1International experience of green development in Western China:an overall review of policy and practice显示文摘Green development emphasizes co-development between economic and environmental dimensions,and is a peoplecentered sustainable development approach.Western China demands green development,and international experience could provide necessary,unique and important help and support for Western China to achieve its green development goals.This paper has made a comprehensive overall review and analysis of international experience in green development policy and its implementation,in particular,OECD countries'(mostly Australia and Canada) experience have been analyzed following the major policy foci defined by the Task Force on Strategy and Policies on Environment and Development in Western China initiated by China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development(CCICED).Data and information were gathered from the field surveys and investigations,expert meetings,as well as literature review.The main sessions include policy framework and road map establishment,implementation and performance assessment,co-development between economic development and environmental protection,as well as green employment and poverty alleviation.The paper has addressed five policy considerations for the future promotion of green development in Western China.Lin Zhen Jie Hu Bingzhen Du Jiyuan Liu Chuanzhun Sun Ruizi Wu Xin Long Qiang Zhang 2015Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2015,13,4:5
2Structure Engineering in Biomass-Derived Carbon Materials for Electrochemical Energy Storage显示文摘Biomass-derived carbon materials(B-d-CMs)are considered as a group of very promising electrode materials for electrochemical energy storage(EES)by virtue of their naturally diverse and intricate microarchitectures,extensive and low-cost source,environmental friendliness,and feasibility to be produced in a large scale.However,the practical application of raw B-d-CMs in EES is limited by their relatively rare storage sites and low diffusion kinetics.In recent years,various strategies from structural design to material composite manipulation have been explored to overcome these problems.In this review,a controllable design of B-d-CM structures boosting their storage sites and diffusion kinetics for EES devices including SIBs,Li-S batteries,and supercapacitors is systematically summarized from the aspects of effects of pseudographic structure,hierarchical pore structure,surface functional groups,and heteroatom doping of B-d-CMs,as well as the composite structure of B-d-CMs,aiming to provide guidance for further rational design of the B-d-CMs for high-performance EES devices.Besides,the contemporary challenges and perspectives on B-d-CMs and their composites are also proposed for further practical application of B-d-CMs for EES devices.Ruizi Li Yanping Zhou Wenbin Li Jixin Zhu Wei Huang 2020Research2020,,1:3
3Generating Giant Membrane Vesicles from Live Cells with Preserved Cellular Properties显示文摘Biomimetic giant membrane vesicles,with size and lipid compositions comparable to cells,have been recognized as an attractive experimental alternative to living systems.Due to the similarity of their membrane structure to that of body cells,cell-derived giant plasma membrane vesicles have been used as a membrane model for studying lipid/protein behavior of plasma membranes.However,further application of biomimetic giant membrane vesicles has been hampered by the side-efects of chemical vesiculants and the utilization of osmotic bufer.We herein develop a facile strategy to derive giant membrane vesicles(GMVs)from mammalian cells in biofriendly medium with high yields.Tese GMVs preserve membrane properties and adaptability for surface modifcation and encapsulation of exogenous molecules,which would facilitate their potential biological applications.Moreover,by loading GMVs with therapeutic drugs,GMVs could be employed for drug transport to tumor cells,which represents another step forward in the biomedical application of giant membrane vesicles.Tis study highlights biocompatible GMVs with biomimicking membrane surface properties and adaptability as an ideal platform for drug delivery strategies with potential clinical applications.Qiaoling Liu Cheng Bi Jiangling Li Xuejiao Liu Ruizi Peng Cheng Jin Yang Sun Yifan Lyu Hui Liu Huijing Wang Can Luo Weihong Tan 2019Research2019,,1:2
4Construction of bilayer PdSe2 on epitaxial graphene显示文摘Two-dimensional (2D) materials have received significant attention due totheir unique physical properties and potential applications in electronics andoptoelectronics. Recent studies have demonstrated that exfoliated PdSe2, alayered transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD), exhibits ambipolar field-effecttransistor (FET) behavior with notable performance and good air stability, andthus serves as an emerging candidate for 2D electronics. Here, we report thegrowth of bilayer PdSe2 on a graphene-SiC(0001) substrate by molecular beamepitaxy (MBE). A bandgap of 1.15±0.07 eV was revealed by scanning tunnelingspectroscopy (STS). Moreover, a bandgap shift of 0.2 eV was observed in PdSe2layers grown on monolayer graphene as compared to those grown on bilayergraphene. The realization of nanoscale electronic junctions with atomicallysharp boundaries in 2D PdSe2 implies the possibility of tuning its electronicor optoelectronic properties. In addition, on top of the PdSe2 bilayers, PdSe2nanoribbons and stacks of nanoribbons with a fixed orientation have beenfabricated.
