension occurred during theory derivation.The current research direction on acupuncture focuses on three aspects:the effectiveness of acupuncture and moxibustion;the relevances and associations between meridians and viscera;and the physical and chemical properties and relevant physical basis of acupoints.The relevance between meridians and viscera is the central theory in the meridian doctrine,and acupoints are regarded as an important link in the relationship between meridians and viscera.Specific relationships between acupoints and target organs exist.Stimulating different acupoints on the body surface can help deal with different diseases,especially visceral diseases.In addition,acupoints have a dual function of reflecting and treating visceral diseases.There is no systemic research available on acupoint specificity,despite current knowledge and clinical experiences,which results in a weak foundation for acupuncture theory.This study focuses on the relevance and associations between meridians and viscera.A summary of the mechanisms of acupuncture regulating visceral sensation and mobility and the specific relationships between acupoints and their target organs are presented in this review. | Peijing Rong Bing Zhu Yuqing Li Xinyan Gao Hui Ben Yanhua Li Liang Li Wei He Rupeng Liu Lingling Yu | 2011 | Frontiers of Medicine2011,5,2: | 8 |
| 5 | Elevated preoperative plasma D-dimer dose not adversely affect survival of gastric cancer after gastrectomy with curative intent: A propensity score analysis显示文摘Objective: Elevated plasma D-dimer has been reported to be associated with advanced tumor stage and poor survival in several types of malignancies. The purpose of this study was to assess the potential impact of preoperative plasma D-dimer level(PDL) on overall survival(OS) of gastric cancer(GC) patients undergoing curative surgery by applying propensity score analysis.Methods: A total of 1,025 curatively resected GC patients in Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute &Hospital were enrolled. Patients were categorized into two groups based on preoperative PDL: the elevated group(EG) and the normal group(NG). To overcome bias due to the different distribution of covariates for the two groups, a one-to-one match was applied using propensity score analysis, after matching, prognostic factors were analyzed.Results: In analysis for the whole study series, patients in the EG were more likely to have a larger proportion of tumor size ≥5 cm(67.5% vs. 55.8%, P=0.006), elder mean age(64.0±10.8 years vs. 60.5±11.6 years, P<0.001) and advanced tumor(T), node(N), and TNM stage. Patients with elevated PDL demonstrated a significantly lower 5-year OS than those with normal PDL(27.0% vs. 42.6%, P<0.001), however, the PDL was not an independent prognostic factor for OS in multivariate analysis [hazard ratio: 1.13, 95% confidence interval(95% CI): 0.92–1.39,P=0.236]. After matching, 163 patients in the EG and 163 patients in the NG had the same characteristics. | 7 | MOF-Derived ZnS Nanodots/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene Hybrids Boosting Superior Lithium Storage Performance显示文摘ZnS has great potentials as an anode for lithium storage because of its high theoretical capacity and resource abundance;however,the large volume expansion accompanied with structural collapse and low conductivity of ZnS cause severe capacity fading and inferior rate capability during lithium storage. Herein,0D-2 D ZnS nanodots/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_x MXene hybrids are prepared by anchoring ZnS nanodots on Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene nanosheets through coordination modulation between MXene and MOF precursor(ZIF-8) followed with sulfidation. The MXene substratecoupled with the ZnS nanodots can synergistically accommodate volume variation of ZnS over charge–discharge to realize stable cyclability. As revealed by XPS characterizations and DFT calculations,the strong interfacial interaction between ZnS nanodots and MXene nanosheets can boost fast electron/lithium-ion transfer to achieve excellent electrochemical activity and kinetics for lithium storage. Thereby,the as-prepared ZnS nanodots/MXene hybrid exhibits a high capacity of 726.8 mAh g^(-1) at 30 mA g^(-1),superior cyclic stability(462.8 mAh g^(-1) after 1000 cycles at 0.5 A g^(-1)),and excellent rate performance. | 9 | Design and Dynamics Analysis of Anti-skid Braking System for Aircraft with Four-wheel Bogie Landing Gears显示文摘In asymmetric conditions,the movement and loads of left/right wheels or front/back wheels of the aircraft with multi-wheel or four-wheel bogie landing gears are inconsistent.There are few open literatures related to anti-skid braking system for multi-wheels due to technology blockade.In China,the research on multi-channel control and non-equilibrium regulation has just started,and the design of multi-channel control system for anti-skid braking,the simulation of asymmetry taxiing under braking are not studied.In this paper,a dynamics model of ground movement for aircraft with four-wheel bogie landing gears is established for braking simulation, considering the six-degree-of-freedom aircraft body and the movement of bogies and wheels.A multi-channel anti-skid braking system is designed for the wheels of the main landing gears with four-wheel bogies.The eight wheels on left and right landing gears are divided into four groups,and each group is controlled via one channel.The cross protection and self-locked protection modules are added between different channels.A multi-channel anti-skid braking system with slip-ratio control or with slip-velocity control is established separately.Based on the aircraft dynamics model,aircraft braking to stop with anti-skid control on dry runway and on wet runway are simulated.The simulation results demonstrate that in asymmetric conditions,added with cross protection and self-locked protection modules,the slip-ratio-controlled braking system can automatically regulate brake torque to avoid deep slipping and correct aircraft course.The proposed research has reference value for improving brake control effect on wet runway. | ZHANG Ming NIE Hong ZHU Rupeng | 2011 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,2: | 1 |

| 16 | Tailoring a novel hierarchical cheese-like porous biochar from algae residue to boost sulfathiazole removal显示文摘Aquatic pollution caused by antibiotics poses a significant threat to human health and the ecosystem.Inspired from“Emmental Cheese”that owns lots of natural pores,we here fabricated a hierarchical cheese-like porous Spirulina residue biochar(KSBC)activated by KHCO_(3)for efficiently boosting the removal of sulfathiazole(STZ).Through learning form nature that the CO_(2)produced by bacteria can serve as the natural pore maker(like cheese-making),KHCO_(3)was thus selected as the gas generating agent in this study.The effect of adding KHCO_(3)on the surface properties of KSBC was comprehensively investigated.Benefiting from the activation,the KSBC with the mass ratio of 2:1(2K-SBC)possessed the largest specific surface areas(1100 m^(2)g^(-1)),which was approximately 81 times that of the original(not activated)Spirulina residue biochar(SBC)(13.56 m^(2)g^(-1)).Moreover,2K-SBC exhibited the maximum adsorption capacity for STZ(218.4 mg g^(-1)),dramatically higher than the SBC(25.78 mg g^(-1)).The adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherms exhibited that the adsorption behavior of 2K-SBC for STZ was consistent with the pseudo-second-order and Langmuir models.Additionally,the adsorption thermodynamics revealed that the adsorption of STZ on 2K-SBC was spontaneous and exothermic.The pore-filling and electrostatic interaction were considered the main mechanism for the adsorption of STZ on 2K-SBC,whereas the p-p electron donor-acceptor(EDA)interaction and hydrogen bond would also partially contribute to the adsorption process. | Ke Wang Yue Wang Shiyu Zhang Yi-di Chen Rupeng Wang Shih-Hsin Ho | 2022 | Environmental Science and Ecotechnology2022,,2: | 1 |

| 18 | Tuning the intentional corona of cerium oxide nanoparticles to promote angiogenesis via fibroblast growth factor 2 signalling显示文摘Inadequate angiogenesis is a hallmark of conditions including cardiovascular diseases,stroke and chronic diabetic wounds,which exhibit tissue ischaemia ensuring that therapeutic strategies to promote angiogenesis are of great interest.However,many angiogenic treatments involve the delivery of growth factors which have limited clinical success due to poor stability,high manufacturing cost and poor efficacy.Cerium oxide nanoparticles(nanoceria)can either promote or inhibit angiogenesis depending on their surface corona chemistry.Here,nanoceria were functionalized with an intentional heparin corona,a polysaccharide which binds and signals growth factors,of different chain lengths and surface grafting density to establish their effect on angiogenesis.These nanoparticles promoted angiogenesis in vivo with the surface grafting density positively correlated with angiogenesis over the widest concentration range;however,chain length did not play a role.The heparin–nanoceria supported fibroblast growth factor 2(FGF2)signalling in vitro and promoted FGF2-mediated angiogenesis in vivo.The nanoparticles were internalized by endothelial cells in vitro where they trafficked to the lysosomes and reduced cell viability suggesting that the angiogenic activity of heparin–nanoceria is mediated in the extracellular environment.Together,this study adds to our knowledge of the angiogenic effects of heparin–nanoceria towards finding new angiogenic treatments. | Lu Fu Rupeng Li John M.Whitelock Megan S.Lord | 2022 | Regenerative Biomaterials2022,9,1: | 1 |
