2High-speed long-distance visible light communication based on multicolor series connection micro-LEDs and wavelength division multiplexing显示文摘Multicolor series connection micro-LED arrays with emission wavelengths of violet, blue, green, and yellow were fabricated, and their optoelectronic properties and communication performances were investigated. The designed series connection micro-LED array exhibited the light output power of multiple milliwatts, whereas mostly keeping a slightly reduced modulation bandwidth, thus, enabling a higher signal-to-noise ratio compared to a single pixel and showing superior performance in the field of long-distance visible light communication(VLC). The achievable data rates of 400-, 451-, 509-, and 556-nm micro-LED arrays using bit/power loading orthogonal frequency division multiplexing were 5.71, 4.86, 4.39, and 0.82 Gbps, respectively. The aggregate data rate of 15.78 Gbps was achieved for the proof-of-concept wavelength division multiplexing system under a transmission distance of 13 m, which was the best data rate-distance product performance for the LED-based VLC to the best of our knowledge. 3Dynamic human retinal pigment epithelium(RPE)and choroid architecture based on single-cell transcriptomic landscape analysis显示文摘The retinal pigment epithelium(RPE)and choroid are located behind the human retina and have multiple functions in the human visual system.Knowledge of the RPE and choroid cells and their gene expression profiles are fundamental for understanding retinal disease mechanisms and therapeutic strategies.Here,we sequenced the RNA of about 0.3 million single cells from human RPE and choroids across two regions and seven ages,revealing regional and age differences within the human RPE and choroid.Cell–cell interactions highlight the broad connectivity networks between the RPE and different choroid cell types.Moreover,the transcription factors and their target genes change during aging.The coding of somatic variations increases during aging in the human RPE and choroid at the single-cell level.Moreover,we identified ELN as a candidate for improving RPE degeneration and choroidal structure during aging.The mapping of the molecular architecture of the human RPE and choroid improves our understanding of the human vision support system and offers potential insights into the intervention targets for retinal diseases.Lulin Huang Lin Ye Runze Li Shanshan Zhang Chao Qu Shujin Li Jie Li Mu Yang Biao Wu Ran Chen Guo Huang Bo Gong Zheng Li Hongjie Yang Man Yu Yi Shi Changguan Wang Wei Chen Zhenglin Yang 2023Genes & Diseases2023,10,6:0
4Petroleum geology and sub-source hydrocarbon accumulation of Permian reservoirs in Jinan Sag,eastern Junggar Basin,NW China显示文摘According to the latest drilling and the analysis of the burial history,source rock evolution history and hydrocarbon accumulation history,the sub-source hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics of the Permian reservoirs in the Jinan Sag,eastern Junggar Basin,are clarified,and the hydrocarbon accumulation model of these reservoirs is established.The results are obtained in four aspects.First,the main body of the thick salified lake basin source rocks in the Lucaogou Formation has reached the mature stage with abundant resource base.Large-scale reservoirs are developed in the Jingjingzigou,Wutonggou and Lucaogou formations.Vertically,there are multiple sets of good regional seals,the source-reservoir-caprock assemblage is good,and there are three reservoir-forming assemblages:sub-source,intra-source and above-source.Second,dissolution,hydrocarbon charging and pore-preserving effect,and presence of chlorite film effectively increase the sub-source pore space.Oil charging is earlier than the time when the reservoir becomes densified,which improves the efficiency of hydrocarbon accumulation.Third,buoyancy and source-reservoir pressure difference together constitute the driving force of oil charging,and the micro-faults within the formation give the advantage of'source-reservoir lateral docking'under the source rock.Microfractures can be critical channels for efficient seepage and continuous charging of oil in different periods.Fourth,the Jingjingzigou Formation experienced three periods of oil accumulation in the Middle-Late Permian,Middle-Late Jurassic and Late Neogene,with the characteristics of long-distance migration and accumulation in early stage,mixed charging and accumulation in middle stage and short-distance migration and high-position accumulation in late stage.The discovery and theoretical understanding of the Permian reservoirs in the Jinan Sag reveal that the thrust belt has good conditions for forming large reservoirs,and it is promising for exploration.The study results are of guidance and reference significance for oil and gas exploration in the Jinan Sag and other geologically similar areas.LI Jianzhong CHEN Xuan YANG Runze LIN Tong YANG Fan MA Qiang GOU Hongguang WEI Yanzhao LIN Lin 2023Petroleum Exploration and Development2023,50,3:0

7Genomic prediction of yield performance among single-cross maize hybrids using a partial diallel cross design显示文摘Genomic prediction(GP)in plant breeding has the potential to predict and identify the best-performing hybrids based on the genotypes of their parental lines.In a GP experiment,34 elite inbred lines were selected to make 285 single-cross hybrids in a partial-diallel cross design.These lines represented a mini-core collection of Chinese maize germplasm and comprised 18 inbred lines from the Stiff Stalk heterotic group and 16 inbred lines from the Non-Stiff Stalk heterotic group.The parents were genotyped by sequencing and the 285 hybrids were phenotyped for nine yield and yield-related traits at two locations in the summer sowing area(SUS)and three locations in the spring sowing area(SPS)in the main maizeproducing regions of China.Multiple GP models were employed to assess the accuracy of trait prediction in the hybrids.By ten-fold cross-validation,the prediction accuracies of yield performance of the hybrids estimated by the genomic best linear unbiased prediction(GBLUP)model in SUS and SPS were 0.51 and 0.46,respectively.The prediction accuracies of the remaining yield-related traits estimated with GBLUP ranged from 0.49 to 0.86 and from 0.53 to 0.89 in SUS and SPS,respectively.When additive,dominance,epistasis effects,genotype-by-environment interaction,and multi-trait effects were incorporated into the prediction model,the prediction accuracy of hybrid yield performance was improved.The ratio of training to testing population and size of training population optimal for yield prediction were determined.Multiple prediction models can improve prediction accuracy in hybrid breeding.Ping Luo Houwen Wang Zhiyong Ni Ruisi Yang Fei Wang Hongjun Yong Lin Zhang Zhiqiang Zhou Wei Song Mingshun Li Jie Yang Jianfeng Weng Zhaodong Meng Degui Zhang Jienan Han Yong Chen Runze Zhang Liwei Wang Meng Zhao Wenwei Gao Xiaoyu Chen Wenjie Li Zhuanfang Hao Junjie Fu Xuecai Zhang Xinhai Li 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,6:0
