| 1 | Leaching and Redistribution of Nutrients in Surface Layer of Red Soils in Southeast China显示文摘The leaching and redistribution of nutrients in the surface layer of 4 types of red soils in Southeast China were studied with a lysimeter experiment under filed conditions.Results showed that the leaching concentrated in the rainy season(from April to June).Generally,the leaching of soil nutrients from the surface layer of red soils was in the order of Ca>Mg>K>NO3-N,In fertilization treatment,the total amount of soil nutrients leached out of the surface layer in a red soil derived from granite was the highest in all soils.The uptake by grass decreased the leaching of fertilizer ions in surface layer,particularly for No3-N,Soil total N and exchangeable K,Ca and Mg in the surface layer decreased with leaching and grass uptake during the 2 years without new fertilization of urea,Ca(H2PO4)2,KCl,CaCO3 and MgCO3,Ca moved from the application layer(0-5cm) of fertilizer and accumulated in the 10-30cm depth in the soils studied except that derved from quaternary red clay.The deficiency of soil exchangeable K will become a serious degradation process facing the Southeast China. | SUN BO ZHANG TAOLIN and ZHAO QIGUO(Institute of Soil Science, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, P.O. | 3 | Feeding of processed vegetable wastes to bulls and its potential environmental benefit显示文摘The study was conducted with the objectives to quantify year round availability of different vegetables waste(VW) in a wholesale market and to determine the inclusion level of a processed VW(VWP) in the diets of bulls. The daily VW biomass availability at Kawran bazaar, Dhaka, Bangladesh was quantified by weighing the vegetable supply and their wastes by visiting 2 days in a week. Concurrently, VW of cucumber, bitter gourd, spotted gourd, brinjal, pumpkin, potato, tomato, ladies finger, and snake gourd representing 0.21, 0.18, 0.17, 0.16, 0.09, 0.07, 0.06, 0.03, and 0.02 as fresh fractions, respectively were blended, dried and stored while adding rice polish and common salt at 200 and 20 g/kg DM, respectively;it was tested in bulls as an ingredient of concentrate mixture. Four dietary groups, each of 6 bulls, with initial average live weight(LW) of 85.47 ± 17 kg, were fed fresh German grass(Echinochloa polystachya)ad libitum supplemented with 4 different concentrates containing 0, 10%, 20% and 30% VWP at the rate of1% of LW for 89 days. The availability of VW biomass of the market was 42.51 t/d and recycling of them as feed, instead of using landfills, might reduce annual methane emission by 0.43 Gg. The inclusion of VWP in the diet up to 9.7% of DM, or 0.30% of LW of bulls showed no significant effect on the DM intake,digestibility, growth performance and health status of bulls. The dietary DM intake represented 3.10%,3.09%, 3.20% and 3.14% of LW resulting in daily gain of 302, 300, 312 and 344 g, respectively. The digestibility of DM of diets was 56.9%, 62.8%, 62.8% and 63.4%, respectively. | 4 | Efficient LEC2 activation of OLEOSIN expression requires two neighboring RY elements on its promoter显示文摘As the main structural protein of oil body,OLEOSIN is highly expressed only during seed development. OLEOSIN promoter is a very useful tool for seed-specific gene engineering and seed bioreactor designing. The B3 domain transcription factor leafy cotyledon2 (LEC2) plays an important role in regulating seed development and seed-specific gene expression. Here,we first report how seed-specific B3 domain transcription factor leafy cotyledon2 (LEC2) efficiently activates OLEOSIN expression. The central promoter region of OLEOSIN,responsible for seed specificity and LEC2 activation,was determined by 5'-deletion analysis. Binding experiments in yeast cells and electrophoretic mobility shift assays showed that LEC2 specifically bound to two conserved RY elements in this region. In transient expression assays,mutation in either RY element dramatically reduced LEC2 activation of OLEOSIN promoter activity,while double mutation abolished it. Analysis of the distribution of RY elements in seed-specific genes activated by LEC2 also supported the idea that genes containing neighboring RY elements responded strongly to LEC2 activation. Therefore,we conclude that two neighboring RY elements are essential for efficient LEC2 activation of OLEOSIN expression. | 6 | Transarterial chemoembolization using 40 μm drug eluting beads for hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘AIM To assess the safety and efficacy of transarterial chemoembolization(TACE) of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) using a new generation of 40 μm drug eluting beads in patients not eligible for curative treatment.METHODS Drug eluting bead TACE(DEB-TACE) using a new generation of microspheres(embozene tandem,40 μm) preloaded with 100 mg of doxorubicin was performed on 48 early or intermediate HCC patients with compensatedcirrhosis.Response to therapy was assessed with Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors(RECIST) and modified RECIST(m RECIST) guidelines applied to computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging.Eleven out of the 48 treated patients treated progressed on to receive liver orthotopic transplantation(OLT).This allowed for histological analysis on the treated explanted nodules.RESULTS DEB-TACE with 40 μm showed a good safety profile without major complications or 30-d mortality.The objective response rate of treated tumors was 72.6% and 26.7% according to m RECIST and RECIST respectively.Histological examination in 11 patients assigned to OLT showed a necrosis degree > 90% in 78.6% of cases.The overall time to progression was 13 mo(11-21).CONCLUSION DEB-TACE with 40 μm particles is an effective treatment for the treatment of HCC in early-intermediate patients(Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage A/B) with a good safety profile and good results in term of objective response rate and necrosis. | Giorgio Greco Tommaso Cascella Antonio Facciorusso Roberto Nani Rodolfo Lanocita Carlo Morosi Marta Vaiani Giuseppina Calareso Francesca G Greco Antonio Ragnanese Marco A Bongini Alfonso V Marchianò Vincenzo Mazzaferro Carlo Spreafico | 2017 | World Journal of Radiology2017，9，5： | 3 |

| 11 | An ε-domination based two-archive 2 algorithm for many-objective optimization显示文摘The two-archive 2 algorithm(Two_Arch2) is a manyobjective evolutionary algorithm for balancing the convergence,diversity,and complexity using diversity archive(DA) and convergence archive(CA).However,the individuals in DA are selected based on the traditional Pareto dominance which decreases the selection pressure in the high-dimensional problems.The traditional algorithm even cannot converge due to the weak selection pressure.Meanwhile,Two_Arch2 adopts DA as the output of the algorithm which is hard to maintain diversity and coverage of the final solutions synchronously and increase the complexity of the algorithm.To increase the evolutionary pressure of the algorithm and improve distribution and convergence of the final solutions,an ε-domination based Two_Arch2 algorithm(ε-Two_Arch2) for many-objective problems(MaOPs) is proposed in this paper.In ε-Two_Arch2,to decrease the computational complexity and speed up the convergence,a novel evolutionary framework with a fast update strategy is proposed;to increase the selection pressure,ε-domination is assigned to update the individuals in DA;to guarantee the uniform distribution of the solution,a boundary protection strategy based on I_(ε+) indicator is designated as two steps selection strategies to update individuals in CA.To evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm,a series of benchmark functions with different numbers of objectives is solved.The results demonstrate that the proposed method is competitive with the state-of-the-art multi-objective evolutionary algorithms and the efficiency of the algorithm is significantly improved compared with Two_Arch2. | WU Tianwei AN Siguang HAN Jianqiang SHENTU Nanying | 2022 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2022，33，1： | 1 |
