| 2 | THESEUS1 positively modulates plant defense responses against Botrytis cinerea through GUANINE EXCHANGE FACTOR4 signaling显示文摘The plant cell wall is an important interface for sensing pathogen attack and activating signaling pathways that promote plant immune responses.THESEUS1(THE1) acts as a sensor of cell wall integrity that controls cell elongation during plant growth. However, no specific role for THE1 in plant defense responses has been reported. Here, we found that THE1 interacts with GUANINE EXCHANGE FACTOR4(GEF4)and that both proteins play regulatory roles in plant resistance to the necrotrophic fungus Botrytis cinerea.Genetic analysis showed that THE1 and GEF4 function in the same genetic pathway to mediate plant defense responses. In addition, using transcriptome analysis, we identified various genes(such as defense-related,secondary metabolite-related, and transcription factor genes) that are likely downstream targets in the THE1-GEF4 signaling pathway. Our results suggest that THE1 functions as an upstream regulator of GEF4 signaling to positively regulate defense responses against B. cinerea in Arabidopsis. | shaofeng qu xi zhang yutong song jinxing lin xiaoyi shan | 2017 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2017,59,11: | 2 |
| 3 | A review on additive manufacturing of ceramic matrix composites显示文摘Additive manufacturing(AM)of ceramic matrix composites(CMCs)has enabled the production of highly customized, geometrically complex and functionalized parts with significantly improved properties and functionality, compared to single-phase ceramic components. It also opens up a new way to shape damage-tolerant ceramic composites with co-continuous phase reinforcement inspired by natural ma-terials.Nowadays,a large variety of AM techniques has been successfully applied to fabricate CMCs,but variable properties have been obtained so far. This article provides a comprehensive review on the AM of ceramic matrix composites through a systematic evaluation of the capabilities and limitations of each AM technique, with an emphasis on reported results regarding the properties and potentials of AM man-ufactured ceramic matrix composites. | Jinxing Sun Daorong Ye Ji Zou Xiaoteng Chen Yue Wang Jinsi Yuan Haowen Liang Hongqiao Qu Jon Binner Jiaming Bai | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,7: | 1 |
| 4 | Nitrogen source and fate of typical orchard with gentle slope in semi-arid areas显示文摘Excessive nitrogen (N) exports caused by human activities are one of the main reasons for the numerous environmental problems in agricultural production. Orchards, as an essential part of agricultural production, play a crucial role in rural economic development and ecological environment construction. Understanding the migration pathways of N in orchards is significant for the scientific management of orchards and the reduction of environmental pollution. In this research, the source and fate of N in a typical orchard in Beijing were quantitatively analyzed. N management strategies were proposed in combination with agricultural production habits. The total N input into the orchard was 487.19 kg/hm^(2)·a, of which 85.44%, 10.99%, 3.30% and 0.27% of N input were from fertilizer application, atmospheric deposition, biological N fixation and pesticide, respectively. A large amount of N fertilizer application was the primary source of N input in the orchard. For the N fate, the N surplus in the soil could reach up to 68.40% of total N inputs, and only 20.16% were absorbed and utilized by plants. The amount of N losses through ammonia volatilization, runoff and sediment, nitrification and denitrification accounted for 10.68%, 0.39% and 0.37%, respectively. N input in the orchard mainly remained in soil, while N loss was mainly through ammonia volatilization. There were 176.72, 99.00, and 57.52 kg/hm^(2)·a N surplus in 0-40 cm, 40-80 cm, and over 80 cm soil layers, respectively. To deal with the N accumulation on the soil surface and the migration of N from the soil surface to the deep layer of orchards, reducing N fertilizer application, substituting circular furrow for the whole orchard fertilization, adjusting irrigation schedule by reducing the amount of single irrigation, increasing the frequency of irrigation to three times in the normal year, and adopting efficient water-saving irrigation technology are realizable methods. | Miaoying An Ying Xie Yuguo Han Jinxing Zhou Hulin Guo Zhixu Qu | 2023 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,6: | 0 |
| 5 | Synergistic combination of Pd nanosheets and porous Bi(OH)_(3) boosts activity and durability for ethanol oxidation reaction显示文摘Highly active and durable Pd-based electrocatalysts for ethanol oxidation reaction(EOR)play a crucial role in the commercialization of direct ethanol fuel cells(DEFCs).However, the poisonous intermediates(especially adsorbed CO species(COad))formed during the EOR process can easily adsorb and block the active sites on Pd electrodes, which in turn limits the catalytic efficiency.Hence,we present a series of Pd-based composites with a strong coupling interface consisting of Pd nanosheets and amorphous Bi(OH)_(3)species.The incorporation of Bi(OH)3 can induce an electron-rich state adjacent to the Pd sites and effectively separate the Pd ensemble, leading to excellent CO tolerance. The optimal Pd-Bi(OH)_(3)NSs catalyst manifests a mass activity of 2.2 A·mgPd^(-1),which is 5.7 and 2.0 times higher than that of Pd NSs and commercial Pd/C catalyst, respectively.Further CO-stripping experiments and CO-DRIFTS tests confirm the excellent CO tolerance on Pd-Bi(OH)3 NSs electrode, leading to the enhanced EOR durability. | Mingyu Chu Jialu Huang Jin Gong Yi Qu Guoling Chen Hu Yang Xuchun Wang Qixuan Zhong Chengwei Deng Muhan Cao Jinxing Chen Xiaolei Yuan Qiao Zhang | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,5: | 0 |
