| 1 | Real-Time H.265/HEVC Intra Encoding with a Configurable Architecture on FPGA Platform显示文摘This paper proposes a flexible design scheme for H.265/HEVC encoding based on FPGA, which allows an easy incorporation of a variety of algorithms applied to different scenarios. In particular, we present an H.265/HEVC intra encoder as an instantiation of our proposed scheme. The key idea is to develop an encoder system by configuring basic Processing elements(PEs) of fundamental algorithms. Our intra encoder using the flexible framework is structured with fourstage CTU based pipeline. Pixel-level PEs are designed to unify the intra prediction of 35 modes and a multiscale compatible transform array is proposed to process variable size transform. 32 PEs are paralleled for intra mode decision to support 35 combinations of modes and partitions. In the reconstruction stage, 16 PEs are paralleled for intra prediction and a 16 × 16 multiplier array is configured for transforms of variable sizes with a constant 16 pixels/cycle throughput. Implementation results show that our proposed architecture costs about63 K Lookup tables and 62 KB on-chip memories on Xilinx Kintex-7 platform with the maximum working frequency at 175 MHz, which is sufficient for real-time encoding of 1920 × 1080 @60 fps video at 160 MHz. | 4 | Metallo-aerogels derived from chitosan with encapsulated metal nanoparticles as robust,efficient and selective nanocatalysts towards reduction of nitroarenes显示文摘A series of robust metallo-aerogels are readily fabricated by pyrolysis of xerogels derived from chitosan-metal(M=Fe,Co,Ni)hydrogels.Owing to the strong coordination between metal ions and the functional groups(NH2 and OH)of chitosan,metallo-aerogels consisting of encapsulated metal-nanoparticles(MNPs)by graphite shells were obtained,as supported by various characterizations including high-resolution transmission electron microscope(HR-TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),and Raman.The resulting metalloaerogels could be functioned as highly stable,efficient and selective nanocatalysts towards the hydrogenation of nitroarenes to amines at low catalyst loading(1.2 mol.%-2.4 mol.%).Remarkably,the metallo-aerogels could be reused for more than 30 runs without obvious loss of activity and selectivity.These distinguished performances were attributed to the graphitic shells formed during the pyrolysis,which hampered the possible aggregation of MNPs,prevented metal leaching and increased their stability. | Yajing Shen Qingshu Zheng Jianhong Liu Tao Tu | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,1: | 1 |

| 8 | A recombineering system for Bacillus subtilis based on the native phage recombinase pair YqaJ/YqaK显示文摘Bacillus subtilis plays an important role in fundamental and applied research,and it has been widely used as a cell factory for the production of enzymes,antimicrobial materials,and chemicals for agriculture,medicine,and industry.However,genetic manipulation tools for B.subtilis have low efficiency.In this work,our goal was to develop a simple recombineering system for B.subtilis.We showed that genome editing can be achieved in B.subtiliis 1A751 through co-expression of YqaJ/YqaK,a native phage recombinase pair found in B.sub-tilis 168,and the competence master regulator ComK using a double-stranded DNA substrate with short ho-mology arms(100 bp)and a phosphorothioate modification at the 5′-end.Efficient gene knockouts and large DNA insertions were achieved using this new recombineering system in B.subtilis 1A751.As far as we know,this is the first recombineering system using the native phage recombinase pair YqaJ/YqaK in B.subtilis.In conclusion,this new recombineering system provides a simple and fast tool for genetic manipulation of B.sub-tilis,and it will promote studies of genome function,construction of production strains,and genome mining in B.subtilis. | Qingshu Liu Ruijuan Li Hongbo Shi Runyu Yang Qiyao Shen Qingwen Cui Xiuling Wang Aiying Li Youming Zhang Jun Fu | 2023 | Engineering Microbiology2023,3,3: | 0 |
