Electrical properties and luminescence properties of 0.96(K0.48Na0.52)(Nb0.95Sb0.05)–0.04Bi0.5(Na0.82K0.18)0.5ZrO3–xSm lead-free ceramics显示文摘In this paper,Sm-doped 0.96(K0.48 Na0.52)(Nb0.95 Sb0.05)–0.04 Bi0.5(Na0.82 K0.18)0.5 Zr O3(abbreviated as KNSN–0.04 BNKZ)lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by conventional solid-state sintering method and the effects of Sm2 O3 on the phase structure, microstructure, electrical and luminescent properties of KNSN–0.04 BNKZ potteries were studied. Results revealed that a single solid solution phase with pseudo-cubic perovskite structure was formed between KNSN–0.04 BNKZ and Sm2 O3.Existence of weak dielectric/ferroelectric properties with a diffuse dielectric anomaly and slim P–E hysteresis loops of the Sm-doped KNSN–0.04 BNKZ demonstrated the ferroelectric relaxor behavior of the KNNS–0.04 BNKZ–x Sm ceramics.Accordingly, the temperature stability and fatigue behavior of the modified ceramics were significantly improved. It was found that the KNSN–0.04 BNKZ ceramics with 0.002 mol Sm addition exhibited nearly temperature independent properties and fatigue-free behavior.Moreover,Sm-modified KNSN–0.04 BNKZ exhibits a bright photoluminescence with a strong orange emission under visible light irradiation. As a material with both electrical and luminescent properties,it has good application prospect in future optoelectronic components by integrating its luminescent and electrical properties. | Wei LI Jigong HAO Wei LI Juan DU Peng FU Wenzhi SUN Chong CHEN Zhijun XU Ruiqing CHU | 2020 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,1: | 2
Revealing the grain size dependent hot workability and deformation mechanisms in a Mg-Zn-Y alloy显示文摘Despite the industrial significance of grain size for enhancing mechanical properties and formability, the in-depth deformation mechanisms at elevated temperature are still unclear. To investigate the functions of grain size on hot workability and deformation mechanisms, three groups of Mg-1.2Zn-0.2Y alloy specimens with different grain sizes were hot compressed and then studied by combining constitutive model, processing map and microstructural observations. The results showed that the enhanced hot workability accompanying low deformation activation energy and small instability regime was obtained with refined grain size.During hot deformation, the decreased grain size in Mg1.2Zn-0.2Y alloy mainly improved the plastic deformation homogeneity, especially for the weakened local straining around grain boundaries. As a result, the dynamic recrystallization nucleation and texture development at lower strain level were influenced by the initial grain size.At higher strain magnitude, the growth and coarsening of dynamic recrystallized grains would further release strain localization and improve hot workability, while the texture was less impacted.Further, unlike the primary basal slip and deformation twinning in the specimen with coarse grain at low temperature,non-basal slips of dislocations were initiated with less deformation twins in the specimens with refined grain size. | Ruiqing Lu Zhiming Xu Fulin Jiang Shiwei Xu Dingfa Fu Hui Zhang Jie Teng | 2023 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2023,11,4: | 1
Microstructure, mechanical properties and deformation characteristics of Al-Mg-Si alloys processed by a continuous expansion extrusion approach显示文摘In the present work,a double-pass continuous expansion extrusion forming(CEEF) process was proposed for an Al-Mg-Si alloy,in which the diameter of rods was gradually expanded. The microstructural evolution, mechanical properties and deformation characteristics were investigated by utilizing microstructural observations, mechanical testing and a finite element method coupled with a cellular automata model. The results showed that the strength and ductility of the double-pass CEEF processed Al-Mg-Si alloys were improved synchronously, especially in artificially aged alloys. The grain size of the processed Al-Mg-Si alloy rods was refined remarkably by continuous dynamic recrystallization(CDRX)and geometric dynamic recrystallization(GDRX),and the homogeneity of microstructure was gradually improved with increasing number of processing passes. The artificially aged alloy processed with double-pass CEEF and water quenching contained fine(sub)grains and high-density dislocations, which resulted in more needle-shaped β' precipitates and a larger precipitate aspect ratio than the as-received and air-cooled CEEF alloys owing to the different precipitation kinetics. The severe cumulate strain and microshear bands were found to accelerate CDRX and GDRX for grain refinement between adjacent positions of the parabolic metal flow due to the special temperature characteristics and la rge shear straining during the CEEF process. | Ruiqing Lu Shuwei Zheng Jie Teng Jiamin Hu Dingfa Fu Jianchun Chen Guodong Zhao Fulin Jiang Hui Zhang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,21: | 0
Microstructure, mechanical properties and deformation mechanisms of an Al-Mg alloy processed by the cyclical continuous expanded extrusion and drawing approach显示文摘Al-Mg alloys are an important class of non-heat treatable alloys in which Mg solute and grain size play essential role in their mechanical properties and plastic deformation behaviors. In this work,a cyclical continuous expanded extrusion and drawing(CCEED)process was proposed and implemented on an Al-3Mg alloy to introduce large plastic deformation. The results showed that the continuous expanded extrusion mainly improved the ductility, while the cold drawing enhanced the strength of the alloy. With the increased processing CCEED passes, the multi-pass cross shear deformation mechanism progressively improved the homogeneity of the hardness distributions and refined grain size.Continuous dynamic recrystallization played an important role in the grain refinement of the processed Al-3Mg alloy rods.Besides, the microstructural evolution was basically influenced by the special thermomechanical deformation conditions during the CCEED process. | Ruiqing Lu Long Zhang Shuwei Zheng Dingfa Fu Jie Teng Jianchun Chen Guodong Zhao Fulin Jiang Hui Zhang | 2022 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2022,29,1: | 0
Micro-coevolution of host genetics with gut microbiome in three Chinese ethnic groups显示文摘Understanding the micro-coevolution of the human gut microbiome with host genetics is challenging but essential in both evolutionary and medical studies. To gain insight into the interactions between host genetic variation and the gut microbiome,we analyzed both the human genome and gut microbiome collected from a cohort of 190 students in the same boarding college and representing 3 ethnic groups,Uyghur,Kazakh, and Han Chinese. We found that differences in gut microbiome were greater between genetically distinct ethnic groups than those genetically closely related ones in taxonomic composition, functional composition, enterotype stratification, and microbiome genetic differentiation. We also observed considerable correlations between host genetic variants and the abundance of a subset of gut microbial species.Notably, interactions between gut microbiome species and host genetic variants might have coordinated effects on specific human phenotypes.Bacteroides ovatus, previously reported to modulate intestinal immunity,is significantly correlated with the host genetic variant rs12899811(meta-P=5.55×10^(-5)),which regulates the VPS33B expression in the colon, acting as a tumor suppressor of colorectal cancer. These results advance our understanding of the micro-coevolution of the human gut microbiome and their interactive effects with host genetic variation on phenotypic diversity. | Mingyue Cheng Xueling Ge Chaofang Zhong Ruiqing Fu Kang Ning Shuhua Xu | 2021 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,11: | 0
