1Efficacy and safety of Xinfeng capsule in patients with rheumatoid arthritis:a multi-center parallel-group double-blind randomized controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Xinfeng capsule in patients suffering rheumatoid arthritis(RA).METHODS:A multi-center parallel-group designed,double-blind,randomized,controlled trial was conducted.Totally 304 RA patients were assigned to two groups:one group was administered Xinfeng capsule(XFC) plus the placebo of leflunomide and the other given leflunomide(LEF) plus the placebo of XFC for twelve weeks.The clinical and laboratory parameters were compared at baseline and fourth,eighth,and twelfth weeks.RESULTS:After twelve-week treatment,patients in two groups all showed some trend of effectiveness when compared in terms of American Rheumatism Association(ACR) recommended 20%,50%,70%improvement criteria,but it was insignificant.The validity in ameliorate modified disease activity score(DAS28) and laboratory indexes as erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),rheumatoid factor(RF) were also found no difference.The score of health assessment questionnaire(HAQ),self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS) and quality of life questionnaire with rheumatoid arthritis(RAQOL)both lower than the first week and the changes showed no difference.However,the score of SDS dropped more in XFC group than in the other.A total of 147 adverse reaction cases were reported,which shows no difference between the two groups.The most common adverse reactions were hepatic impairment,anemia,leukocytopenia,epigastric discomfort and phalacrosis.CONCLUSION:XFC demonstrated better improvement in the scores of SDS and compared with those of LEF group.Liu Jian Wang Yuan Huang Chuanbing Xu Jianhua Li Zhijun Xu Liang He Liyun Sun Yue Wang Yali Xu Shengqian Zhao Ping Mao Tongjun Tan Bin Zhu Fubing Zhang Pingheng Fang Li 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,5:27

3Application of Raman spectroscopy in carbon nanotube-based polymer composites显示文摘Raman spectroscopy has been widely used to identify the physical properties of carbon nanotubes(CNTs),and to assess their functionalization as well as orientation.Recently,Raman spectroscopy has become a powerful tool to characterize the interfacial properties between CNTs and polymer matrices.This review provides an overview of micro-Raman spectroscopy of CNTs and its application in studying CNT reinforced polymer composites.Based on the specific Raman band shifts relating to the mechanical deformation of CNTs,Raman scattering can be used to evaluate the interactions between the CNTs and the surrounding polymer in the composites,and to detect the phase transitions of the polymer,and investigate the local stress state as well as the Young's modulus of the CNTs.Moreover,we also review the current progress of Raman spectroscopy in various CNT macroarchitectures(such as films,fibers as well as composite fibers).The microscale structural deformation of CNT macroarchitectures and strain transfer factors from macroscale architectures to microscale structures are inferred.Based on an in situ Raman-tensile test,we further predict the Young's modulus of the CNT macroarchitectures and reveal the dominating factors affecting the mechanical performances of the CNT macroarchitectures.GAO Yun LI LingYun TAN PingHeng LIU LuQi ZHANG Zhong 2010Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,35:5
4Retrieval of leaf biochemical properties by inversed PROSPECT model and hyperspectral indices:an application to Populus euphratica polymorphic leaves显示文摘Leaf biochemical properties have been widely assessed using hyperspectral reflectance information by inversion of PROSPECT model or by using hyperspectral indices,but few studies have focused on arid ecosystems.As a dominant species of riparian ecosystems in arid lands,Populus euphratica Oliv.is an unusual tree species with polymorphic leaves along the vertical profile of canopy corresponding to different growth stages.In this study,we evaluated both the inversed PROSPECT model and hyperspectral indices for estimating biochemical properties of P.euphratica leaves.Both the shapes and biochemical properties of P.euphratica leaves were found to change with the heights from ground surface.The results indicated that the model inversion calibrated for each leaf shape performed much better than the model calibrated for all leaf shapes,and also better than hyperspectral indices.Similar results were obtained for estimations of equivalent water thickness (EWT) and leaf mass per area (LMA).Hyperspectral indices identified in this study for estimating these leaf properties had root mean square error (RMSE) and R 2 values between those obtained with the two calibration strategies using the inversed PROSPECT model.Hence,the inversed PROSPECT model can be applied to estimate leaf biochemical properties in arid ecosystems,but the calibration to the model requires special attention.ZhongGuo MA Xi CHEN Quan WANG PingHeng LI Guli Jiapaer 2012Journal of Arid Land2012,4,1:4
5Diurnal and seasonal variations in carbon fluxes in bamboo forests during the growing season in Zhejiang province, China显示文摘Bamboo forest is an important forest type in subtropical China and is characterized by fast growth and high carbon sequestration capacity. However, the dynamics of carbon fluxes during the fast growing period of bamboo shoots and their correlation with environment factors are poorly understood. We measured carbon dioxide exchange and climate variables using open-path eddy covariance methods during the 2011 growing season in a Moso bamboo forest(MB, Phyllostchys edulis) and a Lei bamboo forest(LB, Phyllostachys violascens) in Zhejiang province,China. The bamboo forests were carbon sinks during the growing season. The minimum diurnal net ecosystem exchange(NEE) at MB and LB sites were-0.64 and-0.66 mg C m^(-2) s^(-1), respectively. The minimum monthly NEE, ecosystem respiration(RE), and gross ecosystem exchange(GEE) were-99.3 ± 4.03, 76.2 ±2.46, and^(-1)91.5 ± 4.98 g C m^(-2) month^(-1), respectively,at MB site, compared with-31.8 ± 3.44, 70.4 ± 1.41,and^(-1)57.9 ± 4.86 g C m^(-2) month^(-1), respectively, at LB site. Maximum RE was 92.1 ± 1.32 g C m^(-2) month^(-1) at MB site and 151.0 ± 2.38 g C m^(-2) month^(-1) at LB site.Key control factors varied by month during the growing season, but across the whole growing season, NEE and GEE at both sites showed similar trends in sensitivities to photosynthetic active radiation and vapor pressure deficit,and air temperature had the strongest correlation with RE at both sites. Carbon fluxes at LB site were more sensitive to soil water content compared to those at MB site. 8Estimation of rock Fe content based on hyperspectral indices显示文摘Information on the Fe content of bare rocks is needed for implementing geochemical processes and identifying mines.However,the influence of Fe content on the spectra of bare rocks has not been thoroughly analyzed in previous studies.The Saur Mountain region within the Hoboksar of the Russell Hill depression was selected as the study area.Specifically,we analyzed six hyperspectral indices related to rock Fe content based on laboratory measurements(Dataset I)and field measurements(Dataset II).In situ field measurements were acquired to verify the laboratory measurements.Fe content of the rock samples collected from different fresh and weathered rock surfaces were divided into six levels to reveal the spatial distributions of Fe content of these samples.In addition,we clearly displayed wavelengths with obvious characteristics by analyzing the spectra of these samples.The results of this work indicated that Fe content estimation models based on the fresh rock surface measurements in the laboratory can be applied to in situ field or satellite-based measurements of Fe content of the weathered rock surfaces.It is not the best way to use only the single wavelengths reflectance at all absorption wavelengths or the depth of these absorption features to estimate Fe content.Based on sample data analysis,the comparison with other indices revealed that the performance of the modified normalized difference index is the best indicator for estimating rock Fe content,with R2 values of 0.45 and 0.40 corresponding to datasets I and II,respectively.Hence,the modified normalized difference index(the wavelengths of 2220,2290,and 2370 nm)identified in this study could contribute considerably to improve the identification accuracy of rock Fe content in the bare rock areas.The method proposed in this study can obviously provide an efficient solution for large-scale rock Fe content measurements in the field.WANG Jinlin WANG Wei CHENG Yinyi ZHANG Zhixin WANG Shanshan ZHOU Kefa LI Pingheng 2021Journal of Arid Land2021,13,12:0
9Evaluation of Farmer Training Satisfaction Level in Hubei Province显示文摘Based on fully understanding the significance of farmer training,this paper builds the evaluation index system for farmer training satisfaction level. Then this paper employs the field survey data about Yichang and Jingzhou in Hubei Province to evaluate the farmer training satisfaction level in Hubei Province. Results show that farmers have high level of satisfaction on agricultural training in Hubei Province,and the average satisfaction level reaches 0. 8556; there are regional differences in the farmer training satisfaction level in Hubei Province; the index weight is not entirely directly proportional to the training satisfaction level in the evaluation index system. 10Ecological Risks of Agricultural Land Capitalization and Their Prevention显示文摘The capitalization of agricultural land as an institutional innovation in land use is of great significance to revitalize China's land resources, change land use and improve land use efficiency. With the gradual implementation of the capitalization of agricultural land, however, environmental problems brought by capitalization have restricted the sustainable and efficient utilization of agricultural land. This study, from the perspective of ecology, discusses ecological risks of agricultural land capitalization, analyzes the ecological risks of agricultural land capitalization in terms of the amount of land and land quality as well as the formation mechanism of the ecological risks of agricultural land capitalization. It is found that the logic of the capital itself, the profitability of the subject and the fragility of the ecological environment are the internal and external factors of the ecological risks of agricultural land. 11Agricultural Ecological Capital: Factor Structure,Value Assessment and Accumulation Mechanism显示文摘As a kind of important new capital form,agricultural ecological capital plays a decisive role in guaranteeing healthy development of agricultural ecological economy. Therefore scientific understanding agricultural ecological capital is favorable for developing agricultural ecological economy,while clarifying factor structure,value assessment and accumulation mechanism of agricultural ecological capital is important content of understanding agricultural ecological capital. In this paper,factor structure of agricultural ecological capital is firstly elaborated,and it is thought that agricultural ecological capital is the unity of agricultural ecological environment,agricultural ecological resource and agricultural ecological system. Then agricultural ecological capital value is assessed according to use value method and non use value method,thereby realizing quantification of agricultural ecological capital. After agricultural ecological capital passes through value assessment,the value is more clear,which creates condition for agricultural ecological capital accumulation. Finally accumulation mechanism of agricultural ecological capital is analyzed. 12Soil erosion assessment by RUSLE model using remote sensing and GIS in an arid zone显示文摘In this research,we used the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation(RUSLE)and Geographical Information System(GIS)to predict the annual rate of soil loss in the District Chakwal of Pakistan.The parameters of the RUSLE model were estimated using remote sensing data,and the erosion probability zones were determined using GIs.The estimated length slope(LS),crop management(C),rainfall erosivity(R),soil erodibility(K),and support practice(P)range from 0-68,227,0-66.61%,0-0.58,495.99-648.68 MJ/mm.t.ha^(-1).year^(-1),0.15-0.25 MJ/mm.t.ha^(-1).year^(-1),and 1 respectively.The results indicate that the estimated total annual potential soi loss of approximately 4,67,064.25 t.ha^(-1).year^(-1) is comparable with the measured'sediment ioss of 11,631 t.ha^(-1).year^(-1) during the water year 2020.The predicted soil erosion rate due to an increase in agricultural area is approximately 164,249.31 t.ha^(-1).year^(-1).In this study,we also used,Landsat imagery to rapidly achieve actual land use classification.Meanwhile,38.i3%of the region was threatened by very high soil erosion,where the quantity of soil erosion ranged from 365487.35 t.ha^(-1).year^(-1),Integrating GIS and remote sensing with the RUSLE model helped researchers achieve their final objectives.Land-use planners and decision-makers use the result's spatial distribution of soil erosion in District Chakwal for conservation and management planning.Pingheng Li Aqil Tariq Qingting Li Bushra Ghaffar Muhammad Farhan Ahsan Jamil Walid Soufan Ayman El Sabagh Mohamed Freeshah 2023International Journal of Digital Earth2023,16,1:0
