1Charge Engineering of Mo2C@Defect-Rich N-Doped Carbon Nanosheets for Efficient Electrocatalytic H2 Evolution显示文摘Charge engineering of carbon materials with many defects shows great potential in electrocatalysis,and molybdenum carbide(Mo2C)is one of the noble-metal-free electrocatalysts with the most potential.Herein,we study the Mo2C on pyridinic nitrogen-doped defective carbon sheets(MoNCs)as catalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction.Theoretical calculations imply that the introduction of Mo2C produces a graphene wave structure,which in some senses behaves like N doping to form localized charges.Being an active electrocatalyst,MoNCs demonstrate a Tafel slope as low as 60.6 mV dec-1 and high durability of up to 10 h in acidic media.Besides charge engineering,plentiful defects and hierarchical morphology also contribute to good performance.This work underlines the importance of charge engineering to boost catalytic performance.Chunsheng Lei Wen Zhou Qingguo Feng Yongpeng Lei Yi Zhang Yin Chen Jiaqian Qin 2019Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,3:4

5The Variation of Microbial(Methanotroph)Communities in Marine Sediments Due to Aerobic Oxidation of Hydrocarbons显示文摘Methanotrophs in marine sediments and overlying water attenuate the emissions of methane into the atmosphere and thus play an important role for the global cycle of this greenhouse gas.However,gas released from natural hydrocarbon seeps are not pure methane but commonly mixed hydrocarbons.Currently,how methanotrophic bacteria behave in the co-presence of methane and heavier hydrocarbons remains unknown.In this paper,the bacteria were cultured aerobically in fresh sediment samples(collected from Bohai Bay in eastern China)at 28℃under the atmospheres of pure methane and methane+ethane+propane mixed gas,respec-tively.The prevailing terrigenous n-alkanes and fatty acids in the original sediment samples varied consistently after incubations,confirming the proceeding of aerobic bacterial activities.The real-time quantitative PCR assay and sequencing of the 16S rRNA and particulate methane monooxygenase(pmoA)genes revealed the changes of microbe communities to a methanotroph-dominating structure after incubations.Particularly,after incubations the family Methylococcaceae(typeⅠmethanotrophs)became dominant with proportions higher than 40%,whereas Methylocystaceae(typeⅡmethanotrophs)nearly disappeared in all incubated samples.More-over,the species of methanotrophs from the samples treated with pure methane were dominated by Methylobacter luteus,whereas Methylobacter whittenburyi took the predominant proportion in the samples treated with mixed gas.The phenomenon suggests that some methanotrophs may also utilize ethane and propane.Collectively,this study may help to gain a better understanding of the ef-fects and contributions of microbial activities in marine hydrocarbon seep ecosystems.LI Jing LIU Changling WU Nengyou HE Xingliang HAO Xiluo LI Feng CHEN Ye MENG Qingguo 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,3:1

12Synthesis and property characterization of ternary laminar Zr_(2)SB ceramic显示文摘In this paper,Zr_(2)SB ceramic with purity of 82.95 wt%(containing 8.96 wt%ZrB_(2)and 8.09 wt%zirconium)and high relative density(99.03%)was successfully synthesized from ZrH_(2),sublimated sulfur,and boron powders by spark plasma sintering(SPS)at 1300℃.The reaction process,microstructure,and physical and mechanical properties of Zr_(2)SB ceramic were systematically studied.The results show that the optimum molar ratio to synthesize Zr_(2)SB is n(ZrH_(2)):n(S):n(B)=1.4:1.6:0.7.The average grain size of Zr_(2)SB is 12.46μm in length and 5.12μm in width,and the mean grain sizes of ZrB2 and zirconium impurities are about 300 nm.In terms of physical properties,the measured thermal expansion coefficient(TEC)is 7.64×10^(-6) K^(-1) from room temperature to 1200℃,and the thermal capacity and thermal conductivity at room temperature are 0.39 J·g^(-1)·K^(-1)and 12.01 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1),respectively.The room temperature electrical conductivity of Zr_(2)SB ceramic is measured to be 1.74×10^(6)Ω^(-1)·m^(-1).In terms of mechanical properties,Vickers hardness is 9.86±0.63 GPa under 200 N load,and the measured flexural strength,fracture toughness,and compressive strength are 269±12.7 MPa,3.94±0.63 MPa·m1/2,and 2166.74±291.34 MPa,respectively.Qiqiang ZHANG Shuai FU Detian WAN Yiwang BAO Qingguo FENG Salvatore GRASSO Chunfeng HU 2022Journal of Advanced Ceramics2022,11,5:1
13The effects of prey lipid on female mating and reproduction of a wolf spider显示文摘As predators,the macronutrients spiders extract from their prey play important roles in their mating and reproduction.Previous studies of macronutrients on spider mating and reproduction focus on protein,the potential impact of prey lipid content on spider mating and reproduction remains largely unexplored.Here,we tested the influence of prey varying in lipid content on female mating,sexual cannibalism,reproduction,and offspring fitness in the wolf spider Pardosa pseudoannulata.We acquired 2 groups of fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster that differed significantly in lipid but not protein content by supplementing cultural media with a high or low dose of sucrose on which the fruit flies were reared(HL:high lipid and LL:low lipid).Subadult(i.e.,1 molt before adult)female spiders that fed HL flies matured with significantly higher lipid content than those fed LL flies.We found that the mated females fed with HL flies significantly shortened pre-oviposition time and resulted in a significantly higher fecundity.However,there was no significant difference in female spiders varying in lipid content on other behaviors and traits,including the latency to courtship,courtship duration,mating,copulation duration,sexual cannibalism,offspring body size,and survival.Hence,our results suggest that the lipid content of prey may be a limiting factor for female reproduction,but not for other behavioral traits in the wolf spiders P.pseudoannulata.Qingguo FENG Lelei WEN Jiayi MA Long YU Changchun LI Xiaoguo JIAO 2022Current Zoology2022,68,6:0
14Synthesis and characterization of high entropy(TiVNbTaM)_(2)AlC(M=Zr,Hf)ceramics显示文摘The high-entropy design of MAX phases is expected to confer superior properties,but its study was hindered by the complex synthesis method and limited purity of samples.In this work,two noteworthy types of high-entropy MAX phase structural ceramics,high-entropy(TiVNbTaM)_(2)AlC(M=Zr,Hf),were designed and prepared by the in-situ synthesis using spark plasma sintering(SPS).The microstructure and lattice parameters of sintered samples were determined.Compared with the single-component MAX phases,the highly pure high-entropy(TiVNbTaZr)_(2)AlC sample had good physical and mechanical properties,including electrical conductivity of 0.96×106Ω^(-1)·m^(-1),thermal expansion coefficient of 3.65×10^(-6) K^(-1),thermal conductivity of 8.98 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1),Vickers hardness of 9.80 GPa,flexural strength of 507 MPa,fracture toughness of 5.62 MPa·m^(1/2),and compressive strength of 1364 MPa,which exhibited the remarkable hardening-strengthening effect.Lei Cao Qiqiang Zhang Lijing Du Shuai Fu Detian Wan Yiwang Bao Qingguo Feng Chunfeng Hu 2024Journal of Advanced Ceramics2024,13,2:0
15Effect of potential difference between nano-Al_(2)O_(3)whisker and Mg matrix on the dispersion of Mg composites显示文摘The potential difference between positive and negative ions was utilized to improve the homogenized dispersion of nanoscale Al_(2)O_(3) whiskers in Mg matrix composites.The Mg powders were decorated with sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate(C_(18)H_(29)NaO_(3)S,SDBS)and were introduced to the cathode group on their surface.The Al_(2)O_(3) whiskers were modified by the cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(C_(19)H_(42)BrN,CTAB)and were featured in the anode group.The suitable contents of CTAB and SDBS,the application atmosphere,and the type of solvents were investigated.Dispersion results showed that adding 2wt%SDBS into Mg powders and adding 2wt%CTAB into Al_(2)O_(3) whiskers pro-moted the formation of more uniformly mixed composite powders,compared to those of conventional ball milling via scanning electron micro-scopy(SEM)analysis.Meanwhile,the calculated results derived from first-principle calculations also demonstrated the stronger cohesion between Al_(2)O_(3) whisker reinforcements and Mg matrix than undecorated composite powders.After preparation by powder metallurgy,the mor-phology,grain size,hardness,and standard deviation coefficient of composites were analyzed to evaluate the dispersed efficiency.The results indicated that the modification of homogenized dispersed Al_(2)O_(3) whiskers in composites contributed to the refinement of 26%in grain size and the improvement of 20%in hardness compared with pure Mg,and the reduction of 32.5%in the standard deviation coefficient of hardness compared with the ball-milling sample.Xiaoying Qian Hong Yang Chunfeng Hu Ying Zeng Yuanding Huang Xin Shang Yangjie Wan Bin Jiang Qingguo Feng 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,1:0
16Network pharmacology assessment of Qingkailing injection(清开灵注射液)treatment of cholestatic hepatitis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the targets and mechanisms of action of Qingkailing injection(清开灵注射液,QKL)in the treatment of cholestatic hepatitis.METHODS:A network pharmacology method was implemented using drug and disease databases to target QKL and cholestasis hepatitis,respectively.The functional protein association network STRING database was used to construct a protein-protein interaction network using R language and the Bioconductor toolkit.The org.Hs.eg.db and cluster Profiler packages were used for gene ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway enrichment analysis,which explored biological functions and pathways of potential targets.Targets were then visualized using Cytoscape 3.6.0 software.RESULTS:We screened 121 compounds in QKL and identified 112 targets for the treatment of cholestatic hepatitis.QKL played a role in the treatment of cholestatic hepatitis through 305 biology process terms,15 cellular component and 29 molecular function terms.The mechanism of QKL action was mainly related to tumor necrosis factor,mitogen-activated protein kinase,and PI3 K-Akt signaling pathways.CONCLUSION:The treatment of cholestatic hepatitis by QKL involved multiple targets,biological functions,and signaling pathways that are closely associated with the disease.LIAN Yajun WANG Qingguo MU Jie LIU Haixia XU Tian FAN Shuning TANG Feifei FENG Tianyi XU Wenxiu JIN Na CHENG Fafeng WANG Xueqian 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,1:0
17Machine learning and microstructure design of polymer nanocomposites for energy storage application显示文摘Film dielectric capacitors have been widely used in high‐power electronic equipment.The design of microstructure and the choice of fillers play an important role in nano-composites'energy storage density.Machine learning methods can classify and summarise the limited data and then explore the promising composite structure.In this work,a dataset has been established,which contained a large amount of data on the maximum energy storage density of nanocomposites.Though using processed visual image infor-mation to express the internal information of composite,the prediction accuracy of the prediction models built by three machine learning algorithms increase from 84.1%to 91.9%,80.9%to 68.9%,70.6%to 81.6%,respectively.By calculating the branch weight in the random forest prediction model,the influence degree of different descriptors on the energy storage performance of nanocomposites is analysed.A total of 10 groups of composites with different structure and filler amount were prepared in the laboratory,which were used to verify the reliability of prediction models.Finally,the effective filler's structure is explored by three prediction models and some suggestions for the interface design of filler are given.Yu Feng Wenxin Tang Yue Zhang Tiandong Zhang Yanan Shang Qingguo Chi Qingguo Chen Qingquan Lei 2022High Voltage2022,7,2:0
18Analysis on phase information of polarized radar in monitoring vegetation显示文摘T-matrix method was employed to analyze the relation between the co-polarization phase difference of back scattering of vegetation and its geometrical and physical parameters, and the effect from the frequency and the incident angle of radar based on this kind of relation. The results showed that the phase difference is affected by the geometrical parameters (such as the shape, the growth state of wattle and leafage etc.) and the physical parameters (such as the real part and the imaginary part of the dielectric constant etc.) in different ways. In addition, the frequency and the incident angle of radar have heavy effect on the results. 19High-temperature energy storage dielectric with inhibition of carrier injection/migration based on band structure regulation显示文摘Dielectric capacitors have a high power density,and are widely used in military and civilian life.The main problem lies in the serious deterioration of dielectric insulation performance at high temperatures.In this study,a polycarbonate(PC)-based energy storage dielectric was designed with BN/SiO_(2)heterojunctions on its surface.Based on this structural design,a synergistic suppression of the carrier injection and transport was achieved,significantly improving the insulating properties of the polymer film.In particular,the composite film achieves optimal high-temperature energy-storage properties.The composite film can withstand an electric field intensity of 760 MV m^(-1)at 100℃and obtain an energy storage density of 8.32 J cm^(-3),while achieving a breakthrough energy storage performance even at 150℃(610 MV m^(-1),5.22 J cm^(-3)).Through adjustment of the heterojunction structure,free adjustment of the insulation performance of the material can be realized;this is of great significance for the optimization of the material properties.Guang Liu Qingquan Lei Yu Feng Changhai Zhang Tiandong Zhang Qingguo Chen Qingguo Chi 2023InfoMat2023,5,2:0
20Hot forging Nb_(4)AlC_(3)ceramics with enhanced properties显示文摘Textured Nb_(4)AlC_(3)ceramics were rapidly and efficiently prepared by hot forging through spark plasma sintering(SPS).The longitudinal compression ratio of textured Nb_(4)AlC_(3)ceramics was−78.3%,and the lateral expansion ratio was 32.1%.The grains grew preferentially along the direction perpendicular to the c-axis,forming the texture microstructure.The Lotgering orientation factor f(00l)was calculated to be 0.63.The thermal conductivity of textured Nb_(4)AlC_(3)ceramics along the c-axis direction(11.23 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1))(25℃)was lower than that of untextured ceramics(13.75 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1))(25℃).The electrical conductivity perpendicular to the c-axis direction reached 4.37×10^(6) S·m^(−1)at room temperature.The ordered layered grains increased the resistance of crack propagation,resulting in a higher fracture toughness parallel to the c-axis direction(9.41 MPa·m^(1/2)),which was higher than that of untextured ceramics(6.88 MPa·m1/2).The Vickers hardness tested at 10 N on the texture top surface(7.18 GPa)was higher than that on the texture side surface(6.45 GPa).Ye Yu Shuai Fu Detian Wan Yiwang Bao Longsheng Chu Qingguo Feng Chunfeng Hu 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,11:0
