| 1 | 我国食品微生物定量风险评估的研究进展显示文摘近10余年来,我国政府重视食品安全并逐渐加强风险分析体系的构建和实施。根据历年来国家卫生与计生委的统计数据,表明由致病微生物导致的食物中毒发病率一直高于其他危害。食源性致病菌引起的食品安全风险是全球性问题,发展中国家面临的情况更为严峻,因此加强我国微生物定量风险评估以减少与发达国家的差距,从国家层面上势在必行。特别是2009年我国颁布实施《食品安全法》和2011年成立国家食品安全风险评估中心(China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment,CFSA)以来,已有不少针对国内具体食品致病菌情况开展的食品微生物定量风险评估(quantitative microbial risk assessment,QMRA)研究。本文对2000年至今我国已开展的QMRA研究,包括涉及的食品、致病菌、微生物预测模型、剂量-效应模型等进行详细综述。同时指出我国开展QMRA面临的技术性难题及解决方法,并对采用QMRA结果用于构建危害分析与关键控制点(Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point,HACCP)和食品安全目标(food safety objective,FSO)以及执行目标(performance objective,PO)的应用前景进行探讨。建议加强风险评估与风险管理的互动交流、进一步完善风险监测、微生物限量制定和国际合作,在完善实施指南的基础上针对我国具体国情开展更多具有科学性和系统性的QMRA研究。 | 董庆利 王海梅 Pradeep K MALAKAR 刘箐 宋筱瑜 田明胜 陆冉冉 | 2015 | 食品科学2015,36,11: | 43 |
| 2 | The Plant Vascular System: Evolution, Development and Functions显示文摘The emergence of the tracheophyte-based vascular system of land plantshad major impacts on the evolution of terrestrial biology, in general,through its role in facilitating the development of plants with increasedstature, photosynthetic output, and ability to colonize a greatly expandedrange of environmental habitats. Recently, considerable progress hasbeen made in terms of our understanding of the developmental andphysiological programs involved in the formation and function of theplant vascular system. In this review, we first examine the evolutionaryevents that gave rise to the tracheophytes, followed by analysis of thegenetic and hormonal networks that cooperate to orchestrate vasculardevelopment in the gymnosperms and angiosperms. The two essentialfunctions performed by the vascular system, namely the delivery of resources (water, essential mineralnutrients, sugars and amino acids) to the various plant organs and provision of mechanical support arenext discussed. Here, we focus on critical questions relating to structural and physiological propertiescontrolling the delivery of material through the xylem and phloem. Recent discoveries into the role ofthe vascular system as an effective long-distance communication system are next assessed in termsof the coordination of developmental, physiological and defense-related processes, at the whole-plantlevel. A concerted effort has been made to integrate all these new findings into a comprehensive pictureof the state-of-the-art in the area of plant vascular biology. | 3 | 基于遥感和GIS的喜马拉雅山科西河流域冰湖变化特征分析显示文摘受全球气候变暖的影响,冰川退缩,冰湖数量增多和面积增大被认为指示气候变化的重要依据,冰湖面积增大导致其潜在危险性增大.因此,研究冰湖的变化对于气候变化和冰湖灾害研究具有重要意义.基于Landsat TM/ETM+遥感影像采用人工解译的方法,获取了喜马拉雅山地区科西河流域1990年前后、2000年和2010年的冰湖数据,并对冰湖面积〉0.1 km^2且一直存在的199个冰湖的面积和长度变化进行对比分析.结果表明:科西河流域内面积〉0.1 km^2的冰湖的面积呈现增加趋势,1990年冰湖面积为73.59 km^2,2010年冰湖面积增加至86.12 km^2.科西河流域内喜马拉雅山南北坡冰湖变化存在差异,喜马拉雅山北坡变化较大的冰湖主要分布在海拔4 800-5 600 m之间,而南坡变化较大的冰湖主要分布在海拔4 300-5 200 m之间;喜马拉雅山北坡的冰湖有65%的冰湖表现扩张,且扩张冰湖的面积主要是由冰湖在靠近终碛垅的一端基本不发生变化,而仅在靠近冰川一端发生变化贡献的;喜马拉雅山南坡的冰湖有32%的冰湖变化表现扩张,且扩张的冰湖面积主要来自于冰面湖扩张.在科西河流域内,位于喜马拉雅山北坡的冰湖平均变化速度略高于南坡的冰湖平均变化速度. | 高晓 吴立宗 Pradeep K.Mool | 2015 | 冰川冻土2015,37,3: | 19 |
| 4 | Renal function in diabetic nephropathy显示文摘Diabetic nephropathy is the kidney disease that occurs as a result of diabetes.Cardiovascular and renal complications share common risk factors such as blood pressure,blood lipids,and glycemic control.Thus,chronic kidney disease may predict cardiovascular disease in the general population.The impact of diabetes on renal impairment changes with increasing age.Serum markers of glomerular filtration rate and microalbuminuria identify renal impairment in different segments of the diabetic population,indicating that serum markers as well as microalbuminuria tests should be used in screening for nephropathy in diabetic older people.The American Diabetes Association and the National Institutes of Health recommend Estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR) calculated from serum creatinine at least once a year in all people with diabetes for detection of kidney dysfunction.eGFR remains an independent and significant predictor after adjustment for conventional risk factors including age,sex,duration of diabetes,smoking,obesity,blood pressure,and glycemic and lipid control,as well as presence of diabetic retinopathy.Cystatin-C(Cys C) may in future be the preferred marker of diabetic nephropathy due differences in measurements of serum creatinine by various methods.The appropriate reference limit for Cys C in geriatric clinical practice must be defined by further research.Various studies have shown the importance of measurement of albuminuria,eGFR,serum creatinine and hemoglobin level to further enhance the prediction of end stage renal disease. | Pradeep Kumar Dabla | 2010 | World Journal of Diabetes2010,1,2: | 16 |
| 5 | Role of dental plaque,saliva and periodontal disease in Helicobacter pylori infection显示文摘Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection is one of the most common bacterial infections in humans.Although H.pylori may be detected in the stomach of approximately half of the world’s population,the mechanisms of transmission of the microorganism from individual to individual are not yet clear.Transmission of H.pylori could occur through iatrogenic,fecal-oral,and oral-oral routes,and through food and water.The microorganism may be transmitted orally and has been detected in dental plaque and saliva.However,the role of the oral cavity in the transmission and recurrence of H.pylori infection has been the subject of debate.A large number of studies investigating the role of oral hygiene and periodontal disease in H.pylori infection have varied significantly in terms of their methodology and sample population,resulting in a wide variation in the reported results.Nevertheless,recent studies have not only shown that the microorganism can be detected fairly consistently from the oral cavity but also demonstrated that the chances of recurrence of H.pylori infection is more likely among patients who harbor the organism in the oral cavity.Furthermore,initial results from clinical trials have shown that H.pylori-positive dyspeptic patients may benefit from periodontal therapy.This paper attempts to review the current body of evidence regarding the role of dental plaque,saliva,and periodontal disease in H.pylori infection. | Pradeep S Anand Kavitha P Kamath Sukumaran Anil | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,19: | 15 |
| 6 | CFD-DEM study of effect of bed thickness for bubbling fluidized beds显示文摘The effect of bed thickness in rectangular fluidized beds is investigated through the CFD-DEM simula- tions of small-scale systems. Numerical results are compared for bubbling fluidized beds of various bed thicknesses with respect to particle packing, bed expansion, bubble behavior, solids velocities, and particle kinetic energy. Good two-dimensional (2D) flow behavior is observed in the bed having a thickness of up to 20 particle diameters. However, a strong three-dimensional (3D) flow behavior is observed in beds with a thickness of 40 particle diameters, indicating the transition from 2D flow to 3D flow within the range of 20-40 particle diameters. Comparison of velocity profiles near the walls and at the center of the bed shows significant impact of the front and back walls on the flow hydrodynamics of pseudo-2D fluidized beds. | 7 | Bile acid receptors and gastrointestinal functions显示文摘Bile acids modulate several gastrointestinal(GI)functions including electrolyte secretion and absorption,gastric emptying,and small intestinal and colonic motility.High concentrations of bile acids lead to diarrhea and are implicated in the development of esophageal,gastric and colonic cancer.Alterations in bile acid homeostasis are also implicated in the pathophysiology of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)and inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Our understanding of the mechanisms underlying these effects of bile acids on gut functions has been greatly enhanced by the discovery of bile acid receptors,including the nuclear receptors:farnesoid X receptor(FXR),vitamin D receptor(VDR),pregnane X receptor(PXR),and constitutive androstane receptor(CAR);and G protein-coupled receptors(GPCRs):Takeda G protein-coupled receptor 5(TGR5),sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 2(S1PR2),and muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M3(M3R).For example,various studies provided evidence demonstrating the anti-inflammatory effects of FXR and TGR5 activation in models of intestinal inflammation.In addition,the activation of TGR5 in enteric neurons was recently shown to increase colonic motility,which may lead to bile acid-induced diarrhea(BAD).Interestingly,TGR5 induces the secretion of glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1)from L-cells to enhance insulin secretion and modulate glucose metabolism.Because of the importance of these receptors,agonists of TGR5 and intestine-specific FXR agonists are currently being tested as an option for the treatment of diabetes mellitus and primary bile acid diarrhea,respectively.This review summarizes current knowledge of the functional roles of bile acid receptors in the GI tract. | Alexander L.Ticho Pooja Malhotra Pradeep K.Dudeja Ravinder K.Gill Waddah A.Alrefai | 2019 | Liver Research2019,3,1: | 13 |

| 11 | Blumgart's technique of pancreaticojejunostomy: Analysis of safety and outcomes显示文摘Background: Blumgart's pancreaticojejunostomy(PJ) has been described with low pancreatic leak rates. This study aimed to evaluate our experience with this technique regarding the pancreatic leak and other perioperative outcomes. Methods: We performed a single-center retrospective analysis of a cohort of 81 patients who underwent pancreaticoduodenectomy in our department from January 2011 to February 2018. The primary endpoint was the occurrence of a clinically relevant postoperative pancreatic fistula(CR-POPF) and analysis of its risk factors. Results: The CR-POPF rate was 12.3%. Fistula risk score(FRS) was the only significant risk factor for the occurrence of overall POPF in multivariate analysis. However, none of the other factors including FRS was found to be significantly associated with CR-POPF risk. A strong positive correlation was found between the CR-POPF and the incidence of delayed gastric emptying, post-pancreatectomy hemorrhage and increased length of hospital stay. Conclusion: Blumgart's technique is a safe technique of pancreatico-enteric anastomosis with low rates of CR-POPF. CR-POPF with this technique is independent of most of the preoperative and intraoperative factors. | 13 | Computational Identification of Sweet Wormwood (Artemisia annua) microRNA and Their mRNA Targets显示文摘Despite its efficacy against malaria, the relatively low yield (0.01%-0.8%) of artemisinin in Artemisia annua is a serious limitation to the commercialization of the drug. A better understanding of the biosynthetic pathway of artemisinin and its regulation by both exogenous and endogenous factors is essential to improve artemisinin yield. Increasing evidence has shown that microRNAs (miRNAs) play multiple roles in various biological processes. In this study, we used previously known miRNAs from Arabidopsis and rice against expressed sequence tag (EST) database of A. annua to search for potential miRNAs and their targets in A. annua. A total of six potential miRNAs were predicted, which belong to the miR414 and miR1310 families. Furthermore, eight potential target genes were identified in this species. Among them, seven genes encode proteins that play important roles in ar- temisinin biosynthesis, including HMG-CoA reductase (HMGR), amorpha-4,11-diene synthase (ADS), farnesyl pyrophosphate synthase (FPS) and cytochrome P450. In addition, a gene coding for putative AINTEGUMENTA, which is involved in signal transduction and development, was also predicted as one of the targets. | 15 | Radiofrequency ablation for early oesophageal squamous neoplasia:Outcomes form United Kingdom registry显示文摘AIM:To report outcomes on patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation(RFA)for early oesophageal squamous neoplasia from a National Registry.METHODS:A Prospective cohort study from 8 tertiary referral centres in the United Kingdom.Patients with squamous high grade dysplasia(HGD)and early squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)confined to the mucosa were treated.Visible lesions were removed by endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)before RFA.Following initial RFA treatment,patients were followed up 3monthly.Residual flat dysplasia was treated with RFA until complete reversal dysplasia(CR-D)was achieved or progression to invasive Squamous cell cancer defined as infiltration into the submucosa layer or beyond.The main outcome measures were CR-D at 12 mo from start of treatment,long term durability,progression to cancer and adverse events.RESULTS:Twenty patients with squamous HGD/ESCC completed treatment protocol.Five patients(25%)had EMR before starting RFA treatment.CR-D was 50%at12 mo with a median of 1 RFA treatment,mean 1.5(range 1-3).Two further patients achieved CR-D with repeat RFA after this time.Eighty per cent with CR-D remain dysplasia free at latest biopsy,with median follow up 24 mo(IQR 17-54).Six of 20 patients(30%)progressed to invasive cancer at 1 year.Four patients(20%)required endoscopic dilatations for symptomatic structuring after treatment.Two of these patients have required serial dilatations thereafter for symptomatic dysphagia with a median of 4 dilatations per patient.The other 2 patients required only a single dilatation to achieve an adequate symptomatic response.One patient developed cancer during follow up after end of treatment protocol.CONCLUSION:The role of RFA in these patients re-mains unclear.In our series 50%patients responded at12 mo.These figures are lower than limited published data. | Rehan J Haidry Mohammed A Butt Jason Dunn Matthew Banks Abhinav Gupta Howard Smart Pradeep Bhandari Lesley Ann Smith Robert Willert Grant Fullarton Morris John Massimo Di Pietro Ian Penman Marco Novelli Laurence B Lovat | 2013 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,36: | 7 |

| 18 | Safety assessment of Bifidobacterium longum JDM301 based on complete genome sequences显示文摘AIM:To assess the safety of Bifidobacterium longum (B.longum) JDM301 based on complete genome sequences.METHODS:The complete genome sequences of JDM301 were determined using the GS 20 system.Putative virulence factors,putative antibiotic resistance genes and genes encoding enzymes responsible for harmful metabolites were identified by blast with virulence factors database,antibiotic resistance genes database and genes associated with harmful metabolites in previous reports.Minimum inhibitory concentration of 16 common antimicrobial agents was evaluated by E-test.RESULTS:JDM301 was shown to contain 36 genes associated with antibiotic resistance,5 enzymes related to harmful metabolites and 162 nonspecific virulence factors mainly associated with transcriptional regulation,adhesion,sugar and amino acid transport.B.longum JDM301 was intrinsically resistant to ciprofloxacin,amikacin,gentamicin and streptomycin and susceptible to vancomycin,amoxicillin,cephalothin,chloramphenicol,erythromycin,ampicillin,cefotaxime,rifampicin,imipenem and trimethoprim-sulphamethoxazol.JDM301 was moderately resistant to bacitracin,while an earlier study showed that bifidobacteria were susceptible to this antibiotic.A tetracycline resistance gene with the risk of transfer was found in JDM301,which needs to be experimentally validated.CONCLUSION:The safety assessment of JDM301 using information derived from complete bacterial genome will contribute to a wider and deeper insight into the safety of probiotic bacteria. | Yan-Xia Wei Zhuo-Yang Zhang Chang Liu Pradeep K Malakar Xiao-Kui Guo | 2012 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2012,18,5: | 5 |
| 19 | 气单胞菌在不同食物接触表面的存活与交叉污染显示文摘为探讨气单胞菌在不同食物接触表面的存活状况,采用擦拭取样法测定气单胞菌于案板、刀具表面的恢复率,并将气单胞菌分别接种于洁净和被污染的案板、刀具表面,评定气单胞菌在不同介质表面、不同时间下的存活状况。根据恢复率和介质表面上气单胞菌存活实测值,采用@Risk软件对介质表面实时带菌量的期望值进行计算,并运用一级线性模型对气单胞菌存活特征曲线进行拟合。同时,以案板为交叉污染途径,对气单胞菌在介质表面的存活行为对交叉污染的影响进行了探讨。结果表明:采用擦拭取样法测得的气单胞菌从案板、刀具表面的恢复率的最佳分布拟合结果分别是Normal(0.66,0.15)和Normal(0.72,0.18);气单胞菌在被污染的介质表面存活的时间(7 h)长于其在洁净介质表面的存活时间(3 h或2.5 h),且一级线性模型可以较好地对气单胞菌存活曲线进行拟合(R2>0.88);蒙特卡罗模拟结果表明,忽略气单胞菌在食物接触表面的存活行为会高估其在厨房内的交叉污染水平。 | 董庆利 王海梅 Pradeep K Malakar 陆冉冉 | 2015 | 农业机械学报2015,46,3: | 5 |
