1Genetic Structure and Diversity of Parental Cultivars Involved in China Mainland Sugarcane Breeding Programs as Inferred from DNA Microsatellites显示文摘To understand genetic structure and diversity of parental cultivars involved in China Mainland sugarcane breeding programs,92 elite parents and 4 wild relatives were genotyped with 18 microsatellite DNA markers.The genetic similarity(GS) values among the cultivars ranged from 0.346 to 0.960 with an average of 0.533.Among the introduced cultivars,India accessions had the closest genetic distance to China Mainland accessions(0.447),while Australia accessions have the furthest distance(0.503).A comparison of allelic diversity among geographical origins showed that there were 22 China Mainland specific alleles,of which 28% were derived from native S.spontaneaum germplasm in China.Model-based genetic structure,clustering,and principal components analyses consistently revealed there were five groups within the 96 accessions.Groups 1,2,4,and 5 consisted of all cultivars and group 3 only contained wild germplasm.Group 2 was characterized as the Introduction group with 46 cultivars predominantly introduced from Australia,Taiwan of China,India,and USA.Groups 1,4,and 5 consisted of cultivars mostly originated from China Mainland,defined as the Complex group,Yacheng lines group,and F134/CP72-1210 group,respectively,upon their pedigree.By understanding the genetic relationships among the parental cultivars,breeders can gain a rational basis for expanding the gene pool and select the best parental accessions for crossing.QI Yong-wen PAN Yong-bao LAO Fang-ye ZHANG Chui-ming FAN Li-na HE Hui-yi LIU Ruin WANG Qin-nan LIU Shao-mou LIU Fu-ye LI Qi-wei DENG Hai-hua 2012Journal of Integrative Agriculture2012,11,11:6

5Esterification of acetic acid with isobutanol catalyzed by ionic liquid n-sulfopropyl-3-methylpyridinium trifluoromethanesulfonate:Experimental and kinetic study显示文摘As an important organic,isobutyl acetate(IbAc)has been widely used in industries because of its good biodegradability,low surface tension,and other properties.The industrial production of IbAc is usually catalyzed by sulfuric acid.However,the use of sulfuric acid has the drawbacks of causing considerable corrosion to equipment and being difficult to be separated.In this work,n-sulfopropyl-3-methylpyridinium trifluoromethanesulfonate([HSO_(3)-PMPY][CF_(3)SO_(3)])Bronsted acidic ionic liquid(BAIL)was used as the catalyst and the catalytic activity,solubility,and corrosiveness were evaluated for the esterification of acetic acid with isobutanol.The reaction kinetics and chemical equilibrium were systemically studied.Compared to conventional acid catalysts,[HSO_(3)-PMPY][CF_(3)SO_(3)]showed higher catalytic activity,more excellent reusability,more favorable phase separation,and non-corrosiveness.Three kinetic equations based on ideal homogeneous(IH),non-ideal homogeneous(NIH),and modified nonideal homogeneous(NIH-M)models were established and correlated with the experimental data to determine the parameters and errors.The NIH-M model exhibited the best agreement with the experimental data,owing to its prediction considering the non-ideality and the self-catalysis effect of acetic acid in this system.Besides,the error of NIH-M model fitting was mainly caused by the difference in solubility between[HSO_(3)-PMPY][CF_(3)SO_(3)]with reactants and products in the reaction system.Furthermore,the applicability of the NIH-M model was investigated by simulating the esterification of acetic acid with three short-chain alcohols(ethanol,n-butanol,and isobutanol)catalyzed by BAILs.The NIH-M model displayed an acceptable simulation for this type of acetic acid esterification reaction catalyzed by BAILs at different ranges of the BAILs concentration and temperature.This study confirmed the industrial prospects of[HSO_(3)-PMPY][CF_(3)SO_(3)]in isobutyl acetate production and the applicability of the NIH-M kinetic model in the esterification of acetic acid.Meng Shi Kelei Huang Ruining He Yinghua Jiang Yun Zou Jing Xu Zhangfa Tong 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,63,11:0
6Metabolic signatures in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma:diagnostic and therapeutic implications显示文摘Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)is the prototypical aggressive cancer that develops in nutrient-deficient and hypoxic microenvironment.PDAC overcomes these restrictions by employing unconventional tactics for the procurement and usage of fuel sources.The substantial reprogramming of PDAC cell metabolism is driven by oncogene-mediated cell-autonomous pathways.PDAC cells use glucose,glutamine,and lipids for energy and depend on autophagy and macropinocytosis for survival and growth.They also interact metabolically with non-cancerous cells,aiding tumor progression.Many clinical trials focusing on altered metabolism are ongoing.Understanding the metabolic regulation of PDAC cells will not only help to increase understanding of the mechanisms of disease progression but also provide insights for the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.Ruining Gong Yonglu Hu Qian Yu Lin Fang He Ren 2023Journal of Pancreatology2023,6,4:0
