| 2 | Effects of Electroacupuncture of Different Intensities on Energy Metabolism of Mitochondria of Brain Cells in Rats with Cerebral Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury显示文摘Objective:To observe the effects of electroacupuncture(EA)of different intensities on lactate dehydrogernase(LDH),succinate dehydrogenase(SDH)and ATPase in brain tissue of rats with cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury(CI/R).Methods:Forty male SD rats were uniformly randomized into sham operation group(group A),CI/R group(group B),CI/R+5 mA EA(group C),CI/R+3 mA EA(group D)and CI/R+1 mA EA(group E)groups with eight rats in each group.Transient general brain ischemia was induced by four-vessel occlusion and reperfusion.The rats in group C,group D and group E were punctured and stimulated at Baihui(GV20),Mingmen(GV4)and Zusanli(ST36)with the same intermittent and rarefaction-dense wave(30 to 50 Hz)and different electdc current intensities:5 mA,3 mA and 1 mA for 20 min after CI/R.Then the activities of Na+-K+-ATPase,SDH and LDH in mitochondria of brain tissue were measured by spectrophotometry.The ischemic cerebral cortex tissue was taken for observing the ultrastructure changes of impaired nerve cells.Results:Compared with group A,the activities of LDH,SDH and Na+-K+-ATPase were Iowerer in the group B(P<0.05 or P<0.01).However,the activities of LDH,SDH and Na^+-K^+-ATPase were higher in the group D than those in the group B(P<0.05 or P<0.01).In group A,the anatomical structure of the cerebral cortex cells was basically normal;in group B,the neuronal cellular structures were severely damaged,the neuronal mitochondria got swelling,the mitochondrial cristae were broken,the medullated nerve fibers were not integrated.In group C,group D and group E,the ultrastructure of impaired neuron were improved.Group D was the best among three groups above.Conclusion:EA of 3 mA intensity could strengthen aerobic metabolism by elevating the activities of SDH and LDH,meanwhile maintaining the ionic equilibrium in the extedor and interior brain cell and relieving the cellular edema by reinforcing the activities of Na^+-K^+-ATPase. | 田伟千 Yong G Peng 崔苏扬 姚凤珍 李宝贵 | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine2015，21，8： | 16 |

| 6 | Emergence,Mating and Oviposition Behavior of the Chinese Population in Pink Bollworm,Pectinophora gossypiella (Lepidoptera:Gelechiidae)显示文摘The pink bollworm, Pectinophora gossypiella (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae) is one of the most serious lepidopteran pests of cotton in the world. This pest invaded China at the onset of the 20th century, possibly through repeated introductions from several different locations worldwide. In this paper, we describe different behavioral parameters of this Hubei P. gossypiella strain under laboratory and field conditions. Using an infra-red video recorder, we observed (nocturnal) emergence, flight and mating activities, and oviposition patterns. Moth emergence started from 13:00 and continued up till 23:00. Under laboratory and field conditions, 2-7-d-old moths initiated flight around sunset, peaked 50 min later and gradually declined until 04:00. Although mating started immediately after darkness (i.e., 20:00), mating behavior was most intense from 23:00 to 03:40. Oviposition also showed distinct time-related patterns, with approx. 70% eggs laid between 20:00 and 22:00. In the studies of the relationship between flight and oviposition, the duration of flight had an effect on oviposition. The 1-d-old moths flown for 6 and 12 h began oviposition earlier than the unflown ones, and the 6-h flight had no effect on the egg production. However, the longevity of the flown moths was shortened after flight. In addition, the peaks of oviposition for the flown moths were advanced 2-3 d. The age when the moths flied affected the oviposition of adult moths. The earlier the moths started to fly after emergence, the greater the fecundity they had. The average egg production of moths flown for 24 h was less than that of non-flown moths which were of the same age. Both flight and delay in mating could advance the oviposition peak. | 10 | Preparation of stable micropatterns of gold on cell-adhesion-resistant hydrogels assisted by a hetero-bifunctional macromonomer linker显示文摘Surface patterning is very useful in biomaterial studies, yet it is not easy to prepare a micropattern with cell-adhesion contrast that is stable in a wet environment. Recently, a platform technique of transfer photolithography was invented to fabricate stable metal microarrays on the surface of a cell-adhesion resistant and mechanically biomimetic poly(ethylene glycol) hydrogel; the linker is the key chemical in such a transfer strategy. This article reports the design and synthesis of a hetero-bifunctional macromonomer linker with a thiol group at one end and an acryloyl group at the other end. The bifunctional linker was characterized by GPC and 1H NMR, and the average number of thiol groups in the bifunctional linker was detected by Ellman's reagent. The regent stability under wet conditions was also confirmed by the model reactants.
