| 1 | Methods to improve the performance of the swept source at 1.0 μm based on a polygon scanner显示文摘In this work, we investigate the methods to improve the performance of the swept source at 1.0 μm based on a polygon scanner, including in-cavity parameters and booster structures out of the cavity. The three in-cavity parameters are the cavity length, the rotating speed of the polygon scanner, and the in-cavity energy. With the decrease of cavity length, the spectrum bandwidth becomes wider and the duty cycle becomes higher.With the increase of the rotating speed of the polygon, the spectrum bandwidth becomes narrower, and the duty cycle becomes lower but the repetition rate becomes higher. With more energy in-cavity, the spectrum bandwidth becomes wider and the duty cycle becomes higher. The booster structures include the buffered structure, secondary amplifier, and dual-semiconductor optical amplifier configuration, which are used to increase the sweep frequency to 86 kHz, the output power to 18 mW, and the tuning bandwidth to 131 nm, respectively. | JING CAO PINGHE WANG YAN ZHANG GUOHUA SHI BO WU SHANGJIAN ZHANG YONG LIU | 2017 | Photonics Research2017,5,3: | 3 |
| 2 | Effect of Phosphorus Grain Boundaries Segregation and Precipitations on Mechanical Properties for Ti-IF Steel after Recrystallization Annealing显示文摘The cold-rolled(75% reduction ratio) Ti-IF(interstitial-free) steels of 1 mm thickness were recrystallized by annealing at 810°C for different times.The microstructure,mechanical properties and phosphorus segregation at grain boundary were investigated by means of optical microscopy(OM),tensile testing and field emission transmission electron microscopy(FE-TEM).It was observed that recrystallization was completed after annealing at 810°C for 180 s.The yield strength and tensile strength decreased as annealing time increased.The FE-TEM observation showed that after the annealing treatment,the grain boundary was broadened and the dislocations with higher density of phosphorus atoms and phosphide at grain boundaries became evident.The amount of phosphorus segregated at grain boundaries increased with annealing time. | Xinli Song Zexi Yuan Juan Jia Di Wang Pinghe Li Zhaojun Deng | 2010 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2010,26,9: | 2 |
| 3 | Enhance the delivery of light energy ultra-deep into turbid medium by controlling multiple scattering photons to travel in open channels显示文摘Multiple light scattering is considered as the major limitation for deep imaging and focusing in turbid media.In this paper,we present an innovative method to overcome this limitation and enhance the delivery of light energy ultradeep into turbid media with significant improvement in focusing.Our method is based on a wide-field reflection matrix optical coherence tomography(RM-OCT).The time-reversal decomposition of the RM is calibrated with the Tikhonov regularization parameter in order to get more accurate reversal results deep inside the scattering sample.We propose a concept named model energy matrix,which provides a direct mapping of light energy distribution inside the scattering sample.To the best of our knowledge,it is the first time that a method to measure and quantify the distribution of beam intensity inside a scattering sample is demonstrated.By employing the inversion of RM to find the matched wavefront and shaping with a phase-only spatial light modulator,we succeeded in both focusing a beam deep(~9.6 times of scattering mean free path,SMFP)inside the sample and increasing the delivery of light energy by an order of magnitude at an ultra-deep(~14.4 SMFP)position.This technique provides a powerful tool to understand the propagation of photon in a scattering medium and opens a new way to focus light inside biological tissues. | Jing Cao Qiang Yang Yusi Miao Yan Li Saijun Qiu Zhikai Zhu Pinghe Wang Zhongping Chen | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,5: | 2 |

| 6 | 1.3μm broadband swept sources with enhanced nonlinear effects显示文摘In this work,a new structure is used to enhance the nonlinear effect in the cavity,which improvesthe performance of the 1.3μm broadband swept source.The swept source adopts a semiconductoroptical amplifier(SOA),a circulator,a coupler,and a tunable filter.In the structure,the lightpasses through the nonlinear medium(SOA)twice in two opposite directions,which excites thenonlinear ffect and increases the performance of the swept source.The tunable filter is based on apolygon rotating mirror and gratings.Traditionally,multiple SOAs are adopted to improve thesweep range and the optical power,which increases the cost and complexity of the swept source.The method proposed in this paper can improve the spectral range and optical power of the sweptsources without additional accessories.For the short-cavity swept source,the power increasesfrom 6 mW to 7.7 mW,and the sweep range increases from 98 nm to 120 nm.The broadband swept sources could have wide applications in biomedical imaging,sensor system,measurementand so on. | Panqiu Jiang Jiale Mu Yuxing Liu Pinghe Wang Guohua Shi | 2023 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2023,16,3: | 0 |
