1In vitro antibacterial and free radical scavenging activity of green hull of Juglans regia显示文摘Antioxidant supplements from plants are vital to count the oxidative damage in cells. We assessed the antioxidants and antibacterial activity of green hull of Juglans regia in this study.According to our results the maximum antibacterial activity was observed in ethanolic extract when compared to other extract. So,the ethanolic extract was studied for antioxidant activity which exhibited high antiradical activity against DPPH,hydroxyl, and nitric oxide radicals. In conclusion, green hull of J.regia showed strong reducing power activity and total antioxidant capacity. The results justify the therapeutic application of plant in the indigenous system of medicine.Pardeep Sharma G.Ravikumar M.Kalaiselvi D.Gomathi C.Uman 2013Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2013,3,4:6
2Optimization of photovoltaic power system:a comparative study显示文摘This paper presents a comparative study of P&O,fuzzy P&O and BPSO fuzzy P&O control methods by using MATLAB software for optimizing the power output of the solar PV grid array. The voltage, power output and the duty cycle of the solar PV array are well presented and analyzed with an algorithm. The model consists of 66 PV Cells connected parallel and 5 PV cells connected in series to make solar PV array. The BPSO Fuzzy method generates 43.4820 MW output power more than P&O method and 150 KW more than P&O fuzzy method. This also shows that the time response of the photovoltaic system reduces to perturbations and insures the continuity of the operation at the time in response to the continued maximum power point. It also eliminates the fluctuations around MPPT.Simulation results also revealed that BPSO fuzzy P&O controller is more effective as compare with P&O and fuzzy P&O models.Vishal Dabra Krishan Kumar Paliwal Pardeep Sharma Narender Kumar 2017Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2017,2,1:1
3Condition Evaluation in Steel Truss Bridge with Fused Hilbert Transform,Spectral Kurtosis, and Bandpass Filter显示文摘This study is concerned with the diagnosis of discrepancies in a steel truss bridge by identifying dynamic properties from the vibration response signals of the bridges. The vibration response signals collected at bridges under three different vehicular speeds of 10 km/hr,20 km/hr,and 30 km/hr are analyzed using statistical features such as kurtosis, magnitude of peak-to-peak,root mean square, crest factor as well as impulse factor in time domain, and Stockwell transform in the time-frequency domain. The considered statistical features except for kurtosis show uncertain behavior. The Stockwell transform showed low-resolution outcomes when the presence of noise in the recorded vibration responses. The elimination of noise and extraction of meaningful dynamic properties from the vibration responses is done by applying a new method which comes from the fusion of Hilbert transform with Spectral kurtosis and bandpass filtering. The outcomes obtained from Hilbert transform processed residual signals which are further filtered using bandpass filter show more robustness and accuracy in characterizing bridge modal frequencies from the noisy vibration responses. The proposed method produces a high-resolution frequency response which can unveil the joint discrepancy in the bridge structure.Anshul Sharma Pardeep Kumar Hemant Kumar Vinayak uresh Kumar Walia 2021Structural Durability & Health Monitoring2021,15,2:1
4Sulphur vacancy defects engineered metal sulfides for amended photo(electro)catalytic water splitting: A review显示文摘Vacancy engineering in metal sulfides has garnered enormous attention from researchers because of their outstanding ability to modulate the optical and physiochemical properties of photocatalysts.Typically,in the case of sulfides, the catalytic activity is drastically hindered by the quick reassembly of excitons and the photocorrosion effect.Hence designing and generating S-vacancies in metal sulfides has emerged as a potential strategy for attaining adequate water splitting to generate H_(2) and O_(2) because of the simulta-neous improvement in the optoelectronic features. However, developing efficient catalysts that manifest optimal photo(electro)catalytic performance for large-scale applicability remains challenging. Therefore,it is of utmost interest to explore the insightful features of creating S-vacancy and study their impact on catalytic performance. This review article aims to comprehensively highlight the roles of S-vacancy in sulfides for amended overall water-splitting activity. The photocatalytic features of S-vacancies modulated metal sulfides are deliberated, followed by various advanced synthetic and characterization techniques for effectual generation and identification of vacancy defects. The specific aspects of S-vacancies in refin-ing the optical absorption range charge carrier dynamics, and photoinduced surface chemical reactions are critically examined for overall water splitting applications. Finally, the vouchsafing outlooks and op-portunities confronting the defect-engineered(S-vacancy)metal sulfides-based photocatalysts have been summarized.Kusum Sharma Abhinandan Kumar Tansir Ahamad Quyet Van Le Pankaj Raizada Archana Singh Lan Huong Nguyen Sourbh Thakur Van-Huy Nguyen Pardeep Singh 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,21:0
