| 1 | Antibodies against the C-terminal peptide of rabbit oviductin inhibit mouse early embryo development to pass 2-cell stage显示文摘A full-length rabbit oviductin cDNA(1909bp) was cloned. It consists of a 5’-UTR of 52bp, an open reading frame (ORF) of 1374bp and a 3’-UTR of 483bp and has more than 80% homology with that of other mammal oviductins. N-terminal peptide (NTP) (384 residues) and C-terminal peptide (CTP) (73 residues) of deduced protein precursor has about 80% and 50% identity with that of other mammals respectively. Fusion proteins GST-NTP 368(1R-368N)and GST-CTP73 (369F-441A) were expressed and purified. NH2-terminal of CTP sequencing reveals that the purified protein is consistent with the deduced one. In order to study the function of NTP and CTP the mouse anti-NTP and rabbit anti-CTP antisera were prepared. Tissue-specific (skeleton muscle, oviduct, uterus, ovary, liver, heart and brain) analysis indicated that rabbit oviductin was only found in oviduct. The conditioned medium derived from the rabbit oviduct mucosa epithelial cells has a function of overcoming the early embryonic development block of Kunming mous e cultured in vitro. Anti-CTP antiserum could totally inhibit the early embryo development at 2-cell stage cultured in the conditioned culture medium, but anti-NTP antiserum couldn’t. There was a positive relationship between the ratio of early embryos at development block and the dosage of anti-CTP antiserum added in the conditioned culture medium. | 2 | Efficacy of integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and anti-retroviral therapy on immunological nonresponse in patients with human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome: a Meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore the efficacy of integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)and anti-retroviral therapy(ART),a customized combination of different classes of medications which was also called cock-tail treatment,on the immunological nonresponse(INR)in people living with human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)(PLWH).METHODS:Relevant literature in databases such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database(CNKI),Wanfang Digital Journal,Chinese Medical Journal Database(CMJD),Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),Pub Med,Cochrane,and Embase was reviewed by two independent investigators.Data were extracted from the studies according to the eligible criteria and analyzed using Review Manager 5.3.RESULTS:Nine randomized controlled trials(RCTs)with 1078 patients were analyzed.Our analyses showed that CD4 T cell counts in the treatment group improved compared with that in the control group[mean difference(MD)=13.51,95%confidence interval(CI):7.42-19.60,P<0.0001].There was no significant difference between the treated and control groups after 3 months(MD=25.31,95%CI:-2.78 to 53.41,P=0.08).However,after 6 and 12 months,the response of the treatment group was superior to the control group(MD=27.45,95%CI:7.09-47.81,P=0.008 and MD=27.34,95%CI:6.31–48.37,P=0.01,respectively).The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was also higher than that of the control group(RR=1.75,95%CI:1.16-2.65,P=0.007).However,CD45 RO and CD45 RA T cell counts did not differ significantly between the two groups(MD=12.37,95%CI:-6.71 to 31.45,P=0.20 and MD=5.67,95%CI:-3.00 to14.35,P=0.20,respectively).CONCLUSION:The combined treatment strategy of integrated TCM and Western Medicine promotes long-term reconstitution of the immune system and thus,is beneficial and has potential use for improving INR in PLWH.However,large-scale RCTs are required to provide evidence for optimal intervention strategies. | TAO Zhuang HUANG Xiaojie LIU Ying WANG Ru DONG Jipeng LIANG Biyan ZOU Wen GAO Guojian WANG Zhuo ZHANG Ke WU Hao ZHANG Tong WANG Jian | 2021 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021，41，5： | 6 |

| 4 | PhaseⅠdose-escalation and expansion study of PARP inhibitor,fluzoparib(SHR3162),in patients with advanced solid tumors显示文摘Objective:Fluzoparib(SHR3162)is a novel,potent poly(ADP-ribose)polymerases(PARP)1,2 inhibitor that showed anti-tumor activity in xenograft models.We conducted a phaseⅠ,first-in-human,dose-escalation and expansion(D-Esc and D-Ex)trial in patients with advanced solid cancer.Methods:This was a 3+3 phaseⅠD-Esc trial with a 3-level D-Ex at 5 hospitals in China.Eligible patients for DEsc had advanced solid tumors refractory to standard therapies,and D-Ex enrolled patients with ovarian cancer(OC).Fluzoparib was administered orally once or twice daily(bid)at 11 dose levels from 10 to 400 mg/d.Endpoints included dose-finding,safety,pharmacokinetics,and antitumor activity.Results:Seventy-nine patients were enrolled from March,2015 to January,2018[OC(47,59.5%);breast cancer(BC)(16,20.3%);colorectal cancer(8,10.1%),other tumors(8,10.1%)];48 patients were treated in the D-Esc arm and 31 in the D-Ex arm.The maximum tolerated dose(MTD)was 150 mg bid,with a half-life of 9.14 h.Grade 3/4 adverse events included anemia(7.6%)and neutropenia(5.1%).The objective response rate(ORR)was 30%(3/10)in patients with platinum-sensitive OC and 7.7%(1/13)in patients with BC.Among patients treated with fluzoparib≥120 mg/d,median progression-free survival(m PFS)was 7.2[95%confidence interval(95%CI),1.8-9.3]months in OC,9.3(95%CI,7.2-9.3)months in platinum-sensitive OC,and 3.5(range,2.0-28.0)months in BC.In patients with germline BC susceptibility gene mutation(g BRCAMut)(11/43 OC;2/16 BC),m PFS was 8.9 months for OC(range,1.0-23.2;95%CI,1.0-16.8)and 14 and 28 months for BC(those two patients both also had somatic BRCAMut).Conclusions:The MTD of fluzoparib was 150 mg bid in advanced solid malignancies.Fluzoparib demonstrated single-agent antitumor activity in BC and OC,particularly in BRCAMut and platinum-sensitive OC. | Huiping Li Rongrui Liu Bin Shao Ran Ran Guohong Song Ke Wang Yehui Shi Jihong Liu Wenjing Hu Fu Chen Xiaoran Liu Gairong Zhang Chuanhua Zhao Ru Jia Quanren Wang Hope S.Rugo Yifan Zhang Guangze Li Jianming Xu | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020，32，3： | 4 |
| 5 | A Small-Divergence-Angle Orbital Angular Momentum Metasurface Antenna显示文摘Electromagnetic waves carrying an orbital angular momentum (OAM) are of great interest. However, most OAM antennas presentdisadvantages such as a complicated structure, low efficiency, and large divergence angle, which prevents their practicalapplications. So far, there are few papers and research focuses on the problem of the divergence angle. Herein, a metasurfaceantenna is proposed to obtain the OAM beams with a small divergence angle. The circular arrangement and phase gradient wereused to simplify the structure of the metasurface and obtain the small divergence angle, respectively. The proposed metasurfaceantenna presents a high transmission coefficient and effectively decreases the divergence angle of the OAM beam. All thetheoretical analyses and derivation calculations were validated by both simulations and experiments.
