| 1 | 黄连水提物对卵形鲳鲹源溶藻弧菌的抑菌作用显示文摘卵形鲳鲹(Trachinotus ovatus)是一种生长快速且肉质鲜美的经济型海水养殖鱼类,但是近些年为满足人们的日常需求,在不断扩大养殖的同时病菌也逐渐泛滥。溶藻弧菌(Vibrio alginolyticus)是华南沿海地区海水养殖鱼类细菌性鱼病的主要致病菌之一,给水产养殖业带来巨大损失。本研究对黄连(Coptis chinensis Franch)的抗菌作用进行系统研究,目的是为由溶藻弧菌引起的爆发性细菌性鱼病的高效防治提供科学的用药依据。本研究采用二倍稀释法测定黄连水提物对卵形鲳鲹源溶藻弧菌的最低抑菌浓度(MIC)、最低杀菌浓度(MBC)和半数致死量(LD50),并使用BCA蛋白浓度测定试剂盒测定细菌超声破碎上清液中可溶性蛋白含量。结果表明,黄连水提物对溶藻弧菌具有明显的抑制作用,其对溶藻弧菌的MIC、MBC和LD50的值分别为7.800mg/mL、31.250mg/mL和15.625mg/mL。胞内可溶性蛋白含量变化的结果提示:黄连发挥抑菌作用的机制可能是通过损伤细菌的细胞壁导致细菌内容物的释放并引起菌体裂解死亡。黄连具有发展成为一种高效抗水产病害中草药制剂的潜力。 | 刘明珠 肖贺贺 余庆 覃仙玲 黎思巧 陆兰天 吴思婷 王一兵 Dedi Fazriansyah Putra 王太霞 李鹏飞 | 2019 | 广西科学院学报2019,35,2: | 10 |
| 2 | Carvedilol vs endoscopic variceal ligation for primary and secondary prevention of variceal bleeding: Systematic review and metaanalysis显示文摘BACKGROUND Variceal hemorrhage is associated with high mortality and is the cause of death for 20–30%of patients with cirrhosis.Nonselectiveβblockers(NSBBs)or endoscopic variceal ligation(EVL)are recommended for primary prevention of variceal bleeding in patients with medium to large esophageal varices.Meanwhile,combination of EVL and NSBBs is the recommended approach for the secondary prevention.Carvedilol has greater efficacy than other NSBBs as it decreases intrahepatic resistance.We hypothesized that there was no difference between carvedilol and EVL intervention for primary and secondary prevention of variceal bleeding in cirrhosis patients.AIM To evaluate the efficacy of carvedilol compared to EVL for primary and secondary prevention of variceal bleeding in cirrhotic patients METHODS We searched relevant literatures in major journal databases(CENTRAL,MEDLINE,and EMBASE)from March to August 2018.Patients with cirrhosis and portal hypertension,regardless of aetiology and severity,with or without a history of variceal bleeding,and aged≥18 years old were included in this review.Only randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that compared the efficacy of carvedilol and that of EVL for primary and secondary prevention of variceal bleeding and mortality in patients with cirrhosis and portal hypertension were considered,irrespective of publication status,year of publication,and language.RESULTS Seven RCTs were included.In four trials assessing the primary prevention,no significant difference was found on the events of variceal bleeding(RR:0.74,95%CI:0.37-1.49),all-cause mortality(RR:1.10,95%CI:0.76-1.58),and bleedingrelated mortality(RR:1.02,95%CI:0.34-3.10)in patients who were treated with carvedilol compared to EVL.In three trials assessing secondary prevention,there was no difference between two interventions for the incidence of rebleeding(RR:1.10,95%CI:0.75-1.61).The fixed-effect model showed that,compared to EVL,carvedilol decreased all-cause mortality by 49%(RR:0.51,95%CI:0.33-0.79),with little or no evidence of heterogeneity.CONCLUSION Carvedilol had similar efficacy to EVL in preventing the first variceal bleeding in cirrhosis patients with esophageal varices.It was superior to EVL alone for secondary prevention of variceal bleeding in regard to all-cause mortality reduction. | Michael Dwinata David Dwi Putera Muhamad Fajri Adda’i Putra Nur Hidayat Irsan Hasan | 2019 | World Journal of Hepatology2019,11,5: | 6 |

| 4 | Upper gastrointestinal tract involvement of pediatric inflammatory bowel disease: A pathological review显示文摘Upper gastrointestinal(UGI) tract involvement of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) is commonly seen in pediatric patients. Upper endoscopy is included in the routine workup of children with suspected IBD to enhance the diagnosis and management of these patients. Currently, childhood IBD is classified into ulcerative colitis(UC), atypical UC, Crohn's disease(CD) and IBD unclassified.Histologic confirmation of UGI tract involvement, in particular the presence of epithelioid(non-caseating) granulomas, is helpful in confirming the diagnosis of IBD and its classification. Herein, we reviewed selected IBD-associated UGI tract manifestations in children. Lymphocytic esophagitis, seen predominantly in CD,is histologically characterized by increased intraepithelial lymphocytes(> 20 in one high-power field) in a background of mucosal injury with absence of granulocytes. Focally enhanced gastritis is a form of gastric inflammation in pediatric IBD marked by a focal lymphohistiocytic pit inflammation with or without granulocytes and plasma cells in a relatively normal background gastric mucosa. Duodenal inflammation seen in children with IBD includes cryptitis,villous flattening, increased intraepithelial lymphocytes, and lamina propria eosinophilia. Finally, epithelioid granulomas not associated with ruptured gland/crypt are a diagnostic feature of CD. The clinicopathologic correlation and differential diagnosis of each microscopic finding are discussed. | 7 | History and perspectives of induction technology for agarwood production from cultivated Aquilaria in Asia: a review显示文摘Agarwood, the resinous product of Aquilaria spp.(Thymelaeaceae), is highly valued for medicinal and fragrant purposes. Unsustainable forest harvesting contributes to the declining population in the wild, threatening their existence. As a protection effort, cultivation occurred in range countries, mainly in Asia, effectively establishing mass plantations. The success of domesticating Aquilaria relies heavily on technological advancement in agarwood induction, without which the entire thriving industry will collapse. In this paper, we describe efforts since 1929 and current progress and variation in induction as practiced in Asia. The methods include traditional practices and artificial induction via inoculum and chemical inducer, experimented and patented or otherwise. Artificial induction methods are being developed to intensify agarwood production in terms of yield and quality. While traditional methods are commonly applied by rural planters, artificial methods with the use of specific agents/chemicals are seen as more appealing for inducing agarwood, and have a higher demand from entrepreneurs and plantation owners.Several issues related to induction technology faced by stakeholders in agarwood cultivation are presented, such as safety levels, cost, yields, and quality. | 8 | Serum testosterone and prostate-specific antigen levels are major risk factors for prostatic volume increase among benign prostatic hyperplasia patients显示文摘Objective:Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)is one of the most common diseases found among elderly men.Even though multiple risk factors of BPH have been identified in the past,the risk factors which have a direct impact on prostate volume have not been identified.In this study,we aim to determine the most significant contributing risk factors to prostate volume enlargement by analyzing possible associated risk factors previously studied.Methods:This is a quantitative study with an analytical observational design,performed using a retrospective cohort approach.Total sampling was performed on 83 patients who underwent transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP)in Sanglah General Hospital from January to February 2019.Bivariate analysis is performed to examine each variable's association with prostate volume followed by a multivariate analysis.All variables were reassessed with path analysis to measure the direct effects,indirect effects,and total effects on prostate volume.Results:Bivariate analysis shows that serum testosterone(R=0.208;p=0.059)and prostate-specific antigen(PSA)level(R=0.626;p=0.001)have a significant association with prostate volume.Multivariate analysis shows that serum PSA(B=1.4;p=0.001;95%confidence interval[95%CI]=1.039-1.770)and testosterone(B=0.024;p=0.005;95%CI=0.008-0.041)levels are significant among all the analyzed risk factors.There is a significant and strong effect of PSA to prostate volume(c=0.636;p=0.001)whereas testosterone has a significant albeit weak effect to prostate volume(c=0.246;p=0.009)based on the total effect of the path analysis.Conclusion:Serum testosterone and PSA levels are significantly associated with prostatic volume increase among BPH patients. | Gede Wirya Kusuma Duarsa Yudit Anastasia Sari Anak Agung Gde Oka Kadek Budi Santosa I Wayan Yudiana Pande Made Wisnu Tirtayasa Ida Bagus Putra Pramana Yudhistira Pradnyan Kloping | 2021 | Asian Journal of Urology2021,8,3: | 3 |

The proposed controller is a hybrid of proportional-integral-differential (PID) control, whose main function is for trajectory tracking, and a chatter-based ILC, whose main function is for hysteresis compensation. Stability analysis of the proposed ILC is presented, with the PID included in the dynamic of the piezoelectric actuator. | 13 | Thermal performance of cooling strategies for asphalt pavement: A state-of-the-art review显示文摘Asphalt pavements absorb and store more heat than natural surfaces. Thus, high temperatures are emitted from conventional asphalt pavements, subsequently releasing heat into the atmosphere and contributing to the urban heat island(UHI) phenomenon. Several cool pavement strategies, including the provision of additives and materials, surface coating and layer design, have been introduced to reduce the impact of UHI. This article provides a detailed review of the thermal properties of these mitigation measures in the context of cool asphalt pavements. The literature can be divided into three segments. The first segment discusses the impact of pavements on UHI and heat transfer mechanisms in pavements. The second segment focuses on various thermo physical properties that play an important role in mitigation measures;these properties include albedo(a), emissivity(e),solar reflective index, thermal conductivity(k), specific heat capacity(Cp) and thermal diffusivity. The third segment discusses cool asphalt pavement strategies which specifically cover the ability of the pavement to absorb and reflect solar energy on the basis of the materials and treatments used. The literature reveals that cooling strategies that deal with the pavement surface are important due to its direct incident solar effect, which depends on surface colour, material, shape and roughness. By using high-albedo and high-emissivity surfaces, the pavement can store less heat and lower the surface temperature.
