| 1 | Poxue Huayu and Tianjing Busui Decoction for cerebral hemorrhage Upregulation of neurotrophic factor expression显示文摘This study established a rat model of cerebral hemorrhage by injecting autologous anticoagulated blood.Rat models were intragastrically administered 5,10,20 g/kg Poxue Huayu and Tianjing Busui Decoction,supplemented with Hirudo,raw rhubarb,raw Pollen Typhae,gadfly,Fructrs Trichosanthis,Radix Notoginseng,Rhizoma Acori Talarinowii,and glue of tortoise plastron,once a day,for 14 consecutive days.Results demonstrated that brain water content significantly reduced in rats with cerebral hemorrhage,and intracerebral hematoma volume markedly reduced after treatment.Immunohistochemical staining revealed that brain-derived neurotrophic factor,tyrosine kinase B and vascular endothelial growth factor expression noticeably increased around the surrounding hematoma.Reverse transcription-PCR revealed that brain-derived neurotrophic factor and tyrosine kinase B mRNA expression significantly increased around the surrounding hematoma.Neurologic impairment obviously reduced.These results indicated that Poxue Huayu and Tianjing Busui Decoction exert therapeutic effects on cerebral hemorrhage by upregulating the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor. | Jixiang Ren Xiangyu Zhou Jian Wang Jianjun Zhao Pengguo Zhang | 2013 | Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,22: | 19 |
| 2 | Zhichan powder regulates nigrostriatal dopamine synthesis and metabolism in Parkinson's disease rats显示文摘In this study, rat models of Parkinson's disease induced by substantia nigra injection of 6-hydroxy-dopamine were intragastrically administered Zhichan powder daily for 50 days. Reverse transcription PCR results showed that tyrosine hydroxylase mRNA expression in the rat substantia nigra was significantly increased, while monoamine oxidase B mRNA expression was significantly decreased in the Zhichan powder group, compared with the model group. In addition, the levels of striatal dopamine and homovanillic acid, the ratio of dopamine to homovanillic acid, and the activity of blood superoxide dismutase were all higher in the Zhichan powder group than in the model group, but the content of malondialdehyde in blood was lower. | 5 | Effect of Aerosol Particles on Orographic Clouds:Sensitivity to Autoconversion Schemes显示文摘Aerosol particles can serve as cloud condensation nuclei(CCN)to influence orographic clouds.Autoconversion,which describes the initial formation of raindrops from the collision of cloud droplets,is an important process for aerosol-cloud-precipitation systems.In this study,seven autoconversion schemes are used to investigate the impact of CCN on orographic warm-phase clouds.As the initial cloud droplet concentration is increased from 100 cm^(-3)to 1000 cm^(-3)(to represent an increase in CCN),the cloud water increases and then the rainwater is suppressed due to a decrease in the autoconversion rate,leading to a spatial shift in surface precipitation.Intercomparison of the results from the autoconversion schemes show that the sensitivity of cloud water,rainwater,and surface precipitation to a change in the concentration of CCN is different from scheme to scheme.In particular,the decrease in orographic precipitation due to increasing CCN is found to range from-87%to-10%depending on the autoconversion scheme.Moreover,the surface precipitation distribution also changes significantly by scheme or CCN concentration,and the increase in the spillover(ratio of precipitation on the leeward side to total precipitation)induced by increased CCN ranges from 10%to 55%under different autoconversion schemes.The simulations suggest that autoconversion parameterization schemes should not be ignored in the interaction of aerosol and orographic cloud. | Hui XIAO Yan YIN Pengguo ZHAO Qilin WAN Xiantong LIU | 2020 | Advances in Atmospheric Sciences2020,37,2: | 0 |
| 6 | Experimental investigation and thermodynamic modeling of the U-Nb system显示文摘The phase equilibria and thermodynamic properties of the U-Nb system were investigated through experiments and thermodynamic modeling.In the experiments,a series of samples with different content of Nb were prepared by arc melting.The Nb content covers the entire composition range of the U-Nb binary system.After solidification,the samples were annealed and then analyzed by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy,differential scanning calorimeter and neutron diffraction.The equilibrium phases,including γ1(U-rich bcc),αU,and γ2(U-depleted bcc),were determined in detail from the experimental characterization.The occurrence of the invariant reaction γ1→αU+γ2 was confirmed,and the reaction temperature and composition were accurately identified.Moreover,the experimental findings clarify the dispute between the Dwight and Terekhov theories regarding the phase region(i.e.,whether the phase region is αU+γ1 or βU+γ2).Furthermore,the U-Nb phase diagram was reassessed by incorporating the present experimental data and previously published reliable experimental data from the literature.A set of self-consistent thermodynamic parameters were developed using CALPHAD(Calculation of phase diagrams),and the calculations reasonably agree with the experimental observations. | Chuan Mo Wenlin Mo Peng Zhou BaiXue Bian Yong Du Tao Fa Pengguo Zhang Ruiwen Li Yanzhi Zhang Changsheng Zhang Yuanhua Xia Xiaolin Wang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,22: | 0 |
