1Breaches of the Baige Barrier Lake: Emergency response and dam breach flood显示文摘This paper documents the emergency response to the breaches of the Baige Barrier Lake. The lake was successively formed by landslides that occurred on October 10 and November 3, 2018 at the provincial border between Sichuan and Tibet in China. The barrier lake created by the '10.10' landslide breached on October 12 and triggered a flood with a peak discharge around 10000 m^3/s. The residual landslide barrier was enhanced by a second landslide on November 3, resulting in a higher barrier with larger flood potential. An overflow channel was excavated in the crest of the barrier to prompt the breach to be triggered at a lower water level. The second breach happened on November 12 with a measured peak discharge of 31000 m^3/s. Nearly 75000 people were evacuated before the two breaches. In order to prevent the downstream dams from possible over-topping, nearly 3.27×10~8 m^3 of the stored volume was released from the Liyuan reservoir 688 km downstream of Baige Barrier Lake. This paper presents the measured hydrographs and the back-analysis results for the '11.03' barrier lake. It is shown that the modern models of dam breach hydraulics can reasonably reproduce the barrier breach hydrographs;however, further studies are needed to define the key parameters which highly influence the calculated results. 2Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Overcast 6101–6101 Wrought Al Alloy Joint by Squeeze Casting显示文摘The wrought Al alloy–wrought Al alloy overcast joint was fabricated by casting liquid 6101 Al alloy onto6101 Al extrusion bars and solidifying under applied pressure.The joint interfacial microstructure was investigated;the effect of applied pressure on the microstructure and mechanical properties was evaluated.The mechanism of joint formation and mechanical behaviors of both squeeze cast 6101 and 6101–6101 overcast joint material were analyzed.The results show that with the application of pressure during solidification process,wrought Al alloy 6101 could be cast directly into shape successfully.Excellent metallurgical bonding was then formed in the overcast joint by electro-plating 6101 solid insert with a layer of zinc coating,and a transition zone formed in the joint region.During the tensile test,the fracture occurs in the 6101 solid insert part with the ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of 200 MPa,indicating that the strength of the overcast joint is higher than 200 MPa,and the tensile strength of overcast joint material is independent on the magnitude of applied pressure.For Al–Al overcast joint material,if a clean and high strength joint is formed,the UTS and yield strength(YS)are determined by the material with the lower value,while for EL,the value is determined by the length proportion and the stress–strain behavior of both components.Teng Liu Qudong Wang YudongSui Qigui Wang 2016Journal of Materials Science & Technology2016,32,4:9

5Petrogenesis and Metallogenesis of the Niumaoquan Gabbroic Intrusion Associated with Fe-Ti Oxide Ores in the Eastern Tianshan, NW China显示文摘The Niumaoquan layered gabbroic intrusion is in the southern margin of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt in North Xinjiang, China, and hosts a Fe-Ti oxide deposit in its evolved gabbroic phases. In this paper, we report zircon U-Pb age, Sr-Nd-Hf isotopes, plagioclase chemistry, and whole-rock geochemistry of the Niumaoquan layered gabbroic intrusion. Zircon grains separated from an anorthosite sample analyzed by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry yielded a concordia age of 314.7±0.74 Ma, indicating that the Niumaoquan ore-bearing gabbroic intrusion was emplaced during the Late Carboniferous. The olivine gabbro texture and plagioclase chemistry suggest that plagioclase was an early crystallized silicate phase that crystallized prior to olivine. Fractional crystallization and accumulation of plagioclase significantly controlled the evolution of the Niumaoquan gabbroic intrusion and contributed to the formation of anorthosite layers, causing metallogenic elements to become enriched in the residual melt. The Niumaoquan gabbroic intrusion is characterized by the enrichment of large ion lithophile elements and depletion of high field strength elements, positive zircon εHf(t) values(+2.1 to +12.2), positive εNd(t) values(+3.3 to +5.2), and low initial ^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr ratios(0.7039 to 0.7047), suggesting that the parental magma was produced by interactions between metasomatized lithospheric mantle and depleted asthenospheric melts at an early post-collision stage. 6Single nucleotide polymorphism analysis of the encoding region of EX-FABP gene and its association with fattiness trait in chicken显示文摘Fattiness is an important parameter to estimate meat quality, which has high heritability. In this experiment, F2 chickens derived from Broilers crossing to Silky were used to study the effect of extracellular fatty acid inding protein (EX-FABP) gene on abdominal fat accumulation. Five exons and partial introns of the gene were amplified by six pairs of primers, and then single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were detected by single strand conformation polymorphism (SSCP) and subsequently confirmed by sequencing. There were four nucleotides variations found, T-C at 659, C-T at 924, CA-TG at 968 and C-T at 1985 respectively. The result of least square analysis suggests that the chickens with HH genotype defined by the third pair of primers have a lower abdominal fat weight and abdominal fat percentage than the chickens with other genotypes (GG, GI, GH and II). 8In-situ observation of porosity formation during directional solidification of Al-Si casting alloys显示文摘In-situ observation of porosity formation during directional solidification of two Al-Si alloys (7%Si and 13%Si) was made by using of micro-focus X-ray imaging.In both alloys,small spherical pores initially form in the melt far away from the eutectic solid-liquid (S/L) interface and then grow and coagulate during solidification.Some pores can float and escape from the solidifying melt front at a relatively high velocity.At the end of solidification,the remaining pores maintain spherical morphology in the near eutectic alloy but become irregular in the hypoeutectic alloy.This is attributed to different solidification modes and aluminum dendrite interactions between the two alloys.The mechanism of the porosity formation is briefly discussed in this paper.Zhao Lei Liao Hengcheng Pan Ye Wang Qigui Sun Guoxiong 2011China Foundry2011,8,1:2

11Ore-forming Fluid and Mineral Source of the Hongshi Copper Deposit in the Kalatage Area, East Tianshan, Xinjiang, NW China显示文摘The Hongshi copper deposit is located in the middle of the Kalatage ore district in the northern segment of the Dananhu-Tousuquan island-arc belt in East Tianshan, Xinjiang, NW China. This study analyses the fluid inclusions and H, O, and S stable isotopic compositions of the deposit. The fluid-inclusion data indicate that aqueous fluid inclusions were trapped in chalcopyrite-bearing quartz veins in the gangue minerals. The homogenization temperatures range from 108°C to 299°C, and the salinities range from 0.5% to 11.8%, indicating medium to low temperatures and salinities. The trapping pressures range from 34.5 MPa to 56.8 MPa. The δ^(18)O_(H_2O) values and δD values of the fluid range from -6.94‰ to -5.33‰ and from -95.31‰ to -48.20‰, respectively. The H and O isotopic data indicate that the ore-forming fluid derived from a mix of magmatic water and meteoric water and that meteoric water played a significant role. The S isotopic composition of pyrite ranges from 1.9‰ to 5.2‰, with an average value of 3.1‰, and the S isotopic composition of chalcopyrite ranges from -0.9‰ to 4‰, with an average value of 1.36‰, implying that the S in the ore-forming materials was derived from the mantle. The introduction of meteoric water decreased the temperature, volatile content, and pressure, resulting in immiscibility. These factors may have been the major causes of the mineralization of the Hongshi copper deposit. 12Effect of heat treatment on strain–controlled fatigue behavior of cast Mg–Nd–Zn–Zr alloy显示文摘The influence of heat treatment on the strain-controlled fatigue behavior of cast NZ30 K alloy was investigated. Compared with the as-cast and solutionized(T4) alloys, the peak-aged(T6) and over-aged(T7)counterparts have a higher cyclic stress and a lower plastic strain value due to the precipitation strengthening. The as-cast and T4-treated alloys have a higher fatigue strength/yield strength ratio than the aged alloys, which is mainly attributed to their higher cyclic hardening. Under stress-controlled loading,the aged alloys show lower hysteresis energies than the as-cast and T4-treated counterparts, leading to longer fatigue lifetimes. For the T4-treated alloy, the cyclic hardening and fatigue failure are controlled by the dislocations-slip and twinning, while for both the as-cast and T6-treated counterparts, they are controlled by the dislocation-slip. 13Latest advances and developments in aluminum shape casting显示文摘With the increasing use of aluminum shape castings in structural applications in the automotive and aerospace industries,assurance of cast product integrity and performance has become critical in both design and manufacturing.In this paper,the latest understanding of the relationship between casting quality and mechanical properties of aluminum castings is summarized.Newly developed technologies for alloy design,melting and melt treatment,casting and heat treatment processes in aluminum casting are reviewed.The mechanical properties of aluminum castings strongly depend upon their microstructure constituents and particularly cast defect population and distribution.To produce quality castings with quantifiable properties,the key is to control multi-scale defects and microstructure in the casting.Robust design and development of high integrity aluminum castings through Integrated Computational Materials Engineering(ICME) approach is also discussed.The most effective way to optimize the processes and achieve the desirable mechanical properties is through the development and exploitation of robust and accurate multi-scale computational models.Qigui Wang 2013China Foundry2013,10,1:2
14Key rock mechanical problems of underground powerhouse in Shuibuya hydropower station显示文摘The complicated rock structures and the stability of surrounding rocks of the underground powerhouse were the key rock mechanical problems in Shuibuya hydropower station.In order to overcome the related rock mechanical problems encountered during its construction,a comprehensive research was carried out for the underground powerhouse in Shuibuya hydropower station based on a detailed geological survey.It covers the investigations on the initial in-situ stress distribution features,rock mechanical properties,engineering rock mass classifications by different methods,numerical modeling for stability and support analysis,proper measures for rock excavation and support.The results show that the rock excavations of the underground powerhouse under the given geological conditions can be controlled effectively.Some measures,suggested by the designers,are proved to be rational and effective.These measures mainly consist of:(1) the soft rock replacements by concrete in local area below the crane beam,(2) the shotcrete and reinforcement by rock bolts and anchor cables in surrounding rocks,and (3) 2 m concrete placement on the rock bench between adjacent tailrace tubes.The engineering practice shows that the treated surrounding rocks have a good overall stability.The deformation behaviors observed by safety equipments are within the designing limits.The research conclusions on the related rock mechanical problems,prior to the underground powerhouse excavations,are reliable.Aiqing Wu1,Qigui Yang2,Xiuli Ding1,Huoming Zhou1,Bo Lu1 1 Key Laboratory of Geotechnical Mechanics and Engineering of Ministry of Water Resources,Yangtze River Scientific Research Institute,Wuhan 430010,China 2 Changjiang Institute of Survey,Planning,Design and Research,Wuhan,430010,China 2011Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2011,3,1:2

19STABILITY ANALYSIS OF THE SPLIT-STEP THETA METHOD FOR NONLINEAR REGIME-SWITCHING JUMP SYSTEMS显示文摘In this paper,we investigate the stability of the split-step theta(SST)method for a class of nonlinear regime-switching jump systems–neutral stochastic delay differential equations(NSDDEs)with Markov switching and jumps.As we know,there are few results on the stability of numerical solutions for NSDDEs with Markov switching and jumps.The purpose of this paper is to enrich conclusions in such respect.It first devotes to show that the trivial solution of the NSDDE with Markov switching and jumps is exponentially mean square stable and asymptotically mean square stable under some suitable conditions.If the drift coefficient also satisfies the linear growth condition,it then proves that the SST method applied to the NSDDE with Markov switching and jumps shares the same conclusions with the exact solution.Moreover,a numerical example is demonstrated to illustrate the obtained results.Guangjie Li Qigui Yang 2021Journal of Computational Mathematics2021,39,2:1
20Polymorphism analysis of microsatellites and construction of linkage map in part regions of four chromosomes in chicken显示文摘Based on chicken' consensus map issued in 2000,17 microsatellites near 4 candidate genes such as IGF2,OBR,GDF8 and APOA1 in 4 chromosomes(chromosome 5,7,8 and 24)were chosen for polymorphism analysis and construction of linkage map.Combining the technique of PCR and the fluorescent semi-automated detection,genome scanning was performed for 440 chickens,which was derived from China Agricultural University chicken resource families within three generations.The individuals of this resource families were genotyped.The results showed that the number of alleles ranged from 4 to 14;heterozygosity(H) of markers was between 0.3116 and 0.9148.Polymorphic information content(PIC)varied from 0.2672 to 0.8679.Microsatellites along with above-mentioned 4 candidate genes doing as general markers were used to construct linkage map.The spans of 4 linkage maps constructed in the part region of chromosome 5,7,8 and 24 were 263.5,79.9,206.2 and 104.2 cM,respectively.The order of markers was consistent with that of counterpart of reported consensus map.However,The spans of linkage map were larger than that of consensus map.The constructed linkage maps laid the foundation for mapping quantitative trait loci(QTL)responsible for economically important traits in chicken.WANG Shouzhi LI Hui LI Ning GAO Yu DU Zhiqiang GU Zhiliang WANG Qigui LI Zhihui WANG Ying 2007Journal of Northeast Agricultural University(English Edition)2007,14,2:1
